You mean when you write someone saying you want to buy their bras? Have you been double-checking where it says how long since that person has logged in to bratabase? Some ppl listed bras and then never came back
...yeah I had that problem for a while too. Like @dbmamaz said if they haven't been on in a very long time you'll most likely never get a response, and a lot of people don't like selling to users with low reputations. Sucks, but true. Although I've wrote some non-active people that get on every month or so and still haven't responded or taken their listings down. :-(
You could always try BraSwap on Reddit, the ABraThatFits folk sell/swap their bras there. And then there's always Amazon.

I just noticed that the bras I put up might have the wrong cup separation measurement.
I saw the picture in the how to measure it, it was from the outside. I figured it would be more accurate if it was from the inside of the bra. Since this is where your breasts are actually sitting and the side of ... the cups can't be obscured by a bit of fabric. My thought could be completely wrong, don't know.
I looked through two dozen bras of different brands and sizes and they were measured between 2 and 2.5 cm by people. Most of the ones I measured myself are over 2.5 cm. I had a look and measured the same bras both as pictured (outside) and also my inside measurement, some of the bras were different by as much as 1cm.

The photo in the cup separation section of the measuring guide shows the inside of the bra, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. The gore should be measured from the inside of the bra, at the narrowest point (which should be at the top), including the wire channels.
Oh gosh kohakuriver , you are right. For some reason I thought that was the outside of the bra. Maybe the nude colors or something. But still I'm not completely sure if my measurements are within reason since the two dozen bras I looked at were all 2cm to 2.5cm while I'm getting 4cm, 3.8cm, 3.2cm.... Thanks for your reply

As far as I know personal (not bra) measurements are private by default and not everyone chooses to share them or would feel comfortable doing so.
I've found it helpful to start from a bra that fits and looking which bras fit other users that marked the bra in question as fitting too.
This may require a little bit more work than the search function you suggested, but I think bras should be the focus of a bra-database not users if only for privacy reasons.

It is not available because it would be a "Find girls by boob size" feature that would attract too many pervs. Still, as a member you can see which users own bras in similar sizes than you by looking at their reviews and participating.

How do you measure the depth on unlined cups? I just put my knee in them but don't really stretch them. When I do that, my 60J SF Trapez is 12". I just got a 60JJ SF Pin-up today. That is also 12". What? They don't fit the same. If I stretch it a bit to act like there's a boob in it the Pin-up is 12.625". Which method is correct?

I put them between my knees and measure the depth with a flexible tape without exerting force to stretch the cup, I just lay the tape inside the cup.
In my opinion measurements can always only be guidelines as different boobs will stretch the cups in different ways and the fit depends on the specific combination of materials, cup width, depth and height aswell as the seam positioning.
I just find it odd that they measure the same depth. I always measure the unlined over the outside of the cup.

so... recently I was accused twice by two different people for writing lingerie reviews for money - as if my good opinions were a result of an equally good paycheck, which is definitely not true. All opinions are my own, just recently I declined to say that certain strapless bra 'is the only one on the market that is ... able to hold FF and G cup boob' and was then told that the deal is off. I am being paid for majority of the reviews I publish, but the payment is for my time and effort, not my opinion...
I wouldn't give a damn, haters gonna hate, except my review average went down from 5.0 to 4.5 on Facebook due to unfair accusations in form of 1 star reviews.
I am so very sad. I know this might be a trivial matter, but my blog is my baby, and now my potential fanbase (and companies) may be discouraged to read us or collaborate. I don't want to shut down the option to review, since many of those reviews are kind and are a testament to how we managed to build a little bra community, but then again - those one star reviews really hurt our reputation.
Sorry to rant, I am heartbroken to be accused of unfair practices when I try to be as transparent as possible.

in a dream world, i would really love to see how long a bra shoulder strap gets when a bra gets inputted.
almost all of my bra shoulder straps only get 14" long and I need them to be at least 15"+.

I just measured all my straps out of curiosity all are less then 14in. I have a long back and low set boobs and I have yet to find straps that are too short. Most of them are just long enough so I cannot convert them to racer back without them being too tight. Cup height/coverage also effects if the straps are long enough.
what's super frustrating is that finding a bra that fits me is extremely difficult because of my shape, so things like strap length are usually the last thing i worry about, and usually end up having to adding my own shoulder straps. also the luxury of having a bra strap who's width exceeding .5" would make me faint with joy. bras that do have wide shoulder straps usually only adjust half way and then obviously that's not enough for me.
bra manufacturers think ppl in our size range want only the thinnest of straps for some reason.
i have extremely broad and muscular shoulders so i'm sure that has something to do with it.
it's just really annoying and makes me feel disfigured.

So, my previous post was about me taking bras to the US if someone is interested in buying them, but I forgot to ask about mailing within US! my bras are rather small (30E/F,32DD/E etc) so I believe I can easily ship them as first class large letter for $3, right? what about lined bras like comexim or ewa? would ... they also fit into that if placed flat in the envelope? I have only option to post from the counter at the post office so cant pre order labels. Can someone guide me please with shippng bras, what are best options etc

A small envelope you can do for less than $3, its by weight unless you get that specific service, I forget what its called. I think I usually put padded bras in a small box but its still pretty cheap.

is there any way to flag one entry of measurements for admin review? i sometimes see measurements for cup height specifically that are maaajor outliers, indicating to me the user possibly measured the height on the outside of the cup instead of the center. it can skew the averaged height measurement if there's only a couple entries for that size.
i guess i could message the user but i think that would be so personal and come off as so micro-manage-y like it's some huge deal.

I've gotten automatic emails from bratabase if my measurements seem off. but i dont always check because hte first few times, I remeasured and i was right, so i was starting to get annoyed
I don't think there's any way to do that unfortunately (or fortunately?). I definitely see a pattern in some users' measurements being consistently bigger or smaller than other entries, and it makes me wonder whether their measuring tape has stretched out, or whether they're measuring differently than others, among many other things.

If your phone/camera has a timer, you can set it up on a dresser or something. It gives you a few seconds to 'pose'.
How bad are they? I do mine in my bathroom, but I have a skylight in it, so its pretty bright. Having a lot of light is important. also you can crop them before posting if that helps

I'm having some website technical issues. I'm trying to get all my bras to 100%, but I have one that's stuck at 80%. I set the fit, took measurements, wrote a review and added 2 pictures. What am I missing? It isn't giving a hint like it normally does when you click the arrow.

I could be wrong, but I think it goes higher if you add more pictures (I think 5 is the lucky number)
When it does this to me I click on Edit then Save Changes, then it goes to 100%. Something didn't catch up with itself, I guess?

Could someone explain to me how the numbering system works on the Recommendations Page? I had been getting numbers, like in the high .40's, and I always assumed they were the equivalent of a percentage, with 1.00 being the same as 100%. But I recently remeasured (again), then tried a new bra (which fits but is not without issues) from that list. So now that bra has triggered a whole slew of new recommendations, of which several are well above 1.00. How can you have a number higher than 1.00?
I'm obviously missing something...

I am trying to add a Japanese bra (D65 on the label) and Bratabase keeps saying the size is invalid and prevent me from adding it when I enter the size as the only one size on the label. If I try to enter as multiple sizes, it asks me for picture proof, but there's only one size on the label so I am not sure if I should do this. Jj any suggestions? I have added many Japanese bras to Bratabase and this is the first time I see this problem.

Just try entering it as 65D? Isn't the letter and number just switched on some Japanese bra sizes? Sorry if I'm wrong :P
If I enter 65D it shows the same error message. I am not sure if it is this is related to the particular brand (Amphi).

well i think you would have a difficult time selling that size here because it is less sought after among the bra fitting community (it's a common 'before' size), and it is widely available in stores. i would donate them or if they're nice/new sell them on ebay, maybe in a bundle :)

I just got a new bra from Molke (http://www.molke.co.uk/) and I was looking to add it to the site, but I'm not sure whether it would make more sense to consider all of the bras that are currently available one model (but different colourways) as they're all made from the same pattern, or consider each colour to be ... an individual model. As they're a small business, it seems like they do fairly small runs of each print as the material becomes available.
I had some doubts about how good a bra without underwire could be at this size, but my initial impressions are surprisingly positive. I'll add some more info (measurements, pictures, review), once I've added the bra to the site.

It's exciting to see Molke data being added to BTB - I've heard good things about them from a friend who used them during early pregnancy. Hmmm, I'd be tempted to add it as one model, including different colourways, if they're all the same pattern. I guess if they have small runs of available fabric colours it might get complicated if each colourway is added as separate model? But on the other hand I know different fabric colours tend to have different fabric tensions....

Awesome video and nice looking bra. Why do people always gotta body shame someone though!? One of the commentators "that model is too skinny to be healthy." NO. One she looks pretty ripped with lean muscles to me, and two you're spreading unhealthy mentality with your unnecessary body shaming. Some people are naturally lean, some aren't. Man that crap gets on my nerves.
I agree with @dbmamaz , though. Not many women will fit this S/M/L bra. The band is obviously too big for the model. Under wires can be very comfortable once you're in a well fitting bra.
