I thought I'd try this as it is known to run large. It does, but not enough to fit me. I was surprised that the band ran so tight. It fitted like a generous 34K in my opinion. It gives good uplift and a very upfront rounded shape, with a lot of projection. It felt comfortable when trying, but I'm not sure if having only two hook and eye closures woud prove uncomfortable in the long run, as I am sending it back.

Really confused because this is supposed to fit the same as the Lucy.

28FF in this bra was too tight in the cups, gave quad boob effect.
28G is too big in the cups, have wrinkling but the top of the cup still cuts into my breast after wearing.

Neither 30FF nor 30G in this style fit either.

Also the lace is very scratchy and this is generally an uncomfortable bra. Too bad because it's very cute.

So this bra is definitely mislabeled. I don't even know what size it "is" as opposed to what's on the label. Maybe 36J? Anyhow, I bought this from another user, figuring what the heck, I might as well try it. Um. That may not have been a very good idea!

This bra 100% does not fit me. Cups are much too small, wires jab me horribly on the sides. Aside from that, well, it's a pretty bra!
It's quite lightweight, made of a light, soft mesh material. The base color is black, with little white dots on the cups, and blue and pink embroidery on the top cup section and ... along the center gore. It's really very cute.

It's a standard 3-section balconet cut, with small inner section, larger outer section (to which the straps are attached) , and small-ish upper section. The cups are unusually deep at the underwire for a bra of this seam-pattern. The vertical seam between sections measures 7.75"/20cm. I think the relative shapes and sizes of the different sections are a little different than most other bras with this cup shape, in a way that is better for me personally (or would be if it were big enough . . .)
This is not a heavy-duty bra. The materials are light, the straps are thin, the band is thin and very stretchy and only has two hooks. The underwire is stronger than Freya/Fantasie but not as stiff/strong as Panache Tango. The wire shape is fairly U shaped, straight up and down on the sides. Interestingly, the wires are quite similar in width to my Panache Jasmine in 32K, althought slightly more straigh up and down, and slightly higher at the outside, but the Jasmine32K is mostly good, and this Cleo Lizzie digs in horribly.

I have just moved into this size (32H) from a 34G and I have to say that this is the best fitting bra I have every owned!!! I absolutely love it. I hope it stays tried and true as it breaks it, but so far amazing. It is extremely soft in the padding (which is a must for me) and I have nooooo problem filling the cups. Going from the 34 band to the 32 is noticeable, but perfect...and although it is snug, I know that's a good thing. The band is fairly stretchy to compensate for this. Otherwise it is beautiful on my figure. Love it.

    I'm so happy to finally have a George! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
I got it used from Bratabase, so thanks, Bratabase https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
It fits me perfectly. I had to look around, in the end I tried 30D, 30DD and 28F in various George colors, and I ended up needing a 30E. It's amazingly comfortable, I wear it and don't even notice it at all. It makes the shape that I like best and I also just plainly like the color (even though I usually don't wear yellow...) and the pattern.
This will probably become my favorite bra! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The shape from the side is nice, round but still natural and uplifted. The band is firm but comfortable. The straps are not fully adjustable, but they work for me. The center gore is a bit too wide for my close set breasts, but I was able to fix this by sewing the center gore together. My only issue is that the wires sometimes dig in under my boobs. I think if the band extended to under my boobs, this wouldn't happen.

I love this bra - it feels snug but comfortable and it looks amazing.

I find the underwires are a little wide and travel towards my back and the cup is a little on the generous size: but not enough that I would drop down a cup size. I'm wearing a 28GG in this bra and I seem to be very consistently that size across all the Cleo range.

The straps are also quite wide set and I find this very flattering.

Did I mention this bra looks amazing?

I struggle with the Cleo panties range and have yet to buy a pair (I tend to find crotch length is too long in nearly everything except a hipster or boyleg style) but I was able to find a great match to the near opaque red mesh of the bra at my local Target. What a great set in red.

    Highly recommend.

The shape is really pointy and cone-like, nothing like on the model. It forces my bottom-heavy breasts upwards and outwards in a really unflattering way, almost like madonna. If you have top-heavy breasts, I think this bra would be fine though (in the right size of course). On me, I think that any size is just not going to work. I should have bought it in a 28GG but there were only 28Gs left - that's the problem with buying sale items online!

The back is also enormous, I have it fastened on the tightest hook and it is still barely hanging on.

edit - I've grown and now the fit issues with this bra mean it is no longer wearable, I would need a 28H as there is lots of double boob going on. The band is still too big.

    Fits

The Cleo Jamie is an unpadded, underwired plunge bra made of a sheer hot pink material with a contrasting blue spotted ribbon woven through the top of the cups and a bow on the centre gore. The straps are fully adjustable and there are 2 eye hooks on the band.

I really like this bra! I find it to be comfortable and supportive for my shape, as well as being very pretty and just a little sexy. When I put it on it makes me want to smile! The shape it gives under clothes is a naturally uplifted and rounded look, not in-your-face, but not at all pointy ... either. The lacey fabric does show through very tight or sheer t-shirts, and the hot pink colour could be a problem if you don’t like your bra straps showing under tops with narrow straps, but I personally don’t mind my bra showing a little, and I think the colour is bright and fun enough to be worn as part of your outfit.

My boobs are close set and I can have problems with centre gores painfully digging into breast tissue, but the gore on the Jamie is low enough for it not to be an problem for me. I have also had issues before with bras with narrower underwires digging into breast tissue under my arms, but I don’t have that problem with this bra either. I wore it around the house in the evenings for about a week to break it in (just in case!) and now I can comfortably wear it all day at work without having to readjust because of my boobs moving about, or discomfort.

I find the band comfortable and supportive on the loosest hook and the cups enclose my breasts and fit perfectly. I bought mine from a seller on ebay, if ever given the chance I would like to see how the 28FF fits, because although I have no quadboob at the top, it’s a near thing. If my boobs were to grow even a little, it could quickly become too small.

I should note that I had to remove the ribbon threaded through the top of the cups as it’s quite a bit is tighter than the fabric of the cups themselves, causing a quad boob effect and a very unattractive shape under clothes. Once removed however, the cups fit perfectly, and the shape is lovely. It’s a shame because the ribbon was really pretty, but I don’t feel the appearance of the bra suffers now it’s removed, it still looks just as nice!

  12. Darcy Padded Balconette (6821)

When I first saw this bra, I fell in love with it. I read one good review about it and went ahead and ordered it in what I think my normal size might be 28FF, but I'm really not sure on that.

The pattern is gorgeous, with the white, red, and navy blue combination is adorable in my opinion. The straps are fairly thin, which I'm a huuge fan of but I know many people would prefer the thicker straps. I also like the thinner, 2 hook clasp but I know many people aren't a fan of that as well.

I would not go as far to say ... that this is "Padded" as the name suggests. I'd call it "lightly lined"or something of that sort. The "padding" that this bra has is not going to really add anything to the size of your boobs or enhance your cleavage, but I am not a big fan of unlined bras so I really liked this aspect.

The only thing I'm having trouble with is completely hiding this bra under clothes. Being from the land of seamless moulded t-shirt bras, The seam down the center of this bra is giving me a bit of difficulty. So far the only way I've completely hidden it is under 3 cami shirts, which is a bit crazy. Of course, this is not a t-shirt bra so I should've been expecting that.

Overall, I'm a big fan of this bra because it's absolutely adorable, and fits me well!

Edit: I seem to have grown a bit and the bra now causes some quad-boob. The lace along the edges makes it so that it's not as noticeable, but at this point theres enough extra boob that I can't really wear the bra. I'm in love with the design though, so I think I may try to buy this in a 28G.

I quite like the band on this bran and feel like it give nice uplift for a soft cup bra. The shoulder straps are a bit uncomfortable for me, though: they are halfway adjustable, and I have lengthened them to their maximum length, but they still feel snug and the plastic connector digs directly in to the top of my shoulder. I've never had strap length issues with any other bra, so I'm not sure why this is happening here.

The shape this bra gives under clothes I like, which is lifted, upfront, and rounded. The material of the cups do not stretch at all, and I get ... a hint of cutting in along the top quad effect when I move around on some days, but when I tried the next size up at 32J, the cups were significantly too large for me and so I exchanged it for this size, 32H.

My breasts are close set together with no space between them, and this bra has no space between the underwires at the sternum at all which fits great.

There are 2 rows of hooks in the back, and the band is stretchy and I have a big of soft padding around my ribs so prefer my bands very snug, so I end up with a bit of rolls when wearing this bra because it's not wide enough to smooth everything out and still give support. Not enough to discourage me from wearing it and not more than some of my other bras do, but something to note for similar shapes. The band goes all the way around under the cups and feels supportive.

  14. Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851)

I had to try several versions of the Lucy before I finally found my size at 32HH in this bra, but now that I've found it, I really like it! The wires are a bit wide, so it scoops up everything on the sides, but then is shapes it forward and lifts in to a round profile. I used to wear only molded or padded bras, and more recently started to try to find soft cup bras I like. I have several, but this is by far my favorite so far.

The straps are comfortable, and the bright yellow color is fun and youthful. It's very thin material ... but feels sturdy. If I breathe in deeply and push forward a bit, then I get a tiny amount of quadraboob at the top of the cup because the material is not stretchy, but having tried cup sizes both larger with gaps at the top and smaller when I bubbles out, this is certainly the closest size for me.

(Maybe that's how soft bras are supposed to fit? Mostly fine across the top edge, but slight cut in when you very deeply inhale? My other brand, frequently worn soft cup does this as well, but next size up was also way too big, so I assumed that's how it works.)

I wear it under my dark tank tops and t-shirts and don't really notice the seams, and the lace detailing also hides underclothing neatly.

    ---
    Addendum:
I modified this bra to take in the center gore to put the underwires directly next to each other and rotate the cups in slightly. It fits better in the sternum, though the wires are still a bit tall for me, since my breasts are so close set together. There's still a bit of cutting in across the top when I move, as the lace doesn't stretch at all. (can't take measurements sicne I forgot to take them before I sewed it smaller. D'oh.)

I think using navy for the base colour and red as the accent colour looks really nice since the red really pops against the dark background. I really like the bird pattern on the fabric and I like how there's a little bird charm on the centre gore as well. For me, the red strip of mesh on the top of the cups really makes the bra, it definitely gives it more visual interest. I would say this bra is very pretty without being frilly.

Other than the look of the bra, the first thing I noticed was that the fabric on the cups is stiff, it doesn't feel itchy, but it's definitely stiff. The second thing I noticed is that the centre gore is pretty narrow.

Fit wise, the band is very firm, maybe the tighter end of a 30. I would not recommend sizing up though. The cups fit pretty well, I don't have a quad boob and there's no baggyness, although I do have some wrinkling right above the top seam.

I find that this fits similarly to the Cleo Eleanor. Gives a very upfront, round shape.

Edit 9/28/2012: I concluded that the band on this is actually a little too tight for me--while I can fasten it, the wires distort and the hooks strain at the back. Replaced with a 32FF, which works much better. Consider sizing up in the band on this one.

Really pretty bra, but had to return it because the 32J cup was just a bit too big for me, after earlier having tried a 34GG cup and ended up with quad boob across the top for too small of a cup. The top edge of the cup does seem loose enough to work for my full on top shape, and I just need to split the difference and try a 32HH next time.

With the cup being too big, the underwires came very far around my body to on my back, and also very high to poke at the back area of my underarm/back. The smaller size earlier didn't poke me, but was still fairly wide, so it seems like this bra would work well for wide-set shape and needing very high underwires but still not as covering up as a full coverage style.

I feel like this doesn't do anything for my shape. It makes my breast look very sad and downturned. I'm not sure what's wrong with the size. The back band seems to ride up a little bit even on the tightest hook, but I'm not sure if it's the construction since my CK in 32 doesn't do this.
