This bra definitely doesn't fit in a technical sense, the cups are a bit too shallow at the base, they gape a small amount where the straps meet and and the gore does not sit flat. But with an extender it is workable, and is the best fitting molded bra that I have found so far for my very soft, pendulous breasts.

I really like the way the gore cuts away very high on this bra. This is great if you have a high tummy or spread ribs from pregnancy. I also like the novelty of the very thin straps on this bra.

I will likely repurchase this ... in another color but will try it in a 32FF to try to eliminate the extender and the slight center overspill I get at certain times of the month.

NOTE - This review is for the blue spotted version of this bra. I have tried the solid colored "Maddie" bra that has the lace on top of the cup (as opposed to coming from beneath like this style) and I think the fit is entirely different. This bra seemed more shallow and closed on the top, while that bra seemed deeper, but very open at the top. That version stood away from my body by over an inch at the top in this same size! I think this version is the better choice of the two for pendulous, full on bottom breasts.

I bought this bra on sale thinking that I could wear it with an extender, and it was a bad idea. It is just so tight. I gave it about 2 hours and then gave up. I think bandless styles might just not really be for me. The wires were very stiff, unnecessarily so for such a small cup size, in my opinion.

The bra itself is beautiful. The cups fit perfectly. Although I generally prefer a more natural shape (good pointy or "green shape") I did appreciate the lovely rounded shape this bra gave. I think this resembles the look you get with moulded cups and would look nice under certain types of clothes.

At first I got this bra in 28F but I fould it too small in the cups. I think it runs 1 size too small. Because 28FF was not available, I got a sister size 30F and now the cups fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The band is almost good when in the tightest hooks but I´ll alter it to 28. Straps are partly adjustable. I find the wires very comfortable and wide enough ( I need normal - wide wires).

ETA. I altered the band down so it is good now. But my boob shape changed and there is now some quadboob. The lace on top masks it pretty well though.

  5. Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851)

This might have worked because I have an average/short torso, but the straps were just barely long enough (or maybe I have a long one, and other bras just had even longer straps). I also have a strange problem where the bottom of the band feels tighter than the top of the band, but maybe that's a time issue. The fabric also feels scratchy sometimes, as does the connection between the strap and the cup, but most of the time the bra feels like it's not even there. Will update with more wear!

EDIT: So after a couple of months, the Lucy doesn't fit me as well as when I first got it. I have some quadboob, though I believe it's a result of some shape changes my breasts have gone through. I wear the bra on its tightest hooks now, as that's more comfortable for me with a 27" ribcage. It's held up incredible well and turned out really well though; very comfortable. I'm sad that I'm no longer compatible with it!

I really love this bra. I have had it for a little while now and it fits me better than anything I've had, to the point where I'm worried I will wear it out. So far, I have not noticed any stretching. The quality seems quite solid. It gives me a great silhouette in any top. I would not recommend it for enhancing cleavage, at least not at this size.

I find the wires are the perfect size. With wider bras I experience poking. I have slightly wide-set breasts that are FOB, and this works perfectly for bringing everything together without forcing it. The gore sits flat and there ... is no spillage on top or the sides. My left breast is just a tad smaller than my right, so there are a couple mm of gap in certain positions, but the right breast fills the cup.

My only complaint is that I find the straps are a tiiiiny bit too long for my body. I am 5'3'' so my proportions are on the petite side, and I have occasional issues with the straps sliding down.

The band is stiffer and tighter than some of my 28 bands. I'm glad I got a 30 band. I fill out the cup pretty nicely, some wrinkling on my smaller boob. They give an awesome rounded shape for no padding, molding, etc. Love it. Lace is a little itchy.

I would prefer if the wires were a little bit more narrow, but other than that it's the best fitting bra I have. I had read that it would be good for projected, full on top breasts and it really is.

  9. Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851)

My Lucy 30F in the Navy colourway is very true to size. It's absolutely gorgeous on, and made in a nice, silky material.

I've handwashed it and worn it quite a bit and I haven't noticed any stretching going on. Its soft cups doesn't do much for the shape, but if you like you natural shape then that's fine. Lucy def gives a nice support and long wear.

However, the comfort isn't too good. The underwire is stiff and pushes against my ribs (because I haven't any squish there). The bottom of the band and the center gore bites into my skin, because of how sharp the fabric is. In my third picture you can see some semi-healed blisters I got from the sharp edge of the band.

While I love my Lucy I won't repurchase it because of the comfort factor - it's just a deal breaker! - unless they change the material this bra is made of, or pad the bottom band and gore.

Band runs very snug, it is very supportive on my 29 inch underbust but I have to take a couple breaks from it over the course of the day. Not super tight though, can still fit a few fingers under. Gore tacks perhaps a bit too much, that combined with how high it is, it can dig in at the top. Cup seems to run true to size. Very interesting construction, sides are very supportive and move everything up and forward, almost to a pointed shape. Goes well with its cute and interesting design.

So, this bra is beautiful. I love the polka dots. I also got the shorts in a size 12, and they fit pretty well, and the set is just adorable!

I measure at a 28 band, but I tried the Lucy in 28FF and it is still a little tight for my liking after 5+ months, so I got this in a 30F, and the band is still super tight after 3 months. So, sizing up in the band was perfect for me in this bra. It's tight and stiff, but not unbearably tight. At first the underwires creaked, but the stopped after a few washes.

Now, as to ... the cups. I'm still working on figuring out my shape. I think that I've determined that I'm omega shaped. But I'm also shallow. Most of my tissue is projected at the bottom but with even fullness, but it reaches all the way to my collar bone. My breasts are also splayed due to my prominent breast bone. And I have a long torso. All of these shape qualities together lead me to being hard to fit in a non-moulded bra. In every unlined bra that I've tried, I get a wrinkle. Even if it's too small, I still get a wrinkle at the part where the bottom meets the lace upper part of the cup. This is no exception. In this bra, though, it's the smallest amount of wrinkle and is not noticeable in most shirts. I plan on fixing it by just sewing the wrinkle down. Why am i willing to sew just to have an unlined bra? Because the shape this gives me is gorgeous! This gives me a nice projected, pulled forward, round shape. The material is stiff and it holds my breasts in place while still being comfortable. The support is surprising. Since I've been wearing bras, I've been looking for bras that do not give me quadboob, which lead me to only having bras that are cut open at the top, so while the bottom is supported, the top is super jiggly and not supported. This bra gives me support everywhere! I feel that I could run in this bra! But I think the projection would make me sore.

Overall, this bra is almost the perfect unlined bra for my shape.

So excited to have found this bra! I thought it wouldnt work with my close-set, shallow breasts but for some reason it did. Typically, I have trouble when gores are too high or wide. This one is high but somehow narrow so it doesnt sit on much breast tissue, a problem that I usually encounter. The cup is also filled out nicely. There isn't too much of the lace material up top so even shallow breasted ladies like me wont have gaping cups. My only complaint is that the underwire on the side sometimes pokes into my underarms on one side (to be fair, thats my fatty underarm side.) I love how the straps on this bra are pretty and thin https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Definitely a keeper

The main problem with this bra is the gaping that happens on my shallow breasts. They fill the bottom of the cup out but the loose material on top just looks terrible and overall makes the bra feel weird. The rest of the bra fits okay and feels normal for a 30F. Wont be keeping this one

The band on this bra fits more like a 28. It gapes a little bit at the top and the wire at the gore presses into my larger right breast a little bit. In spite of that it is my favorite bra so far! The fabric is sturdy and it gives great support. The shape it gives is nice and round. The lower projection is perfect for me. The colors are absolutely vibrant and beautiful!

The bra fits pretty nicely, except the line where the lace meets the fabric digs into my breasts, I will have to size up. The material is pretty itchy as well, but I like that the straps are narrow. The band is also a great fit, but there is lots of forward projection.

Update: Ordered a size up to 30FF, and while the cup fit very nicely, the straps were not long enough and dug into my shoulders really bad. I am 5' 7" for reference.

Definitely a really cute bra, and I like the feel of the material used for the cups! I didn't write a review for it initially, while it still fit, but now that I've lost a little bit of weight, I can't fill out the tops of the cups and the lace is wrinkled. I'll have to save this one for when it's near my period, now. Quality is really great, as it's been holding up well for months! Band is really firm, and does take some getting used to, but it's really comfortable now.

This bra is way more stunning in person than can be seen in pictures! It's a lovely teal with coral, purple, red, white, and green shades in paisley with pink lace at the top.

The cups are sheer mesh and are super soft! Sadly, the horizontal seam wrinkles horrible for me. I get huge orange in a glass with super wrinkled tops in this bra. I think if I was FOT it wouldn't do that for me. It's just amazing to me how soft it is!

The band is teal mesh. It seems to be a true 30 band. I never felt like I needed to break it in.

The straps are 1/2 adjustable, but the front part is the same pattern as the cups and looks cute under shirts.

I really wish this bra worked with my shape. It is super comfortable and absolutely stunning to look at. There was just super-wrinkling at the seam in the cups and it didn't really give me that great of a shape in order to try to fix it.

Im still trying to figure out my shape...but i think ive got the cup figured out! I guess I'm more projected than I thought. The bottom of the cups gets pushes down about an inch from my inframammary fold. The top looks like it gapes a little bit, but im not sure if it does.

The gore is tall and pokey. The wires aren't quite long enough.
The top edge of the cup does show under a shirt, but the lace doeant.

I love everything about this bra except that the center gore is too high and cuts into my skin. The lace along the top is a bit stiff and sticks out but it doesn't show under my shirts so it doesn't bother me too much.
