This bra is beautiful, but unfortunately it didn't fit. I wear a 30E in Freya and Fantasie. I have one other bra, the Masquerade Capella, and had to get a 32DD in order for it to fit around my ribcage. I ordered a 32DD in the Amor thinking it would fit the same as the Capella, but I was wrong - I would have likely needed to size up in the cup and the band to a 32E and I'm not convinced it would have fit properly. The main problem with the fit of the 32DD was that it did not properly contain the side tissue of my breasts - I think if the sides had come up higher it would have possibly worked.
The Masquerade Alice Padded Plunge Bra fits perfectly in 30E in Mineral. I sized down after reading reviews. Unfortunately the vertical seaming (one structural vertical seam per cup, stitching visible front and back) makes the padding so stiff that the bra cups don't move with me. This is in contrast to the Masquerade Amor in 30F in Sapphire, which also fits well but does encase me properly no matter what I do. I'm returning this bra and the matching panties, despite the perfect fit in a resting position and the very useful light/medium darkness of the bluish greenish pastel color. It's a gorgeous bra, and the panties are lovely, too. I often have to wear a UK size 8 in panties, but the size 10 seemed to fit well. I only tried them on over my own panties, so I don't know if they would slip down or ride up during actual wear.
I decided to try Rhea in my regular size for a bargain price. I read that this model runs big in the cups and I must confirm that. The cups are very high in my opinion and my full on the bottom breats can't fill the top of the cups because the edge is very open. As the cups are too big and the center gore very high, the underwires dig into sternum. The band is rather tight and not very stretchy, certainly because it's made of a satin material. I also prefer wider bands, this one is narrow and not very stable on my back.
The most gorgeous bra...doesn't fit me. Despite my measurements telling me that I am a 30E and all of my 30DD's being small this bra didn't fit me which leads me to believe that it could run large in the cups. Time to sell I guess :/
It's a lovely bra, and fit okay on the tightest hook, until I broke it in, and it stretched out. (I normally wear a 28f, but this was supposed to run snug in the band, and the 30e was on sale).
I like that the straps are thin- unlike all of my 28 band bras. It's a good option for molded cup bras- the underwires are narrower than Panache's porcelain, and it may work for people who find the deco doesn't work.
The shape that this one gives me is a little more pointed and lower on my chest than I prefer.
I'll have to see how it does once I alter the band.
I've been waiting for the new Antoinette colourway for ages. I love the design of this model and would buy it in every colour!https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I had Antoinette pistacchio in 28ff, which doesn't fit me anymore, but I kept in memory that the band was very tight and firm. This time I tried my "usual" 30e and I think that this size is the best fit. As I expected, the band is just perfect (my underbust measurement is ~66 cm), I wear it on the first or second hook. My only complaint is about the wings which are extremely high, maybe too high ...for this size, and not very comfortable. The cup size is standard in my opinion, but the shape it gives is sligthly different from the previous models, they're more closed on the top and give a more natural shape. The center gore is very high, can be problematic for close-set breast. The straps are unstretchy and made of velvet in front. I definitely prefer stretchy straps because they're much more comfortable. It seems that in the AW2013 model the straps will be changedhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 87 more words
I bought this second hand on a whim, because it was pretty! Totally not the right size for me, though.
It's a very beautiful bra, and it seems very well constructed. My only huge issue that may be a deal breaker if it was the right size is that the straps are way too thin, and the band is too thin as well. It just doesn't feel like it would be very supportive.
