This bra is slightly too big in the band and slightly too small in the cup for me. Ideally I'd have a 34K, but...I really have limited options in my size, so I wear this bra all the time anyway. I pretty much can't do any full cup bras because they all cut in at the top, and there's a limited selection of plunges or half cups in a K. Anyway, its super comfy, gives nice cleavage, the center gore is nice and low so it never shows with low necklines and I can basically shove my boobs in to reduce the quad boob. I'd recommend it to anyone who's a bit smaller than I, or anyone my size working with what they can get. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":-D" />
What a relief to find a bra that fits without painful underwires, unsightly underarm bulges, and a fairly smooth appearance under clothes without padding or molded cups. I love this bra. It's comfy and flattering. The wires are wide enough for my wide root boobs. The half cup style is subtly sexy.
Updated 10/10/2012: I love this bra so much I bought another. If I could've gotten my hands on the Bravissimo Demi Diva in red, the unpadded half cup bra the Tanzania Stripe is based on, I would've. Same goes for the Bravissimo Rococo Charm. I'm anxiously awaiting Bravissimo's winter collection, which is supposed to be available later this month. They're going to have a pale pink with black lace, unpadded, half cup bra. Also, my boyfriend loves this bra.
I have tried this shape in a size 34GG, a 32H and a 34HH. They all have the same problem for me, regardless of size. In a 32H, which was the closest fit, I got an extremely pointy shape and there was loose fabric where the meshy part meets the satin part. It was really nice in the bottom of the cup. But the middle was too loose and very pointy. At the same time the top of the cup cut in to my breast. So it was too big in some places and too small in others. In the biggest size I tried I managed to not ...have quadbood. I filled the meshy part alright, and somewhat the bottom part, but the middle part of the cup, where the seams meet, I could pull out 6 cm. of loose fabric (so that's actually 12 cm, since it lays double of course). So this is definately a shape I can get to work for me. I think it's better if your breasts aren't full on top. (which I from this guess that mine must be..) Read more 77 more words
This doesn't fit me. I fill the bottom of the cup, but at the center of the cup, at the seams, there is empty fabric. I can pinch maybe 1 1/2 cm of empty cup. This gives a really pointy shape that I don't like. It cuts slightly at the top of my breasts, but I don't think a bigger cup would help, since my breasts are not shaped in a way that could fill out the point/tip of the cup. They may be good if your breasts have more forward projection than mine.
It looked alright. At first. But it did nothing to lift or shape, and it really pulled my boobs downwards and outward. Also slight tendency to look pointy. I wore it for a few hours and I got horrible back pains and muscle tension. Also had to readjust ALL THE TIME, since my boobs tried to escape upwards and inwards. Half my boob would literally hang out of it, towards the center. No cleavage what do ever. Slightly lifted, but made me look bigger with clothes since the cups are so far apart. Really tight at the top of the cup, but a little wrinkly at the middle/bottom. Will probably work a lot better for bottom heavy breasts. Mine simply wouldn't corporate with this bra.
This is a very pretty bra, and I really like its all-round softness. Pros: - soft material, even the lace is very skin-friendly - excellent underwires. Not too tall nor too low, and at least on me they settle perfectly around my boobs - sturdy - I really like the shape this bra gives. It's very rounded, but not quite so in-your-face like Freya Deco or Ewa Michalak CHPs. The profile shape is slightly "flattened", making my boobs look a cupsize or so smaller
Cons: - nothing I'd complain about, but be warned if you have narrow shoulders: the straps are placed quite wide, which might pose a problem
Beautiful bra, and amazingly supportive and shaping for an unpadded bra! Does just as well a job as a padded bra. Extremely similar to the Diva Demi bra, suprised it doesn't say it is based on the same shape. Too small for me though https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I was advised that this bra fits the same as Rococo Charm but it doesn't at all. First I bought it in 30F (as I fit the Rococo 30F), tried it at home and nope it was massively too big. I re-ordered in 30E (I think I meant to get 28E, oops!) thanks to Bravissimo's good exchange policy. Again it was too big in the cup and the band too. Maybe a 28E would fit but as I mentioned in my Rococo Charm review, I've found that this style digs into my sternum so I will just return it if I am able to. Really the Rococo fits small in the cup and this probably fits too big in the cup. Definitely not exactly the same fit as I was told. Maybe she meant they are the same shape to look at which is true?! Very pretty luxurious fabric, more so than the Rococo, fabric seems more substantial so may be good for ladies with larger boobs?
This bra is a good fit in the cup with the band fastened on the 2nd row of hooks (middle row) as the band a touch too loose - but only slightly. The main problem with this one is that the gore is far too high for me and digs in terribly. It leaves angry red indentations despite the comfortably generous under band. I've had this problem a few times before and so I now am sure that I need to avoid balconettes with very high central gores completely. Such a shame as the colour and shape of this bra are lovely - I ...really like the look. The main annoyance with this gore problem is that it's not apparent until after I have worn the bra for half an hour and then I feel like it can't be returned. However, as I was fitted for this in the Bravissimo store I might be able to (Debenhams goes by the rule that if they fitted you it should have been right, I think). I bought it as an 'under white tops bra' as it is very nearly skin colour and I though I might get away with it. It seems fine under your thicker type tight white tops but I still wouldn't risk it under thin ones. Read more 117 more words
It's a unpadded half-cup. It's too small in cups for me and I don't think the shape is ok for my soft, heavy on the bottom breast. This bra would be better for somebody with fuller boobs. It's a pretty bra, black and sexyhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
This is an unusual bra. The straight-across cut off the cups is not like any other bra I own, and may be a little daring for some. It's not the most supportive shape, but it could be worse. I had to tighten the straps almost all the way to get good uplift, so some may find the straps too short. They are fully-adjustable. I got a good rounded shape from this bra, which I think would be even better if you are full on top (I'm really not). The colour is a bright pillar-box red with leopard print bows. It's a great colour, but is let down for me ...by the embroidery on the cups, which feels very old-fashioned. The main problems I have with this bra are the wires. The centre gore is very high and digs in for me, as I have little space between my breasts. The cups are wide too, which doesn't work for my shape. The wires were not comfortable for me, but might have been better if I'd bent the bra to my shape. Ultimately, I returned it so I did not have an opportunity to do this. Read more 84 more words

I was merely curious about owning a multi-way bra. Why can't DD+ have this too? Bravissimo's review section seemed to overwhelmingly agree that the band ran very loose on this bra so I decided to down to a 28 band. This is my first try with Bravissimo's own brand and my hunch was my usual size may run about 30GG so cup compensation meant I ordered a 28H.
Shape is quite natural on me. ...In comparison to soft cups from Freya (bullet-boob pointy) and Cleo (well rounded for my shape) this bra falls somewhere in the middle. In both sets of regular straps it is relatively comfy but tight on the shoulders. I will play more with adjusting and wearing and update my review accordingly soon. Halters are usually only tolerable for a short while for me so I'm going to have to give it a try for a while and update here.
Measured immediately before wearing. Purchased late-June 2012 from Bravissimo. Read more 86 more words
Simply insanely wide wires - literally touched my shoulder-blades! Can't imagine who that is designed for :/ The strap was attached to the back of the band only 1" away from the wire - who is this shaped for!? I did that test too where you close the bra, and see if it can lay flat (if it can, then at least half the circumsphere is band, rather than cup) it could absolutely not lay flat! Which means way more than half the bra was cup. I don't get it. I think this may be a flaw only with specific sizes, because I've seen other have succes with it ...- maybe they only 're-design' the cups for some size, and for others they just shorten the bands. Hmm..
Other than that, quite lovely - Very good shape! I am a fan of padded bras, but this shape and comfort (besides wires) would live up to my requirements https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It also looks great - there is side support on the cup, which takes up about 1/3 which isn't as cute, but good for shape, I guess. The straps start at this part too, so about 1/3 into the cup. Read more 94 more words
I read some reviews online that said that Bravissimo bras run small in the cup and as this is my very first Bravissimo brand bra I ordered a size up from my normal 30G - mistake! I wish I'd just tried it in my usual size because the 30GG is a bit too big on me.
Band feels like a good 30 sports band - a bit tighter than an everyday bra. I liked the band tightness.
Unfortunately I couldn't wait to take this off after trying it on because the underwires were so uncomfortable and dug into my ribs in one spot. I've got limited options in an underwired ...sports bra (I desperately want something for all day hiking that will wick sweat away from in between my boobs) and the Freya Underwired Active sports bra doesn't work for me (shape issues and it's too wide set) so I'm going to persevere with this style and order in a cup size smaller next time. I'll probably do major modifications to bend the underwires and then pad them out with some thick, sweat-friendly padding because this wouldn't be wearable after 30 minutes, let alone 6 hours.
PROS
1. High center gore
Doesn't dig into the breast tissue at all even towards the center of my chest (like the Freya Active underwired sports bra does). And it's narrow so it doesn't push your boobs too far apart
2. Forward facing
Doesn't push you boobs sideways and keeps them front on. Great for boobs that sit close together
3. Padded and wide shoulder straps
I felt like they would stay in place. Only just was able to tighten them tight enough in length however! (May not work if you find straps are always too long). These only adjust part of the way.
4. Good fit in the band
I thought the size 30 was exactly right for a sports bra - just a little tighter than an everyday bra.
5. Sports fabrics
The cups are constructed with that light, man-made sports fabric that dries really quick when you wash it and wicks sweat from the skin into the bra where it can dry out faster.
CONS
1. Underwire casing is like a "normal" bra - not padded enough!
The underwires have no extra padding and are instead cased in a regular everyday bra casing. In a sports bra I like more padding so that metal doesn't dig in during activity - the Panache Sports bra in comparison is so heavily padded on the inside that unless you look at the stitching it's hard to be sure there are underwires in there.
The underwires in this size dug into my ribs about an inch towards my sides from their lowest points under my boobs. It really hurt and I was constantly shifting the bra up and around trying to find a good spot. I took this off
2. The underwires are still very wide
Yes, the bra underwires sit nice and close in the center but man they're still really wide! I'm going to try one size down but I'm really quite concerned that even then these will sit too far under my arms.
3. Double layer fabric in cups
The double layers of fabric can provide extra support but this is the type that kinda sticks together in places and doesn't in others leading to wrinkles galore on the top layer. Drives me crazy. Read more 444 more words
The fact is that this bra is very sturdy, very comfortable and supportive. The bounce is next to none. It feels good on me, the cup is definitely the right size, but I still get a minimal quadraboob in the very top section of my breasts. It doesn't show from under clothes, but without a shirt it's there. I also get a very pointy shape, though it doesn't bother me - with the technical side in order (bounce control) I don't give a **** about the looks. It's a sports bra for bigger cups and it looks like one.
