I really really wanted this to fit. I've worn it three times though on the tightest hook and it just doesn't provide the support I need in the band. I like that it is a different shape than most of the other bras in my size. It seems like it would be really nice under flowy shirts. The embroidery doesn't lay flat but I would still keep the bra if it fit better. Its comfortable and quite open on the top so it would like work well for fot. I get a bit of gaping but its not noticeable under clothing. ...This is the kind of shape I am drawn to, that often doesn't come in larger cups. I bought this bra using the EU Samanta site and followed the fit suggestions for European sizing. I suggest others do the same. I wouldn't have had good luck with trying UK or US sizing. This was larger than I expected for a 70 (32) band based on online reviews and the site calculator but this band fit me just like Chantelle 32s and others so I wasn't too surprised either. I feel like with the shape the cup could run up to a half size larger but I don't think a whole size. Though if I reordered I would order a band down and the same cup, i.e. 65E.
P.s. After paying more attention to the measurements and pictures I think maybe the cup only looks big because it's not providing lift with the band being much too large for me. I want to try this style again but haven't and I'd probably try 65F now instead of the 65E I thought I might before. Maybe even 65G. The depth on this cup is less than I typically need. This would make a beautiful bridal piece. I love the the subtle raised embroidery. The only issue I have with this bra is the band and that the cups cut into my roots. It is reasonably narrow and shifts a little more than I like. But I have very heavy tatas for their size and struggle to find the right balance between firm enough band and too firm
this is a beautiful bra but a size too small in the cups, fits like a cleo 30E - its actually a similar cut too though you cant tell it in these pictures. I liked it so much i re ordered it in the next size up. My only complaint with these bras is that the band is pretty narrow and the embroidery does show under thin shirts but thats pretty par for the course with most cut and sew bras.
This is an absolutely gorgeous beige lace bra! I so wish it fit me better! The cups are just too large for me, and the band is as well. The cups are slightly too wide for and they're definitely too tall for my short roots. This bra does run slightly smaller than A122 Aurora in 65F, I suspect because the guipere lace used in the cups is much stiffer than the mesh on Aurora. This bra has convertible straps that are fully adjustable, but are a bit difficult to adjust due to their embroidery. The band is true to size, and is very soft and stretchy. This bra fits large for a 30E, and requires a very projected shape. The gore is fairly high and I would compare the cup shape to the Cleo Lily.
This is probably my favorite bra at the moment. I did have to switch out the straps for long enough ones but I tend to need to adjust my straps out a decent amount, otherwise I end up with deep red groves in my shoulders (for all bras). The navy surpringly goes under pretty much any color without issue. However the lace does show under thin shirts. I thought the fabric was going to be too itchy but it's not itchy on at all. I get a minimized projected shape wearing it. I've tried three Samanta bras (unlined) and in each I've needed ...a 65. This doesn't match their calculator but it does match my typical band size of 30. However in the cup I need to size from my typical F to a G; this is only one cup based on the size options Samanta sells. I recommend these bras to anyone who has a way to get them shipped here. I rely on a friend to forward them on from Europe. Presently they don't ship to the US Read more 81 more words
This bra measures much shallower than I normally need but it's a very round shape so I think that's why it almost works. If I had one size up, it would probably work really. It is a bit tight in the band since I measure a 34. So I would need a 75G.
How do you compare it's cup size to the British bras you might be wearing? I was interested in Samanta, because it offers sizes like 30O,P,S and above, and I'm trying to find equivalent size to my 30JJ-30K Panache Jasmine, but everything I tried that worked for girls with sister sizes are small on me. I think I now know why, and want to add this to my reviews. but also want to find new comfortable bra.
I never wore this one (it's always been too big in the cup) so it's tough to say what exactly the UK equivalent is, but my Samanta A122 65J fits at the same time as my Freya Deco 30GG, if that helps! The A922 has more projection than the A122, though, so might be a bit generous and may be similar in cut to the Jasmine. So a UK30JJ might be like a 65N in the Samanta A922, since they're both 4 cup sizes up from my 65J/30GG comparison, but I can't be sure!
I'm normally a UK34f. This should be my correct size according to conversion charts but it is a bit small in the cups. Beautiful bra, wish it would work.
This bra is simply too small for me and I believe the issues I have are resulting just from that, really.
The band was pretty snug but not as deathly tight as some Cleo and EMs can be. I have quadboob once scooped and swooped breast tissue in.
This 3 part balconette (?) cut from Samanta is supposed to be good for projected busts and I'd say the wires are fairly narrow. The materials are very soft, construction looks of excellent quality, and of course the design is pretty. I love the elegant decadence of Polish brands. Difficult to capture on camera, the design looks to be like overlaying petals or waves or clouds with a really nice lace border at the top of the cup. Black bow in the middle with the "S" charm and a decorative satin strip on the straps. My picture makes it look like shit =p
This is such a pretty bra and super comfortable. The fit would be perfect but the bra is about a cup size too small (I'm a 30GG for reference), the straps are not fully adjustable and the gore doesn't tack all the way.
This bra is too small in the cup and too flimsy/stretchy/stretched out in the band for me -- so it technically doesn't fit.
However, it's cute and really comfy because of the soft stretchy material, so I wear it all the time around the house and to walk my dog. For this reason I still love it! Thanks to Scharminkeltje who gifted me this bra from Poland!
Oh god, So So SO beautiful!!. Without much information out there about the brand I took a gamble on a 70K and lost =/
Pros: Amazingly gorgeous. Sexy but in an elegant way. Extra padding underneath the straps. Mesh isn't itchy! Comfortable band. Seems to have the narrower wires and depth typical of Polish brands.
Cons: Just overall too big for me. I prefer a very snug band so this wouldn't quite work for me anyway. I also need a lower wing height for my stubby torso.
I plan on selling this so it can have a home where it will be worn. Too pretty to sit in my closet.
Very nice round shape. The picture of me wearing it IS altered, though - I removed the elastic under the top of the cup. Like so many Polish bras, this one has a firm piece of elastic to pull the bra closer to the chest. My breasts have too much upper fullness and are too tall for that feature, but removing that seam has made a nice balconette for me that is low enough in front to very nearly be a half cup. I like that, actually, since my breast shape doesn't get on well with half cups. This is just tall enough to make it ...a very nice alternative, though.
Wonderfully tall gore keeps my boobs from falling out the middle, which is a chronic problem in most bras.
In spite of the wires being wide, they're not strictly U-shaped (I'm reminded a bit of the shape of the wires on Bravissimo's balconette style), so the width doesn't bother my very narrow rooted breasts at all. Normally, a U-shaped wire of 5.5 inches wide feels intolerably wide to me, but with this shape wire, the width feels very comfortable.
Personally, I'm not in love with this color combo - the light pink flowers on gray base is a bit busy for my taste. The design itself is nice, but I wish the colors complimented one another better. Read more 120 more words
The straps on this bra are fully adjustable. There are only 2 hooks per column. The band is very loose; I typically need a 36 in Panache and a 34 in some brands, but I can fasten this on the tightest hook so I would need a 32. The cup size seems more or less correct for me, so I would say this fits like a 36G. The gore is rather wide given the narrowness of the wires. I will not be keeping this bra due to the loose band.
This was the first bra I bought at a shop (not online) in over two years. It's not perfect, but I was determined to leave with something, and options were limited.
The band runs small- I usually wear 30-32, but this 34 is about as tight as the rest of my bras. I'm sure this isn't true of all Samanta bras, because I tried another 34F and while the cups were the same, the band was quite a bit looser. The cups run about true to size compared to Freya/Fantasie/Cleo.
The cups have side support panels made of mesh, which look flimsy but actually do a pretty good job of ...keeping the shape centered. All in all, the shape is quite subdued- round and minimized, no great oomph or lift, but some days that's what I'm looking for in my bra.
The colour is very pretty, and so is the embroidery. The straps have ribbon sewn along the front half, but I think they're still fully adjustable. The embroidery will show slightly under a thin top, but not distractingly so.
My main problem is that the center gore tends to sort of flip sideways- so that the wires are sitting sideways on my body, one in front of the other. I'm not sure whether this is a design defect or a manufacturing defect on my particular bra (there's wasn't another one to try). I've never had this problem before, my breasts aren't particularly close-set, and the gore on the bra isn't particularly wide.
All in all, I'm happy with Nana. Read more 147 more words
I´ve got the same problem with the flipping wires, at the center gore, with another "Samanta" soft-cup style. I think it´s because they are very close together (I´ve heard Samanta is producing the most narrow center gores available), so they can´t adjust seperatly during movement through the day. The second reason would be the soft fabric they use. It is really compfortable and great for daily use, but it does not keep the gore in place. The "Samanta" padded styles are double lined and keep the wires better in place.
Samanta is another polish brand that I learnt to love for its great cuts for smaller breasts.
Especially the cut A345 seems to fit a lot of women who don't need very deep, but broad cups. The wires are wide, nothing is poking anywhere and the band didn't stretch out.
This bra wasn't available in my original size 65D, but I liked it a lot so I bought my "sister size" 70C and I've shortened the band (after taking the measurements, of course) https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
It provides a very nice round shape and looks great under T-Shirts. The cups are lined with very soft cotton and the ...outer fabric is so shiny and soft too!
I especially like the band, which is made from sweet and delicate green/turquoise lace.
Although it looks a bit like UK Halfcups (read: Masquerade Georgiana or Rhea, Curvy Kate Thrill Me & Tease Me) the cups don't show as much cleavage.
It really is a perfekt bra under shirts. If you want to show a lot of cleavage, you might want to try Samantas Plunge cuts (Samanta bras always come in at least 2 different cuts per style). Read more 84 more words
