Unfortunately, this bra doesn't do me any favors. It's not that supportive. And while the cups wrinkle at the top, it's too small at bottom. It also gaps on the side. And it's not that attractive. Perhaps if you are a smaller cup size, or fuller on top. or even MORE self-supporting than I am, it will work for you. I much prefer the Dalis bralette.
This bra is so freaking cute! I love how overwhelmingly fun it is. It fits well except for the top of the cup, it digs in and I get slight quadboob on my right boob and sever quadboob on the left. My nipples and my puffy areolas sit right where the top lace meets the bottom of the cup, creating a bulge in the otherwise round shape of the cup. The band fits comfortably, if not a teensy bit tight. I'm going to hold onto this one in case I drop 5 lbs.
Adorable bra, just a little bit too small for me but it's not noticeable because of the short cups. It has just the right amount of padding for a t shirt bra. It goves a rounded shape.
This bra is a cup size too small for me right now. If it wasn’t, it would work pretty well for me (narrow and tall roots, full on bottom, more projected than shallow).
This bra is beautiful, but a total shape mismatch for me. The cups are set very far apart from one another, to the extent that when I put it on I am not even technically wearing the bra. The stitching quality is poor, with loose threads around the underwire at purchase. The straps have beautiful reflective shimmer on the tops and not on the side against your skin, which is a plus.
This bra is extremely pretty. The black lace overlay on top of the dark blue looks so nice. It's not really a longline, but it is longer than your average bra and has three clasps rather than two. The band is firm, stretching to exactly 30 inches, which could be because it's a dark color. As much as I wanted this bra to work, it is an awkward fit for me. The elastic at the top of the cups cuts into my tall roots and there wasn't enough projection at the bottom of the cup for me. I have tried the other version of the Piper longline and it also didn't fit. The elastic at the top of the cups still cut in, but I have some wrinkling between the horizontal seam and the top of the cup. I read that this bra was a tough fit before purchasing, but it was so pretty I was convinced I could make it work. Alas.
This bra has a lot of room in the tops of the cups, even as closed off as they are. The material itself is rough and somewhat scratchy. The stitching was unraveling in several places when I took it out of the bag, which was frustrating given the price. I had really loved the style, but it just doesn’t work for me.
This bra works okay for me, but the band is quite stretchy. I tried this on during my first round of trying to find ABTF in a 28E and it felt way too tight everywhere. I returned for a 30E. A 28F would have been better. The wires are little bit wide for me and I get a hint of quadding on certain days. The cups are thicker foam than I expected, but still flexible. The vertical seam is visible under tight or drapey shirts, but that doesn't bother me. One of the quirks of this bra is that the lace doesn't lie flat if it the cups fit well, but does if the cups are too small. I like that the straps are enclosed in soft fabric and don't irritate my armpits.
This bra is a shape mismatch for me. The cup volume feels about right, but the stretch lace at the top sags. It wasn't too bad initially, but after a couple wears it seems to stretch a bit and become more noticeable. It is made of a smooth and comfortable fabric, with a lace overlay. The band is firmer than my Cleo Lucy. I think it is better for even to FOT, rather than FOB. The straps chafe my armpits and this hasn't gotten much better even with wearing/washing.
This is one of my better fitting bras, although I get a little quadboob, especially on my larger breast. I suspect this is a combination of being slightly too small in the cup and the lace on top has no give, which doesn't accommodate my tall roots well. The band feels TTS. The wires are fairly narrow, with a moderately low center gore and wing. Cleo Lucy is sheer mesh with embroidery and lace on the top. It is quite pretty and very lightweight.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, semi soft tissue.
I had high hopes for this bra, but it just doesn't fit me. I was excited about this being a super plunge strapless, but that's all it has going for it, lol. The cups are very wide, but oh so very shallow. It doesn't even stay up momentarily, it just immediately slides down and rests on my ribs instead of being under my bust. It looks quite funny, like a little plate holding up my boobs. 😂 The cup is very open, so it doesn't close in on top of my ...roots, and the band is a good size, not too tight or loose (I do think it runs small for a 32" band). This might be a fantastic bra for shallow shapes, it's just not FOB friendly.
Other positive features that I see: good wing height, side boning that isn't obnoxious, silicone strips on the top and bottom of the band, and 3 hooks in the back to get a more secure fit. Read more 72 more words
I learned I can't fill out the cups at the top, and it was slightly too wide in the cups. I may need to look for a little bit narrower cup, and maybe a different size to fix the underfilled issue. I found the gore to be too big/tall for my comfort. The band was tight but not uncomfortable. The wires seemed to sit in right place.
I love this bra! (Technically, I should be wearing a 30FF, but I wear the 28G with an extender.) The stretchy lace makes it work, covering up small differences in size and also hides the fact that my FOB breasts might not fill up the top otherwise. The low gore is fantastic for close-set breasts, and my center-full breasts are also comfortably encased. I wish it came in more colors. While I like the magnetic clasp a lot (it's a very strong magnet), I'd prefer to have this bra with a more normal back/straps, so that I could wear it with everything (I'm not in my 20s, and probably should not be showing my bra straps!).
It has good projection, but not quite enough immediate projection for me to be perfect. The gore is very high, just like other Panache and Cleo.
The fabric is okay, but the overall feel of the bra I think only really works if you're a bit smaller. I don't like 2-hook bras and the straps are very narrow so it doesn't feel supportive enough for me.
On some days I can wear this, others I quad out of it, and some other days the top wrinkles on me. But the band rides up if I wear it and the fabric makes marks into my skin which is unpleasant and the bra is not very comfortable to wear.
Very pretty bra. Foam on this one is too big for me, although the smaller one didn't work either. Maybe a shape mismatch. I recommend it if you can make it work for your shape!
I really wanted this bra to work. It's very pretty, and I like the way the lace extends beyond the cup. That is, until I noticed my breast was falling out of the cup because the foam part was too small! The foam also tends to push against the lace. Maybe the shape is just wrong for me, b/c it does that on the larger size, too.
Fantastic bra. This one is a little too small in the cup for me. I'm going to keep the 28G I got & wear with an extender. (30FF would be ideal for me.) The stretch lace makes this so comfortable. The red is very pretty, and the back is gorgeous. The magnet is NOT hard to clasp, or you can just put it on over your head w/o unclasping. A winner!
I tried this bra in my usual size 28F first and found it slightly too small. I was initially worried that a 28FF would be too big and it did look kind of big, but when I put it on the fit is decent. My shape is projected, fuller on top and centre, with narrow and tall roots, soft, self supporting tissue and super close-set. This bra has deep cups and is rather open on top even though the top lace section is not stretchy at all. The wires are a bit too wide for my very narrow roots but not significantly. Like all balconettes, the gore is too high and wide for me but I'm going to overlap the wires. Hopefully this will also make the wires sit narrower on the side. I would prefer more side/armpit coverage but everything else fits fine so I won't be greedy!
I guess maybe your boobs are too close to wear a balconette, I suggest you to try some wired triangle bras or polish brands plunges.
