This bra looks very nice, but the lace in the band and where the underwires hit my sternum are both really itchy.
UPDATE 2/10/12: Now that I am more used to wearing my correct size, the band on this bra is clearly too big to be supportive, and the design of the top of the cups either means I need to size up, or that this bra isn't good for my shape. It's too bad, because this is a really pretty bra.
Then you can most likely also forget about Panache Ariza, Panache Saffron and Panache Fern in this size because these bras all have a very similar cut to the Fiesta. Most likely this also eliminates Panache Paloma and Panache Venus.
Thanks for all the details regarding Panache. That's going to save me a lot of wasted time ordering/trying stuff on.
BTW, the problem is the lace is sewn tightly into the fabric of the cup, which pulls the top of the cup in. I didn't see that type of edging in some of the ones you listed. I did see that in the Fern, also the Cleo Rita, Poppy, Sadie bras. !!! So frustrating that I can't just walk into a store and try them on.
The Cleo Rita, Poppy and Sadie bras are halfcups (demi-bras), if you got quadboob with them and the back rides up you need a different size (30 FF/G maybe?). You cannot blame that on the cut or the lace cutting in and the cup being too closed for you.
I have the same lace problem with bras that otherwise should fit. I have gained two cup sizes from pushups over the years, and my pecs make it harder for me to wear some bras. I use the term quadraboob, but actually the top of the cup gently presses into my chest. Some styles just aren't good for me, no bra is perfect for everyone. The problem I was describing with the Fiesta occurred when I was a 32E as well as now when I'm a 30F. I think there are definitely bras where the cups come in closer towards the chest. My measurements are 30/37, I'm definitely not a G, and the two FFs I have are a little big in the cup, but they were on sale...
Well, if you are full on top (whether due to big pectorial muscles or by gift of boobfairy) it is normal that you might have problems with the lace cutting in with many bras. However halfcups are supposed to solve that, so it doesn't make any sense to me that you might have those problems with Cleo Poppy/Rita/Sadie/Martha etc too. The only explanation I have is a too small cupsize.
I don't like the shape this gives me, it's a little too "pointy", and once again my boobs are too plump on top, and the fabric cuts into my chest. The straps did start losing their shape after a few months of wear.
I honestly can't decide how I feel about this bra. It's a decent fit, but the cups seem to be too big (they can be a bit wrinkly) and too small (boob escaping on the sides!) at once, which probably points to them just being the wrong shape for me. The fabric is kind of itchy but might get better with washing.
It did fit nicely, them the material on the cup crumpled. Its a weird material.... But i wear it because it is one of the only ones i have that are not too small.
