My very first well-fitting bra! Bratabase says it doesn't fit, but it does! I'm guessing it's because I marked that I get the dreaded quadboob effect--but only on my biggest breast and it's minimal! It's also a bit tight in the sternum, but I have this problem with all of my bras now since I'm splayed and really should only wear low gores. My breasts also start up high and the straps irritate my arms/armpits a bit. I'd say it fits TTS overall. Only sister size up if you're not used to the tighter bands yet.

ETA: I've added an extender and it's ... helped with the issues I had with this bra. The quadraboob is gone, the straps aren't pulled into my armpits, and the gore doesn't bother me. This is still my best-fitting bra. It's really supportive because it cradles all of my boobage thanks to the higher cup. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the natural shape it gives, but I can live with it. I just need a 34E, which seems to be my size all around--except for Freya, I think.

Really pretty bra, quite pointy (but not ridiculously so!)
Didn't really fit properly for me, gore wouldn't tack completely, and there was some wrinkling in the top of the cup. This was the first Bravissimo bra I bought, and was quite impressed with the quality.
However, when I was wearing it last week, the wire at the gore popped out! Due to the above fit issues, I haven't bothered to try to fix it, so I no longer own this bra.

God I LOVE this bra. Gives that beautiful shelf 'wentch' look. The only issue with it is it looks *massive* when you're not wearing it - quite a shock when you take it out of the packaging. So so comfy, can wear all day long without an issue. The fit problems I have are because I've lost 2 stone now, so my boobs have sadly deflated a bit as well as the back now being a bit big. Before I lost the weight it was my perfect perfect bra.

  4. Sweet Medley Bra (LN176)

Nabbed this on a whim, mostly because it was on sale (as far as Bravissimo ever puts things on sale) and I wanted an unlined plunge bra.

The fabric is quite starchy, which led to some scratching from the ribbons on my first wear, but I expect that to ease with a wash or two.

The band is stretchy, more Freya than Cleo. Gives good shape and uplift. I get some cutting-in along the cup's top edge, because these days I'm a deep breath away from being a 30G, and also because I have inner fullness. The flip side of that is that the top edge of the cup is firm enough that it does an okay job of arresting the plunge slide my soft tissue is partial to, so I don't have to do too much readjusting during the day.

I got to try this swimsuit out in the water yesterday and it was great! Mr. BF immediately informed me of how great I looked in it when I came out of the change room, and I felt very comfortable in it as we raced up the hill and down the water slides, despite my shadow looking like it had boobs bigger than head. Are shadows quite accurate?

It's pretty tricky to put on. I have to pull it on over my head, down to my chest, and then lift one boob at a time into the cups. Dealing with two sets of hooks and eyes, one coming off ... one going on was difficult and sweaty work, so I opted to not change out of the suit after swimming and threw my shirt and shorts on over it. During the hours that followed I found that the wires were too wide and dug in like many of the Panache bras I own.

One final note, I'm very glad the bottoms I received were of the fold-up-or-down variety as without the bottoms folded up, my bottom roll of fat would have been hanging out under the top. Other reviews I've read have indicated that this is a common problem with this particular swim top.

So close! Very nice, soft, flexible wires. The first bra I've found with wide enough wires for me... just a shape mismatch in the cups. Straps are way too far apart for me.Very beautiful bra.

This bra has been altered slightly (moving straps for a better fit on a smaller frame). The band is very snug and I think it runs a bit tight - I had to take the bra off at one point because I felt a little woozy. So a tighter 28.

The fit is not that great. When I loosen the straps as much as I can, the bra fits and there is no quadraboob. However, it... sags. There isn't much support or uplift, which, considering it's a plunge bra, is not good news.

When I tighten the straps, the uplift gets better and I get some cleavage, but after a ... few minutes, there is quadboobing. Unfortunately, I don't think it's about the size that much - I have a feeling that even a bigger size would feel strange on me. Maybe a cut that's not flattering on my boob-type? I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm usually a 28HH, so this would mean having to size two cups up to get even close to a fit...

Otherwise, it's a very pretty, almost luxurious bra made from stretchy black lace over an underlayer of black mesh. It creates decent cleavage - not the usual modest balconnette effect and not the va-voom of a Freya Deco, but something in the middle, which suits me just fine. The straps are amazingly soft and quite stretchy

This is a decently fitting bra, but I'm not a fan of the build of it. I think they must have cheaped out on the materials or something, because I am having issues where the elastic feels like it's stretching out too early. I got this bra a couple of weeks ago, so I don't want to be wearing it on the second hook already.

Also, the wires tend to poke through the gore a little bit. They don't puncture the fabric, but you can feel them and it can be quite uncomfortable. Luckily, the bow is there and you can just tug on it and adjust it so it's not hitting your sternum anymore, Haha. I think it can look weird with a low cut shirt- my boyfriend thought I had stuffed my bra with paper when I had a tank on. lol.

I think I would recommend the Paradise Fizz over this bra. It's just built stronger.

Love the pattern and it's made very well. But the 36F size is a little small in the cups for me and gives a REALLY projected torpedo effect. Most of this I can attribute to the extra bit of support built in along the sides of the cup, I think. It's all made from very stretchy lycra so it pulls everything in and forward quite a bit. I'm going to try a size up and see how we do https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

  12. Candy Bliss Bra (LN173)

This looks and feels quite similar to the Freya bombshell balcony plunge - similar shape, fabric, colours. The main difference is that Candy Bliss has a stretch-lace upper cup, and a higher central gore. The Freya comes up bigger - I needed @30F in Freya compared to 30FF in @Bravissimo. I'm comparing both together as I splurged on both of them on the same day.

I found the band on Candy Bliss feels slightly tighter, but it could be because it feels like it has less stretch. The shape, although fairly front-projecting, feels like it gives a slightly narrower ... profile than the Bombshell and is quite slimming. Under a thin top the outline of the seam between the lace upper cup and the lower cup can be seen. A large proportion of the cup is see-through lace, so beware if wearing a light, see-through top on a chilly day as one's nips can be observed.

The straps are quite stretchy, but firm and fairly wide. They are quite soft on the underside and a pale peachy colour. They feel a little wide-set, as if I want to pull them up my shoulders a bit, but they don't slip down at all.

Now that I've had a chance to road-test both bras, my conclusion was that the Freya Bombshell was comfortable from the moment I tried it until the end of the day. Unfortunately with the Bravissimo Candy Bliss I found it started to get irritating after a couple of hours, with the gore digging into my sternum and the stretchy bits feeling just a bit too stretchy! As it just couldn't compare to the overall comfort of the Freya I decided to return it. It's a beautiful looking bra, though, so I'm sure it would be more forgiving on somebody with a higher wire tolerance than me. If I hadn't bought the Freya at the same time I probably would have kept the Bravissimo offering.

Cute. Nice color. Quality seems very good. Very simple suit.

Just plain too big in the cups for me. Wire width is fine, though. One side seem wider than the other. This may be a manufacturing defect or just a fluke or something. I tried to average the 2 cup widths for the measurements.

Coverage over the stomach is a bit tight and short for me. I probably prefer my bands on the tight end of the spectrum, so I may have to size up for swimwear so that the rest of the tankini fits me more flatteringly. I'm assuming that if it gets wet, though, that it will stretch ... a bit. I only tried it on a few times to ascertain what size would work best for me. The back is also too long for me, but this is typical for commercial sizing + my body. If you have a lower back dip + a sticky-outy-type butt + narrower/deeper frame like me, it might also be too long in the back.

The medium bottoms I got with it are a little small on me still. Would probably fit me in about 6 months given my current trend in weight loss, but right now they're too tight. Would need a large to fit over my bum/hips.

very supportive bra but as day wears on my full in the middle boobs try to escape over the center gore giving slight overboob right in the middle. this is very slight, doesnt really show through clothes, and doesn't affect how safe I feel in this bra. I wear a 34 and maybe should go to a 32, however I have never had a wire pop out of the end ( I have worn one of these so much I wore away the wire covering in the middle of the wire), and am reluctant to size down as wonder if that would put the wires under more strain and so make them pop. My current 2 are 6 months old and still look good. I usually machine wash!

I think the cobalt blue 30F Bravissimo Demi Diva Bra runs bigger in the cups than many of their other half cup bras, including Tanzania Stripe in the same size. I tried their Mademoiselle in the green/purple color combo, and it fit well, like the Tanzania Stripe, in 30F.

The cobalt blue Demi Diva, however, has straps that are just too wide for me, a rare problem for me despite my height. I have broad, square shoulders. The Diva's straps, however, dig into my armpits, and my arms push back, wrinkling the top of the cups a bit.

The Diva's cups also seem to come up higher than the other Bravissimo half cups I've tried. I still get the cakes on a plate profile, and I love the color, but this bra is just not comfortable for me. I also no longer tolerate the high gores of half cups well, unless they are super cushioned, as they are in some extremely high end bras.

    Didn't fit

When I received Bravissimo's Ivory/Ice Pink Rococo Charm bra late November 2012 or early December 2012, it fit well. I would've ordered a 28F, the size I already had in Bravissimo's Tanzania Stripe, but they were out. The Ivory/Ice Pink 28FF Rococo Charm arrived, and it fit! Now, mid-February 2013, it seems to flatten me out a bit, if I look at the side profile. (A few weeks ago, I tried the Tanzania Stripe in 28FF and 28G, because my 28F Tanzania Stripes (I bought two) no longer seemed to cover enough, though they didn't flatten me from the side view. To my surprise, and you can read ... about it in my 28G Tanzania Stripe review, both sizes fit. There was less mounding above the top line of the cups in the 28G, but I still got that Marie Antoinette cleavage.) I wonder whether my cup size has gone up. If it has gone up, will it go back down during different parts of my cycle? I don't know.

What I did conclude about the Rococo Charms (I bought two) in 28FF is it is a much less comfortable bra than my 28F Tanzania Stripes. I haven't worn the Rococo Charms much as a result. I have enough comfortable bras now that I don't have to tolerate scratchy materials, poking underwires, or digging in straps. The underwires are not too wide for me in the 28FF Ivory/Ice Pink Rococo Charm, but the channel should be cushioned better.

The colors used in this bra are unfortunately a good example of how not to combine colors. The outside surfaces look fine, but the inside juxtaposes a cooler pink with a warmer pink. The warmer colored underwire channel and back band therefore looked dirty, even when new.

On the good side, the outside color is very pretty and can pass as a nude color for me. I mainly wear dark tops to minimize my upper body, but occasionally I want to wear a nude color bra.

    Edited to add:
Since I bought the 28FF Bravissimo Rococo Charm Bra, I've discovered I can wear 30 bands and still get adequate shaping and support. For comfort, therefore, I no longer wear 28 bands, except in bras with extremely stretchy 30 bands. For this reason, I would suggest you look at the band measurements of this bra and compare them to yours, if you're thinking of getting this.

White strappy top by Bravissimo with built in bra. Bought years ago, worn few times and been forgotten in drawer as i just didnt get on well with it. Cups were really roomy, made my breasts look bigger than they are, but straps didnt make me feel secure as usually i wear bra with wider straps. It is longer in body than black one i've listed and did cover my tummy, measures 43cm down back and 48cm down centre front, not including straps. Band stretchy. As the top is white it has some light discolouration from antiperperant in underarm area. I havent tried to use a bleach or similar, it might work. I believe still plenty of wear in it for somebody who loves strappy tops.
