This bra is not as soft feeing by the hooks and straps as compared to other Wacoal bras I tried, but I preferred how I looked in the bra. It gives a nice rounded shape under shirts too; in fact it looked the same under shirts as other Wacoal bras I tried that were a bit softer (but more coverage/higher gore and just the overall look wasn't as 'sexy' without a shirt). I literally only had 1 other bra that fit at the time I bought this, and caved in for this one as I felt prettier in it, although it would have been more practical to buy the one that may have looked a bit more matronly, but was more comfortable! The padding is extremely thing and just enough to give nipple coverage, but does not add excessive bulk. Although I'm finding I really prefer soft cup bras, even with my conical breasts, as a well-fitting soft cup bra will still give a natural and rounded shape that I like.
Wacoal is so weird. Sometimes its US sizing, sometimes its UK. This particular bra towards UK sizing.
This bra has a supportive firm band, doesnt really give the east west boob look that a lot of strapless bras gives me. A great strapless, thats why my frugal self paid full price for this. Its slightly too small on my larger boob, so technically it doesnt fit, but it is my go-to strapless.
I love how soft and squishy the cups feel. This is definitely the best t-shirt type bra I've found since learning about my new size. However, the band is too big for me and the cups just barely fit, even though they are the biggest cupsize available in this style. If I could sister size, I would, but since that's not possible, I'll happily wear it on the tightest hook while I continue the search.
Probably not for everyone, but I love it. On me, it definitely minimizes and compresses. It holds my breast tissue firmly against my body in a way that lets me basically forget I have breasts. I like that feeling sometimes -- all spare and sylph-like. Also my best bra for wearing under button-down shirts -- not only does it help them fit better, I like the way I look better (I only wear button down shirts when I'm going for that kind of gamine look).
I used to have this in 32DDD and it was always a tidge too small (but I loved the compression and was afraid of ...going bigger). 34G is a better and more comfortable fit, and still gives me the held-in feeling I want from this bra.
It's more utilitarian than pretty (though I do like the bright seasonal colors, when I can get them!), and it's not at all compatible with very open necklines, but those aren't deal breakers for me.
Interestingly, the wires extend much further under my arms than the ones on other Wacoal bras I have in the same size. This means that there is about an inch of cup fabric that's just lying flat against my body on the outer undersides. But the cups fit well otherwise and when I've tried going down a cup size, they're too small, so maybe this is done on purpose to achieve the minimization? I don't know! If any of you elite bra geeks reads this and knows what's up, I'd love to learn. Read more 148 more words
While this bra fit me, it didn't work for me. The main problem I had was that the cup encapsulated my breast tissue, but didn't do anything to keep the tissue from bouncing when I moved. Additionally, the construction looks a bit odd. It is basically an underwire that sits over a smooth piece of fabric. This is a good idea in terms of keeping the wires from irritating the skin, but it looks a strange. I definitely wouldn't want to wear this bra without a top over it like I often do with my sports bras.
The straps were interesting - they hook at specific places as opposed to continuously adjusting on a slide. I thought that was odd, but it isn't a terrible idea. It may work well for someone that has trouble with straps loosening.
While this bra seems well constructed and looks nice, it didn't work for me. The gore didn't tack - not sure if it was too wide or if the cups just weren't deep enough. The band is pretty stretchy - that makes it comfortable, but not really supportive enough.
It may work for someone with wider, shallower tissue.
Fantastic t-shirt bra if it fits your breast shape. I'm just moving all of my existing wired bras out of my wardrobe because my wireless bras are significantly more comfortable. Read my reviews for the 32H La Femme for details: http://bra.pe/XYAe/
If this were scaled for a petite body, it would be the one wired bra I can tolerate for more than 30 minutes.
*Wire is wide enough (6.7") to avoid poking my underarm breast tissue. What an amazing feeling! *Gore is remarkably low (1.2") *Lower gore is remarkably narrow (1.2") *Straps are wide and comfortable *Band is soft, supportive, and wide *Padding is sufficient for hiding prominent nipples *Molded cup tolerates center projection and better-than-most immediate projection
Perhaps, if Wacoal would create this bra for a 28 or 30 band, the scaling would work in my favor. But, the 34 scaling is simply too tall for my very short-waisted frame.
I purchased this in a bra shop, it felt ok for the 5 minutes I had it on but after getting home and wearing this a bit the straps had to be replaced as they were too short and I had to use an expander. In hind sight this may have been ok in a 36.
This bra is a candidate for wild alterations. I'll add it to Bratabase again when it fits https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
This was the bra suggested during my first accurate bra fitting for running specifically, working out in general. The sales lady told me that marathoners use it. (Anyone have verification of that or do so yourself, post in comments!) I've had this bra 2.5 years. I am not an everyday exerciser, let me be clear. But def used more than 100 times. I'm finally using the third row of hooks. Great quality. The way the straps adjust give the bra a custom fit unattainable in most sport bras, even those with a hook n eye band. Fixes a severe issue for busty ladies. I will be purchasing another soon!

I love it ! Converted me from dreading having to wear a strapless bra to choosing this bra for both comfort and looks. Purchased a black first, ordered a second in nude 1.5 years later.
I don't know why it's so magical but it has sticky strips along the top and bottom, and 4 pieces of boning in the wings and back band.
Only one problem I have with them is the durablity of the hooks. I noticed the hooks wear out quickly compared to other bras I have but I also use them so frequently that I wanted to try another brand and/or model. Compared to the one I got, this wins not even trying. (Other review here: http://bra.pe/XWhG/) If anyone loves this like I do with similar profile, are there any other favorite strapless bras you like?

I was first fitted into a 34DDD, but I ended up going back to Dillards and finding my best size on my own- a 34G. Even though I only went up 1 cup size there was a BIG difference in cup depth, where a US 34G feels like a UK 32G so keep that in mind. The band is interesting on this one. Maybe it's due to the double mesh but it feels snug on any of the 3 hooks, yet it can stretch. Like others have said it does give a conical shape but it's by no means a bullet bra. On me it's a softly rounded point, ...one of my favorite silhouettes and just so happens to be my own natural shape so I had no issues filling out the center of the cups. I like that it supports and gives great lift, contains all my tissue even my FOT, and is made of soft yet supportive lace/mesh. This isn't a comfortable sleep bra though, since the inner wires are so high up they chafe when I lie on my side. While I love that I get zero jiggle when wearing this bra (I seriously think I could use it as a sports bra) that's achieved because soooo much of the breast tissue/chest is covered. That is probably the biggest set back since you can't wear it with a lot of tops. I have close set, center full breasts and there is not even a hint of cleavage, that's how much skin this bra covers. I'd definitely recommend this bra to people who have physical jobs/lives or just want their breasts to stay in place. It's not for people who like rounded, traditionally sexy, versatile bras. I personally really love this bra though https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 192 more words
Scratchy for the first few weeks due to the lace, softens up, but then as the bra gets old the lace gets scratchy again. I wish the mesh were the same color as the bra, instead of white, because it makes it more visible under certain shirts and dresses.
Typically, I wear a 32GG/ 34G in UK sizes (Cleo, Freya). Based on the size index, I should be wearing a Wacoal/ US 32 J/ 34 I (of which, Wacoal only has 1 in 34 I). But, this bra seems to fit okay. The cup depth (~10.5 inches) matches some of the bras that basically fit me. Cups are stretchy and soft, so I can fit in it when I move my breast tissue to the side a bit. The band feels pretty loose. The gore does not tack at the top, and I'm not sure that it's meant to.
