Well-made. Keeps my boobs apart, which is hard to find for me. Pretty comfortable, about as comfy as an under-wire is going to get I'd imagine. Does stretch out with wear. I would probably go up a cup size if buying again because I do spill out of the top/sides of the cup if I move around a lot.
this bra runs hilariously small compared to the other cacique t shirt bras, which seems odd in that the only difference is supposed to be in appearance. the DDD was a usually a bit small, but this fit like a D, maybe. the only good thing about it is the straps, the only reason i stuck with Cacique Cotton T-shirt Bra (53465) for so long. it can convert to a racerback, so i could move the hooks to keep the straps closer together, straps never slipped again, used to be a huge problem.
Just got it and tried it on, and oh my goodness it feels amazing. I was sure the cup was going to be too big - r/ABraThatFits suggested I would fit a 38 F/G and this is an H, but it fits well. I love the padding, and it's really comfortable. I noticed as soon as I put it on my posture was better too! We'll see how it wears, but first impressions are fantastic! Not the prettiest bra in the world, but I don't care!
Second impressions after having it for a couple days: this bra is awful. The bottom of the cups wrinkle and the fabric comes up too high under my arms. I ended up being really sore after wearing this for 5 hours. Right size, awful fit.
This bra is not mine. My friend's wife let me measure and photograph it for Bratabase's database. But, to me, this bra seemed awfully cheaply made like a Victoria's Secret bra.
It's comfy enough but there's something wonky with the gore and I was stupid and listened to the lady at the Lane Bryant that there's nothing wrong with having a gore that doesn't tack. It's also cute, which is nice.
Th foam edge on the cups rolls up so the outline f the cup is clearly visible under your clothes. The bra is cut too high under the arms and the straps are very far apart.
This bra holds up very well through years of wear and machine washing. Elastic, as any elastic does, tends to weaken but I still wear these bras daily. It's definitely a bra you feel, so if it doesn't fit well it will be unbearable. I don't mind being "bra aware" and I am definitely well confined in this bra. No jiggling here! It isn't a beautiful bra, but it's definitely my go-to.
This bra has a very nice cut. It fit nicely when i first got it however I've lost about 10 pounds and I believe I've gone down a band size and possibly up a cup as the band no longer fits but Im quading in the front. Aside from my fit issues the band is supportive when it fit and did not ride up throughout the day.
I bought a couple of these when Lane Bryant had one of their frequent sales. The bras are generally pretty comfortable for large sizes and the shape they give you is fairly conservative and innocuous, which makes them good for work. They are fine for most t-shirts, unless they are too thin or see-through. However, these make me feel a bit dowdy. Generally I prefer bras that provide more lift and are less wide set.
OK I don't actually have this bra, but I did try it on in the store today. I am a 42G in Elomi bras at Nordstroms. [edit - ha! I'm a 38H at Nordstrom. Fitter error.] I tried on the 42G in this bra at Cacique.
Whereas I fit the Elomi bra perfectly, the gore on the French full coverage bra wouldn't tack, the underwires were too shallow, I had noticeable quad-boob, the band rode up, and it was just uncomfortable.
Obviously they've incorrectly sized this bra. The Cacique fitters were surprised that it was noticeably smaller than the other lines of bras that they carry in the same size.
I've had this bra for a year but I lost track of it and didn't wear it for a few months. It's my best fitting bra at the moment.
I fill the cups well and the straps are easy to adjust. It lays flat on my sternum without digging in. I worry that the sides are not supportive enough because they sit next to my breast and not behind it. The band fits well and sits the in right spot.
When I first got this bra, it fit great. I wish I would have written a review then. But now.... It's still a great bra, quality wise. I'm just falling out of it. I have to pack myself into the cups.
Pros: pretty color, and the straps are divine. Cons: band is way too loose. I ordered it in a smaller size, just to see, and it was still very loose (i.e. slides up anytime you move/breathe). Odd fabric; makes it hard to scoop and swoop; too satiny for my tastes. Stretched out in a matter of weeks.
This bra is incredibly uncomfortable because it is just too small. It is a larger cup size than my other bra of the same brand, but it is much smaller in both the band and the cup. It also has the uncomfortable band supports that did into your sides.
This is an excellent bra. It has foam underwire padding under the cup that makes it so comfortable and prevents the underwire from digging into me. The really uncomfortable part of this bra is the plastic supports in the side of the band which curve and stab me. I will be removing these later.
At my most recent trip to Lane Bryant, I picked up this bra thinking that it wouldn't fit because it is the same size as the t-shirt bras I had previously bought and weren't quite fitting anymore. It was the last bra of that style there, and was just hanging out on a random rack. My first impression? This bra is gorgeous. Fucking gorgeous. Luckily, the bra fit like a dream.
It is has a soft, half cup lining, with a black and gold overlay. Each cup has boning, and three bows along with a bow at the gore. Wearing this bra makes me feel sexy.
The gore is ...wider than any other bra that I own, and because my boobs are considered separate, the width really worked out for me. The gore lies flat against my chest and doesn't move. The only con is that I can't wear this bra under clothes. The boning and bows both show through clothing. This is a great piece, but definitely not for everyday wear.
Update 6/28/2013: It is blindingly obvious to me that this bra does not fit anymore, but it's so gosh darn pretty that I can't get rid of it. The wires are far too narrow, and I now get an odd quadboob within the bra, where the line and lace meet. Read more 114 more words
