A beautiful bra. The cups are a bright teal/blue colour with a black mesh overlay and a velvet strip along the cup's top edge. The front part of the straps are the same fabric as the cups. The band has a section of sheer lace at the wings, and the back is made of a very firm elastic.
The band runs tight enough that I think it would be suitable for 28" underbusts; worth sizing up if you like a looser fit or you're nudging the upper end of your band size.
The cups swim on me, by at least one and a half UK cup sizes -- ...so because the 65G fits my 30FF boobs, I'd estimate the 65H in this bra is equivalent to something between a 30G and 30GG (and 28 band sister sizes).
Copied from my review of the 65G: The cups have good immediate projection, so they're FOB-friendly, and unlike a lot of other half-cups they don't flatten my breasts out wide and minimised. It's not as forward as, say, an EM half-cup, but it's not bad. The wires on this are wide, so anyone lusting after an EM bra who can't face her narrow wires, this would be a good alternative!
The straps are only partly adjustable, which isn't a problem for me; what does concern me is that they don't have any decoration or stitching to stop the extenders sliding, so I'm not sure how they'll hold up once they've got a bit of wear in them.
** Ordering with Avocado's sizing (they use a 4cm rather than a 1 inch increment in their cup sizing) proved a little tricky. To guess my size, I put on my best-fitting bra with the most forward projection (Freya Arabella) to take my overbust measurement, and then used the sizing chart on Avocado's website (http://avocado.com.pl/en/content/6-fit-guide), which put me in between 65G and 65H. The website recommends choosing the larger size if you're in between, but the smaller G worked far better for me.
If you have a lot of immediate bottom projection the bottom of the cup might start wrinkling, collapsing or shifting down. Also slightly too wide for me but it doesn't bother me much.
Beautiful subdued light pink, would make an excellent skintone bra for someone pale to fair with a pinkish undertone.
So many great things about this bra, but it's just too big for me. The gore is really narrow, as are the wires. The fabric and the straps are all soft and pretty.
This bra is stunning. The gore doesn't tack on me. It seems like the fabric of the cup where it attached to the center gore is not curved outward enough for me. I have a decent amount of center fullness, and so I think the tension is so high in that area that the gore is being pushed away from my sternum.
The fit is perfect otherwise, a tight band but I have plenty of extenders. Of this were a different bra I'd probably get rid of it due to the gore issue, but it's just so lovely I'm having a hard time parting with it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
Unfortunately doesn't have enough immediate bottom projection for me. I was hoping the shape would be slightly less uplifted and more hemispherical at the bottom like Ewa Michalak HP/HM.
I would say it fits true to size according to the size guide, and like a projected UK 32G.
The center bow was very loosely attached and came off when I was trying the bra on.
Materials are of high quality and extremely comfortable. The floral trim is made of velvet. Band and hook and eye fastenings are so, so soft.
The lilac/blue embroidery is breathtaking. Has a semi-precious stone pendant attached to center gore. Lower sections of the cup consist of two layers of brown mesh (upper layer embroidered), upper section of one embroidered layer.
Fully adjustable straps are also embroidered halfway.
Materials used are great, construction is impeccable.
Too big https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I love the narrow wires and the close setness of the bra. The idea of the design is lovely but it's just not good at all for my ladies. I found out about Euro sizes not doing all the double letter cups AFTER I purchased this, so it's about two cup sizes too small. The stretchy velvet band along the top just flattened them. Would better fit a FOB 28F, 28E maybe. I really wanted to like this bra but it's a definite fail for my shape.
This bra is gorgeous. Materials are very luxurious, I almost don't want to let it go despite the atrocious fit.
At first I thought the fit wasn't so bad. It turns out I was using part of the cups as the band. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" />. Once I put an extender on the bra it became obvious how HUGE the cups were. This bra completely engulfs the cups from my Ewa 32ff and has room to spare!!
The lesson: believe their band size chart, and the cup size portion LIES. I measure out at 105cm across the bust and was worried that the H cups (102cm for the 70 band I tried) might be small. Ha!!!! I need one, maybe two cups sizes smaller.
As for fit, I believe this to have excellent immediate projection, but the size is too far off for me to guess at anything more.
Too big in the cups and fits on the tightest hook. The front half of the straps are covered in the blue lace but it would be possible to adjust the straps over it if needed. Pretty little multicolored striped bow at the center gore. Three rows of three hooks. The coloring is nice, dusty blue flowered lace and sheer unadorned brown mesh. The back of the band is not mesh, but and opaque bikini-like quality. The back is brown.
Will be returned. Too flowered lace for my taste anyway, but ordered as a size try-out, so it was not a surprise it didn't fit. Band is definitely looser than the Annick in love in the same size.
It seems my Avocado size will be a 75G, perhaps a 70 band. I was adviced to size up in the band by Avocado, but the band wasn't as "polish" tight as I had expected.
Too big in the cups, band fits on the second hook. Pretty little bow at the center in two pattern (rosea/dots). Cups is blakc mesh with small dots. Cups are trimmed with green ruffled band. It's not elastic in cup or band. Back of band is not mesh but of an opaque bikini-like quality. The center gore is perhaps a little too low for my shape and maybe floats a tiny bit - but mostly because it's low, I think. But it is definity still a balconette, not a plunge a all.
This bra is incredibly beautiful, but way too big for me. I put it on overtop of my 65GG - Ewa Michalak » Ch Purple (223) and there is still empty space in the cup, so would probably be a better fit for someone who wears a ~28J.
The band is firm, fastens with 3 hooks, and feels comfortable to me on the loosest hook.
This is currently my best-fitting bra. The wires are slightly narrower than the 60J - Avocado » Cancan (S148D) and the band slightly tighter, it fits on the tightest hook.
The straps are very stretchy, but fully adjustable, and this is is one of the few bras where I am satisfied with the distance between the straps. The cups are a light mesh, and give a rounded shape.
This is a great warm-weather bra, due to being breathable mesh, and is a nice halfcup cut. The straps are fully adjustable, but very stretchy, and I have them shortened all the way. The band is rather stretchy as well, but not a whole size too large, just on the looser side. (I need a firm 28 band, or what a 26 made by a regular UK brand would likely fit as if they bothered to make them.)
I ordered this to replace a 75K which was too big in the band and cups, this is far too small in the band and cups now, there seems to be a big difference between the 70 and 75 band
I don't know what sorcery they've used with this bikini top - it's unlined, stretchy swimsuit material and I can't believe the shape and support it gives me. The band is definitely too loose (which I expected - bought it on clearance) and rides up a bit. Despite that, it is supportive enough to swim in although I may shorten the band a bit if I want to do water aerobics. It has fully adjustable straps, which are pretty hard to adjust actually but at least I know they won't constantly need to be tightened while swimming. The band is non-adjustable as it has a single clasp - metal, not plastic.
Oh how I wished this fit. This is the "F model" that Avocado calls a demicup. It is very lightly padded (less so than EM or Comexim) with a lower neckline than the K models. The underwires are a touch wider than the K model as well but not so much that I get empty space on the sides.
I find all of the Avocado bras I've ordered (4 at this point) are nicer in person than they photograph. There are lovely little touches that overall give a more luxurious feeling and for my particular shape, the fit can't be beat.
This is my first time ordering from Avocado so I wasn't sure which size to order and this bra is too big. I wear a 32J in Brav own brand, 34H in Cleo Marcie, this band is a little loose, like a tight 34 but there is too much material in the top of the cups althopugh I am filling the bottom. The bra is beautiful though, very sheer and delicate but supportive feeling so I will probably try another size.
Ha! That was me. The bra was obviously too big but I just kept looking at it and thinking that it was too beautiful to sell.
