Stretches to 35" in a 32 band. Shoot me. Gorgeous, wonderfully fitting cups, soft materials, fit between Cleo Marcie and Cleo Lily - lots of depth at the bottom of the cup but more open than Lily. But it's just too damn big. What a shame. With a bra stretching 3" bigger than it should be I consider it a serious quality issue.
This bra fit me perfectly when I got it near the end of my pregnancy. Even though it is too big now, the lower projection has always been perfect, the wire sits right underneath my breast and doesn't budge. I would even buy this in a smaller size now since I've lost weight, but I'm not a huge fan of the mesh material. Also the flower embroidery shows through everything and looks like I have hives. Sigh. I also prefer full band bras. Really a bummer because this has been the best fit for the shape of my breasts. the wires are still a bit too wide and the cups too tall at the armpits but it was less noticeable when I was bigger.
I bought this bra when I was pregnant, so I purposefully bought it in a bigger size. At the time, it was quite comfortable, though I don't think even then it was a perfect fit on me. I bought this because I'm even, but I have recently discovered that I have short roots, so I'm more functionally FOB. Consequently I never quite filled out the top of this bra very well. The immediate lower projection and projection at the gore is awesome, but I think it's overall too deep for me. I would fill the cup to the apex, but I never got a "rounded" look. It was definitely lifted though! I love the material it is made out of way more than my Lucy. It feels more supportive, and I like that it's smoother. If this cut hadn't been discontinued, I might have tried it in a smaller size. As it is, it's just a too big all over now.
Pros: -Good projection -Good coverage for when coverage is wanted -Good support -Keeps breasts contained
Cons -Wires come up too high for me, and stab me in the sides (I'm short-5'2" tall, and have a semi-short torso) -Wires are too wide for my narrow shape. -Gore is too high, it only measures about 3" but that's because the bottom of the gore is above the bottom of the cups. -Gore is too wide for my close set breasts. -Band shifts down throughout the day (but I haven't really found a bra that doesn't do this)
The bad: The wires are too wide - go too far underneath my armpit and kind of dig in. The straps are too short so they pull and hurt. The lace looks lumpy underneath a tshirt.
The good: love the way this pulls my breasts forward and in. It seems to minimize without flattening. The shape is great underneath my clothes.
I need a larger cup size because my larger breast is sticking out. I would consider ordering a 32H and getting the straps lengthened and bending the wires if I can't find anything better. The gore doesn't tack completely, but I think it would if i had the correct size. For now, it's going back.
I wish this bra had three hooks and a lower gore. It was fitting well, but with a 10lb/1.5" gain, I looked in the mirror while out last weekend and saw what I assume is called "in cup quadraboob" - the seamline across the cup is too tight (this isn't really apparent in the photos).
Also, this bra is very old and should likely be recycled.
Fairly comfortable bra that gives a nice mostly rounded shape. The cups are deep enough and the upper lace is not tight, so it does not give me quad boob. It does come dangerously close to cutting into my armpit, but I am rather narrow through myour shoulders. The straps are set a little wide, so keep that in mind doing if you have narrow shoulders. Not as much of a problem for me since they settle in my deep shoulder grooves so they don't slip off my shoulders. I think the bra is very cute with the white lace and white embroidered polka-dots, however, I think this ...will be visible under a white or really thin top. I found dead the band to be tightened the first time I wore it, but I'm only on my 5th or 6th wear and I'm already on the middle set of hooks, and I can see that I will need to go tighter soon. I will definitely get this bra again because I really love the shape, but next time, I'm sister sizing to a 30H. Read more 76 more words
Fits okay. Needs more elastic on top of cup. Breast hand out of the cup a bit toward the gore. To of cup of a little tight on one side and too loose on the other. Band is very stretchy.
I wanted this bra from the moment I saw it. I know Cleo are my best brand for lift shape and fit. (quite how they do it I have no idea but I'm not complaining!) I tried a slightly smaller size than previously as I have reduced a little and it fits better than the metaphorical glove. Perfect wire width and height, perfect cup depth and height, lace lies flat and smooth. The pink is very neon which doesn't bother me but I would have preferred slightly less bright. The lace is adorable with the little birds. As this colourway was not going to match any generic knickers, I also bought the matching briefs. A stunning set.
I have worn this bra twice now and I'm still not sure.
I love the shape and support from my unpadded cleos so much that I don't even bother to look at anything else, but I do need something more invisible at times. ( Love the Cleo colours and patterns but they don't go well under lacy ivory tops). I tried on Maddie (very shallow) and Juna.
I had read that Juna was wide and shallow but the wires on the 32GG Juna are exactly the same as the 32GG Kira and similar to 32H erin/lily, which has been described as very narrow and deep so it may be ...wider in smaller sizes but I'm not convinced in my range, and they certainly don't feel wide.
I'm not sure whether this is a half cup or balconette (Panache call it a balconette, Bravissimo call it a half cup) and I wonder if its a different cut than I am used to in a padded style which I am not used to which makes me unsure. it does lift me very well, giving that more obvious "edge" to the top of my boobs.
So that's all positive, I wore it around the house for a while and it is comfortable, it does give more cleavage than I usually get but as it has the higher gore I don't fall out of it like a plunge, however the first day of wearing it properly, I did sort of climb out of it a bit, in the middle so it didn't give obvious quadding, but it needed rearranging a few times. Yesterday it didn't do that at all, so maybe its what I do in it that matters. I wonder about sizing up, but this one is just right for my short roots and I do fill out the whole bra.
All in all I am undecided if this is my invisible bra or if there may be better out there, I have yet to tackle washing it (how do you wash a padded bra???), and will see how it goes. It does sell at an amazingly low price!
Does anyone know of any others I should try without sending to Poland? (I have noted that Beige Marcie is back in in Bravissimo so may try that one next if they have ironed out the issues). Read more 284 more words
Juna is quite wide and shallow in smaller sizes. In the larger sizes it's my experience that it's slightly narrower and one of the deepest padded bras on the market excluding Polish. It does run small in the cups though.
When I wash mine, I just let them soak in the sink in lukewarm water with a tiny bit of laundry soap. After they sit a bit, I take a soft washcloth and *gently* rub around the insides of the cups by the underwires and at the strap connection or anywhere else that might have gotten sweaty. Then I rinse very thoroughly in cold water, lay them flat on a big towel, and use another towel to blot excess water from the straps and band. Sometimes I'll ball up the bottom towel and shove it into the cups so it holds their shape, and then use the top towel to try to soak up some water from the cups. Then I hang them up over the tub to drip dry.
Thank you IcI0706, I will try that, and perhaps try the H cup next time im in a shop and see if its better. Love the shape it gives so its worth a try.
I think this bra is good for my nearly-omega, short roots, narrow and super projected breasts. The wires aren't as stabby as the Cleo Marcie in 32GG was, thankfully, and the gore tacks. The wires are a bit wide and of course there are wrinkles, but I'm overall happy with the feel of the bra that I think I'm going to keep it, as long as the comfort continues as I wear it.
I'm not the biggest fan of the extra layer of felt/padding on the straps. While it's nice that Panache considered comfort for people in bigger cup sizes, it feels a bit matronly. I'd rather have 3 hooks (HINT HINT PANACHE).
Just got these in both blue and yellow after my measurements were checked at a store fitting. I love the colours and the shape, will have to report on the quality and durability later on but so far they fit well and look nice and round under clothing. My first Cleo purchase and I am hoping they'll perform according to the hype because I love Cleo's colours.
UPDATE: After wearing the bra a couple of times I noticed that I can't quite fill it and the cups wrinkle a at the top of the cup. Also, the underwires sort of dig into the sternum not because they are too ...high or low but I think it has something to do with the angle at which they are bent? Not really sure. All in all, I am sort of disappointed because I love the shape and the colours and I did try a 32G at the store and it was tight in the cups and when I tried 32GG it looked ok. But you can never really tell before spending a day wearing it.. Read more 74 more words
Researching this bra before I bought it, I found two things repeated a lot: the Juna is good for shallow breasts, and the Juna runs a bit small in the cups. I'm usually a 30H or 30GG, depending on the bra. I'm also shallow. I decided that I would go with the larger of my two usual sizes, in deference to small cups. When I went to make my purchase, however, I found that 30H was out of stock -- so I sister sized up to 32GG. This was not a great decision, nor was going with the bigger cup size. This bra is laughably large on me. ...The band (which doesn't seem particularly firm) is too loose. The cups gape and gape and then gape some more. I think a 30GG might have fit, but there's so much extra space in the cups that I can't be sure. (I've ordered a 30GG Darcy, a sister cut of the Juna, and will edit this review when I try the Darcy. The issue may also be one of shape -- I could just be too shallow for the Juna.*) I'm disappointed that this bra so decidedly doesn't fit, because I like everything else about it. The fabric is soft, the lace on the cups is cute, and the wires are a great width for me. And the color! The strawberry color is very bright and saturated in person -- just gorgeous. I really wish this fit.
*ETA: The 30GG Darcy fits very well, no gaping. So what I needed with this bra was to go down a cup size. Read more 159 more words
I have so many good things to say about this bra. Its very soft feeling on the inside, straps are soft and comfortable, and its really pretty.
On the down side, the lace shows under light tops, do the nipples wont ( I have dark nipples), I wouldn't recommend it for t shirts. the elastic an the sides and at the band its really stiff, and really firm (first weeks it wont give lots of stretch) it cutted the first time I wore it. and the center gore is painful!! its a good idea to bend it lightly to the outside. I ordered a 32GG, since I herd the cup runned ...small. I'm 33 under bust and 40 over bust. I you are an in between sizes like me I really recommend buying a bra extender (I did after, and it fit OK, no more cutting. not my best fit but it was ok), or going up a band size, and down a cup size to maintain the same cup volume, but your bra is going to last a bit less longer.
I have a bit of a issue with this bra, it fits me well at my bigger boob ( a bit loos at top, not noticeable) and at the smaller a lot more loose and its noticeable, Ill fix it with a stitch. I guess the worst thing of all is that since I have a high set of breast the center is really tall on me and painful after a while
