Aaahhh! I've wanted this bra since I first saw it on the web; I love the strange watercolour-pixelated-something-something pattern <3
And it's a perfect fit: right cup size, just right in the band, and lovely rounded shape. The only complaints I have is that the lace on top of the cup doesn't lay flat, and that the straps are too long (which they almost always are for me, so no huge surprise there, and also no huge alteration to make).
Similar to the 28HH though I think I could definitely use a cup down. Unless there is a very dramatic difference between the GG and H it will still fit wayy too wide. But the longer, stretchier band in the 30 allowed the cups less tension so I got a nicer shape.
Straps are not fully adjustable (padded/lined halfway with a soft material)
I am really dissapointed in this one. I didn't buy it earlier because the pattern isn't really my thing, But now it was so cheap and I was certain it will give me the shape I look for and I will grow to love it.
Nope. The shape it gives me is too projected, and it somewhat flattens me on top, looking almost pointy from the profile? Very weird, I would expect that from a bravissimo balconette, not cleo. Fromthe front it looks good but the flowery lace upperpart is very visible under clothes. It's also quite high in coverage, which is what I look for but might me a minus for some.
I found ...the band to be quite loose. I know my underbust shrunk, but I have some panache superbras in my drawer that are 30's and they are much more firm. This one is comparable to a Freya 30, and it may feel even looser because of the lack of support from just two hooks.
After wear, the pressure on my shoulders was quite substantial which is proof the band isn't doing it's job, not even on the tightest hook where I have it to prevent the ride-up.
I am also surprised by how fat apart the straps are, I wasn't expecting that to be such a problem in 30H bra. (used to be 30J)
Wires are spot on for me, although they seem slightly weaker then other cleos I own.
Usually I am not keen on Cleo patterns but I also regularly find them much more appealing in person then online. This one was the exception. I found it to be the ugliest bra I ever layed my eyes on. I know some find it cute, but I just can't relate. Read more 174 more words
This bra is too big in the cups for me, might fit me as a 30GG. It was pretty comfortable, if you don't mind the molded cups. When you move around, the cup basically stays in place while your breast moves around - causing the gap between cup and top of breast for me.
I really love the print on this bra, it's just so cute! The wires are just a tad bit too wide for me, but it's close enough that it doesn't bother me. I really like the shape this gives, except I get a little in-cup quadboobing right above the seam. It's a tiny noticeable on my smaller boob, but it's pretty noticeable on my bigger boob, so that sucks, but I can live with it for now. Going up a cup size might help with that, but if the wires are wider than this, then I don't think it would work out.
I've worn this bra 3 times now, so this is what I have found good and bad about it:
The good: The shape is amazing- very round and projected for a unpadded bra. The band is really supportive- very true to size for a 30, firm but not to tight. It stays put all day and doesn't rub or anything. The shape on the cups is good- there's plenty of room on top so it accommodates my full on top boobs perfectly, and I fill out the bottom as well, which is good as I usually have empty space in freya balconettes. It's so pretty!
The bad: The straps are too wide. I'm 5'8 and don't have what I would call narrow shoulders, but these straps dig me in the arms all day. So hopefully that will improve as it gets worn in because I love this bra!
Overall a thumbs up from me, but either the strap placement needs to be addresses or they need to be made of softer fabric in future seasons.
This bra fit well. It gives a nice, rounded shape. The cups didn't leave enough room my full- on- bottom breasts, producing the "orange in a glass" effect. The top edge of the actual cup lays flat against my chest, however the decorative lace sticks out at an odd angle.
I got the 30H Juna after I experienced a mild case of quadboob with the 30GG, and my breasts were dwarfed! Not just the depth was off, but the height of the cups as well. Considering how minor the original quadboob was, I just decided to stay with the GG.
I love the look of this bra. However, it does not suit me at all. The cups are way too big at the top and gape. Yet, as with most plunges, I spill out of the middle. This is a common problem for me in most plunges. In 30GG this bra would most likely give me a quadboob effect. This is more suitable for someone with firmer or top heavy breasts. The bra runs true to size in my opinion.
Another Cleo that I want to work, but won't. It's a sister size and needs alterations to a tighter band. The shape is gorgeous, round & lifted. I love the shape, it is my idea shape in an unpadded bra. I don't love the wire width, it's just too wide for me. I also don't like that I have some shifting in the cups that cause some wrinkling. That is part of not having an ideal fit. I find this bra to be comfortable even with out an ideal fit.
When I first got this as a part of a grab bag, I dismissed it as too large and stuck it in a drawer. I've since realized I've been underestimating my cup size. This bra puckers a bit on the top on my smaller side, but I think that's partially due to construction rather than shaping - the seaming looks to slightly gather the lace, and it shouldn't. The gore is much too wide wide for my close-set bust.
This is a lovely looking bra. it is dark grey with lighter grey, white and yellow polka dots on. It has a small rose in the middle of the cups.
The band is very tight - so far i have worn it twice. Both times i have used an extender. It is comparable in band length to a 28 Melissa. i think it is because it is black.
It fits comfortably apart from the band tightness, giving a nice round upfront shape.
This is a beautiful bra! Who of us larger sized women can resist a yellow bra with pink bow and super feminine sheer cups???? Not me!! The band is supportive and straps hold my boobs, very well fitting bra and material is nice. This bra just makes you happy, wearing it!!
edit: I love this bra, went back and got it in the pink as well... for a sheer bra, you wouldn't think it is as supportive or comfortable as it is, but it IS!!
So sad this didn't fit! If I had this in a 30GG it would be perfect. But, gaping in the cups, definitely need a cup down. Very comfortable bra for me otherwise. Nice soft fabric, stretchy adjustable straps, quite stretchy band (would be a little worried it would stretch out too easily over time though), cute design. I need my gore a little higher for it to not dig in to my sternum, but this could likely be solved by bending the wires out a bit. Gives a great rounded shape even in the wrong cup size. Nice and high under the arm for my re-migrating breast tissue. Unfortunately, ...there seem to be no more 30GGs to be had. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Edit: I need this on the 2nd hooks straight away, perhaps even 3rd, so this bra's (brand's?) band does run big. I've decided to keep it though because it works with inserts and the sale price isn't work the return shipping costs. Not perfect - I think I'd actually need a 28GG/H for that - but I can make it work. Read more 77 more words
The new Navy/Pink version is even better than the old colors. It now has more space in the top edge (a little more space than the white in the sister size 28HH, and TONS more space than the coral in the same sister size 28HH). So I don't need to alter the center gore in the navy to make it fit.
I love this bra because it is really pretty. It is white with a lacy overshell which doesn't pick easily so that is nice as well. This is a nice plunge to wear with low cut tops and the lacy shell doesn't show much under sheer shirts. The only downsides are the underwire slides within the underwire pocket so I had to add some stitches to keep it from moving. Also the cup is cut pretty low to where my nipples ALMOST pop out but I don't have quad-boob. It is a pretty bra but remember with white bras, you are going to get discoloration where it touches your body no matter how clean you are. Also the straps are a little short for me so the top of the cup chafes on my armpit area, but I'm keeping it!
