• I tried the Dalia sportowy and I thought it was fine!! I'm like one cup size to big to fit into it right now though.

  I thought it was pretty similar to Panache's sports bra, but Panache doesn't work for me.

• yes that is the one I tried but in red. It gave me the droopiest shape I've ever seen, it was like it was pushing my boobs down past the band!! I can't remember if I threw it out-out or just tossed in my clothing donation bag, I will see when I get home in 3 weeks and actual post it haha.

  It had the strangest fit I am so suprised it worked for you, I was debating in my head when I got it if I got like a defect one because how could they fuck it up so bad :D

  And I ordered it from their actual website! It'll be too big for me now tho, I got it in a 70L (this was a year ago apparently, god damn I thought it was about 6 months ago :P)

I guess I've been scooping and swooping incorrectly since I learned about it, and just always have been wearing my bras wrong.

I got a comment that it looked like I was wearing my bras too low, and it's been sticking with me even after I assured them in it was in my IMF. After reading the linked blog post, I ... test fit some of my "perfect" bras and they don't fit the way they used to. 😞 I guess it's time to go through everything, redo my measurements, and hope for the best. I will probably wear some of my bras "incorrectly" until I'm able to get more.

Anyone else run into this issue?

• I am guilty of it too, especially when I gain a bit of breast volume and don't want to buy new bras. If your band is a bit too large it won't be as bad as there is not too much pressure from the wires on the side. The wire should not lay on breast tissue, if your bras have too wide wires you also can get away with this and scoop from the front so the "quadboob" goes back on the cups.

• Even though I'm pulling the band up and pulling the wires into my IMF, the band feels even looser than if I'm wearing it lower? It's odd considering my torso is V shaped.

  @alisa I haven't gained any real volume, I just was wearing my bras wrong. I'm still on my learning journey, and this is just another thing I've learned! Though now some of the bras I felt fit are too small with my bras now pulled up into my actual IMF. I'll have to get around to adding pics for reference and seeing if I'm delusional when it comes to where the band should sit.

Question: are our messages on bratabase secure?

I just ask because I shared a blog post (brand new blog - not listed) with *one person* and one person only. I used bratabase messages because she had contacted me on this website; the website the blog is on is blogger, and they have a "hit meter" Well, I have all of these hits to the blog now - ... not that it's a CIA-password protected information - I mean, I've talked about it before (the topic is online bra sales shills, like on reddit, instagram, etc.) but I wrote one blog post about it using two deleted accounts from reddit (even I'm not going to be like, u/_______(active username on reddit), you're a shill!! even though I did block 14 accts that I suspected were online sales shills). This was the blog post, I only had one post on the entire blog https://braforumcritical.blogspot.com/2023/10/shill-identification-part-1.html

MY QUESTION IS: are there several people who work on this bratabase website? Some who could, like, view our messages. Because I'm trying to figure out why this blog post was shared - one of the location is Israel, and that's the HQ of Bare Necessities.

I thought I remember reading that there are various people who "help out" with this website? Can other people read our messages? (again, not that this top secret theory...it's just weird that I shared it with one person and then it went straight to Israel, which makes me think it's the HQ for Bare Nec, and also the UK, where I imagine Wacoal-Eveden marketing takes place for the UK).

• It's only me "working" on Bratabase, and there's lots of code that's dangling there that never saw the light of day.

  I think I know what this is, you know this preview that is here at the bottom of the post? It's an auto collected by the server to build a preview.

  Something similar was implemented for link previews in private messages. The server reads the website and gets the title, a snippet and an image preview. The idea was for the sales links when you want to purchase a bra, but then I never really got to render this snippet on the body of the messages.

  The messages exchanged in the site, aren't encrypted end to end, they sit in a database in the server. For example, there is a separate management set of screens that show alerts when a message gets reported and then it allows to read that message in order to take action. So, yes, it is possible that a message is read internally by this management screen or get a request by the app server in order to create a snippet (that in this case was never rendered).

• My first thought was Kris Line??

  I compared these two bras, 32GG Elomi Matilita and 70HH Kris Line bra (70HH is about 32GG UK, according to their size chart which is on their website) These were the data points!!

• Idk, I'm not sure if Ewa Michalak soft bras will work for you if you can't tolerate wide-set straps.

  Edit: I'm not sure if that alteration will work better on padded bras though.

• Great haul! How did you figure out your size in all of these brands?
  Each has different sizing and it confuses me.
  Jagna.pl ships internationally ? it looks so good and prices are afforable! I have to check it out.

• Thanks! Honestly, a lot of trial and error trying to find the sizes but also looking up other users on Bratabase who wear the same size as my UK size and trying bras that they’ve tried in those brands is what I’ve mostly been doing. BraOdyssey is the same UK size as me and has tried a lot of Polish brands, so even though we may have different shapes and volumes, I started with what sizes worked for her and went from there.

  Ewa Michalak BM style seems to fit exactly the same as my UK size, but when I wore a 34HH/J I always had to size up a band and a cup, but that’s when I had firmer tissue. Kris Line sizing is tricky, but they have a size chart that converts UK sizes to their sizes, so I used that as a guide to start. When I was my old size, I actually wore an 75K in most Kris Line bras, which is 3 cups sizes up. Their chart recommended 75JJ, so even their chart is not the best way to pick sizes in their brand. Also, unfortunately, their cuts aren’t very consistent, so the size from the chart might fit in one bra and be totally off in another. Nessa is much more consistent. I think my Nessa size is my UK size in EU sizing, but they don’t do double letters, so I think I just got lucky guessing on that one. I actually tried sister sizing to a 34GG (75J) with a Nessa bra from Brastop, and it’s a cup size too large and a band size too large, so I knew to size down to a 70J for the next one. Honestly I’m not even sure if the Kris Line and Nessa will even fit, but I figured if they don’t I’ll just resell them on here.

  Jagna.pl ships internationally and the shipping was so reasonable! From Poland to US it was only like $125 zloty which ended up being less than the cost of a bra. Still kinda pricey (like $30 USD), but when I thought of how cheap the bras were compared to when I buy ones that are imported to US sellers, it ended up being cheaper anyway in the long run.

  ETA: I should have said Nessa is the same as my US bra size because those don’t have double letters.

  I know when I started my proper bra-fitting journey (my "bra odyssey" lol), I took my measurements every other day and compared my "bra size". Well, the online bra calculators would give me one of five different sizes, depending on the day. Every other day, my measurements would change, due to hormones, or diet! Water intake, salt intake. "that time of the month"

  So, my "exact bra size" per the calculators does fluctuate.

  In some of my best-fitting bras, I'm EU 70J but in a padded style I'm EU 70K. Sooooo, it depends on brand & style.

  Furthermore, some brands run more accurate than others; there was a survey done on this Facebook Group, Boob or Bust https://www.facebook.com/groups/BoobOrBust and 25% of women said that the brand PANACHE had the most accurate sizing to their online calculator.

  Soft tissue can sometimes mean a person is "functionally shallow" (or requires a shallow bra) - even though your shape may indeed be projected, if that makes sense.

• BraOdyssey thanks for such a detailed response. Sad thing is, the bras I want aren't available where I live (Pakistan), so I need to be certain about the size because returning the bra is too expensive for me.

  There are some bras like Freya Offbeat where people have shared if they needed to size down or size up, but this isnt the case for every bra.

  I think once I can find a bra that actually fits, I'll have a better idea of what I need to look for in a bra. It'll also tell me if I'm "functionally shallow" I think.

  I think it would actually help if I'm functionally shallow because there's a website that has bras primarily for shallow people. It's called lenceria.pk

  When I shared this website on r/abrathatfits they said the bras dont have projection.

  Tbh I just want to feel normal. I've never worn a bra that fit me properly. Even if I got a small size, the shape would be so off that the gore wouldn't tack and I would just have trouble breathing because of the incorrect size. I think comparing myself to people on tv makes it worse

• I wonder if she is having a health problem or she has a desperate family emergency? From what I understand, it's just one woman (Magda) mailing bras from Poland, I'm not sure if she has a helper. • The truth is that the store website bras4you.com and the email contact@bras4you.com are under repair. There were a lot of communication problems, I didn't receive any messages, I didn't see the orders or the orders were canceled by themselves.   I did look on Broad Lingerie’s website, but they’re sold out of my size. Oh well, that’s what I get for dragging my heels. Maybe it’ll make a comeback or something similar will come up eventually.

• I don't know, that's a tough one. I'm a total germaphobe myself. Oddly, I don't really mind it if *I can tell a bra has been tried on* I will just wash it.

  But I know that's super annoying to get pet hair (or something) when it should be a "new bra." That's not uncommon apparently. Other people have posted (on other forums) about getting bras that are from smoker's homes -obvious cigarette smells - as well as animal fur! some people are just not careful about their returns! If it fits, I just wash it. But I've never gotten one with pet fur on it. Or cigarette smoke.

  I guess I've been pretty lucky, but what I don't like is strong perfume smells. If I'm going to try on a new bra, I take a shower and then try it on. And then I just try to keep it on for five minutes, that's it.

  It's interesting you ordered a strapless bra that appears used. I think many stores are not allowing returns on strapless bras for that very reason.

• I’ve been so careful with trying on bras too. I put them on with everything still attached and then just go about my business in the house like watch a video or something or eat breakfast then take it off if I’m not sure I put it in the packaging and do it again the next day until I come to a conclusion. Anyway. It doesn’t smell so that’s why I was considering keeping it. But I ordered another one and of course it was $20 more because it’s from a different seller. But a good strapless is so hard to find so I am investing. Especially since this model is discontinued now. People are so gross. That’s the disappointing thing. An actual person was just so… idk even know what word to use. Lol

32GG - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951)

So, I initially tried on this bra and returned it because I thought it was too small, but honestly it was probably the best fitting bra I’ve tried so far. I meditated on it for a while and then decided to reorder it. I noticed when trying it on this time that the quadding is NOT on my larger side, ... but actually my smaller side! I’m wondering if maybe I have the strap on that side might be tightened too much, making it seem like it’s too small when it’s not. Either way, it’s here to stay and I’m happy. I have at least 1 bra that truly fits.
