I got a Flourish Longline! I ran into one on ebay today at an alarmingly low price and got into a short bidding war over it. I'm worried that the other bidder might be a member here or on r/ABraThatFits so I feel kind of guilty about it. If it was one of you, um... I'm very sorry and I'll be more than happy to pass it along to you if it doesn't work out for me. The only thing that would make it better is if it were white.

Comexim has Joy! In a half cup AND longline. I have oodles of non neutral bras already.
But... It's Joy! It's all sorts of pretty colors. Who couldn't use more joy?! With matching panties?!

So the bra I ordered for my mom came in today. Gah, so close yet so far... After some research and the closest thing to a fitting she would allow and we agreed on the Elomi Betty Plunge Bra (8170) in a 36H. I figured a 34GG or H probably would've fit better but I found the ... 36H super cheap on eBay so it's not that big of a loss and it gives me a good idea on where to go next. If it was the right size I imagine it probably would've fit pretty decently shape wise. I'm thinking maybe going for a 12ish cup depth for next time considering shape not sure. Soft tissue, more Fob with more center fullness and maybe pendulous. Any suggestions to what I should look for next?

So my crazy return / lost package / found package / defective replacement story has a happy ending. Anna was very gracious in her dealings with me after I emailed her about the defective bra, and I now have a perfectly defect-free Comexim Sapphire a mere 2-ish weeks later. All in all, I have to give Comexim 5-stars for communication ... even with the language barrier. Comparing the defective bra with the new one has calmed my fears that Comexim had changed any sizing in their newer designs; this 70G plunge fits pretty much like my other 70G plunges, while the defective bra is quite a bit too large. Hooray! This means I will be a continuing Comexim customer.
Anyway, a hearty Comexim recommendation from me to all who are thinking about trying! And for those in the US, the exchange rate is pretty good right now, really.

It sounds like the next step is to write to retailers and let them know you are looking for 32Ls and you really like (whatever brands) and you hope they can get some in soon . . . even playing dumb and not konwing they arent being made, if the bigger online retailers start hearing the pressure, that might help
of course, it would be interesting to see how much business they are doing in their biggest sizes that they already carry . . i'm sure that matters too. I remember seeing a blog post here saying that if we want more options, we need to buy bras at full price. I mean, its painful lol but important. I got my first floris at half price and i'm actually losing my resolve about buying the white one I wanted for so long, but i am pretty committed to buying it lol I guess at least on amazon they have it bands 30-38 up to a K cup.

I want to get envy body from panache I read some envy bra reviews I found this one : envy is round shape and between jasmine and andorra full cup. I don't know about jasmine but I have andorra and my andorra is 28J ,which gave me perfect fits

One nice thing about the envy is the stretch lace - very forgiving either way. but i havent had either of the others.
But if you look actually - 28J andorra says 12.6 cup depth, 30HH envy says 12.3 and 30K envy is 14.3, which means 30J envy is probably about 13.3, which would be way too big

The bras I have that fit the best are my 36DD bras, but they are so hard to find! Especially if I want them to be cute. I tried the "sister sizing" method to try to find more that might fit, like 38D and 40C, both of those have been more of a failure. I always have the same problem ... that the wire digs in under my arm (even if the cup and band seem to fit good).
Any suggestions to this sister sizing thing or should I just stick to the one size from here on out?
(Also, I am kinda cheap and seem to resort to Walmart and eBay shopping a lot, the most I have ever spent on a bra was maybe $15, maybe that is my problem?)

Sister sizes will never fit as well, but it also does depend some on the actual cut. But 40C is never going to come close to fitting.

Just a thought - there are 2300+ listings on here, but some are over a year or more old and posted by users that haven't been here in months. I ignore those because I don't expect a response. Is it something to consider maybe, adding a functionality where the listing automatically expires after 6 months or some time ... frame like that? Like the user gets a notification to relist if they're still an active user and interested in selling. Could cut down on the amount of stuff to wade through. Like if I search by my bra size, then I find myself opening listing that are from January 2014 and if I click on the user they haven't visited this site in quite some time. Or does this kind of "filter" option already exist when you do a search and I'm just blind.

Well, they default to being listed in date order, so I only go through 2 pages of listings and ignore the rest. But that is a thought - the system already reminds you if you have old fit requests out there

Yeah... I guess in my size there's maybe fewer listings to begin with, so ones that show up on page 1 are already several months old.
Plus if I'm on the bra page itself and see "listed bras" under the measurements and click on it, those are sometimes very old. I'm not trying to overly nitpick or be negative, just something I've noticed.

I ran into an awkward situation yesterday when a BTB user bailed out on me halfway through a swap when finding out I was not in the US, as "not comfortable with overseas shipping". At first I was taken aback, feeling kinda humiliated by this, but then started thinking - well I really don't have much experience on transactions with ... only one successful bra transfer on this site and that some users may have had problems, so that the "overseas fear" could be legit. On the other hand, I regularly ship and receive packages, documents, laptops, uniforms, paperwork between Croatia and the UK, US, Japan and elsewhere and haven't had a single signed package lost in the last 15years. By all means, it is every person's right and free will to decide what they are comfortable or not doing, and I also understand caution, but do you think it would be fair then stating these preferances clearly, checking things upfront and avoid a situation that ends up really uncomfortable for someone else? Also, what can be done to make transactions safer if there is some kind of an issue here? As a newbie I have little to rely on, so would very much like to hear your experiences and thoughts on this.

Hi! I'm sorry it was a humiliating experience for you. But to be fair, on sites like this and braswap, I think it's pretty common for someone to express interest in a bra and then change their mind for whatever reason. Expressing interest is not a binding contract like bidding is on ebay, so its nothing personal. Also, forgive me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see the shipping country on the listing. It's my fault for assuming US, I sometimes forget this is an international community. I've received packages from overseas, but never sent them. I'm a little wary of high shipping charges/hidden fees, although people have told me it isn't something to worry about too much. I also have had bad experiences with USPS delivering domestically, so I know if there was a problem with my package going overseas it'd be a lot harder to resolve and of course I'd want to provide a refund, so I'd be losing the bra and the cost of it. Overall just a personal preference, and not something I meant to make into an awkward situation for you
P.S.- I wouldn't really label it a 'fear', either. Fear is a strong word, and overseas shipping is not something I'm afraid of haha, more just something I
don't care to hassle with :)
Thank you Ol for contibuting to this topic. As I said it was kinda humiliating for a moment, I was feeling second class and shut out, but i did not think it was personal - more like bad etiquette. The whole situation started a thinking process and opened a broader perspective. I would like to understand whether I need to prepare myself for such situtions in the future and also whether some users generally think that a national transaction is safer than an overseas one and if so why. I'd like to hear users experiences both positive and negative in order get a clearer picture, raise awareness about the possible dangers, but also to eliminate unnecessary fears that can discriminate users from fully participating. I really would not like to make any comparisons to e-bay or any other profit oriented sale site, as it is neither user built nor created to be a community that is helping its members. My post is not about whining about somebody changing their mind about something, but about wishing to understand why these things happen and how we can help each other instead of shutting each other out.

Well, not all. I was having a dramatic moment. Anyways I know a few of us have lamented the fact that we've not found The Bra that requires zero adjusting throughout the day. Now that I think I have the band thing figured out, I'm finding that the adjusting I have to do always concerns either the center or the ... center/top edge of my boobs. I have to tuck a bit of boobage back in, even if it's not often. Since this has happened regardless of bra style - plunge, balconnette, full coverage, strapless - and happens when the gore tacks & when I know I couldn't possibly need to go up a cup size, what could this say about my boobs? It happened with my high gore bras too like my Charlotte that gapped ridiculously in other places. Is my tissue just softer than I think it is? Am I chasing a perfection that doesn't exist?

Are they too shallow just near the gore? That can happen even with bras that are too big for you in overall volume.
Happens to me all the time as well - unless I am tightly squeezed into a bra that is clearly too small, but for whatever bizarre reason very comfortable ( Wacoal Alluring Full Figure Underwire Bra (855107) 34H - I usually wear UK size 32HH).

I got a 65E Comexim sent to me and by some weird twist of fate the wires aren't crazy narrow. In fact they seem to be about as wide as my 28E Cleo Marcie o.o

32GG was too small in the cup and 34H too large in the cup but Amazon doesn't have the 32H and the 34GG is twice what I paid for the 34H

I finally have some well-fitting Ewa Michalak s!! They are three different sizes, but all fit very well! Two are 3DM (Amorek and Kusidelko) in 70DD and 65E. I wore Amorek all day today (with matching thong....so adorable) and it was very comfortable. This set is seriously girly (usually not my thing) and I ... must say it is so cute. I find both band sizes quite comfortable and supportive (27 UB for reference).
I also replaced my too big 65F Ewa Michalak Chp Lawenda (588) for a 65DD, a very good fit.
It is too bad there are hassles and customer service issues with EM, as these bras are really nice. I suspect I will be purchasing from them again in the near future.
Go with matching panties, for some reason it makes them even nicer to wear.

As I've gone on this journey to proper bra fitting, every time I find a bra that fits better than my old ones, I get really excited. "YES, I've finally found it! The bra that answers all of my life's problems!" So then I usually order several more like that. And then some time later I discover some problem with ... that one or just something better about something new, and so repeat.
Like a couple years back I got a Bravissimo Satine (AU15) in a 30HH, and it seemed like it fit great and I was pretty happy with it. I stuck with just that for a few months, but finally I ordered two other colours. And boob-life was pretty good for a while.
But then I ordered my first Comexim Basic (170) recently, and I'm so excited at the fit. It's made me realize all the things I ignored with my Satine - as in, the wires actually encase my breasts, and the straps aren't as too wide, and such! So now I'm very tempted to go order a bunch of Comexim bras in different colours. But I'm also feeling a bit wary, because maybe in another couple months I'll realize that this bra too is lacking in something or other, and some other brand/bra will contain the answers to life, the universe, and everything?
So I was just wondering how long you Bratabasers tend to wait if you find a bra that you like, before you order more. Or is that not actually a thing at all?

No really. Right now it seems I'm waiting just as long as my wallet forces me to wait. But I do understand what you mean. I have a couple bras that work great but it doesn't take me long to nitpick & find tiny flaws. Not sure the "perfect" bra actually exists! I'll be like YES this is it & within a couple days or weeks I've found something I think could be improved upon lol. So far I haven't bought a single bra yet that I've felt deserves owning multiples of.
Hahaha increased pickiness is definitely a thing, especially for people who are in the first year or two of their bra-fitting journey. And then there's the fact that some of us are just plain fickle (guilty!!!) and honestly we will always like the shiny new well-fitting bra over the one we've had for 6 months.
However, personally, I try to always talk myself back to earth by asking "is it comfortable? do I like how it looks under clothes?" If the answer is still Yes for my old ones, then maybe I don't need to ditch those yet just to buy 14 of the shiny new ones.
