Purchased June 2017. The lace is very soft, flexible, and comfortable yet still provides a good amount of support. This is definitely a great comfort bra. However, this tends to look quite conical on my breasts (which is a common problem for me) so I rarely wear it with tight-fitting shirts. The lace often peeks out on tanks.
Edit 8/2/19: Over the last two years it's lost a lot of the support that it had, not a great fit

The good.
Bottom and side sling, very high quality materials, impeccable stitching. Opaque (not net) bra back, and beautiful styling. Downward hike on the hooks, and arched gore for tummy comfort, and oppositional support.
Most notably, even though this bra is 2+ band sizes too large for me, and the cups gape hugely at the top, my tissue still remains well contained, and "guided" in this bra. I've considered taking in the band, but with the heavy engineering, I suspect it would affect fit poorly.
The inner sling sytem is amazing, utilizing seams, material stretch, and directional DOGS to achieve shaping-with most of this magic hidden inside the fabric layers that make up the cups.
The bad.
Front strap lace that blocks the slides. ..but other then that? It's no wonder that the Deauville is prima Donna's best selling bra.

In my never ending search for a smooth bra to wear under T shirts, this is my latest try.
Epic fail.
I'm short rooted, center full and functionally full on bottom and need extreme immediate projection.
On my larger breast I almost filled the top, but on my smaller side, I had tons of wrinkles on top. Probably should never try a a full cup bra.
Accommodates only moderate center fullness. Didn't have enough for me. Seemed okay for for immediate projection.
This review actually belongs on Satin 0161330. Accidentally picked the wrong number.

First time trying this brand and so ordered this size which is what I wear in Empreinte and a 30G.
30F is too small.
I wear 28GG or 30G in Cleos.
See my other review on 30G .
This is just a smaller version with the same issues I mentioned for the 30G.

This is probably my 3rd Prima Donna Couture bra. It's one of the best bras I've ever owned. It is really well-made. It's one of the few bras that is worth shelling out $100+ for. It is very comfortable, it's pretty, it's supportive, and it's well-constructed and durable.
At the moment, this is the bra that fits me the best. I'm kind of between sizes right now but the 40H in this style is a very good fit for me. Before this, I was wearing the 38I in this bra. I wish I could afford to own several colors. It's the most expensive bra I've ever purchased, but ... it was actually worth every penny.
If it helps, I have close-set, dense breasts that I think are somewhat even, but slightly full on top. I have a lot of tissue, but this holds everything well and is comfortable all day (even though the top of the gore doesn't tack). And it does not give me quad boob or side boob. It's not one of those bras you're dying to get off as soon as you get home.
The store owner or manager told me that she's seen women come in wearing Prima Donna bras that are seven years old and that these are the most well-made of bra brands. All of their bras have perfectly symmetrical lace, which she said is rare because most manufacturers won't take the time and expense to do this. (Side note: I think Conturelle does it too as my new bra from them also has perfectly symmetrical lace.)
I love this bra. I tried on 3-4 other Prima Donnas at the boutique and none fit me like this one. Others gave me quad boob and looked very unflattering. I expected to be wowed by the other Prima Donna styles, but I wasn't. The Madison was okay, but nothing beats the Couture for me. And if I'm going to pay $90-$130 for a bra, that bra better fit great! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

Prima Donna bras are just a tad bigger than the same-sized Prima Donna Twist bras, I've discovered. The band is slightly longer, so I'm wearing the bra at its tightest hook from the get-go. The bottom cup is made up of somewhat stretchy silk and the top of the cup is of stretchy mesh lace with expensive embroidery. The cups provides a fuller coverage than the Prima Donna Twist of the same-size. The cup is a bit deeper too, so I wear it with a full breast nipple cover that is far thinner than your usual cutlet or even push-up insert. That addition rounds out my profile nicely. I do wish the center gore was a bit narrower. However, all in all, this is a high-quality bra that will provide support all day.

The Deauville Balcony Bra is very well-made. In terms of fit, it's a bra I reserve for my heavier days just before and early in my period. Even then, I have a little room left up on top on the right and a little wrinkling on the left, my smaller breast. I am wearing the bra on its middle hook. The straps, although adjusted snugly for me, still have room to go. That said, because I've adjusted the straps snugly, the sides do cut a bit into my underarm fat, in part also because the cups are set just a tad apart for me. The center gore is just a tad wider, so I imagine the cups would fit better were the gore narrowed a bit.

This is a very beautiful bra but is also very suitable for women with a larger cup size. It is also great for the summer because the fabric is breathable. Unfortunately I think it is no longer part of the Prima Donna collection this year.

Will update the review once I've had a chance to wear it for a day or two.
The Prima Donna is a nice bra. It's soft, lacy, sexy, and comfortable (at least during the fitting). The straps are thick and sturdy, but made of a soft, foamed elastic with pretty ribbon detailing on the front. The mesh has a striped pattern with polka dots in the middle and lace at the top of the cup.
I tried this on at the boutique after being incorrectly sized as a 40G UK size a couple days ago. The saleswoman brought out a tray of 38H's to try on and I picked ... this one and a couple others, not realizing which brand they were. Prima Donna is a pricy brand compared to the Elomi, Panache, and Fantasie bras I typically buy. The bra is very pretty though.
It's my closest fitting bra after trying on over 20 bras this week, trying to narrow down my size. I ended up going back to the boutique today and we realized that I'm currently between a 38H and a 38HH UK size and this bra fits within that size range. The band is snug, yet soft. I think this bra is great for those who need a little extra padding on the straps and a soft band so that they rest comfortably and don't dig in. The straps are a little wide for my taste, but I like that they are soft and supportive.
The only fit issue I have so far is that the gore doesn't tack, but that is true of most bras for me because I have close-set breasts.
Since this was the best fit I've found this week (after going bra shopping 3 times), I closed my eyes and ignored the price. Once I test it out a few days, I'll know whether it's worth it to invest in any more of these. I love the styles made by Prima Donna - they have some gorgeous bras - but it's hard to spend $100-$150 on one bra, especially if I'm going to size out of it in 6 months. This bra costs as much as 2-3 bras from other brands.
If the price isn't a factor for you, I'd recommend trying it. This is a supportive, pretty, and well-made bra.
Update: After wearing this a couple weeks, I have to say that I love this bra. It's comfortable for all day wear. It's sexy. It fits. The other new bras I have are problematic in different ways, but this one fits. The elastic trim the bottom of the band does roll a tiny bit, but I think that is because it's a thin strip compared to some of my other bras. The bra stays in place, so I'm not worried about it. I need to get another one of these because it's the only bra that fits me correctly right now.

I would size up on the cup - The bra is well made, sturdy and supportive, I just ordered the wrong size and missed the return date!

In a nutshell, it's the wrong shape for me.
I quadded in the center but gapped inside the top of the tall cups. Also, the wires sat on my ribs instead of tucked into my IMF. If I tried the next cup size up it might fit better around the wire and eliminate the quad, but the height of the cup on this size is already too tall, and (I'm assuming) the gaping inside the top of the cup would be even greater.

This bra is literally perfect on me. It completely covers my boob, but somehow feels less high than the Madison. The lace is quiet textured but it doesn't show under most of my clothes, the inside of the bra is really soft and super comfortable to wear. With Prima Donna it really seems you pay for the quality, but it's worth it!

The bra is very comfortable. The 34 band is perfectly ok but I think the cups run slightly too big for my measurements. It has a fuller coverage compared to other styles so I wouldn't say it's suitable for the summer especially if like myself you prefer low cut bras for tops. Still, it does give the breast a very nice shape, as PD bras always do so I am happy with my purchase

Very comfortable and supportive. I like how it is stripes and dots on most of the lace in the cup instead of regular lace (soft cup only seems to work for me, which usually has lace of some kind).

This was a product of the worst in-store bra fitting experience ever. I am actually a 30GG. I have gained ten lbs since, but I'm still a 30 and I remember asking about the quading to begin with. It very quickly developed a crease at the bottom of the cup because of its shallowness. It only has one hook, which is probably fine if you are actually a D, but is not enough for me. It is a beautiful (and fairly expensive) bra, it just doesnt fit me!!!

This is a very beautiful bra that I bought on sale from a French website. I have always worn Chantelle bras and usually I measure a 32 E or a 34 E in this brand so I wasn't very sure what the exact measurement would be in PrimaDonna. Having consulted this excellent and very helpful website I thought that a 32 E would fit fine but unfortunately it was way too tight in the band even though the cups fit ok . At the moment I'm using a bra extension because I can't be bothered to return it and because I bought it on sale so I saved ... a lot of money. If your ribcage measures 80 cm like me for this model a 32 band is too short but I suppose a 34 should be ok because with a bra extension there seems to be no problem. I must say that the quality of PrimaDonna bras is remarkable. Even though there is only one hook on the band the support is excellent, usually bras in E cups have much larger bra bands for good support, PrimaDonna manages to do all this in an extremely elegant way. I understand now why lots of women adore this brand, I will continue to try more of their models hoping that next time the bra fits exactly as it should.
