Definitely runs a bit small. Order up a cup size. The tops of the cups cut into my breasts, and I have bottom heavy breasts. This is probably not the right bra for top heavy girls.

Cups bow out at the top, but the cups are very close together, which is nice for my shape.

Love the close cup placement, my close-set breasts fit comfortably. I am just a tiny bit too full on top for the cups, with tissue occasionally bulging at the top and creating a slight quad-boob effect...only sometimes, though. Other times, it looks perfect.

I'm not a fan of the fabric. It's one of the soft cup bras that's made of two layers of thin, stiff, plasticky, semitransparent mesh. I'm very sensitive to synthetic fabrics, and this gives me low-level itch. I've washed it 2-3 times now, but still haven't managed to wear it for a full day.

    Material: 58% polyamide, 38% polyester, 4% elasthene

T-shirt friendliness: Medium. The fabric is mostly smooth, with a bit of ruffle at the cup edge; this would not be seen except in a very thin shirt. The bright colors can be seen beneath thin or light-colored shirts.

** These are notes from trying the bra on once. **

Surprising support considering it's a plunge and plunges don't usually work for me. Sit well in the cups, no escaping. Lightly padded. Seems quite comfortable.

I do get a bit of quad-boob, and the gore doesn't quite tack (while the band still feels on the tight side), indicating my usual problem of being too full on bottom so the band doesn't even touch my ribcage in the front. So it looks like I need one cup size up. 30F is perfect for me in some models (Freya Rio, Curvy Kate Portia), but I may need a 30FF here.

You may see a slight dent in the cup in the 3/4 view picture; that's from Amazon packing the cups inside each other with one inside out.

    Material: 50% polyamide, 39% polyester, 11% elasthene

    Didn't fit

This was my first attempt at a bra that actually fits (along with a 30F - Freya » Deco Moulded Half Cup Bra (4232) ...so I used an average of a bunch of bra calculators (non-plus 4" ones) to get 30F (but I knew going into it that it might not fit bc a) I'm in between measurements and b) got a range of measurements from a 30FF to a 32DD. So, given this range, I think this was a pretty good first try--not perfect, but definitely close.

The Pros: smooth under clothes (with the slight exception of the trim showing under clingier fabrics). Comfortable: the ... gore tacks, doesn't poke at the top and is close enough for my close-set breasts; the underwire goes up high enough, but does not jab; straps are fully adjustable; the bra doesn't move around.

The Cons: [mostly due to the wrong size, not related necessarily to the bra itself] although the underwire sits perfectly around my outer breasts, the top of the cups where the straps meet is just a bit too wide and digs into the muscle/tendons of the inside of my shoulders/underarm area; I fill the bottom but have some gapping at the top (probably can pinch 1/2" of the cup right beside the straps); band is too tight, must wear an extender (I use 1 hook or 2 if I have to wear it for more than a few hours); the nude shade is a bit too dark for me, not a true nude for my light/pale skin tone (but might be good for medium skin tones); the straps are tan--and don't fade as much as I would prefer under strappier shirts).

I'm between a 29.5 and a 31-ish, depending on the day/time of the month, and definitely found the 32E much more comfortable than this 30F. [Although this is my first "true"-ish size bra, so it might also be a bit of a comfort issue related to the very loose, stretchy 34C bras I'm used to wearing.] Regardless, it tight enough that it cause a great deal of bulging on my back. Stretch-wise, it seems kind of stretchy, more so that than the 30F freya mentioned above (even though that's technically longer in the band, in stretchiness alone this Cleo Maddie seems proportionately more stretchy.)

Perhaps a tighter band size (28F) would help with the slight wrinkling of the top of the cups. The half-mesh top is not an incredibly flattering style (creates a pucker line), but it fits ok.

The shape is all wrong and the cups are too small. I quadboob on top and wrinkle at the bottom, so this bra would fit 30E-ish FOB types more. I like the design and all that, but the fit is terrible.

It's too small in the cups for me, but I love the purple too much to return it. If I lengthen the straps a little, and thanks to the Marcie's very forgiving upper lace section, I don't get too much quadboob.

Firm band - I could probably have done with a 32.

Very comfortable, narrow gore suits my close-set breasts. It's still too wide for me, though!

    Gives a beautiful lifted/rounded shape.

*Edited to add: I've since tried the Marcie in a 32 band and it's a little too loose for me, and the gore height becomes unmanageable.

My breasts have a narrow, tall root, so non-Polish bras just don't seem to work for me. The wires were too wide, and there wasn't enough projection in the cups for me. But this is a really nice bra. The fabric is super soft and smooth, and the band is firm without being too firm - best bra band ever, so far. Its just so soft! Its like its hugging me! Seriously, best band ever. The straps are fully adjustable and seem to stay were you put them, length wise. The only thing I did dislike about this bra was the silly lace at the top of the cups - pretty! - but it always showed through, and didn't lay flat, even though the bra cups themselves lay flat and smooth.

This review is for the Spring/Summer 2014 Lucy in red.

It looks as if I've finally got my perfect fit in the Lucy. I also own this bra in 30E (review here 30E - Cleo » Lucy (5851) ) and while that one's comfortable enough, I do get quad-boob in it on my larger side. This one solves that problem, as well as an issue I didn't realise I had until it was gone: the underwire digging into breast tissue on the side. The difference is only marginal, but from looking at the marks from the underwire, it's definitely an improvement.

This is a replacement for my 32E - Cleo » Marcie (6831) which stretched out incredibly quickly. This new one is pretty tight at the moment, but if it loosens as quickly as its predecessor, it will only take half an hour to break in!

This bra had similar fit issues I had with the Cleo Meg Balconnet (6751). The bottoms of the cups hug me, but there's too much space in the top section so it looks like it bubbles. It's way more obvious on my smaller side. The band is snug, a little tighter than I prefer but it's otherwise fine and would loosen up to a more comfortable fit.

I love the colour and print, but I'm not a huge fan of the mesh section. I feel like it doesn't go with the leopard print. Unfortunately, the fit just didn't work for me so I'm sending it back.

Cheerful balcony bra made of sheer purple fabric with lace on the upper cups and a little red bow on the gore. I can only agree with the overall judgement about the very round shape. It's amazing for an unpadded bra. But as it was said before it feels like my boobs sit kind of low in this bra. I think this is due to the considerably wide set straps which I would prefer to know a little more in.

The band is as firm as expected. The straps are kind of stretchy and fully adjustable though you have to get used to trimming while doing it. The lace on the contrary is not stretchy at all. Therefore this beautiful bra sadly has a tiny little bit of a quadboob tendency on me. So next time I definitely will try the 30FF but for now this one works pretty nice and I feel superb wearing it.

Bought this bra when I was still figuring out my size. I need a 26 band or at least a very tight 28 but at the time I thought 30 was "close enough". It's not.

I really like that the top part of the cups on this lay flat - the top parts of the cup on the Ellis and Lily didn't lay flat at all. The band on this is pretty stretchy, so I think I'd probably prefer this in a 28 instead of a 30.
