That makes sense; it really curves back pretty dramatically even in the cup itself, never mind the lace.
This was just voted down. I'm brand-new to Bratabase; what did I do wrong? I don't understand. :(
deodar05 I would guess because it's not a review of the bra as much as it is a statement that it didn't fit you. When you review something, there's a yellow box to the side that gives suggestions for what to say. Is it itchy? Does it poke? How fast did it wear out? You can also put things like how it fits in general. Is the band a true 30 or is it stretchy/tight. Do the cups run small/shallow/deep/narrow/wide...
Pretty much follow this: if your twin/bestie/mom asked you to tell her about this bra and whether she should buy it, what would you tell her.
Thanks for the response. That IS what I would tell my twin; when I was adding my bra I didn't know it would automatically be added as a review for everyone. Since that is the case, I'll try. I have zero experience reviewing bras, and I have no idea how it compares to others; this is only the second I've ever owned that was remotely close in fit.
deodar05 there should be a little checkbox that you can unclick on your next review so it doesnt share as an adventure. It will still be publicly viewable, but only when someone clicks on that bra, it won't pop up on the main feed.
Does not fit me; bought for a friend. Very firm band.

(This review is for the navy/parrot print.)
This is the first bra that's ever given me problems with its gore. The band feels perfect, but the gore presses so hard that it actually hurts. I think if it was slightly lower, it wouldn't be a problem. I tried gently bending the wires away and adding an extender, and so far it seems better. I'll see how it feels in a few more hours. (EDIT: So it turns out pregnancy has increased my underbust measurement by a couple inches, and I should really be wearing a 32E. I'm sure this has a LOT to do with why the wires are ... painful.)
Other than that, this seems like a good fit. For once, I finally have a bra in my true size that's actually an appropriate distance from my armpits on both the underwires and the sides of the cups, so I'm not getting stabbed or cut at all. It's also surprisingly soft for an unlined bra, so even if it was in my armpits, I don't think it would be intolerable.
The pattern and colors are so cute. I love the bright parrots against the navy blue, and the corral pink is a very nice accent color. Plus one for my blue bra collection! Weird how almost all of the fitting bras I have right now are blue. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />

Very cute but doesn't fit me right.

With my upper fullness, this bra could have been a bit of a challenge because of the lace section at the top. Thankfully that isn't an issue. The front seam definitely does show through clothing, even with a few light layers, but considering this bra is pretty comfortable I don't let it bother me. The elastic isn't as sharp on this bra for some reason, though I think that the break-in period will eventually cause the slight red marks on my back and shoulders to go away.

This is one of the two unlined bras I purchased recently, and they are the first bras I've ever owned that fit and did not have foam cups. I definitely enjoy knowing I have a greater range of options, and the fabric breathes nicely. The only downside is that the edges of the elastic, which I've noticed to be an issue for me with Panache and Cleo, are very sharp against my skin. After wearing most of my Panache brand bras for a decent portion of the day my skin is bright red, sensitive, and I'm more prone to skin irritations like ingrown hairs right at where edges of my straps and the bottom of the wings are in contact with my skin. This usually doesn't cause as much trouble after a few months, but it's still frustrating to some degree.

This is a lovely looking bra. I wish the top lace section was not so loose - the rest fits pretty well, but the top section floats right off the breast. The gore can be very uncomfortable.

Looks good, but the cups are to small and not deep enough.

This bra is probably the most comfortable bra I own. I would have never picked it out off the rack, but I really like it and am considering getting another in a different color. Nothing pokes, pinches or cuts in. The band stays in place. Gives an awesome, natural shape and offers good support. The pattern in the fabric is slightly visible under clothes and because the bra is unlined there's some modesty issues under thinner shirts, but otherwise a flawless bra.

This bra is truly gorgeous, it's gotten multiple compliments from friends and even my boyfriend who's usually oblivious to bras commented on how pretty the embroidery is. The band is ideal for me, stays in place but doesn't dig in. I'm impressed how firm it still is despite frequent wearing, it doesn't seem to have stretched out at all. The cups are almost perfect. I get a tiny bit of gaping at the outside edges, worse if I hunch at all (I have this issue with most bras). Haven't been able to try a size down in this cut, but I think I might spill over a bit on my larger side. Gore is my preferred height (around 2.5in), lies flat, doesn't dig in at all.

Fits better than 32E even though they are supposed to be "sister sizes". I think I need to try a 30FF.

This bra fits my FoB/even shape fairly well (I look most like a 2/5 on /r/abrathatfits on reddit), except on days when I am a little bigger (like right before and after my period). I get slight quad-boobing on both breasts, but it is very minor.
The underwires do not seem long enough for the bra itself - there is still room on the wings for the underwires to go slightly higher (it's like they just stopped the wire short of where it could be).
I have the straps adjusted to their longest setting to try and correct the quad-boob effect, but this means that occasionally I have ... to adjust the straps from falling off my shoulders.
The material is a little scratchy and shows easily through thinner shirts. I have the yellow version of this bra and like to wear it under white as it is not easily seen, but the pattern and material of the bra can show through depending on how tight the shirt is. Same with the quad-boob effect.
Overall, I like this bra but I don't LOVE it. I wear my Pixie WAY more as I like the material better and I like that the mesh is open on the top, whereas on this bra the upper mesh feels closed, cutting me off. I only wear this bra with thicker shirts or sweaters/sweatshirts, and only in the middle of my cycle when I am not at my largest.
Hope this helps!

This is the best fitting bra I have tried on so far. The band is not quite as stretchy as the Lepel Fiore or the Freya bras I have tried on, but is comfortable enough and secure. The wires are a good width. The part between the wire and the strap does come up quite high but I don't mind this as it feels like I am getting more side support and I don't think it is something I will be able to avoid as I am petite and have a short root (I think my boobs are set slightly high as well). My right breast (the larger ... one) fills the cup well though right after swooping and scooping I get minor in-cup quadboob which seems to be fairly common but tends to go away once my breasts have "settled" into the bra. The lace on the left side gapes slightly but is not really noticeable under clothing so I don't really mind. The cups also wrinkle quite a bit. My only real issue with this bra is the gore. The height doesn't really bother me even though it comes up higher than I'm used to, but it is a bit wide for me. If I have it lay flat against my sternum one of the wires ends up resting on a bit of tissue and after a while it starts to hurt. I find I can alleviate this discomfort temporarily by pinching the gore so the wires sit like this: /\.

This bra is PERFECT. It gives incredible lift, has a nice, narrow gore, and doesn't show through clothes (the seams/etc.). This is very comfortable and gives a great, narrow look from the front (no east/west business). I recommend it highly, especially if you're trying to find a bra that really fits. I do wish it came in less exciting colors/patterns, though...a beige or black would be great, lol.
FYI, I have narrow roots, projection, and am between even and FOT. Hope this helps you in your search! : )

Love the Minnie. Very cute, pretty much same fit as the Cleo Lily in the same size. Nice round shape. I did use an extender for a few days and now it fits perfectly. Works on me and I'm even/FOT. I recommend it highly! <3

I like this better than the Lucy because of the full band. It's a bit tight so I'll need to wear an extender for a while. The problem for me is that the straps are too thin and the cup top is too big.

I got the white colorway first and loved it. I'd never been a fan of unlined bras but the Lucy is great. The pink is even more beautiful but the cups are too big.

This bra mostly looks fantastic. I have a little bit of quadboob on my larger side, especially when I'm swollen. The straps are fine. They are very close to my armpits, but not uncomfortable. The lace along the top edge is sometimes apparent through clothes, not a fan. Occasionally the gore digs into my body a bit but that hasn't really bothered me so far. The band is much too tight. I've worn the bra about a dozen days and only one of those days I wasn't fussing with the band all day long. I've hand washed it a few times but recently put in the washing machine (not the dryer) in a delicates bag. Hoping it will stretch out a little bit more for me.

First of all, make sure you check the elastic on the wings before deciding to buy this specific bra. The elastic strips were RAZOR sharp on mine, and still dig in after wearing this bra all day though I want to assume it was a combination of the band being so stiff at first and perhaps being slightly flawed in manufacturing or something. The cups are pretty stiff as well, but this bra can conceal me in the coldest weather! The wires were a little too high for my liking, making it uncomfortable to lay down in certain positions. The shape I get is really great though, I have a lot of upper fullness so that might be part of it. No cup wrinkling on the bottom, and it gives a nice round yet slightly compacted shape. At my height the straps are way too far out to the side, and are nearly sitting in my armpits.
Eventually the band has stretched out enough that it feels comfortable, so this hasn't been too bad as my second real bra.

i found it too small for FOT as well (on me anyways)...
