A nice t-shirt bra, but I somehow do not fill the bottom of these cups. They are folding into me? Anyway, band's too loose, too. This Chantelle bra does not give me as much separation as the other Chantelle bras I've reviewed (which is a good thing), but is still more separate than I want. This is a pretty good bra overall, though. Might keep it for just at home.
This is a nice, lacy, nude bra. I think I'm too narrow (front view) for this to look good on me. The cups appear too far apart making me look wider than I am. I do like the 4 hooks, but they're a bit difficult to hook together (I've only ever worked with 2 hooks). Slightly cuts into my breasts, not because the cup is too small, but because my breasts are too full on too for this bra.
It fits really well. However, after a couple hours of wear, the band starts to really dig into my sides. After a couple more hours, I can barely stand it. I've added an extender, but that doesn't really seem to help. I think it may be the material itself is irritating my skin.
This bra is very comfortable. Not sure how much it minimizes because I wore it under a vertical stripe dress, and anything where under that emphasizes the roundness of my breasts. But it offers good support, full coverage. Excellent for an everyday bra.
The wires seem to be a good width, but they end up riding an inch too low and hurting my ribs. The bottom of the cup folds. Maybe It is too shallow. I am still working on this. It does look smooth under clothes and the top does not gape so long as I keep my shoulders back.
A very sexy bra that unfortunately is too narrow in the cup for me. OK to wear for an evening, but not for the whole day. Which is a pity, as it gives a very nice lift. Fabric is a bit scratchy.
Nice basic smooth cup bra with a cute frill of lace around it, and I love the black cherry color. Chantelle bras seem to run long in the band, so I am starting off wearing this on the second hook and considering alterations. As with other Chantelle bras, a good fit for shallow breasts.
First off, the band is a bit stretchy on this bra, as it easily reaches 31''. However I don't find it to be an issue as my breasts are pretty well self-supporting. The lace at the top of the cups is visible under some of my t-shirts, but largely it's not bothersome. I adore the deep burgundy wine color, and the black detail stitching on the straps is a lovely detail.
Love this bra. Its lace and comes in several colors (Navy, Black, and nude) I own the navy. Its thin and light, with a soft cup but provides a good amount of support despite this. The material is soft and comfortable to the touch as well and feels great.
Nice bra, lacy but undetectable underneath clothes. Cups don't loose shape, but form to your boobs. Not a ton of color choices, but they do have a new color each season.
I had wrinkling on the top, either because the cup was too big or because I have shallow breasts and he plunge wasn't the best fit for me. Even though it stretched out, the band felt a bit tight, and the wire poked into my underbust so I ended up returning it.
This bra is wonderful! Currently my favorite of all the ones I own. I had the band altered though (shortened by two, three inches), so this may not be the standard experience. They didn't have the 28 band like I needed, so I sister sized up and they altered the band back down.
I've only had the bra for a few days, so there's no way to know yet what it'll be like as it stretches. However, I do have a lot of positive feedback; the underwire completely encloses all the breast tissue, and lays right against my root - which is lovely, since none of my other bras quite fit like that. The gore comes up nice and high, which is surprisingly a good thing. No strange pokes or chafing, and I don't feel like I have to keep adjusting it at my armpits. So far, I don't think it has any cons! I'll update this after I've owned it longer.
Regardless, it's a beautiful bra. It's simple and elegant and lacy all at the same time.
I love Rive Gauche but this one is too small in the band and to large in the cups. going to give it to a friend. Got it from a Bratabase user on a bra transfer.
Picked this bra up on ebay. I love the scalloped detailing on the cups. The band on this bra was firm when I bought it, but did not stretch out quickly.
This was the bra a fitter at Nordstrom used to determine my cup size. She said it's one of their "fit bras" and to.d me it fit me beautifully. Since I have never found a great-fitting non-padded, seamed bra, I bought this one right out of the fitting room. I would say that it's a 90% perfect fit. The wires ate the right length, the straps ate well-placed and adjust to a great length. And the straps are actually made of a soft, ribbon-lime, but almost ribbed material, which means that that they stay firmly in place once adjusted. The fabric is lovely for a simple, nude bra. It's pretty and almost lacey but not at all scratchy. I also love the detail on the center gore. It's a nice bra to wear under non-fitted shirts, tank tops, etc. for a minimal look. I wear it under some shirts that would look too tight or bulky with a moulded or padded bra underneath.
This bra is my go-to bra for comfort. I usually wear a 28 band, but this 30 band is small enough to stay put even on the loosest hook. The straps are not too wide and can be adjusted well for someone with a shorter torso than mine. I love the round shape it has, and I have yet to find a bra that shapes my breasts better than this one. I have no quadboobing, I fill the cups, and the gore sits flat. The only minor issue I have is that the wires are too wide for my narrow root, and that the material is a bit itchy for my sensitive skin if I rub against it too much. But I wear it as an everyday bra and it works great!
The size seems right, but this bra is not supportive on me. The line of the cups is almost horizontal on me, where it is more diagonal in the photos and on the empty bra. My boobs seem to push the cups out. Maybe the straps need to be tighter, but I can't wear my straps that tight because it hurts my shoulders. The center gore is very low and doesn't sit flat on my chest, which is unusual because my boobs are quite separate. I think the cups are just too low and the band too narrow to provide support for me.
The bra is quite lovely, although one issue I have is that the wing material is more pink than the cups, meaning that it doesn't match my skin tone as well. As a result, they are sometimes visible through white shirts. The underwires also tend to creak.
This is a 32E in UK sizing, although I believe that the cup runs large. The band is quite stretchy (and stretched out at this point). I think it would be better suited for someone requiring a 32F in UK sizing.
*note: the unstretched measurement for the band was taken after I had worn this bra many times and it had been stretched out
