I was so sad this bra didn't fit! The cups are just a little too small; they cut into tissue at both the top and the sides, near my arms. The center gore didn't hurt at all though, and the band felt good. It would have been comfortable if it were the right size. The fabric is really silky and smooth, and the lace at the top didn't itch.
This is my best fitting bra! The lace at the top doesn't cut in, nor does it gape. The center gore hurt a little the first couple times I wore it, but now it's super comfortable; I hardly notice I'm even wearing it! The only thing I'm not in love with is how the lace doesn't lie flat- I'd heard that this would be the case, though, and it's not a big enough issue to affect ho much I love this bra!
I'm a big fan of the style of the Juna. Unfortunately, I'm in a strange place right now where a 28G leaves a bit of space under the lace for my smaller breast, but 28FF is tight enough to create a quadboob for the larger breast. I think the 28G is the best fit, however-- the lace on this bra is a bit weird, as has been pointed out to me by other braficcionados. It's a bit excessive-- if your boobs are COMPLETELY filling out the lace at rest, it seems like the bra is actually a bit too small, because it hides a minor amount of quadboobing ...underneath the lace. So, the lesson I have learned is don't pay as close of attention to the lace on this bra as you do to the actual fabric of the bra itself.
So, that said, first, I love the fabric of this bra. It is very smooth and soft, feels great against the skin. I like the slightly padded cups as well. It is very comfortable, and also provides a bit more shape without the sometimes breastplate feeling of the Freya Deco (a bra that I also love). The shape of this bra is a pleasing one--rounded, without hypercleavage, but enough of a soft, round mound on top. I think it looks great under a t-shirt. The only improvement that I would ask of an every day bra like this one would be if the bra held the boobs just a little more 'up front', but I like a pretty up front look overall.
The band of this bra is appropriately snug, however, I also own the Cleo Ellie (Juno in a great watercolor blue color) and have worn it for quite a while, and find that the band does stretch out after a while. That said, it could use slightly firmer elastic that wears better with time.
This really is my go-to bra, and I feel confidant in saying that about this new Juna because of my experiences with the Ellie and the Darcie. Also, with my improved scoop-and-swoop technique, I find the bras fit better in 28G than they did a while ago, so that's always a good thing https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 267 more words
Adorable! So far I have only tried it on, not worn it for several hours yet. But the cup shape seems well-suited to my shape, and the design is super cute. On the left cup, the decorative fabric over the actual cup is slightly wrinkled, but that's a manufacturing thing, not a fit issue. I'll update with any changes after I've worn it for a day!
I measure myself at a 30F but from what I read in reviews about it on Nordstrom's website, I decided to go up a cup size. The cups lay flat if I keep my shoulders just slightly further back than is comfortable for me to maintain as normal posture, but as soon as they move forward at all, cavernous spaces open up on the sides :[ and because the cups are so wide they rub a bit on the sides. No good for me, unfortunately. The center gore is also too high for me and rubs, although the one on my Zia is the same height and doesn't poke so badly.
I'm pretty much at the start of my properly-fitting-bra saga, so I'm still working things out.
I've only had it for a few days but so far it seems pretty good, despite the gore being a bit too high, and even then it isn't causing any actual discomfort - I can just notice it sometimes if I shift in a weird way. I bought it online at Nordstrom on sale, and they were out of my size so I went a band size up. If I use the smallest set of hooks the band fits just fine and doesn't slide up while I wear it.
My left breast ...is larger than my right one and top heavy whereas the right is fuller on the bottom, so I'm typically prone to quad-boobing (or I guess it's tri-boobing in my case), but it only happens in this bra if I bring my shoulders back further than I do when standing normally, so I think I'm okay with it. If I went up another cup size my right boob would be drowning in it. And if I hunch my shoulders forward there's a bit of a gap on the outside of the cup, more noticeable on the right of course. Since I don't walk around like that typically I don't think I need to worry about that (but correct me if I'm mistaken!)
This is my first bra that doesn't have a molded cup, so I don't know if this is how they all are, but I really like that on the outside edge of the cup, the fabric continues up maybe half an inch further than the wire does - I feel like it holds me in, but having the wire extend that high would definitely be uncomfortable.
I don't know if it's going to stretch out/how it will wear with time since I've only had it a few days, but I'll come back and edit it all in if it's necessary. Overall I'm a fan :]
The underwires are too small (short? narrowly spaced?) for my breasts; they definitely cut into my side breast tissue. Gore/fabric panel lies beautifully flat.
The cups are nonpadded lace. No amount of swooping and scooping could get my breasts to fit properly in them. Major wrinkling along the top of the cup just under the lace edging, and more wrinkling (like gathers/ruching) along the bottom of the cup, and the aforementioned cutting into of breast tissue. I've noticed recently (after getting a bra in 32C and another in 30D), that a 32C padded bra is a borderline fit, but a 32C nonpadded is a no-no - I need a 32D (at least) for nonpadded styles.
I haven't worn it out of the apartment yet and will update this review when I do, but so far I LOVE this bra. Love the look, both color and shape, very comfy (on first try at least), good projection, etc. Update ASAP!
I really liked this bra when I first got it, but I think my breast tissue migrated and it didn't fit well after just one wearing. The color is a nice bright pink and all the embroidery will definitely show under most clothes.
I loved the lift and shape this bra gave me, but the band only having 2 hooks instead of 3 made it feel less secure.
See... I should have read the previous reviews before ordering the 28E on this one. It definitely runs small - evident quad-boob effect. The bra itself seems quite comfortable if it were the right size for me. As it is, the 28E doesn't enclose my breasts as it should, whith the wires being too short on the sides (breast spillage in the under arm) and the cups digging into the breast tissue on the top. Quite sad... I ordered the short along with the bra - it's lovely and it fits wonderfully (the short, that is). I ordered it online from the UK and I am in Portugal, otherwise I would return it for the 28F, which would probably fit me much better. Other than that, it's a nice looking bra, with the magenta brightning up an otherwise "regular" black bra. The fabric is quite nice too, soft, although not as soft as the very nice microfibre on the Cleo Juna, which, by the way, I own in 28E/nude and fits great.
This bra fits almost perfectly, except that the lace edge at the top is too tight. It just barely cuts in and pushes down, causing a slight fold over the seam where the lace meets the bottom of the cup. The flaws can't be seen under clothes.
I was in terrible pain when I took off this bra after wearing it for a whole day. I think that the band runs small in this color (white). The gore, wires and straps irritated my skin, and the wires were stretched so that empty space appeared on the outside of the cups. The cups are slightly too deep, but the top edge is also too tight so there is quite a bit of wrinkling. I have almost no padding on my ribcage, so I would go up a band size and down a cup size if I were to try this style and color again. I love the look of the pure white lace.
This bra *almost* fits. There's a little bit of overspill at the top and at the sides but I'm not sure there's enough extra tissue to go up a cup without losing support in a too deep cup.
Like all Juna's I've tried the interior fabric is very comfortable and the exterior fabric is nice and smooth.
The wires are a good width for me and the cup allows for a very similar depth through the cup with no tapering or apex to speak of, which is what works best for me. The support is excellent and the shape is nice too.
With a wider band and more subtle colours I'd like this bra even more but I'll sure I'll keep buying them anyway as this is the only cut I've found so far that really works for me.
All I have to say is "wow, no" https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I mean this bra? Was so close and yet SO FAR. I pretty much tried the Cleo Jude for shits and giggles because I've seen at least one review where they stated that lol the Jude rarely works for anyone. But I'm like, it doesn't hurt to try, am I right? So. Scooting this bra on, the first thing I noticed is the way the tops of the bra cups cut in to the boobs. And this is before I scooped and swooped, even. Doing that led to the quadboobilicious effect you'll see in ...my photo. But? How is it that while the top of this bra is cutting into me, the bottoms of the cups are all sorts of wrinkling? I can only conclude that nope, these molded cups DO NOT work with the shape of my boobies. Which is a shame, because you know what works? The underwires go all the way up my sides, in such a matter that it reigns in my sideboobal areas without causing me discomfort. So I have to ask WHY. Why have the top of the cups cut in like that? If it wasn't for that, I'm pretty sure I could wrangle my breasts into this. I even started thinking "Well WHAT IF I removed the part of the bra that cut into my boobs? Would shit then be awesome??" Of course, this makes me curious. Are there Cleo bras that have the awesome sideboob containing abilities WITHOUT the awful tightening that occurs at the top of the breasts?? Because THAT would be the bra for me and my wide ass set boobs. Just saying. To make matters worse, this bra is actually somewhat comfortable, but what with the wonky shape, just. No. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 201 more words
I am surprised at how well this one fits! I fairly guessed at my size, so yay!
This bra is borderline too separate for my boobs. I say borderline because everything is fairly comfortable, but I get a weird feeling when I put my arms forward that my boobs are in the way of my upper arms. Strange.
No quadraboob (yay!) and the wires enclose everything well. I do get a tiny amount of emptiness in the bottom of the cups, but it isn't too bad. Good lift and shape. Quite a bit more projection than I thought I'd get!
I think I like my Ewa bras a bit better, but ...I could see this being a good everyday bra. The only thing I would really change is having three clasps instead of two.
-ETA- After wearing this a few times, I don't think this is the bra for me. I need a bra with soft elastic under the center gore. With all the Panache bras I've tried, there is a stiff almost sharp piece of fabric that lines the bottom front of their bras and this cuts in to me pretty badly. I know the band itself isn't too tight. It is probably because I have acquired a bit of fat in this region right below the center gore where anything stiff just feels so uncomfortable. Definitely sticking with my comfortable Ewa bras!
-ETA 2- This bra fits in theory, but in practice... Well for some odd reason it keeps slipping down my ribcage so I end up with a bit of emptiness in the bottom of the cups. The bottom of the bra has gotten a lot comfier after a few washes, so this is only the second time I have had the courage to wear it. I don't think Cleo is the brand for me. Read more 195 more words
Cleo Meg and I are *NOT* friends. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> This is my second try with a slight size adjustment.
I first tried my go-to size, 36J, and was able to make it wearable with some serious wire bending to get the gore to lay flat and wearing a bra liner under the front band, where the elastic was curling under and digging in. The cups, however, had gaping at the top edge and, more bothersome, there was puckering along all of the cup seams that was very visible under a thin knit shirt or even a thick T-shirt.
I like ...the design. Pretty bra. The print is pretty and I LOVE the tiny charm on the center gore. VERY supportive. So, I decided to give the 36HH a go to see if a smaller cup would fix the few problems I had. And did it? Yes and no.
The gore lays flat - right out of the box! First bra that has done that for me - EVER. And the wires are close to the right spot under the arms. They don't poke, but they might be a smidgeon too far back (wide). I think the cups are 8" wide and 7.5" seems to be perfect for me.
The band fits perfectly snug on the loosest hook. The straps, well, I'd prefer them wider and cushioned. A true comfort strap would be nice. The width of the elastic straps (0.75") and the scalloped edges on them (and elsewhere on the bra) really bothers my sensitive skin. Also, only 2 hooks on the band. Seems to work with 2 hooks, but I'd feel better with wider straps and 3 hooks and I think it would be more comfortable.
The cups do NOT fit. There is slight quad boobing even on the smaller breast and it's making some bizarre thing happen along the top of my larger boob. I tried to get a close-up of it, but it's hard to photograph. Quite obvious in person, though, and weird. Makes the breast look misshapen.
And that pesky puckering? Yeah, still there. Still very visible under a T-shirt. A visible seam I can live with (barely), but a puckered seam? No. I think the seam has no stretch while the mesh has a tiny bit. This equals a pucker all along the seam.
Too bad, because I really like this bra. I don't want to let it go. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> Read more 341 more words
I just love the design. Birds, feather prints – something for me. The band is really tight (as other Cleos) and the cups are ridiculously small. It formed my breasts front, gave nice uplift. I think it could work with bigger band and bigger cups. If you are fan of green shape, it could be for you https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Another issue – really thin fastening with two hooks. I'm looking for wide band. The material is a little bit stiff, but nice. Now I know that I need 34F in Cleo and I'm glad because I have my Marcie <3 So thank you, Meg.
First of all, this is a very pretty bra. It's a gorgeous cherry red.
The Marcie gives a really nice rounded shape that looks great under a t-shirt. The lace wrinkled a tiny bit on the top for me because I have a full on bottom shape, but it didn't show under a t-shirt. The band is very snug on this bra. It fit me fine but others might need a bra extender. The mesh fabric is soft but sturdy and very comfy.
The only problem is that the underwires are just too short under my arm. My armpit chub spills over the sides and the underwire sort of digs in. I really want to love this bra but the armpit poking is annoying--this won't be a keeper.
