The fit of this bikini top is ok. I could go down a band and up a cup to a 28GG and have a more modest and proper fit, but as a bikini, I'm ok with some cleavage. The gore doesn't tack on this bikini top, but I imagine it is supposed to. It doesn't bother me, however, I might need to practice caution when entering and exiting the water in case of any unexpected wardrobe malfunctions (yes I still use that reference 10 years after the fact). I can reduce the risk of that happening by using the straps it comes with https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" ... alt=":)" />
I'm very neutral about the design. It's cute, but maybe too cute for me with the heart in the middle. I've seen people remove it and put little buttons in its place. I have the bottoms in size S and they fit nicely (my lower hips at the widest are 37.5 inches).
All that being said, this bikini is the best strapless "bra" I have ever owned. The front design is what I'm looking for to create cleavage. While the gore may not tack and the wires are not sitting exactly at my IFM, the bikini very firmly encircles my bust and doesn't feel like it's on the verge of slipping at every move. What would make this bikini an even better strapless bra is if it had a ton of hooks in the back, but it actually does a much better job staying up without straps than my Deco Strapless and Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless bras. Not everyone will agree with my strapless fit preferences, but this is the only setup that seems to work on my narrow ribcage. When I wear strapless bras big enough to enclose my breast tissue, there's too much bra and too much weight added on the band, which is always too loose. This causes said strapless device to slide down to my waist. This doesn't happen with my Lucille bikini.
