It's the right size but wrong shape for me. At first it was a good fit but with time I noticed the bottom of the cups folding down and wrinkling. I'm pretty sure this is because the cup is too shallow for me at the bottom. It feels soft and I still wear it, but I adjust my boobs pretty often so they sit in the right place in the cups.
This bra runs tight in the band and large in the cup, so definitely size up a band and down a cup! My regular size is 36FF, and the 38E fits, the underwires are just a tad too narrow for me.
This is a very elegant bra and is perfect under v-necks. It is also quite comfortable though I have to wear it with an extender. The band is very tight and fits like a 28. The cup is true to size but as usual I tend to spill out of plunges so this bra is great for someone with firm breasts. If you are full on top I think this bra would give amazing cleavage though you might want to size up in the cup.
Pretty. Very tight band. I sized up per review to order the 32 instead of 30. I measure 30.5" underbust. Puts your boobies front and center, but I had some gaping in the cups, as it is pretty open on the top. Also made me slightly pointy. Has one vertical seam. The straps get wider at the top and are nice and satiny
The most gorgeous bra...doesn't fit me. Despite my measurements telling me that I am a 30E and all of my 30DD's being small this bra didn't fit me which leads me to believe that it could run large in the cups. Time to sell I guess :/
This is such a gorgeous bra. The band and straps fit me perfectly, but the cups are much too big.. I ordered the wrong size. If I could order it in a smaller cup size, I would!
The straps on this bra are too long for those with narrow shoulders, especially as they are satin and simply slide off. Lovely bra, creates a lovely rounded shape.
This bra seems mainly decorative. It's pretty and it fits, but even though the fabric used as the inner lining is firm and supportive, it's made of a scratchy, plasticky-feeling material. Any amount of walking or upper body movement made the seams scratch and irritate my nipples. Not fun!
It's a lovely bra, and fit okay on the tightest hook, until I broke it in, and it stretched out. (I normally wear a 28f, but this was supposed to run snug in the band, and the 30e was on sale).
I like that the straps are thin- unlike all of my 28 band bras. It's a good option for molded cup bras- the underwires are narrower than Panache's porcelain, and it may work for people who find the deco doesn't work.
The shape that this one gives me is a little more pointed and lower on my chest than I prefer.
I'll have to see how it does once I alter the band.
I've been waiting for the new Antoinette colourway for ages. I love the design of this model and would buy it in every colour!https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I had Antoinette pistacchio in 28ff, which doesn't fit me anymore, but I kept in memory that the band was very tight and firm. This time I tried my "usual" 30e and I think that this size is the best fit. As I expected, the band is just perfect (my underbust measurement is ~66 cm), I wear it on the first or second hook. My only complaint is about the wings which are extremely high, maybe too high ...for this size, and not very comfortable. The cup size is standard in my opinion, but the shape it gives is sligthly different from the previous models, they're more closed on the top and give a more natural shape. The center gore is very high, can be problematic for close-set breast. The straps are unstretchy and made of velvet in front. I definitely prefer stretchy straps because they're much more comfortable. It seems that in the AW2013 model the straps will be changedhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 87 more words
I love this bra. It makes me feel amazing. It's a very structured bra and my boobs aren't going anywhere; however, it so feminine. Love it, love it, love it.
Such an elegant bra. Sadly, it's slightly baggy at the top of the cups for me, although a fitter at a local lingerie store told me I could alter it. The center gore tacks perfectly and the underwires are just the right width, so I don't know why I get the feeling that this is "too much bra" for me, but that's how I feel.
Gorgeous balconette that was my first introduction to Masquerade. Gives great lift and shape. It was quite tight, and since I only wore it on special occasions, I never managed to stretch it out so that it became comfortable in the band.
Such a beautiful bra! I could wear it with an extender only; the band has almost no stretch. In this cup size, there's damn little band anyway - and that's the problem. The volume is there, but it's spread out over too much of my chest rather than up/out. I sense that it would be a great fit for someone with a little more upper firmness or a wider root. I would love to try it in a 34g/gg. This is the kind of bra that works best when it fits in the small side. It fits fine - technically - but it fails to give me any vavoom. That being said, it seems true to size. So, details: Nice 1/2 padded strap that's partially adjustable, lovely embroidery/lace (not great under thin or tight tops), well-made, gorgeous materials. Cups are 3-part vertical seamed, lined/padded. 2 hooks. Summary: great bra in the right size.
This bra fits me well. It has slightly more projection than other masquerade plunges, so it results in a more pointed shape. Not bad though, and looks natural from a profile view.
Band is firm and seems true to size, and the bra is comfortable overall. Gives me nice cleavage without being too overdone.
i bought this in a size too small (didn't realize it at the time) from lingerie heaven. their prices are good and their customer service is FANTASTIC - clare is super sweet, and very helpful.
this bra is so pretty! a kind of muted, grey-ish lilac color (they call it elderberry) with a satin-y sheen to it. this bra is SO SOFT and SO COMFORTABLE. since it was too small, i was quadboobing, and it seems rather shallow. the lacey patterned stuff is only tacked on to the cup at certain points (you can see them on the inside), so you have to be careful or you might snag it on something while you're not wearing it. my major issue is that the straps aren't fully adjustable, and unfortunately that's just not going to work out for me since i'm so short.
The band on this bra is a little long, but I couldn't find it in a 30 so I'll just have to alter it. The satin is very pretty, and the black 'lace' is printed on, so doesn't show through clothes (it would if you were wearing white, though, since it's black). The straps are partially lined with satin, so they are not fully adjustable. I can shorten them to the correct length, though, which is something that I sometimes have problems with. The bra cups are molded, but the front of the cups has 3 darts for shaping, which is something I've never seen on a bra before but looks really pretty. The molding is not very thick, so it does hide nipples but won't add bulk.
This bra was just a whole big contraption of "Nope" for me. It looked terrible. The cups were the wrong shape, the band was too stiff, the straps were too far apart, it was just terrible for me. I was sad because it's such a pretty bra. I know a lot of people like vthis bra, especially in this color (it was only sold on Bravissimo), but I've tried about three different sizes and the shape is just all wrong for me.
This bra was really pretty and gave a very nice round shape. Unfortunately the wires were way more narrow than other Panache and Masquerade bras in this size, while the band was significantly firmer. I was almost unable to fasten it, and felt like I was dying once I had. Because my breast tissue is so soft, this forced the gore to tack even though the lower volume of the cups was too shallow for me. The resulting compression of my lower breasts was pretty uncomfortable. Someone with more a full on top shape (I'm more even) and narrower root would do better in this bra than I did, especially if they got the correct size. I needed a 38H or 38HH for this bra to come close to being comfortable.
I have a question. How do you alter the band of a bra? There is one I want to get but I know the band will become too loose. Thanks for responding. :)
