This is a very well constructed molded bra that has wonderfully padded straps...unfortunately after washing once, the cups shrank a bit and no longer fit. Sad, since it was around $60 new.
The T-shirt type bra (it has seams, but wears undetected under thin shirts) feels well made and the band is true to size, but I just didn't pay enough attention to how my boobs fit into the cups. The center gore is squished outwards slightly due to breast tissue escaping the cups from the center (or out the sides if I pull them back toward my arms).
The bra itself has underwires that do NOT poke me in ...my underarms and the straps do NOT try to fall off of my shoulders (big thing for me). The shape of the bra gives me a rather flattened, but natural shape. I think this bra borders on being a minimizer, but it could just be because the cups don't fit right on me. The fit is excellent in everything except the cups, and it is very comfortable...just doesn't fit right though.
Overall, I would love it if the Wacoal bra came in my size--unfortunately, it only goes up to a DDD and I think I would need about two cup sizes bigger, maybe only one. Also, I wish that bra manufacturers would stop it with the flower prints on bras. Just my two cents. Read more 123 more words
It almost fits me, but not quite. The band is way too big (I measure 29.5" around), and the bra almost gets all of my boobs. In fact, most of the time it does, except when I reach up, I get a very slight quadraboob. I would recommend this bra to anyone with slightly smaller boobs. The band is pretty stiff, so despite it being too big, it's not bad.
I was fitted into this bra at Nordstroms. I was wearing a 34D or even sometimes a 36B. So the idea of 32DDD was strange at the time. Now I've done some research and I realize you shouldn't be adding 4 or 5 inches to your underbust measurement. So anyway, I like this bra but I think the wires are too wide for me. I know they are supposed to fully enclose your breast tissue, but I think this goes too far an the sides and it ends up hurting me. I thought at first I just needed to wear the bigger band sizes ( i measure 28.5 - 29" underbust) but now I have other 32 and 30 band sizes that are fine(sort of, see future reviews!). So I have come to the conclusion that the cups are too wide for me. Good quality though, it should work for someone with wider breasts.
Not my usual size, but bought it because I was desperate for a bra to wear under a particular dress and didn't have time to mail order. I know I shouldn't have, and will be returning it. It's a size too large in the band and 1-2 sizes too small in the cups, which results in a bubble boob kind of look while not being particularly comfortable.
Great sports bra. Fits super well, like a second skin. Only issue is that the nipple will show--but when I exercise I warm up so it's not really a problem. Looks...structured, so it's not very attractive by itself; I always wear a t-shirt over it.
Usually 32DDD bras fit me just fine...but this one, the band is about two inches shorter than my Chantelle - I can't even hook it! Unwearable, so I have to send it back. It's really too bad, the embroidery is so pretty.
Did you hand wash the bra, or did you wash it in a machine?
