Gorgeous bra, but the cups are unfortunately way too wide for me.

Great everyday bra, comfortable and does not show through t-shirts. Band is very stretchy, cups may run a bit on the small side, perhaps half a cup size too small. Straps are a bit wide set for my liking; they rub my arms. Center gore is high, but not uncomfortable. Wires do not rise too high or rub under arms.

Great shape--combination of rounded and uplifted-- and fit. However, the fabric does abrade the skin after a long day of wear. Originally bought during pregnancy; wore through and then after for several months. Worked for breastfeeding (pull down cup, slip strap over shoulder).

I'm so frustrated. I was counting on this to work, but for me it doesn't. The cups are too separate, and the volume of the cups is placed wrong for me. It has a sort of flat "panel" that pushes my breasts down.
It looks like the orange in the glass effect, but simply, but breasts don't work for bras that are not completely open. Cups generally curves out at the wire, around the breast, and then inward over the breasts. I need bras that don't curve in. I need cups that are open like a half cup. I need a half cup plunge!

The bra looks very nice, and the band feels nice with an extender. But the straps are very stretchy. They do adjust all the way though.

Beautiful and comfortable bra. I've never had cleavage from a non-padded plunge before but I do with this one. In other Bravissimo own-brand bras I am a 30H but in this I'm a 30GG.

My breasts look like lovely round orbs. So neat. It comes in gorgeous colours, I have the red. Haven't worn it enough to comment on the fit yet.

The lace of this bra doesn't lie flat, which seems to be a design feature. The diagonal seam appears to bisect the breast tissue when my arm is raised.

The color in my pictures (on the wooden table) is not very true to life for the black/pistachio version. It always looks like an olive green in pictures, but it is actually a very pale green.

I find the band a bit looser than other Bravissimo bras like the Fleur and Contour strapless, but similar to the Satine. This is my standard size in most bras.

Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the ... bra was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of the bra near the time of purchase. Since the bra was purchased, my breasts have grown and the bra no longer fits properly. Below are my comments on the current state of the bra:

The band on this bra has not stretched significantly while I have owned it; I can still wear it on the loosest hook.

Update (February 2013): I have now had to move to the second set of hooks, about 4.5 months after purchase with wearing it about twice a week and handwashing after every time it was worn.

This bra is adorable, and when I had the opportunity to get my hands on it from a listing here on Bratabase I jumped at the opportunity. The previous owner said that it would fit someone who regularly wears a 28F or 28FF, and being between the two sizes and having it fit perfectly, I agree. The only thing about this bra is that I can comfortably fasten it on the 3rd set of hooks right away. I'm not sure if this is just because it's really stretchy or because it's been worn previously.

  9. Boudoir Beau (PA07)

Overall, this bra is a good everyday choice. The band across the top of the cups comes thisclose to cutting in, but never quite does, and it is comfortable for all day wear.

I would prefer a closer set and rounder profile, but it gets good uplift and a fine overall shape. Seams are a little bit visible under thin T-shirts, but nothing terrible.

The band is nice and firm, and the straps fully adjustable. The lace has a bit of give, but I wouldn't call it stretchy; it holds its shape well.

    Recommended.

  10. Satine Bra (AU15)

I went for the sister size of my old 32HH as the band was loose on me, I have to wear the old one on last hook. This smaller band-same cup volume combo is working great and the red colour is wonderful.
    Pros:
    - very pretty
    - extremely comfortable
    - supportive for a plunge
    - sturdy band
    - broad straps, feel soft
    - a true plunge, can be worn with deep necklines

    Cons:
    - doesn't come in bigger than J-cup

At first I thought this bra seemed a bit big in the cups. There was a little more wrinkling at the top and the outer edge of the cups than I would like- I think partly because the cups were a little too roomy and partly because the underwires were a little too wide. But now that I've been wearing it for about half an hour, my boobs seem to have settled in nicely. My boobs are a little deflated up top, so the lace is puckering out a little, and I definitely am not totally filling the cup all the way to the underwire under my arm, ... but there's barely any wrinkling. I really like the shape and lift it gives.

I'm wearing the band on the tightest hook right now, and have the straps tightened as much as possible, and it's comfortable and supportive now. I hope it doesn't stretch out too quickly https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Tailoring it would be a pain.

The fabric seems really sturdy- a lot more substantial than most bras I've tried. You can definitely tell the difference between this bra, which is 26% cotton, and other bras that are entirely synthetic.

The ribbons laced through the embroidery on the cups and straps don't seem to be very sturdily sewn in, though. The ribbon on one of the straps came off, and the ribbon on one of the cups seems like it's not hanging on very tightly. It's not a big deal though. (I kind of prefer it without the ribbons.)

This bra runs small in the cup. The 28GG I tried on the other day was much better, this one gives me significant quadboob. Onto the rest of the review:

I love the look of this bra. The material is nice and soft with a bit of shine, so it looks and feels good. The back is more see-through, some kind of stretchy mesh; I like it also.

I've been wearing this one all day and it is pretty comfy. I like the shape it gives me and I also get a little bit of cleavage from it, which is nice.

Overall, this might be my favorite so far. No need to sacrifice looks for comfort or vice-versa it seems.

This bra is the eleventh bra down in the linked post!

Bravissimo sold the Thea plunge bra online in yellow, but it was also available in black and white in stores in the winter of 2012.

To update the review a bit, I really like this as a non-padded plunge. It gives a good shape on me, but shows a bit too much cleavage for my liking. If I lengthen the straps, it reduces the cleavage but then the shape isn't quite as nice. I think it would be ideal for someone who likes cleavage, or with less upper fullness than I have.

Have a little loose fabric at the top of the bra, but I think this is more my bottom-heavy, soft breasts than the size (would work a bit better with full on top breasts). Could possibly have gone for a GG over the H, but then my larger breast may not have been comfortable. Overall a wearable everyday bra - I have no others currently that fit so I can't be too picky, with returns being difficult from my country.
Band quite fitted at first but is quickly loosening up (at 31 inches I'm between sizes, but generally find 32 bands too loose too soon). I bent the ... underwires to fit my rib shape, as my ribs protrude quite a bit directly under my breasts (mild scoliosis). This made it much more comfortable. Wider wires encapsulate all my wide-root breast tissue. Tiny bit of orange in a glass with the shape, but not enough to be a 'no'. Overall shape is fairly good, natural though slightly pointy in a couple of tops. Will do fine until I have a bigger (any) selection of bras.

This bra was obviously way too small in the cup for me. I really loved the look of it once it was on, though, and it felt very sturdy. (though how much of that was due to massive compression is anyone's guess.) the materials felt really quality, and I absolutely loved the comfort of the straps. The band felt tighter to me than the same sized pinkish rococo charm, but that could also be a difference in cups, not sure.

The bra fits okay, and my bras stay in place (they don't with the Deco). I don't like plunge bras for daily use so this was purchased for use under low-cut tops.

I find the band a bit looser than other Bravissimo bras like the Fleur and Contour strapless, but similar to the Rococo Charm bra. This is my standard size in most brands of bra.

This is a very beautiful bra, and I would definitely recommend it. The fabric is a lot more comfortable and less stiff than Bravissimo's "Satine" which is it's sister style. I don't have knock-out cleavage in this bra, but as someone with bottom-heavy breasts cleavage is hard to come by! There is almost enough room in the bottom of the cup to accommodate my shape, which I find is rare. The 28H perfectly fits the shape of my bust, though for those with a top-heavy bust the top of the cup may dig in.

The only major downside is the back, which was on the tightest hooks straight away. I can still wear it on this setting without it riding up, but this of course dramatically reduces the life of this bra. I wish it was available in a 26HH, then it would be perfect.

A comfortable bra with a (somehow) really soft and unintrusive band, however the band seems really stretchy. Feels like it's barely there however the cups are way too big for me as well as the band. I assume it should work for regular 30Es but perhaps not exactly for those with shallow breasts.
