This bra fits a bit strangely, at least for me. The wires are too wide...but in a totally different area! Usually the wires fits okay-to-good on my inner breast - or at least the wires more closely there than anyplace else, with the outer wire being way too wide. This bra has the opposite problem - the wires are too close set and wide at this area, while the outer edge actually fits fairly well!
Unfortunately, I have quite a bit of inner fullness, even if it is more widely separated, so this bra isn't as comfortable as I'd like due to the lack of wire support. However, the bra basically fits my shape (full on bottom, projected), so I think this would be a great bra for someone with closer-set breasts than myself! Lovely color, seems fairly durable as well.
I love that this bra looks so elegant. That said, while it does fit perfectly, I thought it gave me a weird shape - the fabric tends to flatten the top of my boobs a bit. Otherwise it's very comfortable.
I tend to be right in between a 36 and 38 band size, so I went with a 38 for this bra because I heard the Pour Moi bands ran tight. I'll actually be exchanging it for a 36 as I can fasten the 38 on the tightest hook with no problem.
The cup shape and size is good, I think it would actually suit someone with more projection really well as I have a little bit of wrinkling at the top of the cup even after I scoop and swoop. My roots seem to be average to slightly wide and the wires on this fit really ...well, though they're slightly narrower than my Fauve and Freya bras. My favorite thing is the super thick elastic on the wing, it's not as stiff as wire or boning but does a great job at keeping my breast tissue in the cup and minimizing my east-west projection (of which I have a fair amount). Hopefully the 36F I'm exchanging for will be a better fit, band wise. Read more 74 more words
Feels true to size in the bag, and perhaps slightly roomier in the cup than a typical 30G, but not a 30GG, so probably a good option if you're between sizes.
Bra is on the narrow side, but also a bit on the shallow side - particularly not ideal if you need a lot of lower depth. It's shallow at the bottom of the cup. If not for that shallow lower cup, it probably would have been a decent fit for me, even though 5.5 inch wires are really too wide for my 5 inch breasts.
This bra isn't the correct size for me, it's way too big. I bought it when I was still figuring out my size, and I got the wrong band size unfortunately. It's still in the original packaging (taken out for pictures) and still has the tags attached. It's gorgeous, and I wish it would work for me.
This is a sexy bra that provides a decent amount of support given its strappy/lacy appearance. The straps themselves were a little bit wider than I expected based off the stock photos, but I guess that shouldn't be a surprise given my cup size. This is a fun one to wear under slightly sheer black blouses, however I've worn it a few times and the decorative rope bow at the gore got caught while I was putting it on earlier this week and tore off. Not a big deal as it would be easy to reattach if I wanted but it's also not really necessary to the aesthetic of the bra so I might just leave it.
This bra is really pretty, and none of the pictures I've seen show it - it's pink silk inside with a black lace layer over the top. I found it really comfortable for the most part.
The cups are really shallow, so this doesn't fit me well, the straps are also a little far apart for my liking.
There is some bunching going on with the cup above the horizontal seem as well, and a bit of quad boob going on.
This bra is really very pretty. I have the black one with the purple lace detail and its just beautiful. There is even purple accent lace through the straps.
The bra is comfortable everywhere but the straps. The straps feel a bit itchy due to the stiff lace that comes over the edges. Pretty effect, but not fun to wear for extended periods of time.
The Opulence is a push up bra with gel inserts so I was quite surprised at how little lift it gave, I barely have cleavage at all wearing it. No more so than a regular bra, at least. But it WAS comfortable, even with the inserts that can sometimes make a bra feel awkward.
The band on this top was taken in by the original owner, so it's more like a 34GG/32H, meaning it was probably true to size. The pattern is soooo cute! The little details of the matching beads on the gore and the side-tie of the bottom are adorable. The fit, on my round/centered boobs, was disastrous. I think this top would be great for someone with wide set boobs, or a broad chest, or both, and less central fullness than I have. If the bottoms weren't too small, and I didn't already have too many bikinis, I might try a strap experiment with this one because it seems well made. (And, did I mention how stinking cute it is?!) The cups are 2-part vertical seamed with lining and inner slings for support.
This bra didn't have any information on Bratabase, so I hoped for the best when ordering - it didn't pan out well for me.
The band is small, more like a 28 than a 30, although it has a bit of stretch. There is a small amount of padding that makes this a "push up" bra as well. The plunge is very low and would work well for low cut shirts. The wires on this bra are *extremely* wide. I have shallow, wide breasts and tend to gravitate towards wider wires, but these were much too wide for me - they dug into both my armpits and my ...ribs underneath.
The strangest thing about this bra is how wide set the moulded cups are. Once I had swooped and scooped my breast tissue into the bra, none of the tissue was actually in the bra. The sides of the bra were entirely empty, while I had a lot of quad-boob happening in the middle. Even trying to place my breast into the cups (i.e. pushing them outwards) didn't really work, and I was left with weird cut-off quad-boob and empty side-bra.
If you have shallow, wide set breasts and other bras suggested for you have still been too projected/narrow, this could work. Read more 104 more words
Beautiful style--a bit thicker than Panache Andorra, holds breasts a little closer together than others. 32G cupsize was too small--maybe 32GG would work? Returned.
This bra wanted to sit *really* low on me, which caused the wires to really dig in around my ribcage, and the straps to feel a bit too short, even when adjusted to their limit. Plus, quadboob! Wires were wider than I needed them to be. They were also quite a bit short compared to the wire channels. and insisted on sliding as far as they could from the gore, resulting in even more quadboob near the center since there was nothing there to support the tissue.
Not shape compatible for me. I'm splayed (with more tissue on the inside of my breasts than the outside), and close-set with a tall root. My roots also tend to be just a hair too wide for the 'narrower' bras, and way too narrow for the wide ones. This bra falls into the second category for me. Based on my fit, I'm guessing this would be better for shallow breasts that are both wide and slightly wide-set.
The padding in this bra is about an inch thick at its densest point, and is spread across the bulk of the bottom half of the cups. The wires are about ...an inch too wide for me, and too wide-set, so they really dig into my rib cage. Despite a low gore, the wires cut into my tissue a bit at the inside of the cups. Quite a bit of quad boob popping out toward the inside top of the cups, and the straps are also a bit too wide to be comfortable.
The Tease has a three hook closure, but it's too narrow for use with the three hook bra extender I have on hand (which has 3/4" spacing). Read more 88 more words
This bra felt a little too tight in the band and there was extra space in the bottom of the cups. The cups have an odd shape, and the wire seemed to come down way below my breast tissue.
This is a great bra I just haven't figured out what size I wear yet. If I ordered another in a different size I would go down in rib cage size and up in cup size (especially since the material the band is made of is super stretchy).
This is a beautiful chocolate brown with cream-colored embroidering. The embroidery extends up the straps, so the straps are only partially-adjustable. The fabric is quite lovely and soft, even the embroidery part seems to be somewhat soft. I bought this years ago when trying to figure out my size and never returned it.
