The cups have I guess what they call a sling on the outer lower part, which I think is there for support, but it's much tighter than the outer cup fabric. It's a separate piece of stiffer fabric, so it leaves a weird gap on the cup itself. The lace itself is gorgeous, but there seems to be some irregularities with the stitching where it attaches.
30H is US size. It is primarily labelled and sold as UK 30FF.
Band slightly too large. Gaping at entire top of cup - slightly helped by tightening straps but then digs into my armpits. Wires too narrow and sit on on tissue. Feels like there is empty space at the bottom of the cup. This might be due to the "orange in a glass" effect, being too large a size, or both. I tend to either be a 30F or 30FF and they didn't have the 30F.
I wasn't sure I'd like the style, but it was recommended, so I tried it. In person, I actually like the black vertical lines on the outside. This was the first moulded cup I tried on my new bra fit journey and was disappointed it didn't fit.
I don't usually like white bras, but this was an incredible deal, and I like the pattern, so I tried it.
It measures as too big for me depth-wise, and height-wise, and I can't fill the top. I also am not full on top, so I'm not sure if going down a size would work.
The gore almost fits between my close-set breasts! So that's exciting news.....
This bra is not the right fit for me. I have no idea how the fit is so wrong when I had a professional helping me. But, It is so comfy. I am super pleased to have a bralette that is cup and band sized not just small, medium, large. It is very soft all over. It is also lightly long line.
Who thought up the lacey triangles on the straps? They cut into your armpits terribly. Overall, it's a good bra, fits well aside from some overflow on top. I haven't decided if I'll try to move the straps or just cut them off.
This bra is soft and the ruby colour is beautiful. I had some fit issues in this bra. The cup comes up under my tail of spence and the lace there rubs my skin because the cups are a bit tall for me. The wires are too wide for me, and did not sit in my IMF, and I had some troubles at the bottom of the cup (a gap). I really like this bra though, and I may still wear it for a bit until I get a better fitting bra. I do like the round cleavage that it creates and how soft the bra is (besides the area under my tail of spence). The band feels like it holds me in snug, and I do like the tall wings.
Almost perfect! This bra is very comfortable! Which is a bit of a shock given how sexy it is! The band is just a tiny bit too tight I'm going to try an extender, I think that'll solve the tightness. Despite having more tissue above my nipple line it is much more shallow that my lower breast tissue. So I was kind of surprised when I filled this out once I scooped a swooped but the lace at the top has no stabilizer or elastic and given my lack of projection on top I may take the lace in just a touch on the sides to make it a perfect fit! Overall I'm very pleased with this bra !
I am so happy to have found this bra. In terms of shape, it's the best fitting bra I've found. It feels like it automatically adjusts to my movements and was made for my size. Hooray!
The only issue I have with this bra is the seaming - it's going to be a little difficult finding things I can wear over it without layering, but it's still a gorgeous bra. I would absolutely recommend this bra if you're searching for a 3-part half cup bra that isn't from Poland.
I wanted to love this bra, but the cup runs too small...But with that being said, 30FF isn't my regular size. 30G was out of stock and I don't see a 28/30GG or 28H (my regular size) so I thought maybe a 30FF will work too. However, it felt like as if I was trying on a 30E or something, so I'm sure that a 30G won't fit either so I didn't bother to purchase it. I really like how it looks and how there are silicone for slip prevention. But this is just not the bra for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Will be given away the 30FF.
This bra is very very pretty, but something about how the underwires are shaped cuts into me on the outer side of my ribs. They are very stiff, as are the cups, and the straps are a bit wide set, but not terribly so. It seems like I have to pull the underwires up pretty high so that the bottom of my breasts fills the cup, and then they hurt on my ribs. I also seem to be nearly falling out the middle while not filling the top, especially if my posture isn't perfect and I let my shoulders come forward a bit. It may just be the wrong shape for me. One other thing- the wires are too short for the channels. I had to push down on them on the sides to have it fill the gore. This may be why they hurt my ribs, the shape isn't quite right.
I like Casey https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I tried this along with Jeanie (my review for that one is here http://bra.pe/XRj1/) and this is definitely my favorite of the two. In terms of appearance, Casey is a pretty plain bra, but it does have the (not-fully-attached) lace at the sides/bottom of the cup to give it a little more appeal. I tried it on under a very thin cami yesterday and didn't notice the lace, so I'm expecting that it won't be a problem under my regular shirts. The bra fits comfortably, and the leotard back means these straps work much better for ...me than Jeanie's straps. The band is comfortable, not too loose or too tight, and the cups are fine, no gaping or quadding anywhere. It's not padded, really, but it does provide a nice boost without flattening or squishing, and the shape is nice, not conical, but also not super round.
I've seen a lot of people comparing this to the Freya Deco, either recommending it in addition to the Deco or as an alternative to the Deco. I'd recommend it as a Deco alternative--alternative as in, "I want something that looks like a Deco without the Deco's problems". I have never met a Deco that I've liked enough to keep. They're too shallow and rounded for my FOB, self supporting breasts, the apex of the cup (where it projects the most) is usually too high for me, and the cups themselves are too tall and cause major gaping in my regular size, and squishing and quadding if I size down. I have no such issues with Casey and that makes me very happy.
My one qualm with this bra is that, similar to Jeanie but not quite as bad, there's too much coverage (in my opinion) for a deep plunge. The inside edge of the cups is simply too high to be worn under my deep v-neck tops, which is a problem, since that's what I bought it for. I think I might keep it anyway, though; it's pretty, it's comfortable, it does give a nice shape and good boost, and it was inexpensive (hooray!), and also because I think it would make a great alternative for my Cleo Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7201) since it's a lot less visible under my thinner shirts (because of the way the cups are shaped on Maddie, I tend to get visible lines at the tops of the cups). I'll probably have to look elsewhere for a true plunge bra, though.
Update: As much as I liked this bra, I ended up returning it solely because of the coverage issue. I kept finding more and more shirts that it just didn't work under, so I felt like it would have been a waste to keep it and just have it sitting around most of the time. I would definitely still recommend it to others who don't mind a little more coverage, though. Read more 391 more words
The cups run a bit small, so there is some quad-boobing. That wasn't the biggest problem for me though. The straps have a ring at the top of the shoulders, connecting the adjustable part to the front strap, and the ring digs into the top of my shoulders, eventually becoming uncomfortable. I like the look of it though, and wish it fit just a little better.
Hello :) what about the band? Is it snug? Or is it like normal Parfait bands? thank you
I have one other Parfait bra and it fits like that one; they both seem pretty snug at first, but then I'm able to move to the second row of hooks after about a week.
The Parfait line stops at a G cup, so this bra is not listed properly for the size. I'm guessing this should be listed as a 30FF not an H.
