The black Rhea is a very elegant and feminine bra. It's simply gorgeous. The band runs tight and the cups shallow, albeit wide. I need narrower wires. I'm not sure if that's because my breasts are narrow (I haven't figured that out yet), or if it's because I am short (5'2" ) and thus wires are generally too wide on me. So it goes without saying that the Panache Rhea, which has wider wires than say an unpadded Freya, is DEFINITELY too wide on me.
It fit me well initially, but after wearing it for a few hours, it was clear that the cups are too small. The band became stretchier after a few washes/wears, but not too bad.
Moulded cups. The seams on the fabric in front of the cup pucker awkwardly and show through some shirts.
I really want to like this bra. the navy blue lace is so pretty! It's quite comfortable. And the band runs small! Love that so much. I'm not sure if it's an issue of how the bra was shipped to me or just the way I'm filling them out, but the cups seem to have quite the point on them, especially the left cup (my smaller side), which gives a weird look under shirts.
The band and cup runs small, so I'm going to return this and get a 34H. The colour and design is absolutely gorgeous, and the satin is nice and soft, so I definitely want one that fits.
Is this band very stiff with little stretch? I LOVE the fit and shape of the Masquerade Delphi, but hate the stupid band on it. I think I'd really love the shape of this bra, but hate the band. Looking at pictures another user added, it does look wider than the Delphi band which is extremely thin.
Beautifu beautiful bra which fits me better than the Delphi of the same size. The band is stretchier,t he sides are lower and the gore lies flat. I also think that the straps are less far appart.
However, I don't fill the top of the cup well and the edge stands up straight over my boobs, which makes it unwearable. It's so beautiful though that you could probably let it show under a low cut dress and people wil think it's part of the dress.
Absolutely beautiful and gives amazing lift. However, I fear that the 34GG is too small for me as I donit fill the bottom of the cups and the gore doesn't tack. The sides are very high though and rub into my armpit, I don't think I could wear a larger cup.
The band is spot on but has very little stretch in in. I probably could not wear it for long without an extender.
I love the Rhea - so many things about it work well for me even where I have issues in other bras. The wires are the right width and height, the straps aren't too far apart, it's comfortable, nothing pokes, and it gives great lift.
Too bad I bought it before I was educated about my proper size and fit... it's too small in the cup and a little big in the band, so I get quadboob and it rides up a bit in the back. I would probably need a 30HH in this bra, which happens to be my current size. I think it runs pretty true to size.
Fits well for a strapless. if you're looking for a lot of uplift, a super rounded shape, or cleavage, this isn't the bra - it does fit like a bandeau but obviously with the support of an underwire. But it does a great job of holding everything up, and it doesn't show under clothes.
This appears to be exactly the same as the Polka - only with pinstripes. I find the 36 band too large except on the tightest hooks and the FF at least a cup too small (probably 2). With my actual underbust of about 33" (and a preference for a tighter band), I probably should go for a 34GG or H (which is true for most of the Masquerade, Harlequin & Panache I've tried). But . . . the plunge isn't a good shape for my squishy rounded boobs. I fear I'd fall over/into the center even if the cups were larger, but I'd give it a go if I found a 34GG https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Nice that the underwire is lower at the center & sides. Very pretty, well made, lovely materials. Lift & support both good. Cute detail on straps. Comfy (except the falling out thing). Only 2 hooks on a pretty skinny band. Lace applique along the tops of the cups shows through most fabrics.
This bra is very pretty in person. It fits well and is fairly comfortable, though the straps don't have a lot of elastic in them and, therefore, stretch out by the end of the day. The crocheted lace applique on the cups can sometimes show under shirts.
Unfortunately, the cups fit me VERY strangely, like the top edge cuts in because the fabric there is stitched and non stretchable, but like some 3 part cups -.- the part where all the seams meet is a little hollow... It feels like it's not really the inner fabric, but the outer fabric is puckering lol.
I think its maybe because the top of my boob pushes the upper half of the bra downwards, thus the seam area folds a tiny bit. Perhaps I could have used a larger size? This is strange because I'm pretty sure that I am bottom heavy, and yet this bra wants to cut in!
Since this bra is so beautiful, and so nostalgic in a way to me (Lived in Shanghai for 3 years https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />, the fabric is quite reminiscent!) I'll just be framing it and putting it on display for decor.
Gorgeous to look at, very comfortable, and thiiiiiis close to fitting. If it hadn't fit on the tightest hook right away, and if I didn't have such narrow shoulders, I would have kept it. I ended up exchanging it for the 30G because the cup measurements seemed so similar. Fingers crossed that the exchange pays off. Seems like it will be a good fit otherwise.
This bra might be a bit better for someone with shallower breasts. It also seems to be running a bit tight and doesn't stretch much, so there's not a lot of give. The underwire could run a little farther on the sides, as it doesn't quite encompass my breast tissue. However, overall this is a really great fit and it looks beautiful.
This is an amazing bra! The fit and comfort are much better than the Curvy Kate Tease Me and Thrill Me bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The shape is wonderful. Round and uplifted! The 30H is a little too small, but wearable. (I usually wear a 30HH) I would buy a 30HH if the size was made. The only fit issue I have is that the gore doesn't lat flat on my chest. I have extremely close boobs i.e. there is absolutely no space in between them. The only gores that sit flat are low plunge gores. However, this gore is narrower than bras ...of similar shape https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Also, I prefer bras with 3 hooks and this has 2. it is a stiff, tight band though, so it doesn't ride up as much as the 30GG deco does.
If you love a round, uplifted shape, buy this bra if you can find it at a reasonable price! I am now lusting for the Delphi basque https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Read more 73 more words
I like this bra because it gives a nice rounded shape, with a good front presentation, and is low-cut enough that I don't worry about it showing underneath camisoles. It is not the most "secure" bra - although I have rated it as the cups fit well, because they mostly do, because it's such an open cup on top my left (larger) breast has a habit of falling out of the cup toward the center line (away from the strap) when I lean forward. The line is perfect when I am standing or sitting normally - it's just not a bra for athletic activity.
The bra didn't stretch out significantly after several months of wear. The orange colour is fun and didn't fade.
Very pretty bra, and it could be comfortable for the right person. Good support, but cups were too wide for me. There was a lot of empty space in the bottom and outer edges. There was a little bit of empty space at the top whenever I moved around. The bra is beautiful but does not suit my shape.
