Pictures not displaying? Not reallly bra related, more techy

Can anyone help me? I'm not sure where else I'd post this question.... Lately I am having troubles seeing SOME of the small "thumbnail" images when I search for a bra (like in this search: https://www.bratabase.com/search/?q=Ewa+Michalak+sm). Some of the small thumbnail pictures just have a question mark in the middle of the picture. I'm also having troubles ... seeing SOME images in larger windows when I click on them (some images just look black). This is a recent thing. Jj ? Is there something I need to update to view all the images again? I'm using safari and have never had troubles until recently. Mac Os High Sierra on a 2010 Macbook pro. Thanks for any tips. Sorry it's not about bras.

• Safari is a browser that has essentially been depreciated over the years. If there is an update available for it, i would update it if i were you. I know that safari is on par with pre-internet explorer 8. Otherwise I don't know much of anything about mac, so hopefully Jj or someone more in the know about mac can get back to you.
  Although I am also getting many of the thumbnails that are "broken images", so they aren't loading like others.

• Thanks LeProfessor ... I'm fairly sure I'm on an updated Safari, but I'll double check. Good to know I'm not the only one having some troubles with images though.

• Hey if you never wear 'em and don't have the time to play around with 'em. Might keep one and see if you can't remove the padding to see how it works, lol.
  But omg. I LOVE that animal print FB with the red ribbon on the seams (Kicia Szalowa). Or the Myszerej , love love love. Like what! Why don't they have such pretty fabrics for the other bras!

• Ouch. Did you wear it on the j-hook tho? I find that if I don't use it I just take it off a bra (it's what I did with my Freya Sonic)

• I use the J hook all the time, mainly because it is more comfortable for me. Next time, I’ll wear my normal tank top.

• It's okay, youre not the only one. I can wait out 7 days then I get super impatient and check all the time.
  It's even worse when it finally ships, I check tracking all the freaking time even tho I KNOW it can't possibly be here the same day!

This made me chuckle a bit last night when I read it:

Farther in the article, they talk about the Savage Fenty lingerie line, and how, after hearing complaints of lack of sizes, (the line only goes up to 44DD I guess) they "expanded" the line to include 44DDD. I just shook my head. WOW, one whole size bigger. ... *sarcasm

Granted, I don't know a lot about that line of lingerie at all, since chances are, none of the bras would ever fit me anyways! So correct me if I'm wrong, but it just seems like more of the same Americanized, wrongly-sized bra stuff.

Anyways, it just made me roll my eyes, and not-so-fondly reminisce about my younger years of shopping at Victoria's Secret.

• It is the same Americanized stuff. It's just that Rihanna is using models that don't all look like supermodels, so she's being labeled as inclusive. Wish that they would include more actual band/cup sizes as well as using different kinds of models.

• I used to spend so much money on VS (and when you add in shipping to me and customs I always had to pay for VS packages for some reason) it was a reeeeally expensive habit.

  I remember buying a 34DD (cos their calculator gave me that) and it being SOOOOOO small I contacted their customer service and they suggested I go for 36D cause it's larger! This was some years ago (I don't dare say how many, let's just say early twenties), but to this day I feel so cheated.

  The funny part is I now weigh about 15kg more and I'm hovering between a 30 and 32 band, so back then I must have been like a 26 cause I was extremely skinny, but somehow got a 34 from their calculator (which I thought was perfection in every way possible).

  Anyways, maybe unrelated. The article is very interesting and I think it's about time clothing/lingerie industries stopped discriminating and if they won't, kids these days aren't as gullible as we used to be years ago to buy into their fantasies. I don't appreciate the word millennials but I do think this generation is changing the world for the better.

• So.......the elastic is different on the bottom of the band vs the top? Hummmmm........They look like the same elastic on all my bras.
  I am confused by their statement.
  How would the elastic be this issue for you and not another if that is the case? Wouldn't be more of a "this band is geared towards an V frame torso" situation?
  Don't get me wrong, it's great that they were superb and quick to respond, but I really don't get their logic.....

  Why they decided to go this way for Ellace I am not sure, but they did reassure me their other bras do not have this 'feature'.

  They also told me I'm in the wrong size which eh... I don't know that I can fill out a 32G even on my larger side.

More bra related fashion questions

So, I have these two tops that I really really love, but both have a common design aspect that makes me question if they actually look bad and don't work for medium and larger sized breasts.

The first is a feminine plaid blouse that is made from a thin material and has flutter sleeves. There's a sorta open/loose crochet line that ... is just above my breasts, probably around the top of my roots, and then it pillows out loosely underneath with a bit of gathering and rusching at the crochet line joint. I bought the top to take to England for my 20th wedding anniversary in October 2016. It had a very English/London vibe in my mind (whether it was or not, I don't know). I often wear it with burgundy pants or dark jeggings and a navy 3/4 length sweater (which I included a pic with in the link).

The second top is a Henley with rolled 3/4 length sleeves. It's primarily made from a thin jersey material that is so comfy and an insert at the top that is sorta linen or gauze like, with a few crochet like ribbons accenting it, and little pearly buttons. The upper section also lays flat and smooth and the join with the jersey knit body is also looser with the same kind of rusching and gathering like the plaid top. The main difference is that the plaid blouse is one material and the jersey is mixed and therefore, except for the front gauzy section, is thin, light, and stretchy.

My fashion fit concerns are the separation between the fitted upper section of the tops, compared with the looser and more flowy nature of the rest of the tops. Where I am most concerned is the side profile and whether it actually looks weird because of my boob size and where the fitted transitions to looser.

I've included a bunch of pics from different angles, and I have the plaid in two different lighting situations. I found it hard to get a good representation of what I see in the side view when taking, but I found out that using the self timer helps, so those pics are at the end.

Am I being self conscious or is this just really a bad look for me or anyone who has a somewhat larger chest? I love the two tops, although the green one is worn mostly at home with leggings as my change out of work uniform comfy outfit. But I do wear it in summer a lot because it's so light and flowy. The plaid is almost always worn with the cardigan in fall and winter, but if it's warm inside, I'll take the cardi off. I only noticed the side profile recently and now am worried. • I love the plaid design, and the cute lace cut out too. I regularly feel frustrated by tops that I want to wear, but dont work on medium or large busts. All of the fun flowy things tend to look like a wreck on me, haha. I do see what you mean, especially in the last picture, about the tension then looseness of that shirt in that location causing a weird situation. The green shirt in my opinion is one of the "too flowy shirts" I personally would avoid. Having rarely seen you in a shirt (haha) I am sure you look fantastic in most of your clothes! I think this is one of those things where if it doesn't make you feel great, then I say don't wear it. Each woman in all of our uniqueness has to figure out what suits us best and what we like. I have gotten to a point where I am trying to only keep things in my closet that suit me. Last winter I decided I would try to be trendy and wear some semi loose tunic sweaters. There was one that caused 2 people whom I know to ask in one day if I am pregnant. Disaster! that sweater was donated ASAP, it had the problem of hanging straight down from my boobs. Sigh.

• Does the shirt feel like it's going to rip if you move your arms? To be honest, I didn't notice the side profile until you pointed it out. This made me have to look at my own shirts, all of them do that unless it has a bust dart.

  I love long flowy tops even though they don't go with my body shape. Depending on the length of a top, I end up with no waist trying to fit it over my boobs or my hips. At this point I'm trying to give up caring about that, because very few tops are cut like my Urkye top.

  I really think the shirts look fine and if you like them, you should wear them. It really doesn't matter what a stranger, or even someone you care about says! Just what you feel looks nice and are comfortable wearing. Think about it this way, if the only thing that fit you well made you feel uncomfortable to be in public, would you still want to wear it?

Ewa and me

Ewa bras give me amazing lift and I love the fun designs. BUT, they poke me in the armpit like nothing else and the location of the hardware for straps bothers me. My comexim are always comfy, but they just aren't as fun or as *boom boobies*. Anyone have any ideas on how to make them work?

• Is it the ring or adjusters that bother you? Do you know why, as in "it's on my shoulder blades and it's annoying" or "they just seem to poke ime in an odd way" ? Depending on the cause will result in different solutions.

  If it is placement you can try a J hook to pull the straps closer in the back. If it is at the adjusters just irritation, check to make sure the fabric loop at the end of the strap that makes the adjuster is at the loop part and not at the seam after adjusting the straps. I know if I adjust my straps and don't pull on that end loop to sit flat, it pokes me in the back and is painful.

  With the wires, do they fill the whole channel? If not, try shifting them all the way one direction (towards the armpit or the gore) and see if that helps, then try the opposite direction.

  If the wires do fill the channel, try using a skin buffer where they poke, such as a band aide or even those silicone heel protectors. You can also sew a bit of extra padding at the end of the wire channel to soften the poke.

• Are you asking how to make your Ewas less painful or how to make your comexims work?

  If you wanna make you Comexims work have you ever gotten customizations on your Comexims?
  If you already love them you could just try getting a few alterations, mainly lower cup height and lower gore.
  The half cup bras will also give a more shelf like appearance than the plunge bras which have alot more coverage. You may want to ask for more projection at the wire with this cut.

  Otherwise there is a world of other bra manufacturers out there that you could give a try!

• I have a Gorsenia Xanti that fits just like a chp. I've only ever tried one EM CH and it didn't fit me, so I can't compare there. I don't know the size of my Gorsenia, but I'm guessing it's a 65FF (maaaybe 65F). I can't upload data on it because I got it second hand and there's no tag to confirm the size. Anyways, my point it, maybe other Gorsenia half cups would fit similarly? The only thing I wonder in Gorsenia is the width of their cups. My xanti measures 14.3cm wire to wire in width. I also tried a few of their unlined half cups and they were wide (almost 6"). Haven't tried any other polish brand other than Comexim.

Strapless needed?

I like this sweater a lot, but being off the shoulder, is it best to wear with a strapless, or would you just wear as is with the straps showing?

• If they feel a bit small in the cup, definitely go up to the 80F. You can always add the pads in if there's a bit more volume than anticipated, right? :-)

• Oh dear. Sigh. I hate it when we have size changes. A few years ago that was me and my cup size (I'm hoping it stabilises now because i'm close to the tail end of this range)

• Cleo Kayla and Hettie, I believe, are like Marcie but with stretch lace on top, however, she might have to size down in the cup (Kayla especially) because they can be deeper/more projected. What are some brands and styles that she has already tried?

• I think she adds 20 PLN to the base price first, then slaps VAT and PayPal fees on top of that. I live on the east coast and it takes about 2 weeks for bras to get to me.

  I have not tried the SMN, but did try the SM which should have the same cup volume though not necessarily the same fit. No stretch lace, with 2"+ give to the cups in that range, but very sturdy for being sheer/thin.

  Koralik fit differently than Tattoo.
  If your projection needs don't line up with the cup design, you get squish/flattening &/or quadding. The type of tissue you have (soft vs hard) is also a factor. It is much more firmer friendly IMO.

  Tattoo was perfect in 60KK, Koralik not. I tried Koralik in both 60K and 60KK.

• MamaPagan I wonder if Ewa is willing to say which SM exactly all of the SMN are based on? There seems to be a fairly large difference in how Koralik and Tattoo fit you, so I am wondering which of these fits closer to SMN. However, my biggest concern is probably depth at the wire and cup height. How was the SM cut in those aspects?

So, lingerie outlet store has a pretty good offer right now: 4 bras (from their sale selection) for £20.

There's actually a fair amount of choice IMO (of course you have to be lucky with styles / sizes - 28D to 46F - but also up to some J's in bandsizes between). They've also updated their website it seems, so it's ... easier to work with and filter by size.

For £5 per bra I'm quite willing to sister size / experiment. There's also bralettes & sleep tops.
Would even be worth it to order a bra for parts!

Really need help finding a bra that fits

Over the past year, I’ve lost significant boob, which has made my already difficult search for a bra even more miserable. I’ve gone from a 32H/HH to a 30F. I’m super projected/pendulous with very little breast tissue. (It’s mostly just hanging skin.) I’ve tried my old favorites (CK Florence and Fantasie Smoothing balcony) with zero success. With my soft ... tissue, in-cup quadding is horrible.

After reading some reviews, I tried a Cleo Mimi. It’s not good but not the worst fit. It’s more open on top than I need, so I’ve tightened the straps fully, and the cups aren’t really wide enough, nor the wings tall enough. I’m not sure if it’s even worth keeping.

I’m living in cheap sports bras right now and they aren’t really doing anything to help my body image issues. Do y’all know of any sports bra style bras that are more attractive?

No, I haven’t tried Polish yet. I can’t spend that much money to be just a frustrated as I am now.

  FWIW, within minutes of taking the pics, my tissue settled more and the fit was worse, especially when I pushed the wires back into my IMF.

• With the shape you describe, Polish is really your best (only) option. I promise you won’t be disappointed. UK bras are often just as expensive as Ewa, but a shittier fit & quality. I suggest searching our listings for 65F Ewa Michalak bras, I think especially the CH/CHP cut would work for you, & trying some secondhand at a discount. If I knew of a UK bra to recommend, I would, but you’ve already tried the ones I’d recommend.
