I've been wearing 32C bras for the past few years (after getting fitted down from a 34B), but after reading up on bra fitting I realized that my cups are still too small and my band is too big. Juna is the first bra I have tried in my new round of bra shopping.
First I tried going down a band and up a cup size. 30 bands are clearly the right size on me (29" under bust) but a 30D was incredibly tiny on me, quadboob everywhere and my armpits got filled up with breast tissue too. Because of how small it was, ...I sized up two cup sizes from there, and tried a 30E. With the underwires finally sitting properly, the band of this bra is loose for a 30 and actually fits more like the bands on my 32" bras--I can wear it comfortably on the tightest hooks right out of the bag. I'd suggest sizing down. The underwires were definitely wide enough for my breasts and the cups had the right amount of projection for my breasts. My slightly larger breast fit absolutely perfectly, no complaints at all, while my slightly smaller breast had a bit of space at the top when I slouch, but because of the open shape and the padding it didn't have any wrinkling.
Why this bra isn't for me: Three things: The center gore is too high and too wide for my breasts and the top of it was actually sitting on and cutting into breast tissue. I'm at my heaviest weight right now, so when I swing back down to normal the cups will be too large. And finally, this bra shows unattractively under shirts--the center seam is clearly visible and there are bumpy seams where the arm bands meet the cups. Read more 207 more words
I love the CLEO Lucy! It gives a fantastic shape & looks really beautiful. The lace on the top is soft, but fits perfectly for my shape. The band is snug, but comfortable. I have the Lucy in both pink & blue & I wish I had it in several more colors!
There is no way this bra is a 28 band - more like a 26. That's awesome for me, since I measure 25.5" underbust right now - maybe not for others though. I can't tell if this bra fits or not, tbh. It fits wonderfully - unscooped. I can't really dig my hand into the bra in order to scoop and swoop, since the top lacing has a tight band on its upper edge. If I do scoop, it super quadboobs, but the lace gets all messed up. If I move the lace it quadboobs less. I don't know if I should stay at 28G or move up to 28GG :/ Another thing I've noticed is the wires are a bit.. creaky.
I want to like this bra so much :/ The straps don't adjust short enough for my torso, so they're constantly falling off. My boobs sit really high on my chest, and so the bra doesn't sit high enough either - and the bra tends to gap at the top. If I pull the straps up manually, the bra fits much better. The lace tends to not sit flat at the top either. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
A pretty white plunge that is really really lightweight and... noisy. The bra makes foamy/crinkly noises when stretched in any way, quite interestingly. Aside from that it looks like it may fit full on top breasts better as the tops/top corners can gape if your breasts are full on bottom. That was my issue with this bra as well, as well as the band being too big for me. It is however a really comfortable and pretty bra and it doesn't appear to show too much through tops (though I assume it would show greatly through thin fabric). There seems to be another review here with pictures of the bra worn: http://balkonetka.pl/katalog/bra/panache-cleo-beau-6 .
Unfortunately this bra seems incompatible with my body. I can't fill the bottom of the cups, and because of this my breasts seem to push the whole bra down (probably because the cups are too shallow at the bottom) so the wires sit about an inch lower than they should, which of course is really uncomfortable. The band is not too loose, I'm positive that's not the issue.
I've tried both the Nude and Plum in 30G: The gore on the Nude touched my sternum, but the gore on the Plum did not touch my sternum. Not sure if this is a slight sizing variation between colors or ...what, it's hard to tell as I didn't have access to both bras at once (I tried them about 2 weeks apart from each other).
"If" this bra had worked out, 30G would have been the correct size. The cups are technically the right size, but the wrong shape; they're too shallow for me, causing the "orange in a glass" effect. I very badly wanted this to work, but unfortunately I've had to give up on the Jude. Read more 77 more words
Can't wear this bra more than once a week or it cuts into my underarm flesh to the point of wearing off the top layer of skin, not pleasant. Think the wires might be too narrow for me but the fact that the wires are so low is the main issue as far as I can tell.
Apart from the cups not fitting it gives a nice shape and the material is comfortable/not scratchy.
I got this in 28FF in yellow. The colour is a bright, sunny yellow; I love it. The band is tight, I think it suits better for a 26" ribcage. After swooping and scooping, I have some quadboobs going on. I altered the centre gore so that it fits better and it did, a little. I would definitely get a bigger cup size the next time I'm buying it.
Since this bra is a bit small on me, the appearance it gives underneath clothes is 'okay'. It is smooth, but the shape is not quite what I had hoped. It would probably look better if I have it in the right size. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Band a bit too tight, seemed to fit fine at first. After wearing it for a short time body of bra started sliding down so experienced a quad boob effect, even though the band was very tight and the top of the cups (lace) was cutting into my breasts.
Overall not a comfortable fit or bra. I'm not sure why someone would want this much padding in a cup.
Confusing because I have a Lucy in Black in 28G that fits great.
Lucy is not a very comfortable bra though. I find the lace very scratchy.
The cups seem slightly too big on this at first (even after swooping and scooping) but throughout the day seem to be cutting into the top of my breast tissue and leaving a quad boob effect. Not keeping this one.
Seemed to fit ok, but quite a bit of padding and makes my bust look even larger than normal. After wearing it for a few hours, the center gore was poking my sternum very badly and also experienced some quad boob effect because of the lace detailing at the top of the cups which seems to cut in further than the top of the cup.
This is a nice bra. I feel the cups are on the verge of being too separate for me. Also, the cups are a bit too small for me. The fabric is lovely and comfortable though!
I also think the band is a bit too long for me and I really need more than just two hooks at the back for more band stability. The band just keeps riding up in the back.
I read reviews before buying and they all said to go up a cup so I went one cup size up but the cups were still too small. The top of the cup was too tight. The band was also really loose. This one is definitely getting returned. I think this bra would not work out on people with wide roots .
This bra is really soft, and gives a nice round shape. I have very short torso and usually have to alter straps, and find wires poking into sternum, but both wires and strap length were ok on this bra. Band seemed firm enough, but I need to size up in cups - escaping a bit on the sides. The lace along top of cup is not flush with fabric of cups and was folding outwards on me. It was visible under knitwear. I am returning this, and not sure yet if I'll reorder in F because of the lace.
I have very slight wrinkling near the nipples in this bra, and then quadboobing at the top and my armpit fat is all over the place. Going up to a 28E gives me too much wrinkling.
Too deep for my shallow breasts.
Band is comfortable and doesn't seem to stretch much.
Great lift, felt very supported by the band. Straps aren't too wide, very stable band. Gives a nice forward facing appearance. True to size, band isn't overly stretchy.
Although the bottom of the cups fit me perfect, the top of the cup has way too much extra space. I think the shape is just not right for my breast type. I also don't like how limited the strap length adjustment is.
