This bra definitely needs more upper fullness than I have. I fill out the bottom quite well, even possibly overfill, but there is a lot of extra fabric and wrinkling in the top. The band is very firm and the straps are wide.
The bra is very pretty and made in an unusual color combination. The underlayer is a true pink and the overlayer is a mint green lace. The band, straps and even the hardware are also mint green. There are tiny pink bows adorning the straps and the gore.
Like most bras with molded cups this bra is very stuctured in that it creates shape. However, if you have very little breast tissue on top like me, you may find this to be an issue. There was a fair bit of gaping at the top and in the part of the cups closest to the centre gore, especially when I sat down. Other than that, and the fact that the straps seemed a little too far apart (I have boney but not particularly narrow or wide shoulders) it was quite comfortable.
It did not dig in at the back and it fit my underbust in a comfortably snug ...way.
I would keep it in fact, if it wasn't for the feeling of digging in that I mainly experienced on my right side around the point where my rib cage curves around to the back. This happened after wearing it around the house for about 2 hours. I think this might mean the cups are too wide for me. This may also be less of a problem for someone with my measurements but a less boney underbust area. However, the centre gore was not a problem at all in terms of digging in.
I believe slightly more breast tissue on top, a more cushioney rib cage area as well as wider roots would make this an excellent fit. Read more 117 more words
Pros: -Has silicone around edge of band to help keep bra in place -Straps are removable or multiway -Color matches my skin pretty well -The wide band helps it stay up well -The flower on the gore is cute -The wires aren't terribly wide Cons: -The cups are a little shallow/run a little small -The gore is wide and doesn't tack at all -The band runs a little loose (probably not enough to size down unless you're in between sizes)
The center gore runs very high and the bra has problems to seperate my close and projected boobs. The bra is also very shallow and has has narrow wires forming an U. Unfortunately it runs quite high under the arm. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful bra!
I was originally attracted to this bikini because it reminded me of my Freya Flourish Padded Longline Bra (1543) in black. It's very pretty in person and there are subtle details like the frills at the edges of the cup that I very much appreciate. It's a shame I could not find it in a size that was close enough to fitting that I might have considered it satisfactory for wearing to the beach. I tend to not prefer snug or too much coverage in a bikini. Unfortunately, the last size that was available was a 32DD. It was riding up in the back, but it didn't bother me for a bikini. The cups, however, were completely unflattering. Not only did they offer no support, they were flattening and pulling downwards on my bustline. It was so unattractive, I had to return it. I would have been ok with a 2-3 cups larger.
I really hoped this one would fit, but alas... I can't fill the upper part of the cup and the band is definitely too small. Oh well. Apart from that it is still a nice, good quality bra.
It's seriously padded, ridiculously so. I'd say it fits at least a full cup size smaller than an F, possibly two. It's either that, or a serious case of shape incompatibility. It also has the widest wires...they almost wrap around my back! They're also always riding right up my boobs uncomfortably. The band is nice and snug, though despite this, the gore doesn't tack. Additionally, the top of the cup reaches right up into the crevice of my armpit and digs in painfully (I'm quite petite though, so maybe this wouldn't be the case with someone of an average build?)
A gorgeous bra, but definitely not the one for me!
I only bought this bra because it was super cheap, so I didn't have very high expectations. It fits fine, but I don't like the shape it gives me. It seems to flatten out my breasts from the center (doing the opposite of cleavage). The cups are also cut so wide that I worry my boobs will fall out if I bend over. It would probably work better on someone with shallower breasts.
I like it. The padding is not very thick and I guess because it's old and worn out a bit it folds above the underwire. And the wire doesn't go to the gore. Which doesn't really bother me but it may to some. The straps are quite far apart not for narrow shoulders.
Bought the Almond colour to replace the Mink 32FF - Pour Moi » Geometric Underwired Bra (5702) which I returned. This one fits just like it, but is a much better colour. I also narrowed the gore to a width of about 1.5 centimetres and it's perfect now.
I got this bra from another user. This is a cute bra, aesthetically. But definitely not an "everyday" type of bra. It is not very comfy, it's itchy and scratchy and feels too "starchy" and stiff. It gives a really nice lift but not the greatest cleavage for me. The top of the cups were digging in the girls and the gore was digging in my sternum. I think the wires are too high for me. I also think I need a tighter band, the back rides up so I tried tightening the straps but that made the bra ride up more. Overall, it's def a cute, sexy bra but I just don't think the size is right for me. I need bigger cups and a smaller band. I'm pretty bummed cuz I really thought this would work https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Time to pass it along.
Runs very small in the cups. It squishes my boobs together, and the gore sits right on top of my cleavage, so nowhere near the sternum. I get quadboob, more so when I'm wearing it with the straps attached. I'd estimate my size in this to be about a 30H, if it existed. The shape is also very east-west, which isn't odd considering the horizontal seam across the cups. Compared to the 30G - Freya » Deco Shape Moulded Strapless Longline Bra (1462), it's a better strapless, because the cups don't come up quite as high, and there's no gaping - it does look okay, without the straps, when I wear it under tops.
The beige colour makes it very versatile, and the floral pattern adds a cute touch which is often absent in strapless styles.
I don't think narrowing the gore will improve the fit much, but since I got it for less than £10, it's worth a try.
Looking at the width and depth it looks like the cup is approximately two sizes too small. Looks like measurements for 30F with tight band or 28FF with a forgiving band
My shape: slightly shallow teardrop/FOB with super wide/tall roots and very close-set tissue in the middle.
This review is for the Morello colorway.
I bought this bra along with a few others in about april 2013 under the assumption that my boobs were the same as they had been for the previous 3 years (my usual 32C/30D size was sold out so I got this 32D), but I had just been prescribed new birth control and, unbeknownst to me because all my old bras had stretched so much, my breasts had just grown 3 cup sizes. Imagine my surprise when I tried all the new ones on!
So basically, this was ...the closest one to fitting, which caught me completely off guard. It's still really only about a cup size too small, I think, because my breasts are really self-supporting, and because it's so low and open on top I can almost get away with it in spite of clearly having too much boob there (my roots are very tall). The wires are comfortable under my arms, even though they aren't quite wide enough, but my roots are super-wide anyway, and it doesn't bother me. Also, the gore is so low! My breasts are so close-set, I love low gores. Can't get enough of them.
The real problem is that the band is too loose, because I really need a 30 or possibly a 28 if Pour Moi? made them in this model. On the tightest hook it's alright, but I've only worn it once, maybe twice ever, and any stretching would make it unwearable without some alteration.
It's a very pretty bra and I love the raspberry color. I'm still not 100% sure I want to put it up for a swap.
I bought the size 12 shorts and they also fit lovely. The ruffles are cute! Just don't try to wear them under, say, a linen skirt. Read more 205 more words
*Very* tight band - I can just about close it, but I quite enjoy breathing properly, so I'm wearing it with the full length of an extender, which feels a lot better. So people, sister size up.
Definitely on the sugary sweet end of the cutesy-wootsy scale. Browny pink satin base with light pink polka dots, pink lace trim, pink ruffles all the way around the band, and little pink bows on the straps and gore. Wow. It's okay, and reminds me of a better fitting version of the Freya Patsy (which was horrid on me), although the Patsy had nicer colours (Peacock and Lime, anyone? Sigh.)
Once again, the wires and gore are too wide, and the inside of the cups feels itchy - something that might improve with a little bit of washing, but for the price I paid, I don't feel it's worth it. If I find it in a larger band size for under £10, then maybe I'll try again.
This bra is beautiful and supportive, even though it is unlined mesh. But it is simply too small and wide in the cup for me. Would be best for someone with wide roots who is full on bottom.
Very comfortable and fits surprisingly well for a full cup bra; most others cut into my boobs on top. It feels nice to be covered up and leave the, in comparison, skimpy bras every once in a while.
The lace is rather smooth so I expect it wouldn't show much under clothes. The pattern is discreet but pretty. The band has gathers at the gore and wings which improves the overall look of the bra. The colour - Mink - is nice but isn't great as an invisible colour on my pale skin. It might be okay on darker or more olive-hued women.
The cups are a decent width, but ...still a hair too wide for my very narrow boobs. The gore doesn't tack entirely but I think it would be fine if I altered it. The band is quite tight for a 32 and I can wear it on the loosest hooks even if it feels better on the middle ones.
I'll probably send this back/sell it on, but I'll re-purchase if I find a good deal on the same in the Almond colourway. Read more 75 more words
