I bought the 32DD thinking that it would be good to go down a band size for a strapless (I'm always a 34 band in VS bras… I sometimes will go down to a 32 in other bras depending on the brand). I was wrong. I actually bought two - the nude and black - in this style and they fit the same. The cups fit great and come up a littler higher than a normal demi (which I like since I have higher nipples) … but the band is unbearably tight for me. I still wear these bras, but I wear them with a bra extender. Without ...the bra extender I can only wear them for a couple hours before I want to rip them off of my body! Still, even with the extender these are a couple of my favorite push-up, strapless bras. I wore the nude one for my wedding (with the extender) and I was able to dance the entire night without having to adjust it! I would recommend this for a strapless bra… just double check your sizing for VS! Read more 77 more words
So this is about my 6th VS bra within the past month (can't help myself, they're just so darn cute n sexy!). This is one of their newer "Plunges" (The Close Up Padded Plunge). I've noticed lately that I can either do a 32DD or a 32DDD, depending on the style. I feel like the DDD def fits the girls much better without any quad boob but I also feel like the cups on the DDD are just gigantic! The wires/cup width is just so ridiculously wide for me. So I've been trying out a couple styles in the DD, and the cup width is just so much ...better for me. However, the projection and depth that I need isn't always there in the DD. This is def one of those styles where I feel a DDD would be much more suitable!
The band on this model seems bigger/looser than other VS 32 bands. I had it on the tightest setting and the band was still riding up a bit. It's pretty stretchy, also, as well as the straps. I had to tighten the straps more than halfway and it was like I didn't tighten them much at all. The wings on the band also seem a bit tall and are much higher than other VS bras. The wires, tho, on this are def narrow! And they do come up a little high but sort of curve back in at the top. The padding on the cups doesn't allow for much room but they def give amazing cleavage and lift the girls right up! Lol! And the coral colorway is so pretty, with a little dangly rhinestone at the gore. So pretty!
I'm def hanging onto this bra for those "special" nights, tho it's def too small. But I wonder if I'd get the same effect in cleavage in the DDD. Guess I'll just have to try this in a DDD and see for myself https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Read more 225 more words
This was the first bra that I purchased after being fitted at VS. I love the feel of this bra it rounds out my shape without a lot of padding. I feel real in this bra.
I've been on this whole Victoria's Secret kick lately, and after putting this bra on, I remembered why. So adorable and sexy! I normally wear a DDD in VS but after my last Very Sexy bra (with the racerback) in a DDD, I wanted to see how the DD would fit.
The cup width/wires on my DDD's are very wide, def too wide for my boobs but the bras themselves seem to fit, as the DDD allows for the projection and depth that I need. I'm not spilling out of the DDD as I usually am in a DD. BUT with the Very Sexy line, I think I ...like the way the DD fits me better. It doesn't look nearly as bulky and the cups aren't wrapping around my back. I do get some moderate quad boobing, esp after scooping n swooping, but I can make it work. And the cleavage I get in the DD is awesome!!! There are some VS models I can't swing, tho, in a DD, like the Fabulous, just way too small!! But they don't make the Fabulous plunge in a 32DDD. I have thought of trying a 34DD and taking the band in.
And this right here is why I have such a strong "Love/Hate" relationship with Victoria's Secret!! Lol! But I don't see them expanding their size range anytime soon, so I just have to make do. No other brand makes the girls look nearly as good as VS, granted the bras are never what you would call a proper fit on me. But to the untrained eye, you'd never know. Lol. The only brand that comes remotely close for me is Ewa Michalak, and I just can't afford to keep ordering from Poland not knowing if the bra will even fit! It's much easier with VS. This is an old bra and I really don't like it anymore... I thought it fit long ago but nope. Nope. Cups gape and the band is too big. Underwires poke into my side.
I love the fabric of this bra, is sooooo silky soft, It is a beautiful bra, sadly for me doesn't fit right, still wearable, but I have to be on the watch for cuadboob all day long, that means pulling and adjusting all day long, I guess if I could find a ddd would fit me right on the cups but the band would still be too big.. Other than that I could wear this bra all day long without a problem, it is very comfortable. Come on Victorias secrets you have to make bras in 28 and 30 band.... Please!! washed only by hand, I don't think this bra could stand a washing machine.
This is hands down the SOFTEST bra I've ever put on. It is so comfortable, seriously. I wish the band came smaller because it would be a hit. But of course VS doesn't go below 32. Shallow, wide set friendly. Very pretty.
Suuuuch a beautiful bra with the lace and sparkly details. Definitely a date night bra. Well constructed. Band is too big on me, cups a touch too small/short. This band runs tight for a 32 in my opinion, could work as a 30E possibly. Good for wide set, somewhat shallow boobs.
Super cute, kind of a leotard back band. Adorable lace detailing on the straps. Too big in the band and the straps don't adjust short enough as they aren't fully adjustable. Otherwise, it's very comfortable. This band is verrry generous, IMO. Even if it wasn't, a 32 band is too big on me.
Cute bra. It was a style VS didn't carry very long. It doesn't fit me simply because the band is too long and in the time I've owned it, I now know I need a 28 band. Due to the structure of the band, it wouldn't be friendly towards alterations. The gore does not tack most likely due to the length of the band. BUT, it is a very shallow-friendly bra - which I desperately need. The 6" cup width is perfect for me. There is a lace edge above the inner lining/moulding that I do not fill out - this might work better for shallow boobs with upper fullness. The band across the back is sheer lace. It doesn't work for me, but it would for someone in this size range who doesn't need a ton of structure or added support. I will be listing this bra here.
This is a lightweight bra with fully adjustable straps. The straps detach from the back enabling you to convert it into a cross-back bra. The band is made of the same stretchy fabric that lines the cups. It is extremely comfortable and makes for a nice t-shirt bra. However, I do feel that this bra is not meant for anyone with natural breasts of comparable size to mine. I have augmented breasts, so I don’t generally need firm support. Aside from the lack of support for larger natural breasts I feel this is a great comfortable bra.
I purchased this bra during Victoria's Secret's end of year sale. This bra has thin fully adjustable stretchy straps, so I honestly don’t feel this would work for women with full natural heavy breasts. I have augmented breasts so I don’t need much uplift or support as much as someone with natural breasts of a comparable size. This is a very lightweight bra and the cups are smooth with a slightly thicker padding towards the center of the cup providing good nipple coverage on cold days. The lace band is really stretchy, but comfortable and not itchy at all. Over all this is a great t-shirt bra for those who aren’t expecting supreme support. The pattern is bold and fun.
Well, I can't really write a proper a review as this bra doesn't fit...AT ALL. I bought this used off of eBay, but didn't realize just how heavily used it was. The band has been stretched out so far the bra literally just floats on my boobs. It stretched out to almost 35"! There's no way my 26" underbust could ever wear this. I'm pretty bummed, and a little angry. The color is really pretty tho, and it looks like it COULD be a great, comfy, everyday kind of bra if it fit.
Update: thanks to some lovely advice from a fellow BTB user (Nayanya) I ...altered the band on this and it's now a proper 28 band https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'm pretty proud of myself as this was my first time taking in the band. It's perfectly tight and snug now (measuring 23.5" and stretched to 28.5"). I do get some quad boob in this since I normally wear a 32DDD in VS but thought it wouldn't be as bad since its a Demi and not a push-up. Otherwise, it's very comfy and I can still wear it as a t-shirt bra (gives some nice cleavage). The straps are def far apart in the back due to the alteration but at least now this bra is wearable! And now I know it will be worth buying new in the right size. I really like this bra, and the teal color is so pretty! Read more 142 more words
Much better fit than the 32DD, but still have some cleavage and the underarm boob on the front still needs constant ticking in. It's not the appearance that bothers me but the feel. Overall a super comfy and supportive sports bra that stills looks nice, but I'd like to try a 32DDD.
I bought this "used/pre-owned" off of eBay, though the seller said she only wore it briefly to try on. It looks just about brand new. When I first took it out of the package, I instantly fell in love with the color!!! It's such a pretty purple!! And I love the pleats on the cups. And the fabric is SUPER soft! It's like a micro fleece material, so so soft!
But I don't know why I keep buying these 32DD bras from VS thinking they're gonna fit! This bra was way too small! I usually wear a 32DDD in VS but was looking for a lot more cleavage, ...so I decided to go down a cup size (my Incredible is a DD and gives me the best cleavage ever, tho the bra itself is def too small). But I can't swing it with this model. My nipples are being cut in half by the top of the cup digging in causing massive, ridiculous quad boob!! Haha, not even slightly attractive! I honestly don't even know if I could do my usual 32DDD in the Fabulous, considering how small this one is! It's a shame, cuz I'm really loving this bra. Everything about it is perfect! It would make a killer t-shirt bra, with an extra boost and nice cleavage, it's unbelievable comfortable (did I mention how super soft this bra is?), and the color is beautiful!! Another thing I like about this bra is the tightness of the band. I usually have a hard time with VS 32 bands, but settle for them cuz I don't have much of a choice in their brand (why won't you make a smaller band, and cups larger than DDD, for the love of God Vicky?!) Lol!! But the band on this seemed pretty snug and tight.
If you can fit into this, I highly recommend the Fabulous line! I think I'm gonna try a 32DDD anyway just cuz I love everything about this bra. The padding wasn't over the top either like most of their padded plunges, it was just enough. Ahhhh, sigh. If only I could get this bra in a 28G! I might have to start getting crafty with my VS bras and whip out the sewing kit!! I have never worn this bra before so I do not know how it will feel. These bras were purchased for me in the wrong size so I could not wear them. Like I said they are new with the tags on and in excellent condition.
The band is very stretchy. When I bought the bra in September, it fit perfectly on the last hook, but now in January it is pretty loose on the first hook. It doesn't poke. I like that the gore is shorter. I like that the straps aren't ungodly wide like some are for larger cup sizes.
