I bought this bra because my slight increase in either size or upper fullness is beginning to show. The cups have some stretch to them in general, particularly at the upper seams of the cups, which is perfect for my needs. The band is tight for a 32, so I can fit into it even though I generally wear a 30 band. The cup width is perfectly narrow for my narrow roots. My only issue with it so far is the wire height, which only seems to be a problem because the wires are less rounded off at their ends than those of some of my other bras. ...It took about 10 hours of wear for me to even really notice it, though. The gore doesn't tack, but it doesn't seem to be a cup volume issue. However, this is still one of the most secure-feeling bras I have.
I was shocked at how nice the bra felt for its price point, particularly since neither of my other two encounters with Pour Moi (even my previous one with this bra in a different color) have been amazing as far as fabric quality. This bra is pretty darn soft and quite well constructed for such a low retail price.
The color of this bra is great! It looks just as light, bright blue as it does in its pictures online, if not more so. I love its simplicity, and the fact that it's not another bra that looks like anything else in my size range. I'm pretty uninterested in/tired of flowery lace, so its geometric lace is a big plus for me. Its only adornments other than the snazzy lace and ruching around the sides of the cups are a fuchsia ribbon that was easily snipped off. It's definitely a full coverage bra, which would've been off-putting if the print wasn't so appealing.
The shape this bra gives seems like some kind of enigma. It gives a natural shape that's a bit pointy without a tight shirt on, but holds my boobs up so high that I can feel them surrender to gravity upon removal. It's so minimizing that it allows me to wear a button-down top (!) without safety pins (!!!) which is a game-changer for my wardrobe. It seems to have hit the sweet spot for having ample projection and band tightness to actually stay right under my boobs, which is very rare. This is a very strange, satisfactory bra. No weird plastic smell this time, either. Read more 305 more words
Very pretty. Gives a rounded, kind of minimized shape. I especially like the corsety ribbon detail at the front. Bottom decoration looks like it might flip up a little with wear. Pretty much the right size, maybe a touch small in the cup (I'd prefer the center gore to sit more directly on my sternum).
ETA: Definitely too small. The underwires pinch and cause me pain if I wear it for too long. I'll still wear it though, since there are ways to work around the pinchiness.
It didn't fit me. It is too big in a band and falls down without straps, the cups are horrible for me. The gore lies on my boobs, the cup is too small and falls down. The wires are kinda elastic, so they become wider while on human body.
I've bought it as a brand new and wore once. Just to sit in a place about 3 hours, return home and take it off. My boobs tried to get out from the cups https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Finally I decided to list it. It seems to be a good bra, but is just not made for me. Good luck!
It's comfy. There are some creases at the bottom, but very small (below the lowest boob, of course). Don't disturb me, but for bratabase it already doesn't fit.
I've improved the way I wear my bras and now they fit me better. This one started to fit too, and has a really nice uplifting. It still ripples a little, but when I wanted to sew just a little bit of fabric to make the cup smaller, it started to be too smal and was still rippling. So this is not too big cup... Especially that it ripples along the seam and in certain place below the breast. I can't fix it. But it fits (pics are old)
I love this bra! It is easily one of my absolute favorites. The cups do run a bit small, I have a 38H coming from Amazon now. Even with the smaller cups (slight quadboob) it is extremely comfortable, the satin and lace are both very very soft, it gives great lift and separation...The best separation I have ever gotten from a bra!
Of course, now that i am in love with it, it seems as though Affinitas may have discontinued it! *sobs* I can't say enough great things about this bra. If the 38H solves the minor cup issue, I plan to buy one in every color..maybe even a couple duplicates for back up!
It's quite pretty, and VERY cheap right now. The band is a bit on the smaller side: I have a (bony) 26 2/3" snug underbust and usually wear a 28FF, and I'm okay with it. The cups are somewhat projected and felt like they were on the narrower side for UK bras. I'm extremely close-set (~2 mm between my breasts while wearing a bra), so I wish the gore were lower/narrower, but it should work for people who are somewhat close-set. It's shame that it seems to be discontinued! If you're somewhat projected and narrow, and like foam bras with a little push-up, see if you can grab one while they're still available, especially since they're only £6!
There's a lack of Pour Moi reviews (though I see questions about the brand pop up somewhat frequently) so I'll add another review to give some more data:
When this bra fit me, it was one of my favorites (mostly because of the look, not the fit). The bra has pretty wide and shallow cups, and the band runs large. The decorative straps on top also make it not very good for people who are full on top (and I'm narrow, projected, and FOT so this didn't work so well shapewise for me). But if you have wider roots and are even or FOB this might work well for you!
I really love the way this bra looks! The colors are gorgeous and the flower detail is very pretty. I wish the material was a little softer, and the tag is really itchy. I hope this is fixed with a few washes (and I might cut out the tag). Unfortunately it does show under most of my tank tops because the cups go all the way into my armpit but not in an uncomfortable way.
Yet another Pour Moi disappointment https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I was so happy about the imagined fit of this bra after trying a too-small 32F - Pour Moi » Pin Up Underwire Non Padded (6702) . However, 32G still quads a little, and at the same time the bottom of the cup is not completely filled. But above all, the shape seems to be very different and I won't bother trying more. It is quite East/West and decidedly downward-looking.
I have noticed this change of shape with almost every bra I've tried from this brand and I'm beginning to suspect they may have a problem in grading the cups up (possibly beyond F or FF).
I had such high hopes for this bra! It seemed super pretty - and I was not too disappointed on this aspect. It seemed to have a nice shape - and what a shock! My boobs morphed into perfect pyramids - from absolutely every viewing angle. I'd be curious to know if cup size is a factor because judging from Pour Moi's photos, it seems like a total shape change. Comfort-wise, I can only observe that the band is pretty rigid and the cups are quite wide - and probably somewhat shallow, as I could not fill their bottom. However, if you look at the stock photos carefully, you'll see that neither can the models...
Cups are at least 2 sizes too small; the gore is at least an inch away from my sternum, maybe more. The outside wires hit my upper arm when I move my arm - unsure if it's because it's too small or because it's doesn't hold its shape well. The band is very stretchy but seems firm enough. There is no wire on the side under the arms and this area buckles - but not sure if that is the bra or that tissue that belongs in the bra is there instead. Shape is very flat on outside of bra and bottom of cup. Top of cup and side near gore seems slightly rounded, but again, it's too small, so unsure how rounded. Moderately projected; may be fuller on top than bottom.
At first, I thought this bra fit well. It felt supportive, and while it gsve me a touch of quadding, it wasn't too bad. However, the bra does not have enough immediate projection for me, and I found it sliding down and becoming tighter throughout the day. The colors are pretty. Overall, it seemed the band was tighter than other bras, and the cups were a touch smaller than other bras.
This bra fits me well. It wouldn't have six months ago, but now tissue has migrated so I've more even fullness. If my breasts were more bottom heavy the top section of the bra would wrinkle and gape a bit. I think those with top heavy breasts might find the top elastic a bit too stretchy and lacking in support. The band feels tight but has enough give that it's comfortable even though it's a new bra. The gore sits flat and doesn't dig in. Gives a natural rounded shape. Doesn't do much for my cleavage.
I bought this bra as I thought it would be a neutral unlined ...bra that I could wear with white tops and not have my nipples show. Initially this was the case, but eventually it kind of slips and you can see them through the mesh on the top.. I will stick with moulded/ padded bras for that purpose in the future. The fabric on the 'eye' side of the closure is too short or something because when its done up the hooks get exposed and scratch me. It's really annoying! I now do it up on the second set up hooks.. which fit tightly. I know it'll stretch out but this just means i've shortened the life of the bra. Read more 109 more words
cups seem to run a bit shallow, I ended up throwing an extender into the band because I probably needed a bigger size all around in this bra, runs small in comparison with the other bra I tried from this maker.
38H is the same cup size as 40GG. Cups are proportional to the bands. If you wanted to go up a size, you would need a 40H or a 38HH
