So sad this didn't fit! If I had this in a 30GG it would be perfect. But, gaping in the cups, definitely need a cup down. Very comfortable bra for me otherwise. Nice soft fabric, stretchy adjustable straps, quite stretchy band (would be a little worried it would stretch out too easily over time though), cute design. I need my gore a little higher for it to not dig in to my sternum, but this could likely be solved by bending the wires out a bit. Gives a great rounded shape even in the wrong cup size. Nice and high under the arm for my re-migrating breast tissue. Unfortunately, ...there seem to be no more 30GGs to be had. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Edit: I need this on the 2nd hooks straight away, perhaps even 3rd, so this bra's (brand's?) band does run big. I've decided to keep it though because it works with inserts and the sale price isn't work the return shipping costs. Not perfect - I think I'd actually need a 28GG/H for that - but I can make it work. Read more 77 more words
I just got this bra through eBay. The width of the cups seems right and the band fits snugly. This is a "moulded t-shirt bra" and would work well for that, however, the way it is molded does not conform to my boobs' (actual or desired) shape, and cuts into the top. I think I would prefer something with a less molded or more open shape on top. I feel like I can't quite fill the cup, but the top cuts in.
This bra is comfortable. I also like the wire width. I don't think it's perfect but it fits somewhat well. I wish I could get this in a smaller band, but the band didn't ride up in the back.
I don't understand the fit of this bra. I heard the band ran small so I ordered my sister size 36E when I usually wear 34F. The band fit comfortably on the loosest hook. The bottom 2/3's of the cup fits great but the lace on the top 1/3 seems like it was transplanted from a larger cup. The top of the cup is baggy for lack of a better term. It could be easily fixed with a tuck and a few stitches. However, the wire is weird too. It's like someone chopped off 1/2 inch of the wire before sewing ...it in. It moves around and leaves a gap either at the gore or the outer edge of the cup. The shape I get (if I ignore the problems) is awesome! Uplifted and perfectly rounded. The color is a bright beautiful red. The bottom of the cup is two pieces of polka dotted red on red mesh. The top 1/3 of the cup is an absolutely beautiful soft lace with bow, scallop and crosshatch embroidery detail. The center gore sports a cute navy satin bow with a tiny red button. The straps are fully adjustable elastic with crochet detail, but they are the thinnest straps I've seen on a bra in this size range. The sides are red power mesh cut into a leotard back. In wish the sides were a bit wider as I've got a bit of side boob escape. Pending a fit request I may or may not keep this bra as I paid full price for it. I bought the adorable matching briefs too & they fit great so it would be a shame if I didn't keep the set. Read more 196 more words
Hello, I've got Cleo Marcie in 34F. The band is little too tight (I'm using extender), so I'm considering buy 36E. How was the band? Compared to other bras?
The 36E band fit like my other panache 34F bands. I'd trade you if yours is brand new. I've only worn mine for review pics and then a few hours.
I'm using it, because I need bra. It's great fit but it feel a little bit tight. I've got a problem with band, because when I find bra with cups that fit I'm between sizes in bands... Do you think 34F will work better for you?
Yes. Every time I've sister sized to a 36E in bras that are cut the same as other 34F's I own I feel like it fits funny. The cups don't feel quite as supportive.
hmm.. not sure why it says this did not fit. Other than it runs a bit tight in the band and thus I said I can do it up..but feels a bit tight. I have a bra extender on it- now..hope to stretch it a bit. As its a great bra.
I love the fit. gives a beautifully rounded(but not fake) shape. the wings on the side on me could do to be a little higher. But that and the tightness of the band are the only things I'd change if had a choice. I wasn't sure if I was keen on the big embroidered bows at the top of the cup.. but I like the fit so much, I overlook it.. and they actually look better in reality.
I am really happy with this bra. It is so supportive and gives a great uplift and shape. The bra is really firm though, as the material is firm and strong and doesn't stretch much. I was a little worried it was too tight but I think it will be fine. And it is probably because the body is so firm that it is so supportive and gives such a good shape.
According to bratabase zia is the same as marcie. They do seem to fit me very similarly and I like them both, but I think zia fits me a bit better. The wires fit perfectly too, although it is very high under the arms but not too high.
The incredibly low center gore was great for me, because I have a very poke-y (it pokes and is poked in return) sternum. (I have pectus carinatum.) The band is snug for a 30, which suits me just fine, since 28-bands seem to fit me better anyway. Still, I have a rather bony ribcage, and the wires often rub against it uncomfortably. I bought this bra at pretty steep discount, so I ended up with the purple leopard print cups and hot pink straps. That's a little louder than I'd like, but I wear pretty thick shirts, so it doesn't matter much.
I tend not to wear this bra as I don't find it supportive. The cups are a bit small, but the bigger problem is that the back is too loose. Also I find the wires too wide (and I don't normally have a problem with this)
I really love this bra. When I first put it on the cup does seem a bit small and I fall out a bit, but during the day I seem to settle into it and it ends up fitting really well. Although the bow doesn't really sit flat, as I think my breasts are so close together that they push the bow askew. The back fits perfect, as do the wires. And it is really pretty.
This bra didn't work with my shape. If you have a shallow cup, the band doesn't offer as much support as the Panache Tango, for instance . The band runs large. Too bad as the bra is really cute!
The new Navy/Pink version is even better than the old colors. It now has more space in the top edge (a little more space than the white in the sister size 28HH, and TONS more space than the coral in the same sister size 28HH). So I don't need to alter the center gore in the navy to make it fit.
Overall, I really love this bra, although I had to make some modifications to get there. I'm a 28, but since this doesn't come in 28JJ or K, I had to make do with a 30J (like pretty much everyone, I sized down on this bra, as the cups run large). So I've had to have the band taken in, but that's pretty par for the course for me. The other big thing is that the straps are too long and stretched quickly into being way too long. I had them taken in, but they didn't take in enough so I will have to ...have them taken in further. Something that I really don't like about this bra is that the adjuster tightens by moving away from the solid part of the band, so you can't cheat and push it up past the elastic, and most of the band is the solid, non-adjustable part. Anyway, /endrant. With the back in and with the straps short enough (I have been using a bra barrette, but it's uncomfortable), the bra is great.
The shape is gorgeous. I really like a round, projected, out-front look, and this delivers. It's not a plunge, but it has low enough coverage that I can wear it with most necklines, and I have gotten compliments from my lady friends about how it looks under several outfits. The wires are somewhat wider than I would like, but more narrow than most I've seen, so that is nice. I still get some poking, unfortunately. The quality seems very high, and I have worn it quite a few times now without any sign of wear on the bra itself. I could use a little more padding on the wires, but I'm not getting any significant discomfort.
I really wish they would make this bra in some basic colors (nude, black, white), as the color and print make it a limited wear bra for me, which is unfortunate, as the shape is great.
Conclusion: adjustments and all aside, I would definitely recommend this bra.
Not sure what's wrong with the fit of this bra, but it just doesn't work for my shape. Incredibly pretty and quasi-comfortable (given the quad boob). Lightly padded. Band is firm, as with most Panache/Cleo bras.
Band 30 it's too tight for my 73cm ribcage. The centre gore is soooo wide, I had to make it narrow stright away - bra is much more comfortable now around this part. By taking the gore in, the band got even tighter but I'm going to get extender. Band has only 2 hooks but is quite wide, wider the other Cleo Bras (Alexa or Natasha. Straps are wider too. IMO Lucy is very more Panache Superbra style then Cleo - it covers more and I feel the same when wearing Panache's Eliza - lovely round shape, not so high like in Alexa but still good lift. As usual I'm not the fan of Cleo's looks but the construction is great.
Edit after wearing it for a bit - Ive got the same problem like with Eliza - the wire is poking under lest armpit - it's just too long.
Maybe I should have selected that the band is too big, but it fits perfect on the tightest hook. It hasn't stretched out yet, but once it does it will definitely be too big in the band for me. I really like the support I get from the sides. My chest/shoulders are fairly narrow so I like that the side support keeps my boobs more centered on my chest versus letting them splay out towards my arms.
