This bra is so very close to being perfect but the bottom of the cups are just a little too shallow for me resulting in my boobs pulling the whole bra down. Otherwise it fits great on top with no wrinkling or gapping. It's good for full on top shapes but just not projected enough to be the right fit on me.
This is the teal / turqouise Juna animal bra. I´ve had a red Juna bra and it fit me in 28FF. This bra is however a little smaller in the cups, and I get some quadboob! Not very much, but I think I should´ve got 28G (I´ve never ever worn 28G!!). The cups give a nice and rounded look, like Cleo bras usually.
The band is one of the tightest bands I´ve tried. It feels true 28 though, and it is not too tight for me. The gore was painful after a long day´s wear. Wire ends had stabbed me in the sternum, but I think this is easily ...fixed by bending the wires, they were easy to bend. Straps adjust all the way.
Although 28G would be ideal size for me, this 28FF is not bad and I´ll keep it. Very nice colour, nice shape and a nice bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I also got matching short UK10. I can wear it comfortably but I do get bulges from its elastics. I think I´d prefer UK12 which is my usual size (UK12 was not available from that seller). I find that the short runs true to size. Read more 92 more words
This is my best-fitting bra. It has fully-adjustable straps for my short frame, The band is quite snug on the loosest hook, the stretchy lower cup accommodates my differently-sized, deflated, soft, full-on-bottom tissue, providing a nice round shape. And the lace top cup lays flat with no gaping! But the gore is a bit too wide and a bit too short. The wire on my bigger side gets pushed onto my breast tissue, wich tries to escape the lace upper cup where it meete the gore. I get a wee bit of quad-boob where the undercup meets the lace. My tissue is soft enough that it escapes the ...lace as i move about walking, so i find myself adjusting during the day. Perhaps my FOB breasts force it down because it does not have a full band, has narrow straps and only has two hooks? Also, the material on the underwires is very scratchy. Excepting the issue of gravity and just how much a bra with these construction issues can provide all-day support, the comfort issues may well resolve after it breaks in. Read more 76 more words
This bra manages to be a little too big and a little too small at the same time for me. There isn't quite enough immediate projection at the bottoms of the cups for me, to it tends to fold over on itself. the cups are a little too tall, and the gore, though not uncomfortable, is low enough that my tissue tries to escape in the middle if I don't adjust relatively frequently.
I'm more of a 25 band, and I felt it ran true to size to a 28 band.I started off comfortably on the second set of hooks.
It does give me a teensy bit of VS style cleavage, but I'd rather have the mega cleavage of a Deco, or cakes on a plate style, or none at all.
Itchy and Scratchy material felt very rough on my skin; left red marks. Top of the cups were gaping as well. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Material so thin your nipples show through clothing when you get cold or sneeze. O.O
The Cleo Lucy in a 28FF only stretches to about 28" (not 29" like bratabase data suggests, some of the data is probably from older, well-loved bras). Sounds typical for Panache, so I should have payed attention before I bought this!
The purple colorway is gorgeous, and the little details on the bra are very pretty. I've found that some of the embroidery on the cups shows through a thin t-shirt just enough to annoy me, but that's not a big deal most of the time. The cups lift and round quite well; the fabric is stiff and very secure. I'm a fan of the up front and rounded ...look that this gives.
The gore is my only real complaint about this bra. It is too wide for me, but it also folds over on itself because it is so unstable! I don't think this would be a problem for someone with more separate boobs than mine; also, the instability of the gore means that alterations should be super simple.
Those who want to use an extender, be warned: the hooks are closer together on this (and the other 28 band Panache bras I've tried) than on the average bra. Read more 91 more words
Love the aqua and pink Cleo Lily, but the band runs tight! It only stretches to 28" (I was hoping for 29" like the data here suggested), so I have to wear it with an extender. Other than that, the Lily is a great fit for my soft, projected boobs. Gives a nice, rounded, lifted shape, and is mostly invisible under a thin t-shirt. The lace has no give to it, but that means that the shape does not distort throughout the day. Gore is very narrow and stable (far better than the gore on the Lucy in the same size, which is wider and somewhat unstable for me).
The only cons that I've seen so far are that the tags are somewhat itchy (though, in the humid 90F heat, everything feels itchy) and the hooks are so close together that my extender doesn't fit them properly (they're the same width apart as the hooks on my Ewa Michalak S bra!). Straps are also somewhat wide, but I never felt them slipping.
The top most of the cup digs into my breast tissue and a little of the lacey bit below it has empty space. I'm gonna try it in a 28G but I really hate the colour. I love pink. But it just doesn't work for me. I wish Cleo but thicken their straps at least for FF and up. Marcie, Lucy, Minnie, Lily all have fairly thin straps. It's also a little wide for me. and my breasts are a bit close set for it.
This is what I would call a very good bra for me. It would be excellent if the straps were placed slightly closer together and the band was a little looser (I shoudl have ordered a 30 inch band). The straps are spaced too far apart for my narrow shoulders, contributing to some gaping at the top of each cup. Overall it gives a very supported, smooth look even under tight tops. This is the first bra my husband commented on as looking awesome UNDER my clothes (as in he said my chest looked great.) Almost perfect! I would keep it if the band and straps fit better.
This is the wrong shape for me. The Marcie fits me perfectly. I have a lot of center fullness that isnt contained by this bra, I quadboob out of this because I'm more even - full on top than full on bottom. I'd prefer the wires to be higher under my arms. I'm not keen on the shape it gives me. Also the bottom of the cup doesnt really wrinkle but doesn't feel quite right.
I love the shape the Marcie gives me and also how well fitting it is [no wrinkling, gaping, quadboobing etc]. I feel the pink is tighter than the purple.
My best fit! This is my favourite bra. Pro: I love the deep purple. It contains my center fullness quite well. Band is perfectly snug for me. No bottom/side wrinkling & no quadboob. Gore sits flat and is comfortable. Good stretchiness. I have fairly brood shoulders and the straps are fine for me. Cons: More colours, [I wish I could get a hold of the red]
The cups on this bra were much too closed for my full-on-top breasts. The wires were also quite wide and there was excess fabric on either side. Would likely be best for someone who is wide and FoB.
More comfortable underwire than the Cleo Neve Plunge 7196, but shape still seems off. 28 is a bit too tight, doesn't sit flat against the sternum, even though the FF seems to fill the cups well most places except the bottom.
I've tried four sizes of the Marcie and this one fits me best. I figure myself to be a pretty solid 28F, and the 28FF is this model is perfect. The 28F cut along the top edge a bit. The band is nice and tight, but feels like it would stretch out quickly. That lace pattern is whimsical. It gives a nice rounded shape for an unlined bra which is what makes Marcie so magical.
I bought this bra when I was looking for a TShirt bra. It give a nice shape, looks good under all my shirts. The band isn't as firm as other Cleo's so it stretched much faster than I like. Not so good for my 25" ribcage.
This is my new favourite bra - it fits perfectly, covering up some of the top half of my breasts without curving in and squashing them. I also love the coral straps.
One downside is that due to the pink stitching at the top of the cups, this really can't be worn under a thin t-shirt because it is slightly raised.
I have problems with Cleo bras. I love them because they usually give my boobs a rounded look in profile but the fit is odd. In my usual size 28FF the cups are always a bit to small, when I ordered the christina bra in 28G the cups were huge.. so had to exchange for 28ff. In 28FF the minnie bra felt at least one cup size too small. Smaller than my other cleo unpadded bras, so I returned it. Also the look wasn't round in profile but more pointy, saggy and unattractive. And I have really round boobs already.
First bra that mostly fit me! My boobs are very close together, so I would be better served with a plunge, since I have issues with the center staying flat because there isn't enough space, even though it couldn't get any smaller (there isn't added material between underwires). It's pretty, the lace is nice - it's a little low on me because the seam where it meets the lining runs right across my nipple, which can be uncomfortable. I've worn it almost every day for a few months with little to no stretching! Very durable, very reliable.
