I am wanting to try Polish brand bras. I'm looking for a round projected look. Anyone wanting to clean out their drawers? I'm not sure of my size so hoping to find some used bras from members on here. I have two Ewa's so far, a ch in a 34G & a PL in a 34GG. I wear a 32GG in Freya. Wondering if I should try a 32 band in the polish bras? The 34G I have seems to small in the cups.

...Have arrived. Juliette is beautiful. Very luxurious. But the darn matching briefs were not included in the package. I am majorly bummed out. I contacted Anna from Comexim, so we'll see what she says. I hope they send it out ASAP in an envelope or something. Band is definitely not tight! Very similar to a size 30 Cleo (ordered comexim ... in 65, I'm glad I didn't size up). Not sure on the fit of the cups yet! But the narrow cups seem to be ok on me.
Cleo Bella is beautiful. Like most Cleo's, it suits my shape really well. Glad I sized up to 30G. I grew a cup size in the past couple of months, probably migration.
Anyway, just wanted to rant about the missing briefs.

I agree about the bands not being tight. I've only tried one Comexim bra (The Jennifer) and I found it true to size, maybe even a little loose in the band. I think the magic blue runs really tight, as well as certain other models, but the bands aren't tight for all Comexim bras.
I just got my Comexims yesterday, the Juliette and the Comexim Magic Blue :). Ugh, it's a shame about your missing briefs. Was your package all sorts of smashed up? Mine was! It looked like it had been run over. At least the bras were okay.
brajunkie the Magic Blue I got doesn't run tight at all, so maybe that's changed? It's pretty stretchy. (I intend on writing a comparison between the Juliette and the Magic Blue when I get a chance, and maybe even compare them to the Basic (170) I have)

Do sister sizes only really count for the one size below/above the regular size? I.E. 30F-28FF-26G? Or can you theoretically wear any sister size along the spectrum?
I ask because, while I'm waiting for my new bras to ship out (yaay), I'm stuck with wearing a bra I've owned for years but never fit into until now. ... It's a 36D American size, that I got from Victoria's Secret a long time ago. It mostly fits, although the band is *SO TIGHT* I can barely wear it all day. Over the course of the last few days I've been wondering why this bra seems to fit well overall, when I realized it is a sister size to my current.
Less of a sister size, more of a... second cousin twice-removed size, since it's so far up the spectrum, but a sister size nonetheless.
So I guess my question is about sister sizing, and how far is too far, and why that makes a difference. If a 36D is technically a sister size to a 28FF, why doesn't it work? My first thought is.. Well, the band will be *FAR* too big, but then mine is tight. The small cups would probably counteract that, so the too large band and too small cups balance themselves out into.. A bra that kind-of-almost-but-doesn't-really-fit?

In theory sister sizing doesn't work all the way across the spectrum, because the proportions change. The breasts of a 'true' 36D may have roughly the same volume as the breasts of a 'true' 28FF, but their shapes and their matching bodies are wildly different. Proper bra design takes those differences into account: relation between cup width and cup depth, cup spacing, wire shape, wing height, armhole size, position of the straps, etc. etc. Of course, in practice many bras aren't graded with this much detail in mind so in those cases it might actually 'kind of' 'sort of' 'seem to' work, but the more sophisticated brands do it at least at some level.
I would be wary of sister sizing too much, even if you make adjustments to the band. There is one exception I can think of, and that is if you really need an unusual wire shape for your size. For instance, if you actually needed a 30F but even the widest wires you can find are too narrow, you might go to a 36D and adjust the band. Likewise, if you needed a 34G, but even the most narrow wires were too wide for you, you might go to a 28HH and wear extenders. For most women sister sizing that far won't lead to optimal shapes, and isn't recommended as a permanent solution.

This bra adventure has to do with True&Co. As some of you may have seen, I listed some fit requests on two bras they sent me as a free trial. I was bulging out of the cups on both, but the band felt fine. The other three bras they sent the band barely closed or hurt when it closed. It ... was suggested to me by the kind ladies here that I try some different band and cup combinations on the two bras that did feel ok in the band. I asked True& Co if I could do this, explained my fit issues, and asked if they carried any bras with wider wiring. I was promptly told that I had to go UP a band size, even though three fit companies have told me flat out I am not a bigger band size. They didn't answer any of my questions on fit or other brands either. I tried one more time and was told yet again to go a band size up, as that would make the wires wider and solve my problems. I am confused, I thought if you bulge out of the cups it means the cup is too small. The band I can comfortably hook and was not in pain, so I thought that meant the band fit. To be honest a 38A is just as too small in the cup on me as a 36B is in the cup, so why are they insisting my band is wrong? Anyone else ever deal with this company?

Well, they are known for not knowing how to fit, which is sad for a company trying to profile themselves as "we get you bras that fit". Their fit quiz is a joke and they have been contacted by a lot of the bra bloggers because of their fitting methods, which frankly just is odd. I would honestly not try to ask for advice but rather just say "I'd like to exchange bra Y in size X to bra A in size B", and ask here for recommendations of models.
(And, to make even more of a point, a 38A will appear to have narrower and deeper cups on you than a 36B, as the 38A will be less stretched in the band. Just the opposite of what you need)

I am awaiting my notice from Figleaves saying that they have received my return of the 3 bras I bought from them that were too small. I am super nervous that something will go wrong. I have put off ordering bras online for so long and wearing what I knew was the wrong size because shipping and returns seem like ... such a bother. I am already experiencing regret for ordering a 28F in the Freya Jolie Plunge Balcony (4101) and think I should have gotten a 28E and really hope that I don't need to order a different size in the Cleo Marcie (6831) I was going back and forth on if I should order the 28FF instead. I would just like to get the exchanges so that I can try them on and exchange again if I need to. I am just so ready to own at least one bra that fits me.

Online shopping gets easier. I mean it's still frustrating to not be able to try stuff on before buying but you get less anxious about returns and so forth.
^I second that. When you have once returned to a company, you will know the procedure and it will be easier the next time. On the other hand, dealing with a new company can be scary. I have returned bras to other companied, but now I maybe have to return to Ewa Michalak and I´m kind of scary about that... as their customer service and Dominik is impossible to deal with!
I attempted to do a quick bit of shopping during my lunch break today and I had to seriously stop myself from buying a Stella Mccartney bra for super duper cheap, because it was a 32E and would never EVER fit me. Next thing you know, I found myself in the long line at the registers ... HOLDING THE BRA in my hands and then I took a good hard look at the cups! Then I flashed back to the bras I was washing last night, and their cup sizes, and how they DWARFED the cups on the Stella bra, and shamefully scooted out of the line, put the bra back and walked the hell out. *SOB* ;_;

Oh, that's a cute bra, and 32E is my starting-point size.
Just think of it this way: you saved yourself some money and left the bra to be purchased by (hopefully) someone it has a chance of fitting. No reason not to be proud of that!
I used to tell myself that if a bra was cute and cheap, going up a band size was ok. No more.

I did an exchange with a user here, she got my 30G Miss Mandalay Paige, I got a 30G Panache Sienna.
When I took out the bra from the envelope, I was like, the wires are so wide! And then I put it on.
Hey, it actually fits. The wires end right at my root, the gore tacks, etc.....wait.
I forgot to sc/woop ... (never happened before!). No wonder. After I did that. HA! Empty sides worth two fingers, a teeny almost invisible quadboob, but that's because I'm on PMS right now.
I love the rounded shape it gives. And the bra band is all lace. I love it! The band is noticeably stretchier than Miss Mandalay though. I hooked it straightaway on the tightest set and it still have some give.
I'm not sure whether I want to keep this bra or not.
On another note, I'm gonna get my first Ewa Michalak bra! Snagged it here in the listing. Though I suspect it might be too big for me. We'll see, we'll see.

I've noticed reading some of the bra adventures here, that some of you do alterations on your bras. I sew a little bit and have access to a sewing machine. I'm considering maybe trying to do some bra alterations myself. I'm sure altering could get a little tricky, having never tried . But I like ... a good challenge once in a while.

I see that Victoria's Secret has DD bikinis. Does anyone know if they are actually supportive? Or is it a case of not being able to cinch the band tight enough?

VS bras tend to be soooo stretchy, but their swimsuits might be less so.
Properly fitted, I wear a 28 band but I purchased the Beach Sexy push-up bandeau in a 32. Brand new, I'd say it fits fine on the loosest hook. It feels snug, but I'll see what happens after a few wears in water.
One thing to note is I went to the store to determine if I needed a 32 B or C (I'm normally a 28DD), but ended up one cup size bigger in a 32D. Even when I used to wear 32 bands, I NEVER wore a D, so the cups on that style seem to run small.
I don't have pics to share right now, but I received 3 bravissimo bras yesterday. NWOT from Ebay. Ugh. That's all I can say. They are the Bravissimo Mai Blossom (SB10) and the Primrose (SB31). Both are the same style/shape. The top panel gives this HORRIBLE flat shape. I think ... the cups might be a tad too small, too, because there seems to be breast tissue being pushed up above the cups as well. But really I think it's just the ill fit. I have soft tissue and bottom heavy breasts - I never get tissues ABOVE cups, LOL. It's like a cruel joke. I'll post pictures later, but just wanted to share my disappointment with ladies who can understand.
I thought Bravissimo with the narrow wires might be my answer to a non-padded bra, but now I wonder if I'll ever be happy with a bra other than the Ewa PL.

I have issues with those HORRIBLE FLAT TOP PANELS TOOOOOO! And sometimes I feel like people don't even understand what I mean, because they think its too small. And when I size up, the apex gets too big, and the top panel is still weird and flat. I generally have this issue with lots of bras, since I'm more full on top.
But it gives a weird flat sort of triangle shape, right? I have no idea how it looks round on the models/other people.
I really like Bravissimos bands, so it's super annoying that they give me such a bad shape.

Maybe it doesn´t fit even the models? They might be photoshopped to look good...
That´s just a pity :( I wanted to get the Mai Blossom but "luckily" it was sold out in my size.

Recognizing that they might have a legitimate need to get rid of the 7,56 zloty of my money, I proposed that they either issue me a gift certificate for 7,56 zloty which I could pass on to a friend, or shove the money in an envelope and mail it to me. Dominik says "None of those solutions would work ... for us."
Well, too bad, because I am done trying to come up with solutions to this problem. It isn't a reasonable solution if you propose that I accept a bank transfer that will cost me 10 times as much in fees as the value of the money being transferred (and should my bank accept a transaction that reduces my balance without my approval, I will be filing a complaint). Nor is it a viable solution for me to create a Paypal account in order to receive a transfer I don't want. I already decided to no longer do business with Ewa Michalak rather than get a Paypal account, so I'm hardly going to create an account for a refund I don't want.
I am no longer a customer so I don't care if you refuse to sell to me because of this. My remaining goodwill has been completely eaten up by having to deal Dominik. He is utterly unfit for his job (it isn't just the language barrier, because my Polish co-worker couldn't get through to him, either). Anything further he might say to me will be deleted unread.
Tagging EdytaKubiak in my last attempt at explaining the issue to someone with Ewa Michalak who is capable of understanding that this is not my problem. I've already invested a lot of effort into trying to find solutions and I have no further motivation to do so.

Do you know someone with a Paypal account? You could just tell them it's your account. All they need is the email attached to the Paypal account to send money. I'll give you mine if you want it. I'm happy to take free money, even if it's only 7,56 zloty. ;-) It'd pay for the little bow in the center gore of a new bra for me. LOL
And, while I'm a Ewa fan at the moment, this whole drama over the money is just ridiculous. SO STUPID. What happened to the customer is always right? And why would they INSIST you take this credit when it'd cost you money to do so? What customer would do that???
Dominik needs some customer service training, I do believe.
I think Dominik should get his own category on Bratabase :D so much fans here ^^

My first Ewa Michalak arrived and it fits!!! My first try, it fits! I'm shocked!! I was expecting disaster. It is a CHP Stalowka, 75FF.
I'm really impressed with this bra. The straps are in the perfect spot and don't cut into my pec muscles, which is pretty rare to find for me. The band is tight but the perfect amount ... of tight. Cups are perfect but if I lean forward they wrinkle a little bit. I don't think I could get away with going down a cup size though.
It's comfy and the best part is I have cakes on a plate!!!

I have the same issue with straps, so the strap placement is what I really love about the Chps and EMs in general! The one Comexim bra I have (the Basic (170) ) also has good strap placement. I have also have had good luck with Kris Line .
Some of the worst contenders for bras that tried to saw my arms off: the ever-popular Cleo Lucy (5851) and Freya Lyla (4301) --oh, and most Curvy Kates from the Showgirls line :|
I am going to try Comexim next, I think. I've been hearing good things, and the collection is beautiful. I would love to try Kris Line too. Poland really knows what it's doing in the bra department.

Tutti Rouge seems to run small :/ It's a nice and snug 34band, but the cup is way small on me - it's wide though, so it may not be that small in actual volume, but it's quadro-boobing like crazy.
The Panache Idina 34J was very lovely, but a smidge small too, but I think I will keep it ... around for a little bit, as it's likely that it will fit at another time in my cycle (I almost don't change size though, probably not a full cup size, so I would have preffered it in 34JJ regardless!)
I also ordered the Bravissimo Sun Dress (actually, I ordered 2 accidentally :/ Sucks!), which fits really nice, but unfortuneatly quite small on the boobage, making the coverage not so covering... I will have to think about what to do with that, or if it's a no-go..

The Polish bras tend to run tight in the band. How do you feel the bands run on the two Ewas you have? Ewa bands vary though in tightness I hear though. My bands are a little tight and I'm using an extender just so it doesn't pull too much. I'd go up in the cup maybe instead of sizing down in the band IMO just because they are known to be tight in the band.
The bands feel ok. I might actually be able to go down to a 32 in Ewa.
