This is a really lovely bra that works well for even/FOT breasts. The little details are so beautiful. The lace is somewhat sheer and the silk on the top is gorgeous. It does look like a bridal bra, but I don't mind at all.
I am the 3rd owner of this bra which seemed to be a tough fit. At first this bra did not work for me either. It fit well on the bottom, but I did not fill out the top section (that over the original center horizontal seam - I do not have a picture of the unaltered bra). I was going to relist it. Instead I decided to try to alter it since it fit very well on the bottom two thirds. I took up enough fabric to pull under the velvet horizontal border and stitched this in by hand. ...The unaltered bra had an additional 2 cm of vertical length of lace fabric extended under the velvet strip. Now that 2 cm is tucked under the velvet strip. It is now nearly a perfect fit. The only problem I am having is with the wires which are very stiff and bruising me a bit. I tried it on the second middle hook because it felt better tighter, but I am going back to the loose hook because of the bruising. Also, the center gore wires are a bit too high for me by about 1 cm. Despite all that, this bra is now a better fit than my Ewa Michalek 60F which is too wide in the wires. Read more 123 more words
Attractive bra. Would be a perfect fit if the cups weren't so tall on the sides. They dig into my armpits and I'm a short girl, so keep this in mind if you're petite. Still, fabric is very soft and the embroidery is lovely.
BEAUTIFUL BRA!!!! Well made and simply gorgeous. Very comfortable. Cups are slightly closed on top, so this may be troublesome for more FOT girls. I am slightly FOT and only noticed that it was snug on top on my larger side.
This cup is constructed of a sheer-red lace with subtle little dots on it. I've tried it with a few thin t-shirts, and it doesn't seem to show through them. There is a large lace flower on the gore, and the straps are fully adjustable, which is great for people with long torsos or low-set breasts.
I think the cup design would be ideal for someone who has a good amount of immediate projection, narrow roots, and some upper fullness.
This bra is luxurious; I love the materials avocado uses! Unfortunately, this is about a cup size too big for my UK30E/28F breasts, so this would ideally fit someone who has narrow roots, with FOB-to-even projection, and possible a medium-to-short root or high set breasts.
Avocado is at it again! This bra is made of superb materials and construction. The cup is a 3-part construction similar to Cleo Lucy and Marcie bras. The lower part of the cup is a semi-transparent black horizontally-striped lace cup, with the top portion having blue dots and a floral-esque blue-purple edge. The back band is made of a solid black extremely sturdy material that seems like it would hold up extremely well to wear. Again, just like 65E - Avocado ยป Jewel (S186H) , the straps appear to only be half-adjustable because of the lace from the cups continuing up the strap, ...but the slider slides over the lace relatively easy.
This cup seems to fit someone who has semi-projected breasts with a medium to tall root. Alot of immediate projection probably wouldn't work well in this style, but the top doesn't seem to cut in as much as many of the other Avocado styles I've tried. This bra seems to fit almost the exact same as Cleo marcie, but with a more plunging neckline.
This bra is beautiful and incredibly well made, I love everything about it! It seems like it would be quite comfortable, and even though it has lovely details it was not super visible under a t shirt. Unfortunately it does not fit me, the cups (the cup really, it fits my smaller side quite well) are too small and I get some tissue escaping into my armpits. I have quite a lot of extra flesh there (years of wearing too small cups) anyways. I also tend to get a bit of the upside down seven shape especially on my larger breast because of the smallness of the cups. This gives a lovely natural shape to my smaller breast though, and a very frontal look, no east westness happening here!
So, so beautiful! I wish this bra fit, it is just stunning! Again this is a great bra, just too small in the cups (really just the larger one, on the small side the fit is great!), and I think a bit too shallow, but that might just be the smallness of the cups again. Gives a great forward shape, no east west breasts here. Very well made and beautiful with many interesting details, the band is stretchy but sturdy and feels very well made. It seems like it would be quite comfortable also, though I do get flesh in the underarm area. I think a higher wing would help but that is a personal preference and on someone with slightly smaller breasts this would probably not be an issue.
I guess I'm the third owner of this bra! I also have a lot of center fullness, like elkie, and the gore also does not tack on me. In addition, the bottom of the cups are too shallow for me, which means there's empty space visible at the bottom of the cup. I have deep, center-full, balanced top-bottom-fullness, somewhat soft breasts. I'm currently wearing around a 30H, but the band on this was tight enough that I was interested anyway. Despite the fit issues I describe, I absolutely love this bra and wear it often! It's one of the most comfortable bras I own, it doesn't give me quadboob at ...all (though the gore doesn't touch my chest). It has a rounded, somewhat minimized appearance under clothes, and reduces cleavage a bit (I show cleavage easily). It's also profoundly beautiful, on and off! Much more so then I realized from the stock photo. The details are beautiful (the matching stone on the gore!), the colors are awesome together, the lace is soft and comfortable. The "K" style cups are a better fit for my breasts, but I know I'll be wearing this constantly, especially as I can't afford new bras from Avocado right now. I'm not sure if the sizing is wonky on this one bra (that has had three owners now), or if the style fits unlike other Avocados (The bands have been true-to-size in the other styles I've tried), but I'm so glad I tried this one! As soon as I received this bra in the post, I fell in love.
BAND: Way too big, which I found odd since I was under the impression Avocado ran firm, and I have an Avocado Nina in the same size which is firm. I could do up the Greta on the tightest hooks straight away, and the band still rides up as I wear it. I still wear it though, because I love the bra so much.
WIRES: The wires on the Greta are slightly too wide (wider than the Nina wires in the same size) - not wide enough to dig in or cause any discomfort ...at all, but it places the side boning seam too far back on my ribcage, and there is some empty space on the side of the cup (I'm not sure if both these issues would be fixed by sister-sizing down).
CUPS: I am pretty FOT and close set. The gore is fine, but doesn't quite sit flat (I think it could be fixed by a tighter band), but there is a fair amount of space at the top of the cup, mainly because the side of the cup comes up quite high. It doesn't gape and it is not noticeable when I am wearing a shirt.
MATERIALS: Utterly gorgeous. The non-stretch materials with the embroidery... stunning. Gives a lovely, natural, rounded but uplifted shape. It's a dream to wear.
I know it sounds like I have a lot of issues with this bra, but I really do love it. It is probably my favourite bra at the moment, and it is so comfortable. I am going to try order a sister size down and sell this size. Read more 178 more words
This bra is very pretty, but a bad shape for me. I *think* the volume of the cup would be okay if it were less closed off, but it's hard to tell. Would be better for someone more full on bottom than me. The band is also a size too small for me (usually a 30), which I knew, but I think it's fine with an extender.
I'm not a fan of unpadded bras but I have been wanting to try Avocado for some time. What a lovely bra. It has so much detail and embroidery. It gives in my opinion a better round shape than unpadded EM bras. Too bad the gore does not tack. I think I need one to two cup sizes larger.
