Fits well and is very comfortable. My boobs are a little flat and into my armpits with this but otherwise not bad. Shape is good. Not too pointy and quite rounded. I could go with a tighter band I think so I just ordered the 32GG to compare. Will update this when I do.
I bought this after purchasing the Floris, a similar cut, which I love. Everyone says this, but I'll corroborate that this bra is less supportive because the fabric is soft, the upper cups (already generous) have stretch and even the lower cups are a stretch fabric overlaid on a thin layer of bias-cut mesh. I got the Jade colourway because I couldn't find the pale pink anywhere. I think I'd have preferred the pink but the Jade is a really nice, jewel-toned teal (as blue as it is green). I don't like this as much as the Floris because the support and shape just aren't comparable to the ...Floris, but this bra is still really nice - it fits and it's wearable. There is, however, more notable gap between my upper breast and the cup on my less full side because this fabric doesn't have the same sort of substance as that used to make the Floris. Also, the upper cup is cut very straight along the edge that touches the upper breast. I don't find that line as attractive as a curved upper cup.
Haven't yet received the undies (ordered those too) but I suspect they're going to be extremely flattering and comfortable, just based on the bra fabric. Note: I generally find that Panache/Cleo undies fit really snug because the bra-matched fabric generally has no stretch. I'd def buy this again (if I could find the pink, particularly). I might size down in the cup and/or band to achieve a snugger fit. (Would try 32G.) Read more 149 more words
I really love this bra. Bought the Aurora colourway last week and it fit so fantastically that I had to buy another. While I don't like white lingerie, the background colour on this is more ecru and the colourful floral just works. The white/floral fits a bit bigger than the Aurora, which doesn't surprise me because dark dye tends to inhibit fabric ease (and results in a snugger fit). If I could change one thing about this bra it would be to make the upper cup just a smidge less open on my less full side but if I went down a size, I suspect I'd be pillowing ...slightly on the fuller side. It's not observable under clothing - or even when clothing isn't on if the smaller size is well positioned in the cup. It's a challenge I can live with.
Have to say, as I have staunchly avoided all Panaches (including Cleo) for quite some time now because the firm wires and tight bands are just painful (even with an extender). But the Floris is unlike the other Panaches I've tried (Jasmine, Envy, pretty well every Cleo etc.) It's actually SUPER comfortable, even after a long day. The band is comfortable, the wires (while very firm) are totally pleasant. The gore doesn't dig, but tacks. Really, though, this shape is perfect for my highly projected breasts. The boobs are front and centre, totally lifted and incredibly supported. If you're on the fence, try this bra. Note, though: The band is snug for size and the cups are very projected. This bra is quite lovely in a sort of outerspace / galaxy way. The lace is gorgeous. The navy power mesh band is seriously firm. Size up. The cups are pretty deep and the construction is very uplifting. Great looking bra. Just hope it proves to be comfortable because I find Panache wires can be seriously painful
This is the prettiest bra I've ever bought. I impulse bought it -- the first of my, "Hey, it's time to buy new bras," revelation this month -- because the picture was gorgeous and the bra didn't disappoint. It's mostly comfortable; I wore it all day, and the only problem I had was that the gore pressed in a bit tight. Worth it, though. I cannot wait to show all of my friends.
That said, I totally ignored that it was a plunge bra when I bought it, and I shouldn't have. This one isn't as bad as the 36G plunge I bought last year in terms of breast tissue escaping, but I still get a quad boob because my breast tissue is so soft and prone to escape. It wasn't noticeable under a shirt, so I'm not super worried about it. All the same, I need to be more aware of that when I'm buying bras.
I probably could have gone down a band size in this one, but it still fits well. The lace send a bit delicate, not sure how it will hold up. Stretchy lace helps create a smooth cup. Lace isnt very visible under shirts. Fits very similarly to ChantelleRive Gauche. Side support can create a word side shape, but it isn't visible when wearing clothes.
My experience with this bra has been weird. It is VERY tight in the band for a 34 and runs more like a 30 or tight 32. The gore and the top of the cups fit me perfectly, but the upper sides of the cups near my armpits seem loose: I get a strange bulge in that area that no one looking at me can see. I can only see it because I am looking down at my breasts' profile. It annoys the hell out of me but the fit is overall good so here I am, keeping it. Also, the cups are extraordinarily wide on me, but not uncomfortable, so I don't really care. My rib flares cause the lace on the band to flip up under my inframammary fold. Does anyone have any experience with this bra? Is it possible I just got a poorly sewn one? It almost seems like it is trying to minimize my breasts at the peak and instead creates weird boob-pockets under my arms.
Out of curiosity, which color did you try? I have one in the lemonade shade, new to SS15, in a size 32GG, and the band is tighter than I prefer, but nothing that likely won't be alleviated after some wash and wears. However, I just tried the powder colorway (an ashy light pink), and I couldn't even get the hooks and eyes to meet! It was tight -- like a 28 or 30 band size tight. I'm wondering if you have the same colorway, and there must just be something way off with that colorway in particular.
The Andorra was a fail for me for the same fit reasons you describe. I haven't tried one in a while, but I'd previously had ivory and blush colorways. I also couldn't get the damn things to stop stabbing me in the armpits.
ginganinja , I have it in red! I wonder what the deal is with the drastic differences in sizing... ? So weird.
@Lynn, I don't get what the deal is with it! I am thinking I might not keep it but I DO love the way my cleavage looks in it - something about the narrowness of the gore combined with the lace top of the cups. Know of any bras that would share that similarity without the weirdness?
This one seems to be too shallow on the bottom, but then too open on top for me. So it's just a shape mismatch for me. One of the cups got a little wacky though, like bent oddly but that's probably just this specific bra and how it was shipped.
The bottom of the cups are pretty shallow which causes the bra to slide down a little.
The cups are a little tall and on the verge of cutting into my underarm, but luckily they're pretty soft and not a problem. It helps keep my tail of spence bulge under control.
The 34G has a lot of excess fabric bubbles, but it's not at all noticeable under shirts.
Gives a somewhat separated, minimized look.
None of these are things I consider a problem as the bra is still comfortable. The 34FF was just a little too small in the cup and the straps didn't adjust long enough to help with that, so I'll probably stick with the 34G
Feels empty on top. Band is also fairly loose. Top of the gore pokes into my sternum, despite my efforts to bend it out - if I adjust the bra at all after I've put it on, it really starts to dig in.
I love this bra so much. it so fit me . its a beautiful bra. This style and way of stitching i didn't see before. My breast feel so good in this bra. I have some issue with underwires.they are a bit big for me. They diggin a bit in my arm pit some it. its lace is cute. i love it.. well the most imp things is comfy thing. that i al get here in this bra....
I don't like this bra. I find it gives me a pointy shape and splays my breasts outward. I've fit comfortably in others of the same size, but the gore doesn't tack for me and it just feels off... I won't be keeping it
This was a hard bra to figure out. The band was too tight at first but with a few days of wear it stretched out enough to be comfortable. I had some problems with the wires poking and the gore being too high and poking at the top the first time I wore it, but I gave it a second try a few days later and had few problems. Now it seems to fit very well, although the gore is still a bit taller than I would prefer.
Wonderful bra. Great shape under clothes, lots of lift and projection, gotta love the stretch lace! The Champagne Pink colourway is even a pretty good nude on me.
I feel this to be my best fitting bra at the moment, however I wouldn't say it fits. From what I can surmise thus far, I'm a 35 G+ in Panache. The first 4 times I wore it the band was incredibly tight, not so tight I couldn't get 2 fingers underneath, but definitely tight. I did however feel like a new person because my enormous yayas were no longer pulling my shoulders forward. Biggest issue is poking underwires at the sternum. Is the band too tight? The cups too small? It gets uncomfortable after 8 to 10 hours and I am so glad to get it off, ...but so glad when I get to put it on another day. It's also a little itchy. Under some tops the lacey three piece thing shows through along with nipples (if it's cold), but a cami should fix that and it does give a nice shape. I feel the wires on this bra are perfect for me right now. My nipples fall exactly into place and stay put. I feel so snug and secure (minus the sternum poking factor). I have some small side boob leaking under the arm on my larger side, but the cups are nice and high so it's not bad. I also like that's it's not super stretchy in the band. We'll see how it wears. I think I've had it for about 3 weeks and worn it about 6 times.
UPDATE: Nope, too small now. Read more 141 more words
I really like this bra looks-wise. It's frilly, something that you don't always get in the 'bigger' sizes. I did notice that after wearing it for a few hours it irritated me some around the band, but I think it's just because it's brand new. I imagine once it stretches some, it will be fine because it's not that bad now. I did however have to slightly bend the underwires on the sides (under my arms) out a tad, because they were really poking into me. I'm not normally one to bend wires, but I was careful about it and only a slight amount.
Be aware that it is very thin - just a layer of lace, so it's sheer and the cups aren't super supportive. Still, I would purchase this bra again - in a different color.
Satin molded cup strapless (with removable straps) and sticky stuff on tops and bottoms of only the band/back.
This almost fits. The projection is fine. Problem is, the cup apex is way too high and causes the fold in the bottom of the cup where the extra cup height ends up getting taken up.
One good thing: lower center gore. Some might consider it a plunge.
I love the Tango II plunge, but this one is 2-3 sizes too small for me. That's my fault tho, for buying the wrong size.
I love the cherry color and the leaf details. I wish it came with 3 hooks at the back instead of 2, in any size. I have one that is a 34H that fits wonderfully, but the band doesn't feel wide enough.
They made a change in the construction of the Tango II plunge a while back and narrowed the straps as well - i wish they hadn't. These new thinner straps don't stay where i put them and i have to constantly readjust throughout the day/night, especially if i am out dancing.
