**NOTE: Apparently I’ve tried this exact bra before in the same size but a different colorway (and apparently forgot that I did), and it was not a good fit according to my review. I don’t know if it’s the difference of the colorways or if it maybe fits a little better because my breasts got bigger, but either way the lime/black colorway fit me a little better than the gray.**
Don’t ask my why I got this in a 34HH. I have a feeling I meant to get 36HH.
This bra is nice, but I don’t know how it would fit because I couldn’t fasten the band. I tried ...to see how it would fit by placing my breasts in the cups without the back fastened, and it may have been okay, but definitely not a good fit for me.
I can’t really review on much of the mechanics of the bra since I couldn’t wear it.
UPDATE: I tried this on in the morning time rather than the end of the day, and I was able to get it clasped. I tried the band on upside-down and backwards and the band was the right tightness. The cups could probably be a smidge deeper, the gore doesn’t tack and the bra is very compressing, but I don’t spill out or anything. I also like my sports bras to be compressing? So this one I’m actually keeping after all! Read more 128 more words
My usual size is UK 30E/F, I ordered this in a 32D knowing that this is a full on top style and sized down in the cup trying to accommodate as I am full on bottom. This is wearable for me but ultimately a shape mismatch. The wires and straps are too narrow, and I still have a bit of gaping at the top if I don't adjust frequently and use the j-hook. It serves its function as a sports bra but if anyone knows any that are a bit wider and more suited for full on bottom I would love to know! The padded wires and cushioned straps are great.
My underbust is 26" and I usually wear 28 bands on the tightest hooks. This bra fits well as a normal bra if I wear it on the tightest hooks, but the band isn't tight enough to help a lot with exercise since it doesn't eliminate enough bounce. The straps also don't adjust that much, but they come with a convenient hook to convert them into racerback straps, which is useful for the straps being slightly too long on their own. It's a good bra overall, it just doesn't support me enough for intense activity because I need a 26 band. I can still wear it as a normal bra or for low-impact activities and it's very comfortable that way. The fabric has an enjoyable buttery soft texture.
this thing holds my breasts down like nothing else. excellent sports bra. i think the fit issues i have (gaping at the top) are due to my shape more than wrong sizing. the band is the tightest i own, but it's the first band i ever own that doesn't move around all day.
It's pretty much as advertised: medium-impact bounce control. I can lean over, bend all the way down, stretch, and jump, and so far I haven't fallen out or spilled very much out the top. I haven't used it for real exercise yet in case I needed to return it, but I think it'll work out. The straps are pretty comfortable, although they are definitely on the short side (for obvious reasons, but since they're not adjustable, I could see it being a problem for some people). The J-hook adds even more stability.
I didn't feel very compressed in this bra. I'm not sure yet if that's a plus ...or a minus. I don't like a lot of compression, but since there's essentially one cup (kind of a boob shelf) and no encapsulation, I wonder how it's going to fair over time. It does manage to hold my boobs impressively separate, considering it's a sports bra, but I do expect them to migrate toward the center with real exercise. The band is reasonably snug but not particularly tight, and it's already getting noticeably looser. (My comfortably snug underbust is 33".)
It's a little bulky, but I think that's probably to be expected at this size range. There's a bit of a shape mismatch with my (very projected, narrowish) boobs, but I expect that with no underwire and especially with foam cups, and you don't really want much projection in a sports bra, so I don't mind the slight gaps at the very sides or the very tall cups. So overall I think it'll do the job. Read more 156 more words
Exactly the same feel as my other sports bra looks. Feels good and supportive but it's stad too big and the cups are too wide for me. So going to keep this bra though as it's a good enough fit for workouts! I feel like all sports bras have the same construction and it didn't really fit most people...
Hi maraki, I got this early in my bra journey so was still testing out different sizes :) Back then this was a little too small in the cup and band for me but I hadn't figured out my actual size yet - so not the bra's fault!
Do you measure?I understand you it’s very difficult I try a lot of sizes ,as you can see.I use some calculator and put me inn32HH
maraki At first I used this: https://www.abrathatfits.org/calculator.php, but now I just update my measurements on bratabase every so often. Bra calculators gave me a rough estimate, then it's more research (e.g. bratabase reviews) and trial & error (i.e. trying different sizes). I learnt a lot about chest shape (e.g. FOT, centre full, short roots) and bra styles (e.g. balcony) to find my best/ better fitting bras - bratabase has been super helpful :)
Yes I see but I use boodyboo calculator in inc and lumilingerie in cm. they put me in 32HH I sent pictures to stores for helping but they confused me.I buying what they say I thought it was ok but after that something it’s not right if you see I had trying many sizes I believe that iam ok in this size I hope
maraki I'm glad you've found your size! If a bra doesn't fit quite right and you're unsure what's wrong, you can upload photos here on bratabase and ask for fitting help from other users :) My favourite tip is to, 'scoop and swoop' to help the breasts settle into the bra properly.
For this sports bra, my current best fit is probably 28FF/ 28G, but a few months ago (when I had a little more weight) a 30FF was perfect. My latest bratabase measurements are: Ribcage = 68.5/69.5/70.5 cm and Breast Perimeter 27.0 cm.
It’s very strong i use your calculator and put me 30 HH and J .I feel 30 tight and 32 after use not feel good what I do I don’t know the sister size is not fit same
maraki By 'not feel good', do you mean that the 32HH band feels too loose after wearing? If so, you could try the sister size 30J and use a bra extender until the band loosens up a bit. Black bras tend to run a little tighter/ smaller so might also be something to take into consideration.
I buy again 30 J to give a try I think you made wrong with your measurements 27 your bust ? I think 28 G you must try it
maraki Good luck, hope it works out for you! I have one 28G Panache Sports bra which fits quite well, I think a 28FF could fit even better - will have to try :)
You are like me we are confused a lot with sizes when I get I write it 30J
I've tried three different sizes of Panache Sports now. Though none of them have been quite right, I still love them. They are comfortable and functional. What I like about this one, which does fit*, is that nothing digs in while I exercise, and it keeps my cleavage fairly minimal.
*Consider sizing up a band size! I do a lot of upper body work (hanging) and I think I'd prefer it a little less tight for this high intensity environment where my shoulders are moving around a lot. Lately I prefer having this bra in my normal rotation and not my exercise rotation. Next Sport I try will be a 34D.
This was the last of 3 sports bras that I tried on today. I am not a fan of this sports bra because of the way it fit me. I do not do well with molded cups by any means.
First of all, the cups are too wide and separated. Definitely an East-West issue, although not as bad as the Freya Epic sports bra I also tried. My boobs don’t fill the cups in this one, there’s a lot of space up top and in the center because of the way the stupid cups are oriented. Definitely a no-go for me, which bums me out because I know these bras are highly talked about as being a favorite!
This is the only bra I've found that works for running (no bouncing or chafing!) but it cuts into my armpits a tiny bit more than I'd like. Still my default sports bra though.
This bra does a really good job of holding everything in place (almost no bouncing!) but unfortunately the band is just a tad too loose, and about 2 miles into my runs the gore really starts chafing. For regular bras a 30 band works for me as a sister size, but for high impact activities it's just not right
The band fits snugly. Ergonomic contour on the straps which is effective for any sport where arms go overhead. I believe this bra is two cups too small, so there is some spillage at the side. This size does not minimise cleavage for me. I have owned a few Panache Sports and am a fan when they are the right size!
Panache Sports are comfortable and effective. You can throw high levels of activity at them and they'll rock along with you. There's no cleavage for me in this bra which I appreciate. Great shape too.
Yep, that has happened to me also. I started wearing the bra with an extender so there was not much damage.
Between the amount of space in a home with no yard and my disinterest in engaging in regular running, I'm glad I got a small dog. :P For exercise I actually have stuck with the same ballet barre stuff I was doing back when I took ballet classes and pilates (without the apparatus/machines some pilates involves...) and fast pace walking. My dog doesn't seem to mind the part she gets included in though. :) I am still trying to find a sports bra that I like and don't feel like I'm putting on a straight jacket.
Fairy79 - Thanks! I'm glad I'm not alone. It was really unexpected - I've worn and tried on and owned so many bras and this is a first.
valentine556 - Hah! I actually had zero interest in running until I realised my dog is happiest when we're doing it together. I let her off the leash in empty fields and parks and she goes FAST. Her muscles ripple in the wind. Hope you succeed on your quest! I usually find the opposite - most sports bras I try are too loose. Which is why the loose eyes are so bewildering, because the Panache is a perfect comfortable snugness.
As you may have noticed from her picture that's currently my avatar, my dog isn't built for fast or extended running. But she does look hilariously adorable going down the stairs at her top speed, usually with her rawhide chew bone in her mouth (she's got a badonk-a-donk booty). I'm also unsure that if I let her off leash, she's stay out of trouble - if it was an empty field with high grass I'd be worried she'd have difficulty finding her way back to me from whatever point she'd quit trotting onwards at.
Love this bra! I hope I still love it after I wear it. I also ordered a neon reptile 7341a in 30F, and that one doesn't hold as firmly. You know why? The elastic under the cups is actually wider on the 30FF. The 30F is close to .5, and the 30FF is .75!! Also, be aware that the straps don't adjust THAT long. There is a J-hook, but heck if I know how to get that thing hooked behind my back.
I like this bra, and it seems to fit. I also ordered a purple/coral in 30FF, and that one holds me more firmly. You know why? The elastic under the cups is actually wider on the 30FF. The 30F is close to .5, and the 30FF is .75!! Be aware that the straps don't adjust THAT long. There is a J-hook, but heck if I know how to get that thing hooked behind my back.
Very nice colour but is small in cups and in band try 36HH
