Hi,
I am wondering where I can buy Comexim, Eva Michelle, and Cleo bras (or any bra that would fit me) online or in Chicago. I prefer online because I live 2.5 hours from Chicago, and if I make a trip to the city trying on bras is at the bottom of my priority listI wear a 30 DDD in Bombshell Boudoir, but this line was discontinued. It ran small, and I think I should really be wearing more like a 30 DD. Any online stores you would recommend?

I want to order 2 Comexim plunges. I even know which ones, my size (I think), and the alterations I would like. I've been researching and planning this for months, and also hesitating for months. I am short & narrow rooted, very close set with even fullness and immediate projection. Here comes the heresy! I am hesitating because I question ... whether Comexim is too shallow for me. The 75 band is perfect, nice and tight on the outside hook. However, my 75H Basic, 75H Lorraine, 75G Scarlet (altered at the gore with a tuck) and 65J Luna (worn with extender) all do the same thing: start out great but by the end of the day have that tell-tale fold at the bottom of the cups. Yet Comexim is well-known on here and elsewhere for being deep & narrow. So, am I missing something?? Or is Comexim shallower than generally reported? Since the G does the same thing as the H, I don't think sizing up is the cure. I realize this is close to a fit request, but since it is a general question I was hoping to get some wisdom before taking pictures. Thank you everyone!

There is one person on ABTF who repeatedly tells anyone who'll listen that Comexim plunges are soooo shallow at the underwire and folded over on her. I've never seen that reported anywhere else. In my case, they're the only padded bra I have ever found that stays in my IMF.
Pictures and a fit request may be of help, here. Are you sure it's not a wire width issue? If they're too narrow, your boob won't get into the bottom of the cup, and will create orange in a glass.
Ughh that person's advice always annoys me. Certain Comexims do seem to be shallower at the bottom. My Basic really is fairly shallow at the bottom (but nothing like a Deco) and much more projected at the top. But yeah, for me as well Comexims and EMs are the only padded bras I can do. Maybe try some of the more projected cuts? Poison Ivy, Free time, and Summer time are all very deep cups. I found Geisha very projected as well. It could very well be a wire width issue though. You could always try the halfcups and see if that changes anything.

So I'm converting my mother! I convinced her to let me buy her bras to try so I bought five from Amazon prime hope they fit! I roughly measured her it's funny our measurement ratio is exactly the same hers is just slightly bigger like I measure a 32g/gg and she roughly measured a 36g/gg. I'll as the bras measurements later tonight after class and let you guys know how they workout for her!

Sadly she was dizzy and didn't feel good by the time I got home (she didn't look good). Hopefully tomorrow it will happen :) I got her the freya oh La la the freya patsy Cleo mini and panchae fern :)

For my friend's upcoming wedding, one of the presents I am getting her is an EM babydoll, specifically the Koszulka one. How does sizing run on these compared to her bras? Is it similar/the same, or off at all since it's a babydoll? I wear a 75H in her SM model, and my friend is similarly sized, if not a touch small. Size it's for more boudoir, I thought I'd get her a 75GG. Any one who has experience with her babydolls, please help!

From what I understand the babydolls use the same pattern as the 3DM/SM for the bra piece.
If you think she'd wear a 75GG in an SM, that's what I would purchase as a babydoll.
It says right on the page that in your size range its based off of the SM bra. Too bad there are no reviews about how tight/loose the band runs.
Here is a review of the Only for You babydoll in black - she says the band ran firm, which would indicate that you might want to do the 75GG, except of course the red fabric might run differently.

I really love my Elomi Betty/Jocelyn bras, but they are really too big in the band. I've taken them up, but the tuck is just not super comfortable on my skin, and now they're too stretched out. Mainly I love that they are a true plunge and that they are designed so that the straps are fairly close ... set. These are two features that are make or break for me. Plus, the 3 piece vertical seamed cup is the bomb at keeping my girls where they're supposed to be. I honestly wish that Elomi would just increase their size range to include smaller band sizes, but until then, I need some bras that fit again. Is there a brand that basically makes the Betty in a smaller band size?

Elomi is introducing 32 bands this fall. The Carmen starts at 32GG and comes out in October. You might want to check out their site to see if they have any others coming out.
So, I'm kind of having a freak out session where I don't know whether or not my bras ACTUALLY fit me or if I'm just forcing them to work out of desperation to have a good fit lol. I am thinking about buying the b.tempt'd perfectly fabulous spacer t-shirt bra, but I am not sure. the b.wow'd and the sheer delight bras are great for my shape (tall rooted) but the ciao bella and the b.delighted strapless were awful for my shape. the ciao bella's underwires at the gore were painful and the cups were more horizontal than ... vertical. as I have tall roots I need a vertical cupped bra that is very open at the top edges of the cups. the b.delight'd strapless cut into my tall roots.
My only concern about the perfectly fabulous is that it might cut into my tall roots if the top edges of the cups are not open enough.

I'm looking at bras that might work for my omega shape. I've suspected for a while that my breasts might be omega shaped, but thought they were pretty shallow. It turns out they're relatively projected, narrow, and omega.
I love my (new) Panache Andorra full cup in 28F and my (newish) Masquerade Persia in 28E (there is wrinkling in the lace ... for persia, but it's not visible under a shirt), but besides this I've only found that shallow moulded bras work. I tried the persia in a 30DD, and there's way more wrinkling, I think because the wires are wider. So, I think narrow and projected bras work for me (but I love my Cleo Karen and Masquerade Rhea bras still). In reality, I think the Andorra full cup is the first bra that I've found that actually fits me. The Persia is very close (in 28E, but I must wear an extender).
Is there a difference between the Panache Andorra balcony and the full cup? I keep seeing reviews for the balcony, but haven't seen it on here, so I think they're the same.
Also, are there any guides for Omega shaped breasts, or great blogs for omega shaped breasts (especially smaller sizes)?
What other bras work for omega shaped breasts? So far, I've read that Panache Envy and Jasmine and Comexim bras work . Any other suggestions? What about Comexim? The basic that I tried was too high, and I don't want to necessarily have to get custom bras.
I also need to update my bras here. I've lost some weight and bought new bras. This amazing fit of the andorra has inspired me.

H_Allice So what do you mean by "omega shaped"; pendulous?
Panache Envy and Jasmine both only go down to a 30 band if that is a consideration. Envy is slightly more FoT with slightly wider wires. For narrow and projected in this size range, Freya unlined plunges might work. I'm afraid I don't know much about Omega shape in particular, but I am narrow and projected in a 28F. Comexim has some models with shorter cups than basic (I've found that to be one of the taller ones). Poison Ivy, Tropical Garden, Emmanuelle, and Tiffany all are shorter cups even without alterations.

So I've been doing some research and creating spreadsheets and generally just having a grand ole time, when a couple of things occurred to me. Like: Why do we only measure the horizontal depth? Wouldn't it be helpful to measure the vertical depth as well? And why don't we measure the length of the straps, both fully extended and fully ... shortened?
And why, for ******'s sake, don't the companies actually list this info anywhere?
On the upside, I think I'm going to keep the two bras that I was debating on; they ended up fitting pretty well once I wore them for more than 10 minutes. They'll probably fit even better once this stupid water retention subsides, lol.

JJ has indicated that he didnt want too many data points because he was worried most users would give up if it took any longer to enter a bra. Other ppl have asked about adding cup height.
and yeah, it really bothers me that companies dont give any ACTUAL information about the fit of their bras. The closest they come is to say what bra is based off of what other bra. But they advertised Olivia as being based off of Floris, but failed to mention its more closed on top. Mmmm . . . no, doesnt work.

I have found that the Cleo Neve/Koko Strapless fits me very well, as does the Marcie. The Maddie and Juna fit me terribly. Which shape do the Jolie/Christina cater to?

I have the Jolie in 28D and 28DD. The 28D fits me quite well, so I would say it is relatively true-to-size. I am conical, even, and slightly shallow.I like that the gore on the Jolie is lower (more halfcup than balconette) as I am rather close-set. The wires are more narrow so if you need wide wires it probably won't work for you. The straps are also surprisingly not too wide. The cups aren't that tall. I feel that the wings are so short though. Haven't tried Neve/Koko though so I can't really compare.
I'm having difficulty deciding whether or not certain bra bands are too tight for me. I am used to wearing my bands pretty tight, so perhaps what feels like a fine fit to me actually isn't a fine fit. Also, I notice a lot of my bra bands squish my fat/skin/tissue around my rib cage so that I have a ... pretty noticeable indent while wearing the bra. Ideally, I'd like to have smoothness there so the indent can't be seen, both while wearing a shirt and not wearing a shirt, but I'm also afraid that I'll be compromising support. Thoughts? Opinions? Band fit is the one thing I have a lot of trouble with, so I'd love input!

i have similar issues. i find that having wide wings, not long-lines, and a u-back, work better for smoothness.

I've got the same problems (my andventure's here http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlixm/), wide wings work great (best for me is 34E - Parfait By Affinitas » Charlotte Padded Bra (6901) ), but longlines (I've got my Freyas) work pretty good too, mainly on the bottom. On the top it's not smooth, but it's better than in my adventure.

I would at least look at the models on bratabase and see if there ARE any measurements. It can be at least useful for someone trying to compare what they had with what they want next? but VS is pretty hated here lol
dbmamaz I'll do that-- and LOL I know! Actually, I got mastitis last year just a month or two after getting new bras from them, that the fitter insisted fit me well. The doctor told me mastitis is usually caused by *drum roll* ill-fitting bras!
I had noticed on the ABTF subreddit that a lot of girls who DO genuinely measure out within that size range do wear VS, La Senza, and the like, though. I will poke around and see if measurements exist for the models I have.

I wish they had gone into more detail. A step-by-step video would be useful. There are 50 pieces in a high end bra? Show me every piece being incorporated, as well as the machines used to do it. Then contrast that with a video of a $25 bra being assembled. Maybe we'd stop hearing so many complaints about the price of bras.

pretty amusing.
But yeah, without anything to compare the process of making a $50 bra to, I call shenanigans.

Cup heights added in both pictures and reviews for the bras I still own. I have an order coming in tomorrow, and the exchanges in a few weeks for the ones that didn't fit from Brastop.

Enlisting my partner's help later this evening so that he can take pictures of me measuring my bras' cup heights. This gives some accountability for *how* I'm measuring, and gives a visual idea of what I'm doing to anyone who wants to try doing the same.
I know it may not be feasible for Bratabase to add this aspect to bra measurements (optional or otherwise), but I'm hoping to at least track what works/doesn't work for myself and others with similar breast size or shape.

I'm going to start measuring the height of my bra cups and adding it to the "Notes" section for my bras. I'm noticing that this is a huge aspect of fit for myself and others, and I'm surprised it's not already a thing.

That's a great idea! I've found that cup height makes a difference for myself as well.
I think adding it to the measurements has been brought up before, but Jj is reluctant to add more since some new people may feel intimidated by what's already there.
How would you meaasure height of the cups? I'd add it to mine if I knew a good way to measure. It seems like just measuring on the outside would make shallower bras look shorter than projected ones even if that's not the case.

so im wanting to get myself a set from their encore sale, but i cant find any size chart that lists actual measurements for their bottoms. does anyone have a size XL or XXL they can give me a waistband and leg opening measurement for? sometimes brands run tiny, and sometimes they run huge, and i can never seem to ... have the same size in any two. help would be so appreciated!

So I finally got my mom to let me measure her (because the 40Cs were definitely not cutting it) and we ended up with 34G. She's definitely pendulous with VERY soft tissue and appears to be more full on top. Does anyone have any recommendations for bras to try? She's very resistant to the size, but she was slightly convinced when she tried on a 34G Natori Feathers that fit much better than her current bras. She's worried about underwire pain and is apple shaped. She doesn't want anything with padding for heat issues. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't have any suggestions, just wanted to say that i think Natori uses US sizing so keep that in mind. US G = UK FF
I wish everyone could just use the same system... sigh.. And yeah that one the gore didn't tack and she has some side boob escape. It was markedly better than the poor 40C bra though. Makes sense now why it looked smaller than it should have been.
