Too big in the cups for me now, but at one point it was a pretty good fit there, if I ignored the wrinkling at the bottom of them (as I always did). https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Band felt a little tight when I bought it; it's very stretched out now, to the point where I had to edit down the measurements a little. (The resting band is definitely ~26.5" now and it stretches to 34" without distorting the cups.)
Tried on and didn't purchase, was hoping someone else had to share data. Mostly fit, but wasn't perfect. Liked the strap detail. Support didn't feel exceptional, and the top of the cup wasn't quite the right shape. Seams were too obvious for my t-shirt bra search.
This bra is beautiful! Amazing quality and comfort. I bought it on sale, the original price is too expansive for me. The left cup is perfect for my smaller side (G), but is a little bit too small on my biggest side. Even if the fit is not perfect, it is comfortable. It is a full cup bra, but the coverage is not too high (coverage fits like Panache Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675)). The cups are very supportive, yet just sretchy enough. I wish it came in a bigger cup size!
This bra is absolutely gorgeous! The embroidery is delicate and won't show through most tops. Sheer mesh is both romantic and powerful! It provides excellent support for FOB and east-west shapes. The straps are detachable in the back, perfect for tank or racer-back tops-- hard to find this option in larger sizes!
The band is quite a bit stretchier than the Perle, and if I could I would probably benefit from going all the way down to 28, but we will see how the 32F-on-the-tightest-hook feels before asking if they can alter it down that far https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> (probably not sigh)
The cups have a little bit of something on the inside of the upper ...lip to help keep them in place and between that and the same material lining the top of the band it stays in place much better than the Perle. I think it will look great under slinky dresses https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra is absolutely gorgeous! It fits somewhere between a balcony and a full plunge style- creating plenty of cleavage but offering a lot of support. It moves your breasts forward, creating a nice rounded shape.
I LOVE this bra! I bought it during my 8 month of pregnancy, as none of my usual bras fit. It was so comfortable, and the bras is infinitely prettier in person. The workmanship of the bra is gorgeous, and pictures do NOT do it justice. Sadly, now that I am nursing full time, my breasts are too large (not to mention the lack of nursing clips):
Not my best fitting bra. There is elastic on the lace part of the upper cups which presses into my breast tissue creating a slight quadboob effect. The under wires are a bit too wide for me. I like the fabric and the details on the straps and gore. The band feels very snug. I like this bra, but I know it's not a perfect fit.
But the bra is marked as fitting? Is that a mistake?
It's not a horrible fit so that's why I marked it as fitting. To me, those fitting remarks are just me being nit picky. It's a decent enough fit, but I just prefer to wear my cuter bras instead.
Excellent full cup bra with incredible support and minimal movement! Band is very firm. Beautiful embroidery on the cups and detailed straps. Straps are fully adjustable and a soft satin. Stretchy lace at top of cup eliminates gaping. Smooth fit, very subtle under clothes. Great for FOB shapes. Side supports great for those who have underarm tissue
Low gore, tacks well. Great side support, especially if you are more east-west. Good for bottom heavy breasts. Stretchy lace at top of cup prevents any gaping and lies flat under clothes. Work-appropriate, but with a hint of cleavage for a lower-cut shirt. High quality construction and craftsmanship.
Had to size up in the band to get the plunge, so had the band altered down to ~32 band. I suspect it was initially a 34G.
This was my first real bra in my size, then a 34G. It's absolutely gorgeous. I remember being AMAZED at how it centered my boobs, supported the sides, and I looked 15 pounds lighter instantly. But I've shrunk since then and now it's way too big. I did have it altered, taken in one band size, presumably. But now it rubs funny, I feel like the wires are sitting in the wrong spots, the center gore doesn't tack, and the truth is it's still not small enough in the band.
This is just quality as soon as start to put it on you feel the quality of it with way it goes on. Depth of band is right for size and straps are perfect don't slip or mark has right amount of stretch with a nice trim on them. The gore sits perfectly flat on breast bone with wires not poking anywhere. Cups encompass the whole breast even to the sides very little over lap under arms. The base of cups are in a lightly ribbed fabric which give it a light forming so pushes breast up slightly so does gives an uplifting shape the top half of cups is in a ...semi sheer embroidered fabric with a nice lace trimming to edge of cups and straps. you just feel so held in so supported but without being squeezed anywhere and has enough cover over nipples so not rubbed/chaffed by lace fabric as one thing i look for as with P tumor mine are very sore easily so this passes with an A+ 10. This is meant to be slightly more generous in cups than the corture but fits perfectly on me in 44F do have in black as well. Ive worn all day and still feels just the same as when first put on so very comfortable don't feel any pinching anywhere so for me a perfect 10 what more can you want? The look and appearance is fantastic even in white with the detailed lace trimmings showing it off.
So in a nutshell more than worth it's price and can see why it's sold as they say all over the world in great numbers a true classic bra so if in doubt go for it as a very worth while investment for your breasts! so what more can i say.
I got this with the Deauville briefs in 2xl they are a fantasic fit also very comfortable as one thing found since problem with hormones my body has changed with rear changing so female briefs fit better and with fibro things get uncomfortable so have to choose fabrics Read more 232 more words
Bra didn't fit right upon receiving. Cup caused quad boob effect but didn't feel as if the cup was filled properly. Could easily secure the band but straps fell down a lot. Added foam (not by me) offers extra comfort against the underwires.
Found this on the bay old stock looks like pre runner to deauville? but excellent style/fit so comfortable only one problem?....never want to take it off it's that comfortable was a bit tight at first fit but after very short while like a pair of comfortable slippers and just forget wearing but really helped as was having a problem with hormone levels as have a P tumor etc been on Tgel which has made them "grow" now more a 44E cup or F in conti brands but have/had flaking on nipples too. the straps are great have enough give without being too stretchy stitched in the right place so ...stay put and don't mark/dig in either plus nice and wide unlike some cheap brands that have strings! these have a nice embroidery on them in a shiny stitching which covers the cups also. Don't feel any pinching anywhere either so cups must fit right wires are great(prefer to non wired)feel holds me better.
Only minus/downside is being old stock can't find briefs to match! as now buy matching kit find fit me better and far more comfortable than manky cacks!
Have on order Deauville in 44F as had comfort cup in 46D ordered but taking soo long but altered to 44 instead will try to compare and post up if you like? Read more 110 more words
All my Prima Donna bras demonstrate the truth of the saying, "You get what you pay for." Higher product prices don't always lead to higher quality, of course, but in the case of Prima Donna, you're getting outstanding comfort in addition to whatever colors and patterns you can identify easily online.
My 65F Prima Donna Satin Plunge Bra looks like nothing. It has one seam in each cup, far out to the side and close to the underarm; no padding; and thin, limp material. How can this possibly lift or shape boobs, especially firm ones like mine? Yet it does. I get a pleasing, rounded profile. My slightly bigger ...left boob gets a semi-spherical shape, similar to the look in my 30FF Cleo Marcie. My right boob gets almost as semi-spherical, with a little less upper fullness. In a bra, my boobs act somewhat full on top.
That one seam in each cup connects a narrow vertical piece, made of the same material as the rest of the cup, to the main cup piece. The vertical piece resembles a side sling in a Fantasie balcony bra. The Satin Plunge, however, simply sews the two pieces together. The little side piece meets the strap and is thus less than an inch wide there. It curves wider as it joins the bra band.
I was surprised to measure the band as 28" stretched. An Ewa Michalak band that stretches to only 28" feels punishing. I think the quality materials in the Prima Donna Satin Plunge keep this very firm band from hurting me. I believe higher quality elastic materials can be firm, stretch to accommodate your movements, and bounce back because of superior resiliency.
The super low, 1.25" center gore is perfect for a petite person with no space between her breasts.
More than half the Ewa Michalak bras I received over the last year have had appallingly sharp edged bands, particularly in the hook and eye areas. I've had cuts and scabs. This is never going to be a problem with a Prima Donna bra.
I wish the Prima Donna Madison Plunge had a gore as low as their Satin Plunge. I also wish Prima Donna's cups were lower coverage. The Satin Plunge is lower coverage than usual for them because the gore is so low. If I wore scoop necklines, this bra might show. Read more 283 more words
Gorgeous bra, it makes me feel like Ariel from the Little Mermaid for some reason. It is supportive, pretty, an unusual colour, and has the little details which are nice. It is comfortable and seems to be holding up well.
But the bra is marked as fitting? Is that a mistake?
