I am really happy with this bra! Throughout this year I have tried so many bras with very little success and then this month I have finally found a couple of styles that seem to work for me.
The fact that this is more of a full cup style than Balconette seems to really work for me, and I wish there were more styles like this in my size, yet it seems in 28 most styles are Balconette.
The band seems a really good fit for me, nice and snug. The cup is maybe a fraction small but not enough to worry me as it is only ...a fraction plus the stretch lace helps as it isn't too rigid. Another good thing is the straps are fully adjustable, although I don't even need to use all the length available. I only have the straps tightened a few inches. Also the wires seem perfect, and not quite as wide as some panache/Cleo styles.
Also whilst it is considered full cup I don't actually find that it is that high, no more so than lots of Balconette styles. It is more that the cut/shape/structure is a bit different to Balconette styles, not so much that it is lots higher.. Although it is higher/fuller at the front, ie between the breasts (hope this makes sense?)
The shape is good, although not as round as some styles, so I might not wear it under some tops that are really clingy.
I have worn it a few times now and find it comfy and supportive.
The style is quite simple so some may find it a bit plain compared to all the interesting patterns and contrasting colours that are now available, but I actually really like the look and find it simple and elegant.
So pleased that this comes in lots of other colours too as I plan to get it in more colours!
As I have had this a while I wanted to update my comments. I find I don't wear this as often as I thought I would when I first bought this, as I don't find the cup very supportive. It is ok, but I prefer lots of support. It is not a bra I would want to be wearing if I had to run for the bus or anything! Read more 282 more words
My new favorite bra! This bra is true to size. The bra gives a nice breast shape. The band is super stretchy which is why it's so comfortable on me. The tip of the wire on the gore pokes me but I think it's because I have a lack of cushion in that area.
The smallish center gore is good for those who don't have a lot of space there. I can't say how supportive it is, since it's too big for me--I recently got a 30G Deco strapless, and that works much better. The cups are flattish/empty at the bottom on me, but otherwise seemed like a plausible fit at the time. Aside from the wrong size, I'm not really a fan of the shape it produces, very bland, at least with my natural shape. It's also nude, and I realized that since most of my dresses are black, it would make more sense to have a black bra to blend in. I think it would work great for someone who likes the Panache shape, and in the right size.
Great fit and along with Cleo Lucy, this is my favorite bra. I find it runs about a cup size small. I could also fit into a 30HH (I wear 30H or 30HH in Lucy) but the 30J is an easier fit for me.
I love this bra. It's super comfortable and gives me a rounded, but still natural looking, shape. The band construction with the elastic under the wires is slightly problematic, as the elastic will roll under the wire. I wish it didn't, but it's not a deal breaker.
I wish this bra came up a bit higher under the arms. I don't feel like it holds my side boob as well as I would like. The fabric on this bra is slightly stretchy, which I think makes it more forgiving fit wise.
This bra is just a tad bit small/snug on me. I do like the shape it gives me, which is pretty natural. I happily wear the bra despite its fit issues, but I'd probably pick another size if I bought it again.
I bought this knowing it might be a cup too small but I thought I'd try it anyways. Unfortunately, the cups are too narrow and deep for me. The wires are sitting on tissue and there is empty space in the center of the cup. I'm not sure a size up would fit better or not.
It is a very pretty, unpadded bra. The ocean blue color is amazing and the design is very nice. It has silky straps in the Luxe version.
EDIT: The recommendation thingy says this bra is suited for people with close boobs. No way in heck. XD
The wires are too wide for me, and this causes quadboobing and empty space at the bottom (At least, I think that's what's at fault). I took the gore in and this took care of the quadboobing, however, I still have a space at the bottom of the cups. I am pretty sure I am not wearing the bra too low, since when I take the bra off, the underwire marks sit almost on my bra tissue (possibly on the breast, but I'm not sure where normal underwire marks are supposed to sit yet. Also, the underwire is MURDER on my ribcage.
This bra is for someone a bit more wide-set than me. Possibly, if this bra was made in my size (24F) it might actually have a better fit. Such a shame, it's a really pretty bra too.
This bra fits everywhere well, but for some reason it wrinkles at the nipple area, but it's fine at the top and side. Still can't figure out why. It's a really comfortable bra, and the colours are really nice. I'm not a fan of patterned straps, so I'm glad that it's just a nice plain cream.
I've tried on this bra three times now, and each time it fits me differently. I guess this is normal, but it makes it difficult to decide if I want to keep it or not.
First try gave me a weird shape on larger boob. It cut in on the top of the cup? It looked super awkward. Second try fit better. It wasn't perfect, but it didn't have as much of the awkwardness of the first try. This third try gives me the best look so far. There doesn't seem to be any cutting in on my larger side. The smaller side is still too large (was for ...all three tries) and it looks kind of empty on that side.
The band is a bit loose and would need to be taken in to fit best. But I don't know what that would do to the cups and how they fit me, and I know this bra doesn't look good when the cups are too small.
I'm also not entirely convinced on the overall shape given by this bra. It's kind of pointy and not in a way that's flattering, at least to my eyes.
Overall, the bra is comfortable. The cups are just fabric with some mesh on the inside and lace along the edge. The straps are fully adjustable. I picked the teal color, which is just lovely. Read more 122 more words
Theres a very large metal circle attaching the strap that sits on my left shoulder (clearly my most droopy side) this is painful after a few hours. I constant skoosk it back up to my root as never stays in place Also looks like a granny bra.
This bra is utterly gorgeous unclothed but under clothes the embroidery is quite prominent. The cups are super shallow at bottom. Taking in the gore helped overall with wrinkling at the bottom as well as creating more space in the cups, but I'm still quadboobing. I think 1 or 2 cups bigger would fit much better on me as well as providing more coverage at the top.
The underwires are not particularly wide when unworn, but they bend wider as the band stretches.
Also, this was on my recommendations under poor, which are the only ones I have.
Overall, I like this bra quite a lot, but I definitely need larger cups.
Aside from the lace used for the cup the Tango II Balconette (3251) and the Tango II Two Tone Balconette (5061) are exactly the same bra.
The Tango II Two Tone was a variant of the normal Tango II that was brought out every once in a while. Like a seasonal colour, with the difference that they used slighty different lace too. The last Tango II Two Tone I am aware of was the teal/mint variety from AW 2009. Other older variants are black/white and pink/ivory.
The embroidery of the Two Tone is almost flat and a lot less lumpy than the embroidery on the regular Tango, thus it is less visible under thin t-shirts
I added a picture that compares the lace of the normal Tango II with the lace of the Tango II Two Tone.
Sad to say, I can't seem to find a good fit in this bra. The straps are not at all comfortable. Because they are thin (not in width, as they are 3/4 inches wide, but in actual thickness) and quite stretchy, they tended to roll like a taco and cut into my shoulders, even when not pulled very tight and only after a few minutes of trying on/wearing. The 36 band was too tight, the 38 too loose.
The cup on the 36J was too small, but the wires too wide, so sizing up does not seem to be a suitable option.
I could NOT ...get the wire to stay in my breast crease, even with the crazy tight band, it kept wanting to slide down. This is a problem with EVERY bra and I end up hiking them up under my breasts several times a day because it drives me crazy.
I am wondering if 2 very large coconuts and some rope might be more practical than a bra for my breast shape. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":-D" /> Read more 79 more words
The molded cups give great support in this size, which is the max cup size this bra goes to. Cupsize is on the verge of being too small, but does give a smooth top line on my very low sitting boobs.
This bra is awesome! I think I finally found the right size in Panache. The bra is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous sheer lace and embroidery. The band is very stretchy, but stays in place firmly and comfortably. No poking or scratching anywhere.
