I love the Tango II plunge, but this one is 2-3 sizes too small for me. That's my fault tho, for buying the wrong size.
I love the eggplant color and the leaf details. I wish it came with 3 hooks at the back instead of 2, in any size. I have one that is a 34H that fits wonderfully, but the band doesn't feel wide enough.
They made a change in the construction of the Tango II plunge a while back and narrowed the straps as well - i wish they hadn't. These new thinner straps don't stay where i put them and i have to constantly readjust throughout the day/night, especially if i am out dancing.
I feel that I can't accurately review this bra as it is the first properly fitting bra I have worn in a long time and the style is different than I am used to. A critique would be unfair as I am getting used to a whole different feel.
Had to bend the underwire at the gore away from the sternum because it was too tall. The wires are a bit too narrow for me. The straps are too far apart in front - I've been cut a couple times by the side of the strap attachment in my armpit. Took a few weeks to soften up, and the fabric has stayed itchy, particularly the backing used on the underwires.
Finally a pretty nursing bra. I don't know if a larger cup size would have allowed the gore to lay flat or if the lack of underwire prevents this. It is comfortable, the band does not dig in but also does not move. Straps don't fall down. Seems to fit my style of boob well. Daily wear and many feedings and washes have not had it stretch out or start to feel any different.
Just got this. I have a very little bit of spillage under the arm on my larger breast, but the wires are perfect, and I'm not spilling out the top. I like the side cup support on this.
I freaking love this bra. I'm having less armpit spillage as I experience re-migration.
I bought this basque as an alternative to wearing a strapless bra under certain tops. I wish that the bottom came down a bit longer to avoid that muffin top effect. My only real complaint is that in typical Panache fashion, the wires are too tall for me and poke me int he armpit. I love the look of the lace over the satin. It also came with straps to wear as a halter or regular style.
I like this bra in theory. It's pretty and supportive, but the center gore wires dig into my sternum like crazy. The wires might come up too high on the sides too, but I'm really not sure. Just getting into this proper bra size thing.
I'm still figuring out my bra size (got this in 34G), but in this style I know I need to go up at least a cup. I'll likely post a fit request and link it here. I get a quadboob when I scoop and swoop, and it tends to spill toward the center. I'm guessing the center spillage is due to the cut of the bra and the less-forgiving-than-lace nature of the fabric? The band fits fine- it's quite snug, but I like the secure feeling. I'm sure it would stretch in a week or so. I measure a 33.5 rib, so going up in the band makes ...it feel too big (even when I go down a cup). I'm also thinking that when I go up a cup size it will give me just the right amount of relief in the band. I'll likely trade or sell this bra, as it really does me little good due to the quadboob effect.
The wire does poke into my underarm when I move certain ways, but only on my bigger boob side (left boob is slightly larger than my right).
When I tuck my boobs a lot it ooks great, but I guess I shouldn't have to tuck for that effect. : )
So there is a slightly-noticeable-under-a-knit-top quadboob that happens when I scoop an' swoop, which is fixed by minor shifting yet only temporarily. It took me a while to notice that there is wrinkling at the bottom of the cup (like an unoccupied sliver of kinda collapsed cup space) as I can't really see that portion of my boob. I had to know to look for it. : ) There is also a bit of wrinkling on the sides in the band section right next to the bottom of the cup. I'm not sure if this is due to the cup being too small by overall volume, or ...if it is just too wide and shallow. I am leaning towards the latter in this case.
The band fits nicely and the wires don't poke at all. I don't notice the quadboob when I put on a low cut top, plus it looks excellent top less after the minor shifting.
It also seems as if the bra may shift downward throughout the day when I wear it. I'm not sure what's up with that, cause the band is definitely snug on the loosest hook.
I'm still new to sizing so I'm not entirely sure how to compensate for the things that [should] bug me about it. I'm sure I will keep it though cause I love how it looks and fits, even though it isn't perfect. I'm looking forward to wearing it to bed, if you catch my drift. ; )
Unfortunately this bra does not fit me at all, I think the cups are too small but also the shape is wrong for me. It is very pretty though and the materials are nice.
I am so close to finding the perfect bra here that I can taste it. Do read on to see if this will help you.
Likes: * Cups fit well * Straps aren't too wide (relatively speaking, I have trouble with this on all bras, but this one wasn't too bad). It didn't rub on my armpit nearly as much as many other bras do, so I'm counting this as a win.
Dislikes: * Center gore is at least 1" too tall compared to other more comfortable center gores. * I hate bras with only two hooks--why do they do this?! I bet even an A cup would prefer bras that have 3 hooks! * ...I am not a full-coverage bra kind of girl--on me, unless I'm wearing a turtleneck, the bra shows in the neckline of blouses. I'm petite and narrow across the chest though, so it comes with the territory. That's OK, because this was a trial run to see if this brand worked for me, and I think it will once I find the ideal style. * The band is pretty stretchy. I could probably easily pull off a 32GG in this bra, though it might be harder to fasten in the front and turn it around (my method of putting on bras). I need the tightest hooks to feel fully supported.
I know that the "dislikes" outnumber the likes, but I'm nitpicky because I think it's helpful to others to be that way. I would wear this bra if the center gores didn't dig, and in fact am thinking about giving the plunge version a try next if it fits exactly the same as this one does other than the center gore. It's a nice looking bra but cups are way too small for me. It's got quite thin straps, which aren't my faourite and only 2 rows of hooks. I feel more supported with 3 . I'm not wearing it so it's hard to desribe more.
