This bra is a beautiful pinkish coral shade with adorable contrasting purple hooks in the back and a little bow in the center. Soft, moulded cups with pink leopard mesh overlay on the outside. Leopard mesh from the wings to the hooks. Band is TTS. Very low gore, as you would expect with a plunge. Tacks perfectly. Beautiful, upfront and rounded shape. Hooks are 2 hooks x. 3 rows. Accommodates my very close-set boobs w/center fullness quite nicely.

Only downside is this is at least one if not 2 cups too small for me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> if I don't fully ... scoop and swoop I can make it work as long as I'm not too active. I do have to stop and scoop of my boobs back in rather often, but I will keep for now. It is awfully sexy & supportive.

The Koko Mode bra also is slightly larger than the 30H Cleo Koko Flirty Plunge T-shirt Bra (7936) & 30 H Cleo Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7201) . Both were absolutely WAY too small. (No measurements - I sent them back before I started listing bras in this community. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I'm so glad that you posted a Koko Mode review :)

I have been thinking about getting the Koko Mode and the Koko Flirty. I love the Neve Strapless and the Koko Icon so I figured that the plunge versions of the Neve and Koko might be worth a shot.

A lot of people have been saying that the Neve and Koko run small in both the band and the cup, so this is good to know.

    • Saskia_C Glad it helped! I'd say that the band was pretty firm, but ok for a 30. I agree the cups on the other two do run a bit small, too. Usually I can fudge down a cup size (I run 30HH-J or 28JJ in Cleo & Panache) but I couldn't do that with the Maddie & Koko Flirty. Good luck!

I only added this to the website so I could measure it and add more data, but it didn't fit my friend so I ended up returning it anyway.

The quality and design is as usual, excellent, and what I expect from the brand. I can't say for the comfort as I didn't try this on, but the other Lyzy Vibe styles I tried in my size range were not comfortable. This didn't fit my friend, who's closer to a 28D, but a 30E was all I could find.

A small update: It fit my friend in the band, it was comfortable for her, but the cups were much too big. I suspect she has more of a projected shape, but is still a 28C/D so this cup was too wide and too large for her.

It's hard to make a beige T-Shirt bra cute. But Cleo managed to surprise me. They somehow made a grandma like bra design into something actually adorable. With the stripes, lace trim and button at the center gore, I would not be embarrassed to be caught in this bra.

What part of this doesn’t fit? The band?

    • The straps are too wide and the gore won't sit flat, if it did, I'd be quadding.

The wires seemed short when I was looking at it, so I thought this bra would be too narrow for me. But it feels! I guess I have really narrow roots (no breast tissue in armpits) so I think the wire placement would be very uncomfortable for someone with wider roots. I think that the lace forming a closed shape on top is great, prevents quadboob, but the lace's edge crosses my nipples which can be irritating. The straps are also fairly short. I may need a cup size up as the gore is a little bit on my larger breast and I feel like it is close to quadboob... but since the cups are pretty projected and work well for FOB, it fits well enough. Overall this is a beautiful bra that I'll definitely be wearing!

  5. Piper Longline Balconnet Bra (9351)

    30DD

    Didn't fit

I have been trying a lot more Freyas in 28E/28F and haven't really been exploring Cleo's fashion styles outside of the ones I reviewed last year. For some reason many of them have not appealed to me, however the Piper Longline, with her brilliant cobalt fabric, has been intriguing for a while. I finally decided to try this, and the size available was 30DD, my sister size.

The appearance of this bra is lovely, with gorgeous cobalt lace making up the entirety of the bra. The lace design is floral with arabesques on mesh. As Cleo likes to add a touch of pop color, the ... center gore bow is bright lime green, as are the hooks in the back. The cups are a 4 piece construction with the bottom made of 3 vertical panels and the upper a horizontal piece made of double layer mesh, while the bottom cups are mesh-backed lace. I have rarely seen this construction from Cleo, but more often from Panache-- it is a bit similar to Panache Oriane. The back of the band is solid powermesh throughout, and there are strips of boning on each side connecting the front panel to the back. The front also has two seams for decorative purposes that don't have boning.

Despite being a 30 band, it actually measures pretty small. This felt comfortable but not snug, and I liked that it didn't put extra pressure on my ribcage and feel constricting to breathe. It was relatively easy to hook on my own because the band wasn't super tight, which is always my concern with longlines. When I tried a Freya longline in 30DD, the band was incredibly huge, so I was a bit surprised to see that the band on this style fit. There are 5 sets of hooks on this style, set in two rows. I would always prefer three rows of hooks on longlines instead of two, so this is a minor negative.

The main problem for me is that the cups overall are just a bit too small. I think this runs slightly small, though probably not an entire half cup. Overall there was just enough fabric in the cups, since the lace has a bit of stretch, but the wires were too narrow and short. The wires on this style feel closer to a 30D though the cup volume was pretty true to a 30DD. The wires have an average amount of flex as they did not dig in and become painful. This might be good for someone who needs small wires and more projection, provided that you order a size up. Other than the wire mismatch, I think this would suit a balanced shape best as the top is rather closed off.

Piper is a nice longline that's easy to put on and unique to look at. Since the cup construction is a bit different from most other Cleo offerings I have tried, I'd recommend not blind-buying this and making sure you have a chance to try it on.

My shape is low set, narrow and short rooted, and soft.

I received this bra from Sonya for a good price because my boobs have been feeling deflated and smaller lately, so I thought I should try a smaller size. Well, apparantly, I'm not quite a 28F yet. My large side (L) is bulging over the top and sides. My smaller side is bulging too, but not as bad. The wings are too short and the cup is too small.

The band is fairly firm, and it looks like the wires are being stretched, but they are actually just shaped like that (kind of like a ... rounded check mark rather than a U). They may be stretching a tiny bit, but the band didn't feel too tight or anything, just firm. I don't find the band all that comfortable because it is firm and narrow... it felt a bit like it was cutting in and would get uncomfortable for long wear. I prefer a band around 28.5", sometimes even 29" for comfort because I don't like to feel the band squeezing. The straps adjusted long enough for my tall frame, but they are narrow and not all that comfortable either for some reason. The inner cups are lined with soft cotton.

The bra itself is cute (though the bows aren't quite my jam). It's a half cup with 3 vertical seams. Too bad it doesn't fit because I have a feeling it would have given a great shape if it had fit.

Overall it's average to good for comfort and quality, and it would probably make a real 28F'er happy because of the shape it would give.

  7. Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831)

    30DD

    Fits

Marcie was one of my best fitting bras when I was a 28DD/30D size, and I wore it all last summer. It was absolutely perfect for the hot weather! However, since my cup size gain, I decided to size up to the 28E. I had tried 28E once in the past when I was the smaller size since 28DD wasn't available, but it was way too big. Now, it fits me quite well, and even runs snug.

I ended up picking up two more discontinued colors via eBay, but unfortunately I waited too long on the Dusty Rose and the 28E was sold out, so I decided to try ... the sister size of 30DD. I was hesitant about the 30DD because I originally felt that the 30D Marcie wasn't super secure (when that was my size), which I attributed to the band. However, the 30DD feels pretty good, although the band is 4 cm/1.5" longer. I'm not sure why this works for me now, but I'm glad it does. It feels identical to the 28E for me, but obviously the band is not as tight. I think this is a good option for me when I don't want a bra band that's super snug for comfort reasons.

The cups measure identically between the 28E and 30DD, so this is a good example of where cups are not graded with the band (at least in this size range) and you can safely sister size without the cups changing proportions. Some of my Marcies are a little deeper in the cup than others, and this is one of the slightly deeper ones, but it basically fits the same.

The only thing I don't love about this bra is the color. The Dusty Rose is a deeper, rosier pink mauve than I had expected. I thought it would be a softer, lighter rose pink. I also don't understand the use of taupe grey trims and hardware, as it just looks weird. A nicer pop of color would've been pale lavender, sky blue, or soft buttercup. Given that I also didn't like the color combination of the Olive/Coral that I ordered at the same time, the same designer was probably responsible for both color choices.

Note that this is for the older version, with no printed text on the underwires.

If you're still trying to get your hands on Marcie before she's totally gone, give the sister sizes a try. The firm bands should work if you have to size up, and you can always add an extender if you need to go one size down.

    Pros:
-The length of the underwire worked really well for me. It didn't dig into my armpit despite how far back it is. I'm really surprised I actually like how wide this cup is on me. It makes me feel more secure. However, it does create a problem with the straps also being way too wide set for me. By a lot.
-The projection is great for my chest
-The gore height works really well for me which is odd because my Curvy Kate Daydreamer felt too high despite being shorter than this one.
-This band fits very comfortably even without an extender. I wore it all day without issue. I still balloon out ... as I do with all my bands because I got significant squish but it's not cutting off circulation.
-The bottom of this bra is very accommodating of my slightly FoB rounded chest
-Fabric is SO SOFT, it's really nice.
-Bottom cup comes up high enough to actually encase my nipples

    Cons:
-Cup runs big . It fits me quite well on bottom but on top I get a bit of gaping. When my breasts swell it fills out though so it'd be a great period bra.
-Very wide set for me. I think with a minor dart and narrowing the center underwire channels, this will fit better
-My breasts go in two different directions the cups are so wide set. The edges of my breasts are wider than my ribcage when facing straight on. While I do have splayed breasts, this exaggerates the problem
-While the projection is wonderful, it almost comes off pointy coupled with how far set these cups are
-Gaping at the top where the lace is. I'm relatively even in fullness but I can't fill the top of this cup. But it's not uncomfortable and DOES fit well around my larger breast (I'm slightly uneven)
-The cut of the cup leading under the armpit is a little low in my opinion. I need better side support with how I squish but it's not uncomfortable
-The straps are WAY too wide-set for me. If I don't pull them in toward my neck (which gives more pressure and harms the support the straps offer the cup) they fall off my shoulders. I never considered I had narrow shoulders, but I am small in stature. Like, the straps go partially UNDER my armpit, it's just that wide set.
-I feel that this cup doesn't support me as well as I'd like. I think that's less the fault of the cup and more a fault of the wideness of the underwire and the fact I can't get proper lift with the straps due to their placement. On models this strap placement seems less balconette and more standard but on me it's wider than even a balconette strap placement would be.
-The straps are REALLY hard to adjust. I mean it means they'll stay in place but you have to risk hurting your nails to get the buckle slider to even move along the straps.

    Fit Neutral/be aware:
-Short straps. They still work for me being only 5 ft tall but I think a taller person would struggle with the strap length.
-The separation of the breasts is quite extreme in this and coupled with the great projection..it can look odd under clothing. I dress very modestly with clothing that hangs off the body and if I didn't also wear a scarf covering my chest, my clothing would very prominently display the shape of my breasts in a way I would not enjoy. I can imagine for those who wear tighter clothing that could help push the breasts together more, this could look quite lovely.

My chest for reference: 28H is standard for me. I have settled borderline pendulous breasts with forward facing nipples. (When supported, my boob fat settles which can cause my upper breast to slightly deflate). Slightly FoB but relatively even in fullness. Slightly lower set breasts, wide roots (breat tissue starts under armpit). Splayed breasts slightly close set (nipped do not point in opposite directions, they are still front facing on my breasts due to the excess breast issue on the outer sides). High central and immediate projection when supported. Very squishy ribcage. Narrow shoulders. Barely 5'1" height.

This bra is by far the most comfortable I've tried in spite of the minor gore and strap issues. I plan to base more of my purchases based on the measurements of this bra given how comfortable it is in spite of the minor issues mentioned.

I love the fun print of this bra. There's a nice, thin layer of padding- not a boost, just enough to hide my nips and make it a decent t-shirt bra. The straps fall off my shoulders and the gore doesn't quite tack- This bra is the wrong shape/style for me. The band is very stretchy- I usually wear a 38 and this is a 36, I wear it on the tightest hook. It's still pretty comfortable though. The cups are a little shallow for me but gives me a bit of sexy cleavage.

This bra is incredibly cute and the design is so alluring, but it doesn't fit me and it's so frustrating.
They made the straps wider and the lace cuter and more sturdy, but the cup depth is much smaller than average wired bras in this size, in addition to a third vertical seam that makes it a 3-part cup.

DESIGN: The quality is as per usual from Panache excellent. No complaints there. Since receiving feedback on the Lyzy they widened the straps and added hooks so you can pull them together, if you have a short torso. The bralette is adorable, it looks so cute. The bright blue ... is very summery and there's a gold stripe through the band that's just such a nice touch. The lace pattern is more "tropical" in a sense - it's cuter. The band's material is both thicker and wider, and they added a square/rectangular piece of stretch mesh fabric next to the end of the cup. I like it, it makes the bra feel more sturdy, and it's a good improvement from the original Lyzy which has a triangular sloping fabric after the cups end.

FIT: Considering how comfy the original Cleo Lyzy was, the fact that I spill out of this feels like the end of the world. They added a third, vertical seam in the middle of the cup between the two other ones. This seam changes the shape and fit of the cup to mimic a 3-part wired cup more, which in theory is a clever move, but in reality doesn't work out. The Cleo Marcie is sort of famous for its 3-part cup design which gives that rounded and lifted look, and as a general rule, wired bras that have these seams and this style tend to fit me. So while the new seam was a clever idea, what ends up happening is that it lifts and pushes my boobs up and to the middle of the bralette. That makes me spill out, because the bralette doesn't have enough fabric/the right shape of fabric to hold the breasts in place in the middle.

EDIT AFTER MEASURING: it's not just the seam - the cup depth is much smaller than wired bras are on average in this size. It might not be the seam, but rather the immediate lack of depth. The cup depth of this one is 21cm, where a Cleo Marcie in 28FF is 25cm.

In the original Lyzy, the boobs droop a little compared to a wired bra because they rest in the bralette fabric like a hammock. In this Lyzy, I thought the shape was the only problem - but after measuring it turns out that the cup is indeed too small. I tried this in 28G as well and it was still too small, the cup depth increased by 2 cm but still wasn't enough for my boobs. If i shake my shoulders, my breasts fall out of the cups.

Considering the past few new bras I've tried haven't fit me (Freya Expression Plunge, Cleo Asher), it feels even more frustrating that this doesn't fit. Finally they make a bralette for bigger busts and when they change the design to be objectively cuter, it. doesn't. fit. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I can only hope they continue making the regular Cleo Lyzy, or consider making the cups bigger or changing the seams.
I'm wondering if I should send a mail to Panache and explain the difference between the two, or just leave a review on Brastop.

Thank you for such a great review. I tried this bralette in store and I must confess I hated it because there was no lift and my breasts felt droopy. I had no idea they had tweaked the design, I will have to try it again. Hopefully they will still make the older version which you like. I wonder if you have tried the a Cosabella Sweetie in the new hook and eye model? It definitely reminded me of this one when I tried it (breasts felt droopy like sitting on a hammock like you mention). I tried the pull-over model XS - Cosabella » Never Say Never Curvy Sweetie Soft Bra (NEVER1 and this one S - Cosabella » Never Say Never Curvy Sweetie Soft Bra (NEVER13 but the newer model with the adjustable band might be very similar to this one.

AllyBra Glad you enjoyed it! The design is ridiculously cute, but it didn't fit. It turns out after measuring that the cups are too small for me. The cup depth is smaller than average for these sizes, and so it doesn't fit.

braluv I definitely understand that! It's not a sexy bra in my opinion, it doesn't look as WOW as the majority of my other bras. I'd recommend you try the Vibe though because it doesn't seem like it has the same fit - however I can't confirm this since the two Vibe bralettes I ordered didn't fit because the cups were too small. In the right size it might be more hammock-y. Either way, I'd recommend you order it in a size above your usual one - if you wear 30F go for 30FF.

I haven't heard of Cosabella, but that bralette looks like it could fit me. S/M/L sizing rarely/never works for me though because my boobs are big compared to my ribcage, 28G doesn't usually fit into a S bralette and M rides up :P

    • 1

corvidsandtea Thank you for the info on the Vibe. I will keep the cup sizes in mind when I try it. :) The Cosabella bralettes have a Petite Curvy size that's supposed to fit 28-30 DD-F and the Extra Small Curvy size fits 30-32 DD-F, so not quite 28G size unfortunately. All of the styles with the "Curvy" in the name have these bigger cups.

Minnie is the first unlined printed fabric bra I've tried from Cleo, and I was surprised by how nicely it fit. While the print isn't my favorite, and the upper lace panel is a bit too deep for me, the actual fabric cups fit like they were made for me. This style definitely makes me want to explore more fabric bras from this line!

The band is a fantastic, secure band made from powerful stretch fabric, and sports an ultra-wide bottom elastic. This is a full band style, so the wide bottom elastic really helps the bra feel secure around your torso. The straps are ... equally supportive wide elastic with a slight texture, which helps the straps not slip once adjusted. This is probably the most well-engineered Cleo bra I've come across to date.

The cups are made from smooth, lightweight printed silky fabric lined with tricot, while the interior of the cups are lined with power mesh. This combo offers an extremely supportive yet lightweight feel that I love. The wires here are the same size and shape as Marcie (although the cup depth is a little shallower than Marcie), so they are perfect for me. The top panel is lace-topped mesh with no elastic binding. While this in theory would make the top fit like Marcie or Lucy, in reality the lace is very wide and stiff and has absolutely no give. The lace will not stretch to accommodate tall roots, a lot of fullness on top, or in my case, stretch horizontally to lay flush against the skin, causing an area of excess fabric. On Marcie, the upper cup is embroidered mesh, and thus has enough horizontal stretch on me to sit flat on the body.

However, the cups here are on the shallow side, so the bra almost borders on too small for me, and sizing down would not be an option. Having tried sizing up to 30DD in Lucy to resolve a similar issue with the upper lace panel not sitting right, I found this was actually exaggerated in a larger cup size, thus I don't think I will try 30DD in this style. So, I would say that this bra fits me perfectly except the slight shape mismatch and inflexible construction causing the upper panel to not sit flat. If the fullest part of your breast sits higher and is closer to the seam where the panels join, then I think this would work better for you (however still not suitable for tall roots or very FOT).

    ============

    28E update:

The bra is now definitely too small and also the wrong shape for me. I get the orange in a glass effect with the closed top cutting into my roots, and the cup width is too narrow. However, the shape is for more projection than I have. I considered trying this in a 28E but I’ve learned to stay away from closed top cups given my tall roots.

Note that this style superficially resembles Kayla, another unlined printed bra made from the same silky fabric. Kayla is a sister cut of Hettie, and both band and cups run half a size larger than most other Cleo styles. Kayla's cups are single layer, so they are softer and more lightweight, and the upper cup is made from much wider stretch lace rather than the rigid lace found here in Minnie. Kayla is suitable for projected FOT shapes and can accommodate tall roots, while Minnie is for even shapes with short roots and is slightly more projected than Marcie, so it may be suitable for conical shapes. The rigid upper cup limits upper fullness, while Marcie isa. bit more flexible.

    Fits

This bra is a conundrum. It looks like Minnie, it measures like Minnie, but it doesn't fit me like Minnie. I can't figure this out! Given my raves for the Minnie fit, which pretty much fit like a glove everywhere except the overly rigid lace upper cup, I expected that Ellis would fit the same, but there's something odd about this bra. While the cups do fit me perfectly, they are really uncomfortable. I feel like the rigid bottom cups, which are lined with powermesh, are pushing me up and in, and for some reason the wires also want to cross at the ... gore and dig into my sternum. Basically, it feels like wearing an uncomfortable push up bra, but this is just a normal unlined balconnette. I need to play around with the wires and hope that a minor adjustment will help improve the comfort factor, because this bra is so darn pretty.

It's so darn pretty that I ordered it blindly from a UK seller on eBay, so I can't return it. I simply crossed my fingers and hoped that it would fit, knowing that it is identical to Minnie. The one saving grace is that the upper cup, being embroidered tulle, actually fits me pretty well despite being on the tall side. It isn't too tall, like Bonnie, but is more like the George upper lace cup than the Minnie. I find that the embroidery on the upper cup is really interesting and unique as it uses three tones of thread to create dimensional open roses. The body fabric print is pretty as well, and there's just a simple two toned grosgrain bow at the gore. Nice wide straps and a full band with contrast dark pink picot edging make this bra girly AND functional. Love the styling, it's totally a Disney Princess or Barbie bra for adults. Sometimes you just want something princessy, you know?

Now, if I could only figure out the issue with the gore, tame these unruly wires, and get rid of this musty smell (seriously, how did this eBay seller store this bra?) . . .

Does anyone else have this issue with uncomfortable underwires at the gore in this bra? I rarely have gore issues because I am neither wide set nor close set, and everything usually tacks. Usually a gore issue on me is a surefire sign of a too tight band and/or unsupportive sides, but I don't think that's the case in this bra.

    =================

Update: Now that I measure 28E, the cups of this bra fit much better on me. I remember having some problems with the lace upper cup not being the right shape, but since the cups are now a size small, I can fill it out better. Unfortunately the 30 band is not ideal on me, and the gore is still quite uncomfortable unless settled in the right place.

This bra is too small for me, but without the straps it provides a nice lift and doesn't cut in or give much quadding. I am soo glad that I've found something that works for me under strapless tops and dresses! Of course this is a dark color so I won't be able to use it for everything. I'm okay with that though, because I think it's actually a really sexy, sleek design and color!
This bra definitely runs small in the band and I think most people might want to cup size down to get a nice cake-on-a-plate look. While it might be technically too small, it will give some crazy vavoom! I would pass on this bra if you are FoB, very firm, or very projected.

If you want a nude version of it, Cleo's Koko Icon Strapless bra is identical. It's actually the replacement, uses the same mold.

    • Good to know, thanks!

    • I am so glad you are now aboard the Neve/Koko Strapless train! It's possible you might like the 30DD better though.

    • I tried on the 30DD and 30E recently, and they were verryyyy wide. Since they are $70 on amazon, I decided the 30D was worth a shot when it showed up on /r/braswap.

This one is really too wide which flattens me out a little, but it's closer to what I need. Without the straps I can make it look good. If this basic shape came with more overall projection, I would be interested in that cut in a larger size. For now though, this bra is about as good as I expect in a not actually fitting strapless.

Although the size of this bra is 32:6, but it's the most perfect bra I have. The band fits me very comfortablely, and the lace decorations are very lovely, just like ice cream waffles. Awesome!!

Marcie was my first best-fitting bra!

    • If the gore was shorter and/or narrower Marcie would've been just about perfect for me!

    • I loved my Marcie but I grew weary of the hard wires and tall gore.

    • 2

I think Marcie runs a bit big in cups. Congrats on a good fit!

Just a quick review cause I only tried it on and I'm not keeping it...

Shape: Short + narrow rooted, soft, low set.

This plunge bra is a rich navy with purple/pink straps and a lace overlay (see close up). It is too tall for me at the armpit; unless I stand with perfect posture there's some gaping at the upper edges. Straps fully adjustable (adjust long enough for my tall frame), and there are hooks on the straps to make it into a racerback. Deep plunge with a short gore. Band is a true 30". Cups are a bit too wide for me. Good quality. Will pass along...

This is a really pretty bra. I like the color combination, and the details on the are really neat. there are little butterfly things on the top edge.
The fit and shape just don't work for me. The lace is a little loose on the top, although if I scoop and swoop I also have a little bit of quadding where the bottom part meets the lace. This would be fine, but I also get a really weird shape. It flattens the bottom curve of my breast, then it comes to a rounded point in the nipple area. It's sort of a torpedo shape, but very flat. It is I think the only bra I have tried that my breasts actually sit in the bottom of with no empty space.

    • Sorry it did not work out. It is a difficult bra to fit. I had similar fit issues with Marcie. It also gave me in cup quadding and a very projected shape / torpedo shape.

    • i also feel the same way about the marcie, have u tried the Cleo Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851) ? i don't fit into the marcie, but the lucy fit's almost perfect. maybe you'd have luck with that one... it's discontinued, but u can still find them on the internet at discount/outlet places.

I have owned this bra and worn it regularly for a couple of years. I have lost a little weight (minimal change in breast-related measurements), which has improved the fit slightly. It is a little too small and shallow at the wire, but the projection is decent overall. The wires are narrower than a lot of bras in this size, though not as narrow as my Ewa Michalak bras. The gore twists slightly, though not enough to really cause discomfort. The gore now tacks pretty well, it used to be more of a soft tack. The band and straps have stretched a bit, but the straps initially were ... barely long enough when fully extended, so a bit of stretching is not a big deal. Otherwise, Mimi has held up quite well. Still looks lovely.

I have softer tissue and am deflated/very shallow up top, so no matter how I shove my tissue around, I never really get the super mounded, almost implant-like look. Mimi manages to give me a "higher", subtly mounded look. Near my period, I quad and explode out of it, even after losing weight.

My biggest complaint was and is the thick edge at the top. It causes a noticeable line regardless of how well the cup fits, both in and out of clothes. This is a bigger problem than the seams. If you are quadding at all, it is accentuated by the edge. The edge can also give the illusion that there is gapping (when looking from an angle or the side), simply because the bra seems so thick (I do not think the foam is actually as thick as it appears with the bound edge).

I also tried the 32G, it fit fairly well, but the edge made it seem bigger than it was. Since I was still losing weight, I decided to go with the smaller size. I think that the 32G was technically a better fit in some ways (at the time), despite appearances.

Caveats: I am full on bottom, somewhat soft-tissued, projected, slightly pendulous, close-set, inner fullness, need a lot of immediate projection. I have narrower roots. I am long-waisted and tall for a woman (5'8"). I have a smaller frame, am a bit deflated on top and have some looser skin. It is not super obvious, but likely affects fit slightly.

    • I totally agree with you. I think the thick edge makes it seem bigger than it is, it's so strange. It's a lovely bra, feels like a polish bra, only by Panache. I wish they would invest in this round shape more since it's so flattering IMO especially for shallow on top breasts.

Pulling out some older bras I know dont work for help to see where to go next. Center gore angles outward and sits on breast tissue. Bottom of the cups are a bit empty, and wires are definitely too wide. It gets pushed down out of my IMF as the day goes on. It cuts into my left breast pretty significantly, and even digs on my towards the middle. Hoping this will help nail down my shape so I know where to go next. I'm definitely center full, pretty sure roots are on the narrower side of average. Think my vertical root height may be on the shorter side of average, and I know I'm short waisted. This makes an interesting combo and I'm really having trouble finding bras I like that fit well.

    • Space at the bottom and slipping down say it’s too shallow but cutting in and floating gore say cups too small which might be why it’s too shallow. Have you submitted a fit check for it yet?

    • I thought so but I may have checked the wrong boxes. I am projected and have narrower roots than most Cleo bras I've tried. The gore doesnt seem to float if you look at it, its touching my skin, but I can slip a finger beneath the wires with no resistance. I have a 32F Hettie that's a better fit though a bit tight in the band. The last time I put this on it seemed too big, if I remember correctly... but that was over 6 months ago and I've had some weight fluctuations in the meantime. I know people recommend different styles of Cleos sometimes to help diagnose shape. 32FF is the calculator size I'm getting from ABTFs after my latest weight change, fitness 34FF before, so I thought throwing on the 2 cleos I had might help lol

    • Maybe soft tack vs floating? Have you tried Cleo Mimi in 32FF? The rose and spots prints are supposed to be deeper and narrower, putting them on par with Polish bras.

    • I did try a mimi, but it was back when I thought I was a 34DD, and it didnt fit at all, but I may have been pretty far off size wise at that point! Maybe I should try it again.
