This Bra fits like a 28F. The cups are not only not deep enough for me but also are too closed causing a lot of quad boob. The gore is too wide but the height is okay. I like the embroidery on cups, how its just a flower here and there. The embroidery on the top and band area is too busy and looks childish.
Most comfortable and well fitting bra I've bought so far! Granted, there's still plenty I haven't tried. There's just the slightest wrinkling at the top of the cup (where the straps meets it), but it's so minor that I forgive it. The band and underwires are very comfy, and the higher gore is something I really like.
It's a very pretty bra and would probably work great for someone who was much fuller on top than I am. The cups aren't ridiculously floppy on me, but they're loose enough that it's a poor fit. The wires seem a little too high on the sides, but they only really poke when I bend over and reach, so I'm not 100% sure on that. The separation and shape are strange on me, but could be attributed to the cups/wire width being a poor fit. The thinner band also isn't my cup of tea. One thing I will say about this bra that I wasn't expecting is the straps are suuuuuper stretchy! I had to tighten them a lot more than I normally do just to get a comfortable fit there and there was still a considerable amount of strap left and still a good amount of give.
Most padded bras I have tried left me feeling confined or with empty cups so I am trying more unlined bras. It fits for the most part. I still have wrinkles by the top and it also cuts into my tall roots. There is also not quite enough immediate depth at the wire so there is some wrinkling in the bottoms of the cups. The gore is way too tall but is thin so I can wear it for most of the day. When I am wearing the bra my breast push the wires together causing them to overlap slightly. I may alter it later to be more over lapping. It looks smooth under clothes and the bottom fabric is 2 layers so it hides my nipples. I like the pin-striping details and I would love it more if it was gray and some other color like dark violet/blue/green.
This bra is beautifully embroidered, but it's way too small for me. I usually wear 30F/30FF in Pour Moi, but this one is way smaller than the Promise line from Pour Moi that fits me.
This bra has the loosest Pour Moi band I've ever tried. I am on the 30-32 barrier and have been able to order a 32 from them consistently for years without problems, but the 32 was way too loose on this one. I think that this is because the band is mostly composed of stretchy, really soft mesh. This results in a band issue that's a lot like the Claudette Dessous, but much less pronounced. The bra also has quite tall cups. They are almost a problem in my front armpit because I'm short and my roots aren't particularly tall or anything. However, this tall cup looks really ...nice from the front. It's reminiscent of Claudette Fishnet's catalog pictures, and looks more like that bra from the front than the really round look the bra has in Pour Moi's stock photos. Since the bra keeps sliding out of my IMF (due to loose band, cups that are wider than my root, and lack of lower projection), and the cup is so tall, I can't tighten the straps as much as I'd like to give the cup the look I want.
The gore on this bra also doesn't tack. It seems to be because of the band issue and the lack of projection at the bottom of the cup. It could also be because the cups are slightly too small for me, or because my boobs are too close in the middle for this bra. I've never had issues with that at the gore before, but I've been encountering a lot more scaling issues since I moved into 30H/HH territory.
These straps are fully adjustable and have helpful crinkles on them so they won't slip once adjusted, which is pretty awesome. The gray here is darker than the rest of the bra, but it doesn't take away from the overall futuristic look of this bra in the color I chose. Which is awesome. The gray is very, very pale and almost metallic in finish. The bra looks SO nice and sleek, which can be hard to find around this cup-band ratio. The fabric neither looks nor feels cheap, and all of the mesh is delightfully soft.
After taking in band, the bra fits great, with no slippage or anything. Shallowness at root is also a lot less of an issue, now that I've also bent the wires at the bottom. The bra now stays in my IMF a lot better. Read more 298 more words
Absolutely the wrong shape for me. I thought that since my tissue is pretty soft while my breasts are smaller I could make this work(strapless bras are hard to find. Ones I like and like me are even rarer), but it's a horrible fit in both beige and black. Seems designed for someone much less immediately projected and with wider roots (I'm pretty narrow)
The band seems on the snugger side of TTS. maybe a 29-30" band. The black is tighter than the beige, but not drastically.
I bought this as my "nude" bra, and it really is a perfect match for my skin tone. Details I like are the ballet slipper-like ribbons lining all the edges, and the way the cup itself isn't boring while still being pretty subtle.
The band is spot on for me, so it might run a touch loose for other people. The top edge of the cup digs in, but I can't tell if that's a problem with the bra shape vs. my boob shape, or if I need a cup size bigger.
My breasts: projected (immediate projection), even, short roots, narrow/average roots, close set, center fullness
Wanted to try size 36H as I have bra that's size 36GG and I love it, but thought I might be able to wear size 36H as well. That still might be the case, but not with this bra. The cup IS a bit too big. Especially from the top. It looks okay on the bottom and sides, but the fabric wrinkles from the top. So maybe it is just my breast type, not filling the top enough? Don't know, as I am sitll on my journey to finding the best bras and sizes ... class="smiley" src="https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The band on this seems to be quite loose as well. I think I could try 34 next. Maybe 34HH or even 34H if the cups do run big, as I read after I bought the bra. Although nto sure if I should if the style of the bra just isn't a good fit for me.
The wires do poke my arms a bit, so they are definately a bit too high for me.
The bra looks nice though and I do like the colour (purple/amethyst) even though it is not my favourite colour.

Well.. I honestly don't know what's wrong with this bra. I first got 38FF which was too small on the cups. I returned it (well, it's lost in the mail it seems, yay...) and got 38G. But this looks exactly the same as the other one. Maybe liiiitle bit bigger? Not even sure as the problem is still there (the gore does not lie flat against my chest). I was even thinking that maybe this is mislabelled and is indeed 38FF as well. Although, comparing the measurements, this is bigger, according to them. But it's ...still small. A lot. The center is still about the same widht away from my chest than with 38FF. So where is this extra space it has then?! This bra is just so weird.. When I press the center againts my chest, I get the quad boob. So obviously, too small. I am pretty frustrated with this and decided to stay away from Pour Moi for now.
A real shame as I love how the bra looks: the colour, the bows.. ugh.. no fun https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
My usual unpadded size is 32G, but I went down a cup size for the St Tropez after reading several reviews saying it ran big in the cup. This was not a wise choice, I ended up quadding something awful after the bra settled. It's a shame since the bra was a decent fit for me (v projected and full all over) in every other aspect, although a word of warming that the wires are particularly stretchy and weren't as narrow while being worn as the measurements would argue. The upper mesh is technically stretch lace but because of the embrodiery it isn't overly forgiving. I found the band to be TTS and the materials of decent quality, specifically that the usual squeakiness that I've found in every other Pour Moi bra is absent in this model!
This bra is designed for wide-set shallow breasts. My projected breasts didn't stand a chance - this is the first bra that I'd found that was too wide-set for me, the quadding basically cut my soft tissue in half, the colour was basically the only redeeming feature. Never again!
Holy quad-boob! This bra is bizarre - the upper section is two layers of mesh folded in half together (like two pieces of paper), the inside layer quads like no tomorrow. The rest of the bra - the fabric quality, the straps, the band, the design - were fine, but this was an instant dealbreaker.
This bra would be great if you're average-to-shallow depth and average-ish width. But for the projected ladies, stay far away!
However: the squeakiness! The underwires rub against the fabric and squeak loudly,
Honestly, if it weren't for the Saint Tropez bra I would be writing off this brand entirely.
This bra is really really pretty, and the quality is pretty good though the material is slightly scratchy. The fit is almost but not quite right. The gore does not lie flat and the top of the cups is not right though I'm not sure why. I quite like the shape it gives though.
