This bra fits so great! It's incredibly comfortable and I'm planning on getting more of these in my new size. Plenty of padding and it's invisible under clothes! Great bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I've worn this bra twice now, both times for a full day at work. And well, I think it's a better fit than I initially thought it might be. I bought it in the VS semi annual sale for approx 75% off the full price and figured I try it as research. I adore the Body by Victoria lines with the crochet on and am a sucker for a longline so whilst I do love this design the pink citrus colour wouldn't have been my first choice. Until this and my other VS sale purchase I've stuck solely to unlined VS bras which I love and fit ...me well in a 32DD. I'm not usually a big fan of padded/moulded etc bras but they serve a purpose which is to cover my nips at work! I measure 30.5-31 inches underbust so when trying VS padded bras in the shop I just tend to focus on how loose the band is - noticeably looser than my usual 30 bands. But recently I've been wondering if I'm wearing too tight a band and if a 32 would be be more comfortable/just as comfy so given the cheap price I figure I'd get this, indulge in a pretty design and do some SERIOUS BRA RESEARCH re: sizing. I know otherwise I would be lusting after this bra at full price never knowing if it would work for me, when for a reasonably okay price I could be pleasantly surprised or put this badboy out of my mind and move onto new potential conquests.
So, shockingly this is the first longline I've ever had that doesn't roll up, even when sitting down at my desk for 8 hours people! It's seriously amazing. It's described as a bustier on the website so I wonder if the boning is firmer than what's usually used in a longline (??!), but hey, it does the trick! I love it, it's seriously like a little short yet supportive top! There are three hooks and eye sets so it's still very easy to do up compared to some other longlines I've tried. This is the demi cup shape so it's moderate coverage on the boobs with almost a sweetheart style necklace which is lovely. The cups are lightly lined akin to Freya half cups but with a little more structure to them but no padding as such. The gore is very low to the point where I don't really even notice it coming up between my boobs (although it tacks/sits against my chest as much as I would expect).
Another thing that has surprised me with this bra is that the straps are beautifully narrowly spaced, pretty much every bra I've ever tried had got technically too wide placed straps which results in the always being angled in to stay on my shoulders, but this feels like it's designed for someone with exactly my frame. It wasn't til I clocked this that I reflected how unusual and refreshing this is. The straps themselves are very slim (something I didn't think I was keen on but here it just works) and the same material as the bra itself.
There are clips at the back of each strap so they can be worn crossover which is a cool touch. The bra is very soft and I wouldn't hesitate to get more if I ever find them at the same price. The band stays in place and although it's probably not as tight as some would encourage (I can pull it at least 2-3 inches out), it's supportive enough for me and does the trick. The very light marks it leaves when I've taken it off also suggest it sits perfectly in my IMF and follows my breast root exactly. Who would have thought?! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":-D" /> Better than expected definitely. Read more 535 more words
I am IN LOVE with the back of this bra!!!!! This is the newest PINK bra from their "Date" collection. They all have adorable racerbacks, but this one is so different and cute. I love the rectangular look to it. It's perfect for summer and for showing off https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
If only it fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I knew before I even ordered it that it would probably be too small. But the girls have shrunk a bit so I figured maybe, just maybe I could get away with the DD. Everything on this bra fits perfectly except the ...cup depth, it's definitely too shallow and has a good deal of push-up. If I could just get even an inch more depth and cup height, it would be spot on!! I'm actually really surprised at how tight this band is for a 32!!! When I measured it I had to re-measure a couple more times just to be sure. I would say it's more of a 30 band, which works great for me! Very snug. The width of the cups is perfect, the straps sit nicely since they're Racerback and not too far apart. I love everything about this...except my nipples popping out. Lol. If I don't scoop n swoop, it seems to fit just fine. But I would definitely need to order a size up (32DDD). And YAY for VS finally expanding their size ranges a bit more, esp in their PINK line!! I was shocked to see this bra was even available in a 32DDD! But I was hesitant to get it because they always make their DDD bras with the cups so far apart and super wide. I honestly haven't even bought any bras from VS, or any bras at all for that matter (so not like me), for this exact reason. With the exception of the Very Sexy line, VS bras just aren't doing it for me anymore. And I only bought this bra, like I said, because of the adorable back on it. And I received a VS Gift Card as a gift from a friend. That, and because they were running a special on it with the matching panty. Honestly, trying this bra on only made me wanna go order myself a new EM CHP bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Where I know I can get the perfect cup depth, cup width, band tightness and even push-up for the same price. I'm trying to get rid of this bra because the cup size is too small for me. The band fits relatively well, but I have pretty large boobs so the bra is a bit too small! I bought it without trying it on because I thought I knew what size I wore, but apparently I was wrong! Because of that, it's never been worn, so it's in really great shape. If you have the same size as me, this bra will probably be a little small for you. It's sized true to a Victoria's Secret 36D.
This bra is super comfortable and in like-new condition! It's cute but sexy at the same time. It's very cute with open-back tops that would show the sexy black straps on the back. I am selling this (and other bras) because I work at Victoria's Secret and own way too many bras!
I made a commitment to measure ALL of my bras for here before listing them (even though most will probably wind up selling on eBay rather than here) so here we go. This bra doesn't fit me anymore, but its has average-wide cups and runs about a whole band size big. The cups run about true to size.
One of my current favorites - not bad for a bra that does not fit properly. I like how soft and nice it feels on - it's great for lounging around or under t-shirts. I can't say if any of this would apply in the proper size, but they do not make my size so.... The band rides up in the back and a little in the front middle. The gore floats, but there's no wire so I'm not sure if that's normal. My boobs tend to be a little center-full so the plunging style of this bra causes me to fall out a little if I lay on my side of lean forward.
Overall okay bra. It would be great if it fit properly, but I can't find one in my proper size sadly. It gives me good lift without too much projection, but I get quad-boob if I scoop. Looks good under t-shirts.

One of my current favorites (not for fit) because it is so soft and comfortable, aside from the band riding up. My splayed breasts sort of spill out at the plunge and out the sides a little. It's okay for casual wear under a t-shirt.
If you have comments regarding my shape and whether I've got any of this wrong, please tell me! I am new to this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I really liked this bra in the store, but that was before finding out about UK sizes (and everything else!!!). It fits OK but I need probably 1-2 cups bigger as I measure out at a 28F/30E. It is a very comfortable bra, if it fits correctly and gives huge left for not a ton of padding. My issues other than sizing are that I am FoB so the padding is too much for me and I'm also full in the center (splayed out) so the plunge causes me to fall out somewhat.
its too shallow at the bottom, the cups are too wide, and I think its at least 2 cup sizes too small. Idk, try something by cleo maybe. You might be right about the sizing.
Its really hard to tell what else, its such a bad fit all around
dbmamaz Thank you for the honest review! I ordered several bras (Cleo, Freya, etc) from Amazon and it's set to be delivered tomorrow. I ordered in sized 28F and 30E and I plan to list them on here and possibly ask for opinions. I hope yours will be among them! And ps - I agree about the overall horrible fit. I cannot believe the girl told me it was a perfect fit... Urggghhhhh so much money wasted!!!
What is your lying down (single) breast perimeter? I'm not sure a 30E, 28F will be deep enough in most brands
wendybien it is 8.5 inches. What would you recommend based on that?
We dont generally have a very high opinion about VS around here. I mean, there are a few women who actually fit in their bras well, but they are horrible about selling bras that dont fit to women who are not in their very limited size range
dbmamaz lol I am starting to see that and I honestly just want to off them all on mercari or something because I am SO sick of them. I never knew there was another way to measure for bras and that any other brand would be better. But now I know and I am so glad!!! I am so excited to get all my new bras in the mail tomorrow and hoping at least one will fit. I ordered a curvy Kate princess, two Cleo styles, and two freya styles.
I have a similar perimeter, and am a 30E/F in most bras. So maybe try a 30E/F or 28F/FF. VS sells 32DD and DDD I don't know why the fitter wouldn't have had you try one of those sizes instead, there is some obvious quadding, the larger sizes probably wouldn't have been a great fit because most VS stuff is quite wide and shallow, but at least there would be less or no quadding.
amandafire thank you for the info! I am really considering bringing at least this bra back since I have never worn it besides to try on. I'm pretty annoyed that she wouldn't have suggested it :(
Part of the tragedy of VS is that they teach their fitters a completely wrong way of fitting, and these young women believe this as gospel for the rest of their lives . . . they wont even fit themselves properly
dbmamaz I have a friend that used to work at VS and I don't know what size she is in, but I tried talking about bras once and it was a losing battle. Kittykat212 I would return it, if you have another hardly worn one I would try to return it too, if you can't return it, list it on Poshmark, Mercari, or ebay, VS bras sell fast on those websites.
Thanks again for your honesty dbmamaz and amandafire! You guys are great. I have been skeptical for a while now which is why I mostly wear bralettes. I just wanted to post up the bras I already have since it seemed like the thing to do! Lol!
Yes with 8.5" depending on your proportions I think 30E/F or 28F/FF sounds likely. If you're super projected, in many brands you will need to size up to get the requisite depth, even if you have some extra space on the sides of the cup. Foam cups tend to be shallower and fit a little smaller unless you are buying from the Polish brands.
I would return it too! Once you find a bra that fits the heavens will open up and the angels will sing! Glad you posted here for an honest review. I see the quadding too. Hope what you have ordered fits better or at least is closer. If you need help deciding post again as there is always help on here and great feedback.
I believe I am more FoB and full towards the middle. I measure out at a 28F so this particular bra probably is t the correct fit for me. The wires sit a bit lower than they should and I have some gapping under the armpit. I don't like that it's padded even thought it gives nice lift and shape. The fabric is amazingly soft but I don't like how tight it feels, despite not fitting me properly. I believe the cups are too small and perhaps made for someone with a slightly more even - to - FoT shape.
Upsidedown: Fairly comfortable. Does induce back pain, but seems to be sliding down.
Wires: Slightly too narrow and too short.
Gore: Bottom half of gore is flat, but it then begins to tip upward. Gore is not not to wide or narrow. It is too short, but the breast spillage isn't it's fault.
Cups: Gaping about an inch below the inframmary fold. Quad-boobing everywhere.
Straps and Band: Straps are perfect for me (I'm really used to this style). Straps adjust perfectly. Band is riding up slightly in back.
Comfort: it makes my lower/mid back hurt and I don't know why. It feels slightly supportive, but I do not like the quad-boob. It makes me feel like I need to constantly adjust it.
