I ordered the 32DD mostly expecting not to fit into it. Boy was I wrong! (My measured ideal size is 30F or maybe 28FF) The push up bra gives me the cleavage I so desire, especially with shallow breasts. It is not uncomfortable at all and the band is surprisingly not too loose. If I properly scooped and swooped, there would be a bit of a quadboob but who cares! For close-set breasts, this bra is a dream. Glad I can still fit into VS sizes.
This bra feels amazing (and by that, I mean I barely notice I'm wearing it.) I have two of these now. The band is comfortably snug, and has a soft foamy elastic, the straps are also soft and foamy, and the back section with the hooks is extra soft and squishy. I would consider this to really be somewhere between a demi and full-coverage bra. The cups fit quite well. The lace and three seams do not create distracting bumps through my t-shirts like some of my other similar bras (Whimsy-Barbados & Montelle-Coquette) do.
I hope VS continues to make this one for a long time. The quality and comfort are excellent, and this seems to be the only one they make that fits my shape.
Given that this bra is 2 band sizes large, it actually is one of my favorites. It's cute, although when fully adjusted it's very slightly too small. Throughout the day, as my breasts settle into the cups more, it fits pretty darn well. It's comfortable, although the band rides up a bit and I adjust it in all the way. Still, the fabric on Victoria's Secret bras is so much softer and less irritating for my skin (I have extremely sensitive skin) than most bras I order in my correct size. I wear it whenever I'm going to any sort of event, because it creates slight and subtle cleavage, which my correctly sized bras do not.
Could be a sizing issue as I don't think I'm a true 32DD (probably should be 30E/DDD-but this was the closest I could get in an off-the-shelf bra around here), but I seem to have quadriboob in the center of the "plunge" (maybe plunges are just not for me-full on bottom?) and bulged up top a bit after swoop & scoop (settled later). The straps are too wide and digging into my armpit right where the strap meets the cup, there is some poorly placed lace on the sides of the cup, which is rubbing and actually giving me redness/rash. Still fits a million times more comfortable than ...the 32C/34B's I thought I was! I suppose that's why I was thrilled with it at first, til I started noticing all these issues as the day went on. Some might like this aspect, but it gives me a rounded, broad shape, just not the most flattering silhouette on my short frame IMO, just makes me look stocky! Keeping because it's the best thing I have right now, but personally would not rebuy. Read more 76 more words
One of the better fitting bras (barring the band, which is too big) that I own. I've been wearing the wrong sizes until very recently, when I measured myself to be ~30E rather than the 34B that I've been wearing. I wear this on the tightest hook since it tends to ride up the back if I don't (since new), but the cups fit me relatively well. Gore sits perfectly, the underwire is unfortunately a bit too wide, the straps are decently spaced apart, overall pretty comfortable.
Got this bra from the semi-annual clearance sale at Victoria's Secret yesterday, and was actually really surprised at how well it fits. The cups are actually deeper than other VS bras I have tried, as I usually need a 32DDD in order to get good tacking of the gore. On this bra, the gore tacks perfectly, without any poking or discomfort I usually get in 30F sizes. The band might be a little loose, because the back band is made out of a really stretchy fabric that I can pull pretty far away from my body, and it feels comfortable on the tightest hook (although that may be ...because I could be suffering from a bit of reverse letterphobia, and prefer a snugger band), but I can only get two fingers under the center gore, and it doesn't ride up, so I don't think this is a huge problem, although it could cause a lack of support for larger sizes, or someone who has more padding around their ribcage. My breasts fill the cups almost perfectly, with the top of the cups digging in just slightly if I breathe in deeply or lean forward, so it won't be very forgiving if I gain some weight. The shoulder straps are a bit wide on me, as most bras are since I have very narrow shoulders, but it doesn't cause any problems with fit or comfort. It also only has two hooks The lace and embroidery doesn't show through thinner tops or t-shirts, although the colors might make it visible on something sheer, and it's comfortable and supportive enough to make a great every-day bra, with the added bonus of being very pretty. Best of both worlds, so I'm really pleased. Read more 182 more words
I tried this bra in a 32D but noticed some quad boob. So I bought a 32DD which I have never done before. It fit much better but on both these bras I had to pull the straps all the way and they were already riding up in the back (which probably should have told me not to buy it). I asked the fitter and she said it looked ok. Once I began to wear the band easily wore out like maybe a month and it was loose. The cups started out alright, they were filled and i had minor gaping after I wore it all day. Now ...they gap when I first put it on. If I would have bought the 32D it would have lasted me longer. The center doesn't quite lay flat still. I find the cups on this are a little high and go up under my arms but the wires do not poke. This bra for some reason makes me sweat, which honestly I hate. Even after washing it it has retained a funky smell, I have never had this problem before. This bras saving grace for me however is it is comfortable fabric and it gives a great round shape under shirts. Read more 100 more words
This version of the Dream Angels Demi has a slightly more narrow gore than the Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Demi Bra (276-736) version. It would be perfect for me if it also had the power mesh in the band. Since it doesn't, I think it might stretch out a little more quickly. As it is, though, it's probably the best fitting bra in my collection and gives a great shape under all sorts of clothing.
I usually avoid unlined bras as I still look a bit pointy even in the best fitting ones, though I like how such bras look on their own. This one gives me a reasonably rounded shape under clothes without pushing me flat, but the gore is very tight on my chest in the center. I think it will get better over time, though, and I'm trying to break it in by putting a cotton ball or cosmetic wedge under the gore when I wear it.
Despite being Victoria's Secret's version of a full coverage bra, the cups are still fairly open on the edge so I don't quadboob out of it. I wore it with an extender for about a month and now it's very comfortable on the loosest hooks. It gives a really nice, 'natural' shape (like me, only less pointy), especially under dress shirts. My only complaint would be that the rhinestones look lumpy through some thinner shirts.
Before I found my proper bra size, I used to love this bra in 34A and later 32B. It's far better in the right size for me! However, the Dream Angels demi is very inconsistent from season to season (and even different colors in the same style or season). This particular one has power mesh behind the lace on the wings and a slightly wider gore. The gore borders on being a little too wide for me, leading to the discovery that I don't actually have wide-set breasts, they just look that way (splayed?). The power mesh really helps firm up the band. I'm between a 32 and 34 band, so I actually wore this with an extender for about a month.
So comfy, but yeah. This was a last minute purchase because it was on sale and another one of my bras died. VS was the closest store to me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I was probably obsessed to get VS bra since they have opened in London and I was goinhg there. I knew that 32 band would be way too big so I've shortened it like 6 cm. Cup size and depth is alright. Wires are wide enoung. Only problem is that straps are too wide and sit almost in my armpits. That causes a little bit spilling in upper part of a cup which starts to look quadraboob if i scoop my boobs properly. I'm thinking of modying this bra 2nd time. If only straps were moved 1-2 cm to center, fit would be perfect. Hope this modification also helps with push up effect, now it looks more like regular padded t-shirt bra.
Painful! This bra feels comfortable for the first couple hours, but after 2-3 hours I get horrible back pain. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This is a very lovely quite comfortable bra, and I wish VS made bra's to fit most normal women, but while I can make this bra work, it doesn't nearly fit me.
I'm careful about how often i wear this bra because I know (from experience with VS bras) that it will stretch out. When I do wear it, the molded cups fit my boobs perfectly. It actually lies almost flat against the gore. The lace does not scratch me. Since it is a few inches too large around the rib cage, it does ride up. Overall, besides the fact that it doesn't fit, this is a really good bra.
same as my other VS bra - bought a size too small in the cup and a size too big in the band (though i'm not even sure this one is available in a bigger cup size). SUPER comfortable, soft all over! i have it in black.
unfortunately, the straps aren't fully adjustable. until my other bras start arriving (and hopefully fit) i will be wearing this one lots, but i will probably end up sleeping in it in the week or so leading up to my period when my boobs are really sore.
even though it should in theory fit my right boob better than my left (bigger) one, my right boob falls out into the middle (i tend to list to the left when i'm just lounging) or i get a weird middle boob thing going on - i think it's because the gore is too wide and the cup is just too far off to the other side.
