It's a beautiful bra, purple colour and lace embroidery. The lace is visible under tight and clingy shirts, and the shape isn't very uplifted, so I generally wear it with something looser. The width of the underwires feels good when I put the bra on, but during the day it gets a bit uncomfortable.
Fits a bit tight in the band for a 30. The straps also don't adjust long enough. I thought the cups were too small since at times my cup seems to floweth over (not quad-boobing, but large portions of boob just hanging out, unsupported), but the gore tacks and at other times there is a smooth line to the cup...so I think that is just the design. Perhaps it would work for someone more wide-rooted (I have very narrow separation. The design is odd. Comfy (other than being too tight). The padded satin comes to just below the nipples, and an unsupported mesh comes up the rest of the way. Even with the mesh, it is a very low-cut bra. Would be a bad T-shirt bra, as going from a padded bottom to unsupported mesh top will leave a visible line under a t-shirt.
Tight in the band and too small in the cup- gives me major quadboob and a weird sloping effect. The detachable straps are always coming loose and pinging off! The gore is really high and digs into my sternum very painfully.
Edit- have just taken some pictures, and the fit is even worse than I thought! And with this fabric the wrinkling in the cup is much more noticeable. Eek! I've tried pulling it up higher on my body but I can't get it to budge ...
Beautiful bra. It fits me well, but may not be great under t-shirts due to how low the cup tops are. It is a true half cup, which works well on me. A keeper.
ETA: after wearing all day I realized that the UW pokes a bit in my underarms. I think the cups may come up a bit high on the outer sides for me. Still wearable, but may be uncomfortable at times. I think it bothered me due to breast sensitivity that day.
Very pretty bra. I found the 28 a bit tight for me. The 30 is much more comfortable. I measure as a 28 band but I am muscular and fairly lean around the ribs, so I have found they hurt by the end of the day. Straps are a bit wide but it works. Cup may be a tad small but I think F would be too big.
Hello there cakes on a plate. I wish I could try this in a cupsize up but the 30E still works well enough for me to call it a fit. The band seems fairly firm, I usually wear a 28 but the 30 feels right. Overall this is a very pretty and well made bra with enough projection that I don't completely mash the bottom of the cups.
I really wanted to love this bra, but it just wasn't meant to be. There isn't enough projection for me which makes for some wrinkling & folding at the bottom of the cups. The overall look of this bra is fabulous, though. The wider band is comfortable and the cups are sooooo soft.
I got this bra in the process of determining my bra size, so the cups were way too small for me. Bra looks gorgeous, I love the beutiful blue colour that compliments my skin. I also love the contrast between the muted border and the shiny, satiny cups. The design is very flattering. The elastic in the back didn't dig in. The straps could be nicer though, maybe a bit wider and not just plain elastic.
Got this bra in the process of determining my size, an it was waay small in the cups.
The quality of the bra is remarcable - nice smooth fabric, nice finishings (no loose threads, etc.) I loved the design of the bra, it's very elegant and sexy. It's smooth uder the clothes, a real T-shirt bra.
Technically, this bra fits, is fairly supportive and is comfortable to wear. The materials are nice and it looks well-made, too. However, I still don't know what to make of the shape. For some reason it still looks like my breasts are low (which they aren't!), and they stick out much farther than they would in other bras... almost like all my breast tissue is squeezed together to make my breasts stick out as far as possible. One of the other reviewers mentioned 'Madonna boobs' and I guess that's a pretty good description, though not as pointy. I think a prefer a higher and more rounded look over this.
Breast shape: more conical than I'm used to Fabric: a little scratchy Shoulder strap: not a lot of give since it's only partially elastic. I definitely feel it more than I do other straps Underwires: definitely cases me in. They feel a bit narrower than I'm used to. Cup depth: Right cup just fits, or maybe could use a bit more projection even. The left cup definitely needs a cup-sized insert. Even with a half-cup insert, the cup doesn't fill out.

This is a lovely Panache Masquerade bikini (top) in violet, with leaf-like patterns. It is a bandeau-model with straps that go from the center gore to the neck. They have little black "stones" in them.
Sadly this one doesn´t fit me either. The cups are too small, again... There is quadboobing on top and sides and "orange in a glass" with the left cup / breast, as always. So there is definitely no lift. It is not too disturbing, so I intend to wear the bikini anyway.
What is positive is that the 30 band is snug enough. Not the snuggest, but enough. And I usually need a 28. So the band runs small!
I also have a bikini bottom in M, and I find it runs true to size.
It fits quite good in the cups. My left breast is a little bigger, so it seems to be impossible to have a bra with both cups fitting perfectly without extra padding in the right one, but this is a quite good fit on both breasts. The only problem is the band, it is not tight enough. It is good when in the tightest hooks.
I think I would need 28F but since I haven´t found it and this model is not continued, I will keep this one and enjoy it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I will probably alter the band when the band has loosened.
ETA. I altered the band to a 28. After just a few weeks I now see the cups are too small for me, there is quadboobing.
First of all, the Rhea is a beautiful, quality bra. The satin fabric and thick cotton lace make it look very fancy and yet the cup and band support is very firm. Firm enough that I feel like it could stand up as a strapless bra on its own. Although beautiful, the lace created a very obvious edge underneath clothing. And that wouldn't be so bad except the line is very straight across- not plunging or following the shape of the bust. I found it too distracting. Also, I either do not fill it out shape-wise or the cup is too wide at the top edge for me, and the straps are too wide set. The stiffness of the cup makes it gape noticeably and the straps fall off my shoulders. However I feel that if I sized down in the band it would cut me in half. The 30E fits perfectly fastened on the loosest hooks. It is sad to let go such an otherwise quality bra.
I got this bra in 30E from another Bratabase member. I usually wear 28F. As expected, the band is too big so I did an alteration to it. I think the band is true 30.
Masquerade Rhea and Rosetti fit me in the cups in 28F, Rhea is even a little too small, but the cups in Delphi are bigger. The straps are very far almost in the armpits so I decided to move the straps closer, thus it would correct the gaping that was going on in the cups. It did help the gaping but not enough. The most gaping is near the center gore. And the shape of ...the cups got a little distorted by that alteration, I guess that is because the cups feel a bit too big for me, I don´t fill them correctly :/
Otherwise the bra is okay. It feels kind of sturdy and the band is weird, just like in my other Masquerade bras. It doesn´t stretch much at all and feels tight, but still rides up a bit. I don´t get it. Read more 69 more words
