Although this bra technically "fits"me, I don't think this a right fit at all. The straps feel like they are holding up the weight of my boobs and my shoulders hurt almost instantly. This sports bra works by compression, and I feel like if I exercised in this my boobs would sweat in the middle. Also this is supposed to be a high impact sports bra but my boobs wiggle way too much. I put it on the middle hook and that controlled the wiggle some, but I definitely could not power walk in this. Perhaps in a smaller cup size this bra holds the girls in, but ... not in a HH. Although their was no quad boob, my boobs were trying to escape on the sides. I would have like to go up to a J to see if maybe that would be a better fit, but alas, this only goes up to a HH and the band runs true to size so a 36 would be way too big. This bra also gave me no support, my boobs were hanging and the straps were already uncomfortable so I was not going to tighten them. I am sending this bra back. Perhaps encapsulating brasare the way to go for me.

I'm still a bit shell shocked that it fits me in this size - my old Shock Absorber size before migration was 32B.
Once I've managed to close the upper fastener, the bra is quite comfortable and feels a lot like the Shock Absorber Max (4490). I haven't gone running in it yet, but it seems to give extremely good support - it's a level 4 sports bra. Being a compression type sports bra, it does of course "flatten" me quite a bit.

This bra is also known as "Shock Absorber Pump", I think. This is the N2446 version.
I love the looks of this sports bra and I've always found it very comfortable. It is a bit hard to put on and take off and I closed it in the second eyelets from the beginning (my ribcage was 70 cm, tightly measured). The bra has fairly thin pads that are removable.
The straps were fine for me and I usually put all straps on the longest setting, so they might be a bit long for other people.
This top is classified as level 2 on the Shock Absorber scale, but I felt it supported me better than the N102 Classic (which is a level 3 sports bra).
This bra top does not quite fit me anymore - it fit well when I was still a 30C in other bras - and I measured the bust perimeter with major quadboob going on.

This tank top has a sports bra integrated that is very similar to the Shock Absorber Pump 4246 . I've always found it very comfortable, but I closed it in the second eyelet on each side from the beginning (my ribcage was 70 cm, tightly measured).
It has fairly thin pads that are removable, and it gave me great cleavage.
This top is classified as level 2 on the Shock Absorber scale, but I felt it supported me better than the N102 Classic (which is level 3).
This bra top does not quite fit me anymore - it fit well when I was still a 30C in other bras - and I measured the bust perimeter with major quadboob going on.

This bra is a little too small all over for me, but it works well when worn with homemade extenders. The fabric is firm and wicks sweat well, and the bra restricts motion pretty well for at least moderate exercise (elliptical). I don't care much for the colors, but the construction is attractive enough.

I LOVE THIS BRA. I can do sports again! I can jog without pain! I have literally cried tears of joy over this bra!

The band is very snug. Normally 30 bands are comfortable for me on the largest hook, but I'm able to fasten them on the smallest one. This one is a bit of a struggle to fasten on the largest hook, and the smallest hook would be impossible. It's fine for working out, but it is too tight to wear every day. I suggest sizing up if you are using it primarily for something lower impact, like yoga.

I'm very happy that you can also wear this ... bra as a top. It doesn't "look like a bra" as much as the separate cup, underwired ones. It also visually minimizes my breasts, which is a plus for me. I am comfortable wearing this without worrying about attracting unwanted stares. I also like that it doesn't come all the way up to my clavicle. I have the black one, but it is available in several bright colors as well. (Check eBay, I found mine for $20!)

Note: I intentionally bought this bra a cup size down because I have about a cup and a half difference between my breasts. I know you're typically supposed to size your bra to the larger breast, but I was concerned that I wouldn't get enough compression on the small breast if I did that. The larger one is a little smooshed and I have some spillage out the side, but it's not a big problem.

The band on this bra does run tight so you might want to size up.
It's not really a good fit on me, since my size would be around 32JJ / 34J but it's better than nothing. It squishes my boobs flat towards my body, so they do really not bounce when jumping. But since the bra is wireless I get that monoboob look. Also it's not really comfy, the cups are clearly too small and I have some breast tissue escaping on the side and on top.

The bra is way too small in the band, unfortunately https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
The material is great, really comfortable and soft. I've tried 36E and it was too big in the band, this one I can't fasten. So I think there are differences between colors – as usual. I'll have to try 34F in black, then I'll see.

A nice looking bra with a band that's WAY smaller than stated, as it appears. I would think this would easily fit a 24 back... I couldn't even move the hooks past my sides at a 26 back. The cups seem somewhat smaller than an F.

I've read a lot of good things about this bra. I own three in another color/size combination, in addition to this one. But to be honest, I don't like the bra very much - it was just better than anything else I was able to find at the time. To begin with, it doesn't completely cover my breast, which means that the top part of my breast is completely unrestrained. It also just doesn't prevent movement sufficiently for me to pursue any higher impact sports like running. Finally, because it doesn't have an underwire to push my breasts front and center, I find ... that my breasts are "in the way" when I try to perform exercises like the bench press.

Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, more than two years after the bra was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of the bra near the time of purchase. Since the bra was purchased, I have lost a band size and gained breast volume. Below are my comments on the current state of the bra:

This bra was actually too big for me in the cup when I purchased it. At the time, I should have gone for a 36GG. Now it is better in the cup than the 36H ones I also reviewed, but it is too worn out in the band to offer sufficient support now that I need a 34 band. I rarely wear this bra now, even though the cup size is probably close to correct.

I have to wear this on the tightest hook because of my band size change. I wear it about once a week. It isn't supportive enough for any cardio other than bike riding now (probably because of my breast growth), whereas before I could use it for cross-trainers as well.

It creates mono-boob. I don't mind the shape or whatever. I hate my boobs are touched. It brings discomfort and it hurts when I shake my body or jump really hard. I might have a small cup size, I don't know. See my review of SA Run, I compare https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> .

This is my sleeping bra, so the demands I set to its performance are somewhat different to what I'd want from a true day-wear bra. As I want comfort and soft support above anything else, it isn't in my normal size range.

    Pros:
    - Soft material, breathes well
    - padded straps are nice when sleeping
    - cups are big enough and since the material is so nice, there are no seam marks in my skin in the morning
    - keeps breasts snugly in place
    - tight band - if this was a regular bra, I'd think it was a 70/32 band

    Cons:
    - looks like a sports bra ... - not very sexy (DH can live with it, though... https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> )
    - since the function of this bra is based on compression, there's no space between my breasts => could be a problem in the summer if it's very hot
    - the strap adjustments don't hold well, I need to adjust them every third or fourth night
    - the band is pretty thin and tends to bunch up in the front

Its a quite a good Sports Bra. The Band runs rather tight so I would go not go down from your usual bandsize. My measurement have changed since I bought this bra and now it is slightly too small. The Band is still ok and tight but my boobs spill out on top and on the sides.

This bra was not a good fit for me. For starters, it had no underwire, which I think is necessary for D+ cups, especially when it comes to strenuous activity and exercise. Also, it runs very small. I take a 30G in most bras, and sometimes need to go down to a 28 band. This bra was very very tight. I had to use an extender just to close it. Also, the cups were at least two sizes too small. Even with the extender, I was spilling out from the sides and had massive quadraboobs, despite the fact that my breasts are bottom heavy and not full on ... top. So if you are a 30G, and you like the style of this bra, I would recommend you try 32GG or 32H especially if you're full on top.

I would not buy this bra again even if the size was right. I found the material in the straps scratchy. The bra itself does not look very flattering and is also uncomfortable. The shape it gave my boobs was very torpedo like. It was the pointiest bra I've ever seen. I felt like a Madonna wannabe. I bought it at clearance but promptly returned it once I tried it on because I knew there was no fixing it and I was very disappointed mainly with the sizing. I understand that there are size variations between different brands but come on - two or three sizes too small in the cup? and the band is at least one size too small? That's like trying to pass a 4 passenger sedan as an 8 passenger van.

I think it would be better to spend more money and go for the Panache variety of sports bras. They are far superior to this Shock Absorber in every way.

This bra worked really well for me in high-impact workouts (running, judo, etc.). It runs SUPER tight in the band, though, so you may consider sizing up a bit--if you are on the larger end of 28, this may be quite tight on you.

The back of the bra has an interesting setup. It has 2 separate sets of hooks and eyes separated by a keyhole. If you have issues with straps being too far apart, or have a less-full upper bust, tightening the upper set of hooks can help tighten up those two areas of the bra.

I found the split hook set up hard to fasten... easy to fasten the lower two, hard to fasten the top two.

Also, this bra produced a total uniboob effect, which I'm not fond of. And more than that, while I was in the bra, I found that my breasts were touching each other for a fair amount of their projection... I would think this would be really awful while getting sweaty.

I'll be sending this one back and likely not ordering another. I think I now know that I want an encapsulation type sports bra, and I don't think this one is it!
