First of all, I really like Wacoal bras. I own two now, and both of them fit me very well. They're comfortable to wear to me. And even though this one is beige, it's a pretty bra. It's lacey. I like for my bras to look pretty (unless it's a sports bra). So yes, I highly recommend this brand to anyone out there.
Liked the cups in a different version of this bra enough to try this one. The smooth fabric isn't itchy like the demibra, but the foam cups are stretchier and this translates to the cup being too big. It also flattens my breast tissue out in a way that doesn't look attractive at all. The bottom elastic of the band really digs into my ribs after awhile, despite the fact that the band is loose enough on me to ride up a little in the back. Again, I don't fill the bottom of the bra out at all.
The material holds my breasts up well. They end up feeling supported without being squeezed, despite the fact that the cup has a flat spot between boobs and underwire. This would be an okay bra for me if the fabric weren't. so. ITCHY. It's worst where the straps attach to the cups and at the underwire under the armpit (which does poke into the armpit if I push the wires up to the base of my breasts). Long story short: I can't wear this bra.
Bought this bra when I believed I was 34G but now found out true size is 32H. Would say that the band size is true 34 but cup size is US sizing so is actually equivalent to UK 34F so was too small in cup for me. Bra itself is a full cup style, offers good support and gives a natural, rounded shape. Quality is excellent.
This bra is lovely. It's the first full-coverage bra I've ever bought, but it is so comfortable and it fits like a glove, and it's actually pretty cute too. I normally can't wear Wacoal because I don't have enough bottom fullness for most of their bras, but I don't have that problem with this one.
My only complaint is that the lace shows through thin shirts.
This is a pretty nice bra, even though it is a little big in the cups for me. The fabric is all mesh and breathes wonderfully and does not show under clothes despite being textured. The detailing on the top of the bra cu can be seen under some tight tops, but otherwise is fine.
Straps and hardware (metal) are well made and hold adjustments well. One thing to note is that if you have lower breasts the straps may not adjust long enough for you as I have them ratcheted down and I have high boobs. The straps are not padded, but are cushy and stay put on ...even my narrow shoulders. The front attachment points are a little wide for me, though not as bad as the Freya Deco which really cuts the front of my shoulders/arms.
The wires are VERY long in the front of this bra and are very firm so there is n give. This would be fine for someone with a longer torso/lower boobs, but it just comes up way to high for me to comfortably wear on a regular basis or with regular buttondown shirts and even some conservative t-shirts.
The fabric is well made though is prone to stretching due to the breathable nature. The cups stretch quite a bit, so this bra would be good as a slack bra to wear when the boobs can't make up their minds what size they want to be. These cups are too big for me by about a size and a half, but I am thinking of removing the underwires since the rest of the bra would make a wonderful sleep bra.
If you have lots of tissue at the top of your chest beware--the top line of the bra cup may try to cut you across the tissue. It already is trying to cut on me and I am actually too small in the boob for the cup size (I took a chance on a $10 closeout sale).
Overall a good bra, even though it does not fit me as well as I would like. Read more 241 more words
It's pretty comfortable, though definitely a t-shirt bra, as it rides really high on my chest. Even medium low cut shirts show the lace. It has narrow enough wires for me, and while not a molded cup, has thick enough lace that nipples don't show through.
Despite it looking like a granny bra, it is quite pretty on. The cups actually fit really well, if not a smidge too big. The shape does not match my shape. The wires are wide and it is a full coverage bra. It shows under most open neck shirts. Perfect for T-shirts and modest necklines. It is great for light-weight and natural boob shape. I would keep this bra, but the band is too large and rides up.
This bra is soooooo close to fitting perfectly! The only thing I would ask for is for the gore to sit directly on my sternum. As it is right now, the bottom of the gore lays flat, but the top is maybe one finger width away from tacking. The band is nice and tight - as opposed to 75G - Chantelle ยป Rive Gauche 3 Part Cup (3281) , which I think could be a tad tighter.
Feel extremely supported and "fastened in" in this bra, if you will. Great t-shirt bra, but the straps are too wide and the coverage is too high for anything low cut or even a tank top.
This bra is comfortable with lots of support. It kind of reminds me of the "all purpose functional mall store" bra though. There's nothing wrong with it, but there's nothing that really stands out about it. The detailing on the side is cute though. I have this in red and it's great under t-shirts, no lines. I'd definitely recommend this!
This was the first G-cup bra I ever encountered, by chance at my local Macy's. As such, it was a revelation, as I had previously been cramming myself into 34DDs.
It has not been a particularly good bra. The band is too big; the cups are too small but too deep, and slip down practically onto my stomach. It is also possibly the largest, ugliest thing in the world, and the shape it gives is slouchy. However, I have to give it the respect it deserves for introducing me to the *possibility* that there might be bras out there better than it, that would work for me.
Perfect for shorter boobs. OH, I wish this came in 34I.
Anyway, obviously too small, but it is perfect in cup/apex height and center gore height. I am going to have to find a 34H, 36G, and 36H to see if those work. I think a 34I would be perfect, but I don't think Wacoal makes I-cups.
(Note: measurement for wire length was estimated from the picture of wire width measurement.)
Very comfy, cute, but a little more coverage than I prefer. Great for work. Gore floats a little at the top, but tacks at the bottom. I think this is just because my breasts sit very close together. This is the first unlined bra I have ever worn (I think). I was skeptical at first that it could be supportive, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very supportive, and I was surprised that my nipples didn't show through. I prefer a bra that gives a rounder shape than this bra, but it by no means give me "torpedo boobs". I am pretty new to properly fitting bras, so I was shocked that I didn't have to constantly readjust myself in this bra (or other new ones I have gotten). Fantastic.
I just happened to stumble upon this bra at the clearance section at Ross. I desperately needed to replace my old bras since I had lost about 15 pounds within the past few months. When I purchased this bra I had idea what size bra I should be wearing. I had been squeezing into 38DD or 36DD bras for years before I found this website. After using the bra calculator at Sophisticated Pair I realized how wrong I had been about my bra size. I should be wearing a 34G. I really like this bra but it is not quite a perfect fit. The cups are not quite big enough for me so the gore does not sit flat against my chest. However, the bra is comfortable and the band is nice and tight. It does lift the breasts and helps to minimize them a bit. It looks nice and smooth under tops and the underwires are not bothersome. I can't return the bra so I will have to keep it while I continue to search for new bras.
